Hey everyone! I’m Stephanie, and I want to thank you for coming back to my channel! 🎉 Tomorrow, we kick off our homeschooling journey for September 2024 with Evelyn in 1st grade, the twins in 4th, Dean in 6th, Miles in 8th, Hudson in 10th, and Eli, our senior! 🎓

Right now I feel like the weight of the world is resting on my shoulders. We have a big decision to make before the school year starts and I don’t know what the right decision is but I feel like no matter what I do I’m going to get pushback from both sides so I’m going to have to just go with what my gut is telling me and if it’s the wrong decision I’ll have to live with that.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As a mom and as a parent all we want is the best for our children and sometimes the best for one isn’t necessarily going to be the best for the other. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’m a great mom and I’m doing the best that I can. Today I’m going to let all those worries sit there because they’re not going anywhere anyway and I am going to focus on 𝐌𝐄 today because this chick has to stay strong and has to stay healthy. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ** I had to leave Coach Summit before I was able to even look at the new activewear so I had to order these and I’m loving them! Life is just a series of cliffs you jump off ⛰. . . No move we ever do in our lives can guarantee a certain outcome... . . Yet our guts KNOW if something is FOR us or not...and chances are - if that “thing” you’re avoiding is for your soul benefit and needed for your life’s Journey.. there’s little use building walls around it - or “buts” over it 🙅🏻‍♀️- because it’ll just keep presenting itself over + over again until you get the point 🤷🏻‍♀️. . . Like a built in spiritual looping system. . . This has been a truth I’ve seen happen to me over and over again in my life. I remember when I first started thinking about starting my event rental business several years ago... and almost as soon as the thought popped into my head e v e r y o n e I knew suddenly needed help planning something... . . And even though my “experience” and knowledge was nowhere near a design or creative field (psychology and HR) the universe didn’t care. It wanted to point me to 👉 family life, entrepreneurship + service... and that’s what it did. . . To the point that nothing else in my life seemed to flow. . . Fast forward a few yrs later and a similar thing happened with homeschooling. EVERY type of schooling we tried did not work for us (and the traumatic stories to go with them just sealed the message for us in case there was any chance we still had a doubt!). . . Suddenly I had mentors rising up everywhere I turned, laying a brick here and another there... helping me walk a path I had no clue existed. That would eventually help us start to see how we wanted to design and follow our own. . . So as you can see... . . This is what my mom has been preaching since the 70s and actually did with both my brother and I! We loved homeschooling even though we had our own health and dyslexia issues! Dr said my brother would never read but my mom encouraged but never rushed either of us and now he loves reading and so do I!

“Are we teaching our children how to learn and are we instilling a love for learning?

Are we making sure that their education goes beyond good grades and bubbling in circles and actually encompasses the ability to question, apply, evaluate, and synthesize information?

Are we teaching them how to think critically? How to see past deception and distractions?

Are we teaching them TRUTH and how to pursue WISDOM? And do they know that it begins with the fear of The Lord?

For when the tests are passed and the years along with them, those are the things that will truly remain.
