currently reading: I just picked up Gideon the Ninth to see what all the fuss is about and The Far Blue Mountains by Louis L'Amour (western is kinda a guilty pleasure and my dad got me like 8 Louis L'Amour books for my bday)

last movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, it was a rather nasty brain day and I needed an almost three hour distraction, I actually like the potc movies, they're like brain popcorn even if the storylines get kinda scrambled sometimes

Currently watching: Star Trek TOS (for the 8th time I think) and I started Jeeves and Wooster, I thought it would be kinda boring but I rather liked it, Wooster says 'I'm not the kind of man who becomes a slave to his valet' or something along this line but just almost always goes with Jeeves's suggestions, it's funny seeing Hugh Laurie's face on a rather silly man after getting used to him being a grumpy asshole in House M.D.

currently craving: hmmm maybe a baozi or a pumpkin and jerked beef coxinha (i'm sorry to the other Brazilians that might read this but there's a place in my city that does a bunch of different flavored coxinhas and they're all soooo good)

currently consuming: I just had an enormous banana split with pistachio, red chocolate and chocolate chip ice cream

three ships: ohhh let's see, Spirk, Riddick/Vaako (The Chronicles of Riddick) and Francis Crozier/James Fitzjames

first ship: can't remember lol, probably something anime related

favorite color: Blue

currently working on: hitting the gym, getting back into fighting shape, not going stir crazy

(we were talking about it and i couldn't resist) "I'm s-sorry, y-you had to go through so much. You had to suffer..." Souta holds Haruka tight with no intentions of letting go. Homurabi was a living nightmare, a monster that had tortured Haruka and made his childhood hell. Oh what rage Souta would feel if he ever met this demon. "I wish I could tt-take it all away, what he did. I-I won't let him hurt you ever again. I promise. "

He isn’t certain which affects him more: the words or the embrace. It’s difficult to process his surroundings in such a panicked, emotional state. He’s still caught in-between the hellish scenery of the nightmare and the reality of Souta’s cold, dark bedroom; dazed.

But, the moment that he’s brought into Souta’s arms, he falls apart.

The fear, the pain, the relief; all of it hits him at once, overwhelming his senses. A gasp shudders out of him as his expression softens, tears quickly filling blue eyes and rolling down his cheeks. His hands curl into the backs of Souta’s shoulders, fingers grappling at the faded fabric of his shirt.

Small, broken sobs escape his lips as he presses into him. His heart squeezes painfully in his chest, to the point that it physically hurts. The ache runs so deep; a pain that’s scarred him and left him feeling more helpless than he ever has.

The death of his family is an entirely different pain. It’s something that will follow him forever, always lingering at the back of his mind.

But, he will never forget the day that Homurabi abandoned him.

He will never forget how easily he discarded him when he was no longer of any use, or the last words that he left him with.

“I don’t have any interest in a brat who dirties his master with a dying rat’s blood.”

After eight years bound together, after viciously ripping away his chance to have a childhood, after everything he did for him because he truly thought that it was for the right purpose…

He threw him away, without so much as looking back. It all meant nothing.

“He… He didn’t care about me.” His voice comes out weak and muffled, face buried in the other’s chest. A sob bubbles up as his fingers dig deeper into Souta’s shoulders, unintentionally leaving red indents from his nails. “I-I did unforgivable things. I… I hurt so many people. I did it for him, but he… h-he…”

His voice cracks with a pitiful whine, eyes narrowing and teeth gritting as he lightly shakes his head, pale locks fluttering. He sinks further into Souta’s arms, losing the strength to keep himself up. His cries steadily become more heartbroken and distressed, trembling against him.

“I-I… I want it back.” His past, his family, the innocence of his old self; it was all torn away from him, before he could experience any of it. “He took… e-everything from me.”

He hates him. He harbors so much hate for that man in his heart. His life was destroyed the very day that he came into his life, and he wants nothing more than to erase it.

But, at the same time, he doesn’t. No matter how long he suffered and lived behind a mask, he still wouldn’t change a thing. He doesn’t want to change it, because if he did, then he wouldn’t have met Souta.

Every moment of sorrow and anguish led him to Souta. It was all for the sake of finding his other half; the person who his soul is connected to and who will love him unconditionally. How could he ever want to change the past?

“Souta…” He says his name in a whisper that conveys every ounce of his love and grief. He lifts his head, cheeks flushed a deep red and eyes sparkling with tears that continue freely spilling down his face. His lips brush over Souta’s with a shy desperation, seeking the comfort of a full kiss. “You’re all I have.”

half the reason shirogane really turned completely wasn’t because he was discovering homurabi’s true intents for the first time but also because well....it was a re-enactement of ryuuko’s death except that homurabi, in ryuuko’s place, got to live when ryuuko didn’t

and not only was he faced by his own responsabilities he failed to take but also faced with the reflection of his very own self, which he just remorsefully called...vermin
