Alright new Jason Todd headcanons in a dpxdc setting:
Danny is a "liminal" ghost, rather than a "half" ghost. He's alive and dead at the same time. (He's like Jesus Christ (in the church denomination I grew up in), fully ghost and fully human.) Danny, in human form, can go through a ghost shield, because he IS a living human.
Jason, however, is a reanimated corpse. He isn't a ghost, wouldn't have a ghost core, etc, he has a normal human system that runs ON ectoplasm. Jason CANNOT go through a ghost shield, because he is always an ectoplasmic entity. Danny can go through the Fenton Ghost Catcher and be split into a ghost and a human; if Jason went through the ghost catcher, he would straight up die.
(For my purposes I'm gonna say that Jason became an ectoplasmic entity upon his resurrection, but wasn't very stable. Dunking in the Lazarus pit stabilized his system but also poisoned his ectoplasm.)
I do think that Jason could learn certain ghost abilities if he learned to harness his ectoplasm, especially if they detoxed him off the Lazarus waters. He's probably already enhancing his stealth and strength in ways he hasn't really noticed. I think he's held back by the amount of physical matter he's lugging around, so maybe he couldn't fly, but I'm imagining temporary invisibility, or intagibility of like, a limb at a time. Maybe he can't walk through walls, but in a fight he can dodge by instinctively making the targeted part of his body intangible.

Literally cannot stop thinking about picking Nubbins up alongside the road. Him getting increasingly more creepy and unhinged, you getting more and more freaked out.. but finding some sick enjoyment in it. Squirming and shifting behind the wheel, from both terror and want, to your own disgust

anyway my "why i don't think idia is (usually) stinky" post from earlier today did remind me of a wider issue i have with how people in the fandom treat idia sometimes: i've been engaging with this fandom since march 2023 and since then i've seen all kinds of headcanons and fics and such where he's characterized not just as smelly and sweaty and gross 24/7--but also as "the token straight", homophobic, an incel and a perv. and people always seem to automatically do this when they see a gamer/otaku character, no matter what the character's other traits may be, and i hate it. idia is a genius engineer and needs to clean up before he works with machines at the very least. idia very freely calls characters like vil, silver, and malleus gorgeous and handsome and attractive. idia's canon favorite anime is not some battle shonen series that's likely to have an abundance of oversexualized women and fanservice, but a wholesome and heartwarming sports anime about the friendship between a team of young women. idia is a wonderful character who's just as complex as anyone else in twst.

What the fuck is it with people demanding you have your age for everyone to see if u interact with them.
What happened to internet safety and anonymity and personal accountability as well.
Guys. Really. Why doesn't an 18+ work. If someone's an adult who fucking cares.

I see people drawing or writing of sea gods deitys (specifically goddesses) more often than not being dainty, feminine, majestic, and very conventionally pretty. And yes, the ocean itself is quite pretty and majestic. But I would also like to counterpoint that with, way more of the ocean is FUCKING TERRIFYING. And I think that is the most beautiful part of it as a whole. Now, you can draw your characters however you want- don’t let some random guy on the internet tell you what to do. There isn’t anything wrong with drawing them prettily at all! I. I just. I LOVE the goddesses that look like sea monsters. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I like drawing characters that are meant to be deity’s in a way that represents what they rein over, and the ocean is an incredibly vast and fascinating concept. I just feel like there is so much design potential in characters like that, why stick to such a conventional look when The ocean is basically the opposite of conventional? The ocean is weird, creepy, and vast- but still beautiful despite everything. Get weird! Don’t be afraid to be creative in your art, especially when the world we live in is anything but.

Honestly I don't know how Hazbin Hotel is less bad about aroace character than The Owl House.
Talking about Lilith even in QPR was risky. That fandom is VERY much 'aroace people are valid when they are on one side of spectrum only, hate dating and sex'.
Knowing how bitchy twttr HH fandom is it's very nice to see many many people who actually explore and play with Alastor's sexuality. There are still people like that. But much less.

Even without the reveal at the ending of the episode I have to say this one’s my favourite so far. The statement being set as a university dissertation? The exploration of space and loneliness and memory and how they intertwine?? The 60s-style restaurant in the middle of the void filled with what are basically cannibalistic carbon-copy people?!? This episode is already iconic to me.

blood donating experiences/wisdom for your followers:
-if the bag isn't filled a certain amount like 15 minutes in then they stop the draw because the clotting stuff in the bag won't work right (was dehydrated and they used my weaker vein)
-menstrual cramps and post-blood donation is a really bad time. I saw spots and puked and fainted and had to sign a waiver because I didn't want them to call an ambulance
-a dedicated blood donor center is kept pretty cold. Trying to recover from donation when it's warm is also a really bad time (Texas summer afternoon sunshine) BUT most places have those cool instant ice packs that you snap to activate
-ideally they'll have TVs playing a cooking show otherwise use your free hand to explore the internet
-there are actually lots of little in-chair exercises you can do while donating to help prevent those post-donation episodes! Lots of flexing and stretching of your leg muscles, and most clinics have a handout explaining the exercises
-nutter butters are the elite choice of post-donation snack AND red powerade if they have it
-for all the kinda scary things I just said I'm still a regular donor (O pos!) and really proud to have donated a lot of blood in my life and would highly recommend it to anyone able to do so. I've only had post-donation incidents a handful of times, and the most important things you can do to prevent that are to hydrate aggressively and eat a good meal before you donate.
Thank you for sharing such great insight!! Blood donors are literally the lifeblood of healthcare!
I have never needed a transfusion, but I'm so glad so many step up to make sure there's supplies for everyone's first (or umpteenth) transfusion. ❤️ Looking forward to when I'm well enough to donate myself! Luckily I'm not barred forever, I just need to reach a point where I don't have antibody activity (maybe will happen, maybe not).
And YEAH nutter butters are the elite choice of snack in most situations!!!
