[Approximately 5 hours ago] I'm going to watch I Saw The TV Glow and I'll probably enjoy it but I don't think it'll hit too hard, I've been openly trans in some form or another for a few years by now

i personally believe if your theology does not allow your queer child to be baptised because you believe that puts them on a similar level to satan, or if you want to flip tables by seeing the statement "God loves trans people", your theology is bad and it is not based in love.

sometimes i get caught up in the fact that my mum can be nice sometimes but then i remember she works for a foundation actively wirking agains lgbtq and womens rights, and is extremely transphobic and homophobic TO MY FACE despite me coming out to her almost four years ago :)
she wanted to go to the barbie movie with me and i said “great!” because i thought yay bonding moment between me and my mom because i heard the movie touches on like relationships with mothers and we might understand each other better
but it turns out its because shes working on a campaign against the movie because “it pushes the trans agenda” and proceeded to laugh about trans people to my face
so yea i am a bit sad now

my parents were always known around their friend/family circle for having 3 girls. my dad was kinda of always made fun of for being on a estrogen filled household. flash forward, i transed my gender. they simply did not and do not tell people about this fact. so when meeting old friends and colleagues they're like yeah this is my son noa :) and everybody is always like ???????????? hi nice to see you ... ????????? and you can see their brain rattling around their skull like what do you mean a son i thought u had girls only but nobody ever asks bc it's all casual conversation and it's weird to ask that
