Respectfully WHAT is happening in the house episode ur watching... My knowledge of the premise of the show is crumbling at the seams.. tho u have intrigued me with all the talk of those old men 😳
i have no idea when u sent this so i have no idea what episode u could be asking abt but i can assure u that what is happening in any given episode is the most insane shit in the entire world. wilson broke into house's home thru his window bc he wasnt answering his phone . rsl fucking 'no'd again and it killed me irl like literally stabbed me. the team saved a cannibalistic serial killer while house got high off his mind and married a random woman after like 2 days of knowing her. pls dont watch this show its so awful i cant be responsible for all that

He looks good with kids.
Bucky x female!reader
Warnings: Kids. Jk, none, pure fluff.
Summary: Yn heart can't love more Bucky, but it can when she sees him with kids.
A/N: I gave a warning that i wanted to just write about domestic/Dad bucky. Is just the first of a thousand of bucky's fic's :)
Tumblr media
You arrived with your hand holding Bucky's.
"Aunt yn!" a little girl ran to you.
“Hey mor!” you let go of Bucky´s hand and hold the little girl. “how is my princess doing?”
“I dont want to be a princess anymore!” she said with a frown, you put her down.
“Why?” you tried to not laugh.
“Because if i want to be a queen, im gonna have to get married... with a...” she made a long pause, trying to say the next words. “boy! ew!” she said with a repulsive expression.
that was something you loved about the kids, their honesty, saying everything uncensored, you saw Bucky trying not to laugh next to you. “Morgan, say hi to Bucky, dont be rude.”
“Hi, Mr Barnes.” she was shy, and added a little wave, without leaving your side.
“Call me Bucky.” he winked at her, which made the girl blush, who could blame her?.
she nodded and then her mother appeared “Morg, go play.” the little girl obey and got inside the house. “Im so glad you could make it” she greeted huging you and gave your boyfriend a warm and friendly handshake. “But please come in”.
you took Bucky´s hand again, and got inside the house, it was such a warm and really normal and familiar house, you wouldnt guess it was Tony Stark place, it wasnt a big mansion as he used to, it didnt have any  technology gadget, and they had a yard, more like a yard it was a private forest, where all the avengers were.
“Im going to say hi to Natasha” you said, seeing her in the distance.
“Ok, i´ll go with Steve and Sam.” you nodded, Bucky kissed your cheek and headed to Natasha.
“Hey you!” your friend hugged you with one arm, cause she was holding a two month baby on her free arm, her daughter “Hey Thea, im your aunt, yn.”
the baby girl smiled at hearing your voice. “Can i hold her?”
“Of course!” she handed you the baby, when you took her in your arms, Nat sat down, glad that her arms could rest for a while. “Where´s Bucky?”
“Over there with your husband and Sam”
“It´s dangerous when they get together” you chuckled, giving her the reason, the baby start to cry. “Oh, let me”
“No,Nat, i can, dont cry Thea.” you rocked her and started singing to her. “ Hey Dorothea
Do you ever stop and think about me?
When we were younger
Down in the park”
“Doesnt she looks gorgeous with kids?” Bucky asked his two friends, they rolled their eyes.
“Uncle Bucky!” a boy approached.
“Hey kids!” they high five, smiling, it were AJ and Cass wilson, Sam nephews.
“Did you brought us what we asked for?” the soldier nodded, they went to his car, where he let out some water guns.
“Cool, thank you!” the younger one hugged his uncle and ran after his brother.
“JAMES BUCHANAN BARNES!” Sarah shouted at him, oops. “WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?, YOU GAVE MY BOYS WATER GUNS!"
Nat noticed bucky´s scared face while Sarah continued shouting at him. “Yn, your boyfriend is in trouble.”
“What?” you turned to see Bucky in the entrance. “I´ll be back.” you gave her Thea, and walked. “What´s going on?”
“James gave my kids water guns!”
your eyes opened surprised. “Why?, Bucky what...?”
“They asked me to, they texted me!” he said innocent.
“If something happens, they are your kids” Sarah said at Bucky and left, she was a good mom, she wanted what was best for her kids.
you went to sit with Bucky, saying hi to Thor and Jane, until three little girls, Morgan Stark, Cassie Lang and the younger who was Alice Quill walked there. “Auntie yn, can you come play with us?” Morgan said with a small pout.
“I´ll love it, but im going to help Sam, Sarah and Vision, to get the food ready.
“I can play with you.” Bucky said letting go of your hand. “If you want to.”
the three girls looked at you, where you just nodded. “Go, he is funny!” your boyfriend got up and walked. Morgan took the initiative and took Bucky´s hand.
“So, prince, which is your first decrete?” Cassie Lang said laughing, it been thirty minutes and the girls were comfortable now with the ex soldier, hugging him, holding his hands.
“That i get a bigger crown.” he took his princess crown off, which was hurting him, making the three girls laugh.
“Hands up! We are taking him”  The older Wilson said, pointing with his water gun.
“He is our prince, you cant take him.” The little Quill said, trying hard to hold to Bucky.
“We can!” Billy Maximoff said, he took A.J gun and got Bucky back wet.
‘i see why Sarah hated me for the water guns’ bucky thought to himself.
The boys were shooting water to the girls, and them throwing grass and toys, your boyfriend got up and tried to run.
“He is leaving!” Billy said, and all ran after him, you wouldnt guess that the weight of 7 kids could make a super soldier fall to the ground.
“Is little yn in love?” a girl voice said, Carol Danvers.
“Hey, Danvers” you turned and hugged her. “How are you?”
you started catching up, she telling you stories about the space, once in a while you turned to see Bucky in the ‘jail’, that was a playpen, where all the kids put him.
“You know his wife, will come to rescue him, right?” Morgan said to A.J while having a tea party.
“What wife?”
“Yn, duh.” she said as it was the only option.
“They arent married” the boy said.
“yes they are.” A.J just shooked his head.
“Kids, the food is ready!” Sam shouted and the kids ran, Bucky got up from the playpen  that they took from Thea, he approached you.
“I was expecting you to come to my rescue"he said resting his chin on your neck.
"Oh no, did you saw them? They had guns" you teased him, turning around to see him.
"Yn! You can stop time!" He said like a little kid, maybe an hour with 7 seven kids was more than enough.
"Here, you hamburger" You just said handing him the plate, with the bun and meat.
"Thank you, where we'll sit?"
You looked around searching for an empty table. "There" you pointed. "I was thinking of telling Sarah and Sam to sit with us".
Your boyfriend nodded, and taking your hand, you walked to the table, you were going to start eating when three girls approached the table.
"Aunt...yn... Can we, sit here?" Morgan Stark said shy, with Cassie and Alice by her side.
"Uh..." You looked at your boyfriend who with his look, he told you it was fine. "Sure, come."
"Guys, they said yes!" Morgan shouted and four more kids appeared.
"i thought it was only you three" Bucky said, trying not to laugh.
They sat, Morgan between you and Bucky, the food was delicious, and the kids were a good company. Bucky went for Soda, and coming back to his place he kissed your cheek, making you blush.
"I told you they are married!" Morgan said to A.J, biting her food.
"W-what?" You almost choke with the soda.
"Morgan thinks you two are married, but I've been telling her, you are just boyfriend and girlfriend" A.J said tired of the same argument.
"We are not married, sweetie" you cleared to the little Stark, who frown her eyebrows, confused.
"Then, why you kiss?, My mom and dad told me only married people do that." She looked at you, waiting for an answer, she was really confused, Bucky just smiled a bit.
"Because...umm..." You made a pause thinking what to answer, all the kids look where on you in that moment.
"We are going to get married, we're engaged." Bucky finally said, the most serious he could, not making notice it was a lie.
"When?" Cassie asked excited.
"Soon, in a few years, right yn?" You nodded, you let out a relief sigh, until two boys voices started arguing.
"Hey, Billy, Tommy, what is going on?"
"He took my chips without asking!" Tommy answered, looking at his brother wanting to kill him.
"But Tommy doesn't wants to share!" They started arguing again.
"Don't fight. Billy, we asked for things, and Tommy we have to share" they rolled their eyes, knowing their were being scolded. "Now Tommy, apologize"
"B-but."
"Tommy!" You looked at him, really serious. He took air and apologize, same with Billy. "Now both of you, go for more chips." They got up and murmuring they said something like 'she acted just like mom'
The food time was over, you and Bucky played hide and seek with the kids, when it was the soldiers turn to found you, Alice was the only one who hided with you, but when you had to find them, you knew wherever was Bucky you'll find at least a fifty percent of the kids. The time passed quickly hiding, and laughing.
"Who wants dessert?" Pepper said to the kids, whose eyes opened wide.
"Come on, Uncle Bucky!" Morgan took one hand of his and Cassie another, and walked together, but Alice started to cry.
"Um, Buck, you left something here." You said while Alice was on your arms.
"Sorry, baby, come on" he pointed his back with his head, and you put the little girl there. "Hold on tight" She did, putting her little arms around Bucky neck, while walking to the food area.
Once they got their dessert, including Bucky, all went to sit and start playing charades, you only heard kids real laughs, making you smile.
"Kids, why don't you go for yn?, she loves to play this, but it's to shy" Billy and Cassie nodded and went to grab you while you were with Tony and Steve.
"Come play with us, aunt yn!" Both making a pout. "Uncle Bucky said you like to play!"
"He did?" You gave a killing look to the blue eyed man, who just lift his shoulders innocent. "Fine, let's go"
You left Tony and Steve, and went play, you sat next to Bucky, his arm around your shoulders, that pose didn't last, because when you got up to play, Morgan took your place next to Bucky. 'Oh, so Bucky is the new favorite' you thought seeing him surrounded by all of them.
The day was over, after saying bye to Gamora, Quill and Alice, you helped Pepper to clean a bit.
"You know something, yn?" She said serious.
"Mhm?" You were picking up the plates and cups.
"All this afternoon, i saw a girl with Bucky, you should be more careful."
A girl? Which girl? All of the avengers girls were taken, you thought for a few seconds, but no one came to your mind, until Pepper told you to turn, where it was your boyfriend and the girl who wanted to steal him, Morgan, watching the Sunset, she was in his arms, one arm on his neck, while he was talking to her, not being to able hear, but seeing him with kids, to see his sweet and soft side made your heart melt.
"So, you see, the sun loves the moon so much, he goes to let her shine for hours." The girl's eye opened wide at the story.
"Morgan, they have to go." Her mother said walking to her.
"Stay to sleep, please?" Morgan said with a pout, without letting go of Bucky.
"We are going to stay at the Roger's, baby girl." You told her, which made her sad. "But, if you behave, we can make a sleepover next week at my place!"
Her eyes shined, and a smile appeared. "Really?"
"Of course, beautiful, but you have to be nice, ok?" Your boyfriend told the little girl putting her down.
"Mom, he calls me beautiful! He doesn't calls yn that" she tried to whisper but failed, Pepper just nodded, taking her hand, getting inside of the house"Bye guys." Morgan shouted before entering the house.
"what?" Your boyfriend noticed you looking at him.
"nothing..." You chuckled softly, and got into the Rogers car.
A few days later.
You were making breakfast, when your phone rang, the contact name was Tony Stark, it was a FaceTime. What if something had happened to him? Was he okay? You answered nervous, but when the camera opened, you saw Morgan, making you feel relieved.
"Hey Morgan!" You greeted her.
"Hi, aunt yn!" You could tell her she was trying to see the house, looking for something. "Are you alone?"
"Yes?"you said confused" But one friend is coming over."
"Oh, is not uncle Bucky there?" You chuckled, of course she wanted to see her 'uncle'.
"No sweetie" you shook your head, making Morgan eyes sad. "He went to help uncle Sam with something, he'll be back at night."
"Oh okay, I'll call him then! Bye." You were going to talk but she hang up.
The night came and your boyfriend went to your place to say hi and having dinner.
While eating dinner, you said to him about the morning call.
"I received a weird call today"
"What?, From who?" He asked looking up from his dumplings.
"A girl you know." You said serious, like you were mad.
"come on yn, it was Wanda? Or Carol, or Natasha?" You shook your head.
"Morgan Stark" He laughed.
"Wait, why?"
"She wanted to talk to you, you should call her" your look went back to your noodles.
"Are you jealous that she prefers me?" He teased you, making you laugh.
"No..."
"Yes, you are." He pointed his fork at you, making you let out a good laugh.
"Just call Morgan!" You said playing you were angry, after dinner he did, you heard how Morgan told him all about school, and her toys, and dolls, all that she could ever think about, and he was paying attention, gasping every minute about something she said or showed.
Your heart melted again. 'He looks so good with kids'.

Title: 'if the rain where to come, would it wash us away?' Steggy? Thanks 😊
A slow burn fic.
If there was one good thing to come out of being forced to marry not only so young but being married to Jack Thompson, it would be Jack's best friend and work buddy Steve Rogers. It wasn't Peggys decision to marry Jack, a decision that was made for her before she was even born. Something about family and money. That's what her family prepared her for her whole life meanwhile her elder brother got to live his life.
It wasn't without remorse. Michael did feel for his little sister but he could only help so much.
Steve lived in America and on the few rare times they visited America, Steve would be there. He'd show her around Brooklyn, his home, their weird customs while Jack was too lazy or buried into work to bother. Steve saw her as a parson and not some symbol for money or just a pretty face. He engaged her in deep conversations and battled her on wits.
It was safe to say they became rather close even when Peggy was forced to return home to London with Jack.
Steve would visit often for work but it wasnt often enough and she wasnt as free here as she was in America and thankfully Steve saw that.
Peggy was nothing more than arm candy to Jack. A pretty face that's supposed to be a traditional woman and stay home and care for him while he worked. And nothing got under Peggy's skin more than Jacks 'expectations' of hers. He wasn't the only one. Her parents too.
It all came to an ugly head when Peggy found out she was pregnant. Her heart dropping straight to her stomach when the doctor uttered those words. It made her fully realize that this life with Jack and forced into a role she did not want to play was not how she wanted to live.
That's why that very night, Peggy used her neighbor Angie's phone to call her estranged brother to fly her to America.
She had no money [she didnt want anything traced back to her and knowing Jack hed say she stole it], no job, nothing to her name but a bag of clothes that Angie gave her.
Michael helped where he could - giving her a passport and what money he could. It was a bitter reunion but one the brother was happy to have and see Peggy make a choice for herself.
Even if it would put a further wedge between them and their parents. They needed this freedom.
Michael insisted on getting Peggy a hotel room for the night but no. She knew where she wanted to go. Steve's apartment.
Steve was to say the least surprised to see Peggy Carter standing on his doorstep at 4 in the morning.
He ushered her inside and instantly started to mother hen her, fawning over her until he asked, "Did he hurt you?"
That's what broke Peggy down like a stab to the gut. Steve held her while she cried and explained everything. How her life was chosen for her before she was born and groomed from birth to marry Jack and be this proper woman in this day and age. How Jack wasnt abusive persay not in a physical manner but he was neglectful and made Peggy seem less like a person.
She wasnt allowed to work to get a degree and now...now she ran away to the one person who made her see sense because she was pregnant.
Steve didnt judge. He loved on her and calmed her down. He didnt question anymore, letting Peggy cry it out.
The next morning they discussed everything. Steve hadn't slept a bit, giving Peggy his room to sleep in. He had already contacted several divorce lawyers for her, Michael had called him and he'd already talked to their parents and how they were to not have contact with Peggy anymore.
Steve had also gotten her an appointment for an obgyn today too and already looking to get furniture.
It might be the pregnancy hormones but she was weeping already.
Jack tries to demand Peggy back like she was a prize to be won. He even threatened to say Steve had kidnapped her.
Eventually the divorce lawyers get through and the day that shes divorced, Peggy cries for 3 hours straight. Steve comes home from work to see her crying and the email on her computer [that he got her]. He cries with her because this amazing, beautiful woman is free to live her life.
Peggy later learns she's an at risk pregnancy where she has to be super careful and Steve dotes over her. She hates and loves it at the sametime.
She watches him build the baby furniture and paint the nursery. He turns his childhood home into a baby-loving palace. Every night he rubs her feet and rubs her belly and talks to the child.
When she learns the sex is a girl, Peggy tells Steve one night that she's naming her Sarah. Sarah Elizabeth after Steve's mother. It makes Steve tear up and come to realize he loves her.
The pregnancy forces them to get to know one another. The good. The bad. The ugly. The bad habits. The good habits. The tears. The frustrations. The fights.
Peggy learns more about herself too like how she wanted to go into journalism and how Steve was a beautiful artist but sucked at cooking.
She learned later 3 weeks away from birth that her Visa is running out and she'll be forced to go to America until Steve proposes the idea they get married.
Itll give baby Sarah protection and her and Peggy doesnt hesitate to say yes.
Unfortunately, baby Sarah decides right then ans there is a good time to be born.
She's forced to give birth in a court house with Steve holding her hand and emt Wilson guiding her through a painful birth but its all worth it when they see a beautiful baby girl with bright hazel eyes and tuffs of blonde hair.
They slowly fall in love with each other and baby Sarah.
Its not easy and their life is far from easy with Jack still hounding them but the Carter household too.
Theres no way Peggy could return to her old life. Not when she has everything she could ever want here.

Charles Manson, cult leader and convicted murderer, dies aged 83
Manson and his family became notorious for the murder of Sharon Tate and six others during the summer of 1969
Charles Manson, the pseudo-satanic sociopath behind a string of killings that shocked California out of its late 1960s cultural reverie, died on Sunday after almost a half century in prison.
The 83-year-old, who died of natural causes, had been serving multiple life sentences in state prison in Corcoran, California, for orchestrating the violence in 1969 that claimed the lives of Sharon Tate, the heavily pregnant wife of film director Roman Polanski, and six others.
While his death prompted the inevitable and renewed questioning around why his grim notoriety had been so enduring, Michele Hanisee, president of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys for Los Angeles County, said: Today, Mansons victims are the ones who should be remembered and mourned on the occasion of his death.
She went on to quote the late Vincent Bugliosi, the prosecutor who put Manson behind bars, who had said: Manson was an evil, sophisticated conman with twisted and warped moral values.
Quick Guide
A quick guide to Charles Manson
Show Hide
Who was Charles Manson?
Charles Mansonwasone of the most notorious murderers of the 20th century. Heleda cult known as the Manson Family in California, most of whom were disaffected young women. Some became killers under his messianic influence.
Murder from afar
Despite spending more than 40 years in prison for the murders of seven people in 1969,Manson did not carry out the killings.Insteadhe convincedmembers of his familyto murder. One of their victims was the actor Sharon Tate, who was married to Roman Polanski and was more than eight months’ pregnant when she was killed.
Celebrity friends
By the time of histrial in 1971, Manson hadspent half of his life in correctional institutions forvarious crimes. He became a singer-songwriter before the Tate murders andgot a break in the music industry when he metBeach Boys’ Dennis Wilson, who let him crash at his home.
Helter Skelter
It is believed that Manson intended using the murders to incite an apocalyptic race war he called Helter Skelter, taking the name from the Beatles song.
Notorious by name
Thekillings and the seven-month trial that followed were the subjects of fevered news coveragein the US.Manson occupieda dark, persistent place in American culture, inspiring music, T-shirts and half the stage name of musicianMarilyn Manson.

Thank you for your feedback.
As the leader of a cult known as the Manson Family, Manson had instructed his followers, made up mostly of disaffected young women, to carry out the killings. The brutality of the murders set Los Angeles on edge, and ended the sunny optimism of the 60s counterculture and its aspirations to a new society built on peace and love. Manson presented himself as a demonic force: at trial, he carved a Nazi swastika into his forehead.
The five received the death penalty but were spared when capital punishment was temporarily abolished following a ruling by the supreme court in 1972.
Manson and three female followers, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel and Leslie Van Houten, were convicted of murder and conspiracy to murder. Another defendant, Charles Tex Watson, was convicted later.
Tate, the wife of Polanski, who was out of the country the night of her murder, was eight and a half months pregnant when Mansons followers broke into her home in Los Angeles. They stabbed and shot Tate and her visitors, Jay Sebring, Voytek Frykowski, coffee heiress Abigail Folger and Steven Parent. The word Pig was written in blood on the front door. Tate, who had starred in The Valley of the Dolls, was stabbed 16 times, and an X was carved into her stomach.
The next night, his followers murdered couple Leno and Rosemary LaBianca.
Although the followers committed the murders, Manson had ordered them. At the LaBianca home, he tied up the couple before leaving others to carry out the killings.
After his death on Sunday night, Tates sister Debra told NBC: One could say Ive forgiven them, which is quite different than forgetting what they are capable of. It is for this reason I fight so hard to make sure that each of these individuals stays in prison until the end of their natural days.
In the 2004 book Sharon Tate Recollection, Polanski wrote: Even after so many years, I find myself unable to watch a spectacular sunset or visit a lovely old house or experience visual pleasure of any kind without instinctively telling myself how much she would have loved it all.
Prosecutors at the time said Manson and his cult were trying to spark a race war that he believed was foretold in the Beatles song Helter Skelter, and hoped the Black Panthers would be blamed for the killings.
Before the murders, Manson spent most of his teens and 20s in and out of prison, and he later became a singer-songwriter. He got a break in the music industry when he met the Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson. The group later recorded Never Learn Not to Love, which Manson had written.

He became friends with the Byrds producer Terry Melcher (the son of Doris Day) and even recorded 13 folksy songs for an album that eventually was titled Lie: The Love and Terror Cult; it was released in March 1970 to help pay for his defense.
Manson had established himself as a would-be cult leader in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. He took a handful of followers, some of whom would later be convicted in the killings, to the old Spahn Movie Ranch north of LA and turned it into a hedonistic commune.
Van Houten, the youngest member of the original Manson Family, later said that Manson had used sex, LSD, Bible readings, repeated playing of the Beatles White Album and rambling lectures about triggering a revolution to brainwash her.
Van Houten, 68, was convicted of the killings of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. She was recommended for parole in September but Californias governor, Jerry Brown, has yet to approve the recommendation. He rejected an earlier decision, concluding that Van Houten posed an unreasonable danger to society if released from prison.
In June, officials denied a parole request by Krenwinkel, the states longest-serving female prisoner, after her attorney said she had been abused by Manson or another person. She has been denied parole multiple times in the past.
Mansons lawyer, Irving Kanarek, claimed his client was innocent during a 2014 interview with the Guardian. No question he was legally innocent. And, more than that, he was actually innocent, Kanarek said, arguing that there was no evidence connecting him to the case.
At a 2012 parole hearing, which was denied, Manson was quoted as having said to one of his prison psychologists: Im special. Im not like the average inmate. I have spent my life in prison. I have put five people in the grave. I am a very dangerous man.
According to the LA Times, Manson committed hundreds of rules violations while being held at the Corcoran state prison, including assault, repeated possession of a weapon and threatening staff. Officials said he has spat in guards faces, started fights, tried to cause a flood and set his mattress ablaze.
In 2014, Manson and Afton Elaine Burton, a 26-year-old Manson devotee, were granted a marriage license, but it expired before the two could marry. She had faithfully visited him in prison for seven years. Manson had been denied parole 12 times, with his next hearing set for 2027.
His death is unlikely to end interest in his crimes. Quentin Tarantino is believed to be preparing a film that uses the murders as a backdrop for its main plot, and an adaptation of Emma Clines bestselling 2016 novel, The Girls, is on the way.
Writer Joan Didion interviewed Linda Kasabian, the Manson family member who acted as a lookout in the Tate and LaBianca killings and later gave evidence at the trial, and described the atmosphere in Hollywood in an essay from her collection The White Album (1979).
Everything was unmentionable but nothing was unimaginable Didion wrote. A demented and seductive vortical tension was building in the community. The jitters were setting in. I recall a time when the dogs barked every night and the moon was always full.
I remember that no one was surprised.
Reached at home in Manhattan, Didion, 82, told the Guardian: Mansons legacy was never obvious to me. It wasnt obvious when I went to talk with Linda Kasabian, and it isnt obvious to me now. But I do find it easy to put him from my mind.
In 2008, California officials ordered the search of a deserted ranch in Death Valley where Manson and his family briefly resided. The search turned up no evidence of human remains.
Manson may be gone but the persistence of his dark vision endures. I am crime, he proclaimed in a telephone call to the New York Post from prison in the mid-2000s.

Future Wife
So maybe about 5 years ago when we were sitting around the dinner table at my uncles house, my family was teasing my brother about his love life. "If I can't find anyone, it's ok, my dad will get one for me from Cambodia." It sounded like a joke and sent my dad laughing. Lo and behold, this past weekend my dad introduced a Cambodian girl to my brother. "She's a nice girl. She has a nice family. She looks like she doesn't mess around. She can take care of you." My dad's requirements for a wife seemed simple enough. "There are a lot of girls but not many can be wives," he told my brother. Last Wednesday, my dad told my brother to keep his Saturday free, no reason given. I was confused when I heard because my dad just described it as his friends coming down to visit from San Francisco. Why was he getting my brother involved, I questioned. On saturday, my dad asked my grandma and me to join the dinner as well. Ehhh, wasn't really in the mood to go but I went anyway. There were 11 people (2 kids) on their side and 5 of us. We sat at a big table at a Chinese restaurant. The girls uncles were very interested in meeting Marvin again but it seemed I was invisible to them. They kept asking him questions and getting to know them while his wife was sitting quietly to the side and smiling when appropriate. After about 3 hours of talking, drinking, being crazy, they decided on Sunday's plan. The group of 11 would be split to 3. One group, with all the older people, would go have noodles and chill in long Beach. The other group with kids would go do their thing. The girl would hang out with marvin. But wait. I need to chaperone them because her aunt is uncomfortable letting her be alone with a stranger dude. There goes my Sunday plans. My dad told me "help your brother out". That night, I asked my brother what his thoughts were on the situation. All he could do was shrug and say I don't know. I asked him if he even wanted to go and he gave me a shrug. I got a little upset because I'm giving up my day for him and have to take care of the logistics (my dad didn't trust him with planning the day). I felt as if I was going to have to go on a date myself through my brothers body. And because he acted so apathetic, it felt like all the work was on me. He even told me that he didn't want to drive and rather us take the bus.... I was like bitch, I'm not driving either. Anyway, Sunday was cool. We got din Tai fung for brunch and walked around at the mall. Wilson came along so that made it loads more fun. After the mall, I wasnt feeling well. I said I wanted to stay home and let them go to santa Monica themselves. I was surprised by how proactive my brother was that day. He didn't make a fuss about driving, he took care of the bills, he seemed somewhat outgoing, he tried making conversations. The day was nice. She's 22 and my brother is 27. My brothers thoughts after the date, "so.. Dad wants me to get married and have kids. I'm thinking whether liking someone is important in this situation." I told him, well arranged marriages work, if you two have a similar goal of making it work, I'm sure it'll work out. But I told him to think about it long term. Once you get a girl or wife you're gonna be spending a lot of your time on and with her. You won't get the luxury of dropping off the face of the earth. Yeah I don't know either bro...
