Just remembered that one time in high school we had to make logos for our class, and so I decided I would to a hour glass because, and I quote, “to represent my dwindling patience.”
[If the grains sift coarsely through the hour glass. And collect like their victims in the bowl. The ungodly force of change erodes all sense of earthly gains. While tending to the mundane will terrorize your soul.]
This necklace is hand made with death and time in mind this piece is inspired by Greek God Thanatos and the Norse Goddess Hel. This Prayer Beads has a semi Hour Glass pendant that is timed at only a few seconds. This necklace is also inspired by the Angel of Death Azrael. This piece is made with Garnet, Onyx and Howlite and tarnish resistant wire, resistant not proof so please keep in mind when cleaning.
This piece is long enough to slip over your head, no clasp needed but I can add one if you want, please message me right after purchase or leave it in notes.
While support my small business you also support other small businesses which I buy from. This includes a local Native American bead vendor and an elder mom and pops shop. Thank you so much for choosing my designs.
Someone recently brought it up to me that they were curious what Clockwork would look like in my Eldritch AU and I felt inspired so here you go! I wanted him to seem truly ancient which is why I went for a sundial/hour glass aesthetic. I imagine his tower even looks like a giant hour glass too with the Sands of Time eternally sifting though the glass with gears rotating through it. His beard and spectral tail are also sand-like and make it seem as if Clockwork is crumbling into dust which actually isn't the case at all. And lastly, instead of a staff Clockwork uses the sun dial in his chest to manipulate time.
Clockwork still uses gear portals of course to show visions of the past, present, and future, but like I said I imagine apart from the main structure the rest of the scenery is in constant motion. It shows cities being built, abandoned, then lost to time until they actually do turn to dust because that's the source of the tower's power. Whenever something is entirely forgotten by the world be it a place, a language, a story, a person, and so on those memories become part of the Sands of Time that Clockwork watches over...
Basically it looks a lot like Eris's domain in the Sinbad movie except for the fact its all inside of a giant hour glass with tons of gears churning the sand.
