my one season 4 complaint is Where The Fuck Was Aneesa

#never have i ever #i really wish her and fabiola had stayed together them not working out didn't rlly serve any purpose to the plot for the new season #fabiola's new relationship was barely rlaborated upon. as expected.#and aneesa was basically written out she was barely even part of the group #plus that scene of them at the staircase talking about fab's robotics team. they still have so much chemistry and they were literally just #talking about robotics #i understand she's not a major character and she can't have a separate plotline to herself but she wasn't even involved in anyone else's #her and fabiola were cute together and she would've at least been part of the plot if they were still dating #allison was barely a character what was the point of writing some random new partner for fabiola when she already had a perfectly good #love interest #it just doesn't make sense to me. whi decided it would be a good idea for them to break up #was it just an opportunity to shove in a nonbinary character who had no personality and was just there as someone's s/o and call it #representation #cause there are Many better ways to have nonbinary rep than this #but ofc mindy kaling wouldn't give a shit about this.#n e ways for this support my nonbinary aneesa hc . it's real.#fabiola torres #aneesa qureshi #OR AT THE VERY LEAST SHE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN WITH PAXTON. this week kicked my ASS did u know if it gets too hot out the New Jersey transit trains just stop working?? All I’ve been tryna do is type set 12 pages of life after this week and I have four left I will probably finish them today but know I am frustrated to have lost my train drawing time because I had to fist fight my way into the hell hole that is New York City

#important sen fact: I fucking hate New York City #New York in the summer is a specific kind of hell #summer in nyc 2020 was the fucking worst #I didn’t leave my apartment for like 4 weeks at one point cuz I was wfh at the time #nyc has a summer smell and that smell is mountains of trash baked in the hot sun left to simmer because the pavement and tall buildings #TRAP THE HEAT #it was 102 yesterday and I had to take the fucking path train home #missed my therapy apt and had to pay for late cancellation #and was straight up drenched in sweat just standing waiting for the train #because I refuse to not wear pants to work because of gender #wow how 2012 of me to have a full rant in the tags about real life #back to ur regularly scheduled nonsense sorry #nonsense

my biggest hot take is that, while it has aged poorly and has certainly heavily misrepresented characters like babs down the stretch, IN THE CONTEXT OF CURRENT CONTINUITY AND AT THE TIME OF ITS RELEASE, tt’s nightwing had the vibes needed for the series

It’s so cool to go to therapy and get the common sense filter and go oh…. I have been doing 11/10 on survival because this is abnormal life and you’re doing shockingly well and good for u on the therapy going thing it’s super cool to hear that and not I am doing 4/10 and I should be doing 10/10 to be good and useful and continue life plan as considered without recognizing the massive life changes that occurred to me in November and December, like I’m doing top notch right now considering the horrors and going to therapy and trying to manage the everything better

#I feel so self righteous in my wretched existence #she said most people have like #one major life adjustment at a time and spread out #not… 4 at once #since fucking November #I need grace and to not be so stressed out #I moved states have a new mostly untreated chronic pain condition graduated college #and am living with other people for the first time in 3 years #I’m coping fantastically considering all that #not doing so hot about the whole uh feel like I should be doing more including being done coping with the four massive life changes #but that’s part of the reason I’m therapy-ing
