when you ask for recommendations for shows/movies that aren't grimdark and the only response is "Letterkenny is probably too raunchy for you, Heartland might be more your wheelhouse" you start to question how you present yourself online

this is "you seem like the kind of person who would enjoy Ayn Rand" levels of misunderstanding me good lord

#honey I'm a queer lefty city girl from Ontario #the Conservative Horsey People From Alberta show is most definitely not my wheelhouse #letterkenny however is GREAT #(I will concede that LK is a little more raunchy/vulgar than I generally prefer but it's fucking hilarious I love it)#I haven't watched it in a while though #a season came out around the one year mark of the pandemic and my brain was basically soup at that point #I couldn't keep up with the dialogue even with the subtitles on they were talking too fast #my brain is less soup now (still significantly more soupy than pre-pandemic) maybe I should try catching up now
