It Had To Be You

Before I get into my big explaining rant, reblogs are very much appreciated! I know this is usually a rant blog but when I spend so long on a drawing I want to have people see it and stare at it like I do LOL

Also for the ALT text, a lot of the details are going to be explained below so if you’d like extra details please read!

So, my designs! I really hate Husk’s design; as in I hate drawing it. It’s too red and tiny for me, Husk is very orange and round to me, he’s like a really chubby cat that you flip over in the bed and smack their belly and kiss em. He also kinda reminds me of Tigerstar from Warriors but like if he was a more morally correct person. Kind of. I removed all of the red from Husk and replaced it with little motifs of orange and brown like in his ears, his eyebrows, wings, and the little patch on his snout. For his wings I tried to base them around a Brown Thrasher because they fit the colour I needed and they’re very defensive birds which is a trait I’d like to see in Husk more. Seeing him protecting others with his wings in Episode 8 was a very cute touch and I want more of that. Oh and the little orange bit on his snout was based on one of my old cats named Whiskey and I thought that was fitting cause yknow. Whiskey. 🥃. Also it’s cute!

Part of Husk’s orange colouration also falls under some inspiration I received from @bluehazardanonymous whom you may see on my blog again. But they sent me a very interesting colour chart and it made my brain go funny

Husk’s design has a lot of orange, yellow, and small hints of red like his undone bowtie and hat band/ace of hearts card. The orange for gluttony is mostly related to alcohol and such, meanwhile the yellow in his eyes, shirt patch, and on the button on his hat are to show greed from things like gambling and possible leftovers from being an overlord. I don’t think you can just go from being all powerful to some random bartender and NOT have some kind of thirst for power right???? That also bleeds into the red parts (haha cause blood red) to keep his design on the warm side and have a little bit of anger in there.

His clothes are also supposed to look a bit sloppy and kinda sad cause I mean. He is. But they are also all relatively formal items of clothing. By the way I’m never drawing this guy shirtless, sorry you need to beg and pay for that/j

Now for Angel. With Angel being pink-ish and how I usually draw the rest of Hell, I try to make Hell more gross looking and greenish/sickly, generally unpleasant, so that Angel is more eye catching and pops out more like a celebrity would. A lot of the cast in my head is more orange/maroon coloured, not a lot of pink or salmon colours. Of course pink is under lust on the colour wheel, but I personally don’t like chalking Angel up to just his job, nor do i really like using “true” pink. I always keep him in this range:

Also that white is not for him it’s for other things, I always make him a cream-ish colour. I like pink with red undertones always, especially for Angel. It shows his job very blatantly if you take a simple glance at him, but if you’re nuts like me and colour pick from these that I use, you’ll see a lot of them are closer to red, rather than the bright pink-ish-purple colour for lust. And also closer to his original more purple design!

I think it goes without saying that Angel has a lot of pent up anger and frustration that he hides with his persona and humour, and I think trying to show some of that in his colours is a lot more interesting than just haha pink gay spider. I dunno.

Also I thought these little cowlick flip thingies on the side were really cute

I was originally going to make the sign in the back purple since that’s usually the colour of most XXX signs in Hazbin, but the yellow makes everything else look a lot more dingy and gross while still being bright and I love that. Also the yellow is kind of a shallow jab of my own at the adult entertainment industry, a lot of this stuff is just people being exploited for money but I will go on a tangent about this if I don’t shift topic!! Anyway. A lot of the background isn’t super visible, but based on the colours I was kinda going for a more envy & wrath & greed section of the pride ring. Just seems like a good place to smoke. The rain doesn’t hold much symbolism to it but it is there to make the area seem more unpleasant. Yknow how it rains sometimes and the sewage in the street comes up? Like that.

Im really happy with a bunch of stuff in this art. 10 hours, 184+ layers, and 11751 strokes is probably the most I have ever done for.. anything????? Even if you don’t like the art I hope you appreciate the long rant LOL

Wednesday Update!

The last of my set of three Monster Hunter 3D Fan thingies!

This time it's the Felyne Acorn Spade - one of the weapons your Palicos either start with or you can make for them early. I enjoy that that's just the aesthetic that was decided for our little cat-goblin friends' arms and armor. Plants and acorns.

Even though this is the first 3D project from my fancy new computer that isn't a relic from a bygone-era - I made this with the same workflow as the Hammer and Jawblade. Breakdown drawing of all the parts and how I might model/UV them, then "low-ish" poly model made in Maya, then hand-painted in Photoshop and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. It was pretty interesting to use two monitors for the first time. Took a while to get used to it.

hmmmm im ngl the trailer itself as a like prelude to what is coming in 5.0 intrigue and plot wise is like. compared to the region teasers that came before w lazzo and overture. its just. its kinda bad im sorry KWKJKWDJKWDJK like okay cool seeing the new cast and production value is high as always (+ music) but its such a middling teaser for the story itself?? it feels like a powerpoint presentation of the cast more than anything narratively coherent with an inherent draw and mystery

like theres mavuika speaking to the flame thingy (xbalanque that u? "one entombed in the primal fire" perhaps????) with some intrigue i suppose as well as her brief thing w capitano. ororon also appearing to be working together or aligned with capitano given theyre standing together there which could make for an interesting plot thread but beyond that its very.... eh. its not giving us a lot to grip onto ya know???? and thats rly a shame especially since i also felt that way abt the teaser in the 4.8 livestream. i wish we got more

and sure theres a tournament wahoo but like. its really Not helping to hype up that thing when half the introduced cast isnt being like "OMG the tournament!!!!1!1 this is HUGE!!!1" (or even. "oh no this is BAD!!!1" to set up basic conflict. like why would they dread it?) but instead just. "oh right... the tournament 🙄🙄" like who thought that was a good idea 😭😭 if the PEOPLE of natlan dgaf abt the big plot event happening then how am i as the viewer supposed to feel majorly invested in it . wow theyre tossing a ball around . wow nobody wants it guess ur tournament is having a bit of a PR issue in the making mavuika lmao

anyway i wouldnt even call myself a true capitano glazer despite being a fatuiHQ enjoyer on the side but like. that hmph still carried welcome capHIMpeaktano truly o7 JWDJWDJKDWJK also did yall see the. anemo-ish turquoise flare when mavuika is confronting (?) him? wonder if thats a thing with her flames or is it implying cap as anemo or sth.... i think itd fit him decent enough but ya. looking forward to HIM for sure

character design wise uhhhh. well theres the obvious huge fucking issue here and while id say that hoyo p much already showed their true colors on the matter with sumeru that doesnt rly. make it any less disappointing and egregious wrt all the cultures and peoples theyre So willing to gather inspiration from in all possible aspects Other than the diversity of the people themselves. like its just... bad and such a shame but also not very surprising unfortunately.

(and really it just. looks especially bad given they clearly Can put melanin on people its just... enemy mobs only.)

beyond that i kind of dont have anyone that super catches my eye rn??? mainly because . well leaks moment eek but its basically official info now so basically. xilonens existence as a geo and a 5* (which like . u dont need leaks to guess she will be im sorry jdwjdw) was leaked a bit ago as well as the patch she should appear meaning. im actually in chiori rerun savings mode since its very high chance that she will be back w xilonen if anyone. so thats my plan for now kjdwjkdwjkdwjk

in terms of the actual cast i do like kinich and ororons designs v much, the design motifs of the latter especially are interesting bc those eye-like patterns are almost giving quantum symbol (= black hole imagery) to me???? and thats V interesting especially if hes actually working w capitano and the fatui. now him being a cat boy or whatever animals ears those turn out to be isnt like sth thats huge for Me personally but i do think hes valid and also W for anyone whos into that, congrats guys im happy for u ! but like fr itd be such an insane twist if hoyos Finally introducing the void quantum abyss whatever element w him (and maybe cap too.) bc that symbol Rly is looking Curious. or then hes just electro lol. for kinich its like. yeah fair he might be xiao-tighnari-gaming from minecraft ill admit that but. i do like the color scheme and his outfit a lot JKWJKDJKDWJKD so like i forgive it

w the girlies i overall find them all like. quite nice but so far without any personality + lore known its hard to settle my complete thoughts on them just yet. tho citlali being pink is super refreshing for genshin since we do have a shocking absence of it so like shes definitely one im drawn to, chasca looks interesting and like she could play a bigger part plot wise (maybe?) so that might be neat. both her and citlali being cryo is kinda surprising?? but cool. maybe ill get to unbench my shenhe and play some cryo teams again lmao freeze has been dead in abyss for so long now....

xilonen again w the kemomimi isnt sth im particularly into or not into but she looks cool, depending on personality and how her kit synergies turn out (+ assuming the chiori rerun, the fate of those pulls too), i might try for her as well? theres an Energy to her i like it. if she has proper Attitude and flair thats gonna be a massive bonus for me

mualani i think is rather bland to me, sth about her outfit and design just doesnt click for me even if the shark thing from the teaser before is neat and everything. the chibis are never sth im actively drawn to but like both do look okay, im kinda hoping kachina could be a lynette moment for 5.x and end up a free 4* since her exploration roomba looks p fun

anyway then theres. mavuika and i. well at least the design wasnt. That concept art one (ThoseWhoKnow...) . so instant massive W improvement solely on that basis holy fucking shit but ehhhhh im sorry i still dont know how to feel abt the very modern like. biker bodysuit thingy. im not a huge fan of the bodysuit type designs anyway so its not that surprising but still. her eyes + hair is absolutely stunning tho like not a question at all.

tbh in a way i kinda feel like having too many Thoughts on her design is kinda just unnecessary bc like. shes the archon. of Course the kit is going to be insane so i will get her anyway (UNLESS a pyro onfielder JKWJKJKWJKWJKWFKJ like god please no). and in terms of like is her design and energy from what this vid is giving us good enough that i wont like. Actively resent having to get her for meta and strong teams??? Absolutely. so in that sense ig its all cool lmao

but yeah. idk i just think as a teaser for the upcoming story its rly a shame how weak this felt for me???? like sure overture ended up being a bit of a misleading teaser since it gave the impression of arle as this mastermind of the fontaine AQ which didnt rly happen but it still served as a source of hype and intrigue. and yes lazzo is sth that can Never rly be beat in terms of how out of nowhere it was and how fucking insane the whole harbinger reveal went (+ elogia cinerosa existing) for lore and long term hype but its just. unfortunately those 2 are the regional teasers this natlan one is supposedly meant to parallel and it just didnt deliver anything comparable to those for me

like still looking forward to natlan and seeing the rest of its cast (like im fairly convinced the flame thingy might be xbalanque and hes gonna be a big deal ultimately or sth) and where it goes and all its environments but this trailer didnt rly. grip me the way i wouldve expected it to. which is unfortunate kdjkdwjkwjkdwj but yea thats all

AU thingy [Soon with drawings!]

I am thinking of making a blog solely about my Fnaf AU, where there are two people who are Dimensional travellers and have an angst-comfort Willry kind of relationship dynamic where one of them (Lucille) doesn't like the other (Oscar) because he's an Afton kind of person (which she can see as he changes appearances because it is part of a curse she has on her because of her ex-friend). [I'll explain how the dimensional travellers and travelling works in the to-be blog]

Those two are named Oscar Mittkins (the will in the Willry) and Lucille Hunter (used to be Henry before, but she changed it because the dimensional universe kept fucking her over) Martins (the ry in the Willry) - She is also a Guardian (people protector in the dimensions)

They have a cafe together called "Cathy and Maggi's Cafe", which actually belongs to only one of them (but at some point they became business partners because of some legal loopholes that Oscar used). They are both kinda young and Lucille used the dimensional system to basically give herself an advantage when it came to how much things cost. Also, the animatronics can all normally talk and move [this to some extent] because of "glowing orbs" which is basically something like a part of somebody's soul [everybody except Venus has Lucille's part of a soul. Velvet's is from Adelle]

Animatronics Lucille made:

Main ones at the cafe: Kathy [A white cat] and Maggi [A chestnut brown Springle spaniel]

The secondary ones at the cafe: Velvet [A very lightly red-coloured mouse (not pinkish)], Venus [A blue-ish wolf with a crown and a red dress. Has narcissism problems = inspired by Roxy a lot]

Lexie [A (what would Lucille describe as) pistachio green fox head, who never got finished and is basically like Alexa, but better. Has consciousness and her personality is just like a girl with Asperger's syndrome (because girls exhibit these traits slightly differently and mask a lot, which was the reason that people thought that girls couldn't have high-functioning autism [please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to offend anybody])

The hated ones: Polley [A white polar bear with a red tophat and a bowtie], Brownie [brown bear with a green hat and vest]

It's gonna be mostly angst and what is happening at the cafe and while they hang out. There are gonna be probably a lot of Silver Eyes moments [because they're travellers, they can travel anywhere like Gravity Falls, Freddy's, Batim, etc. I'll explain everything later but Freddy' plays a big role in every dimensional traveller's life/journey].

Other relevant people:

Charlie Gütter [sister of Lucille's BFF, dimensional twin of Kiko Lopez]

Kristian "Kiko" Lopez [Dimensional twin of Charlie Gütter]

Autumn Newton [kinda-adopted daughter of Lucille [not legally but it's better than with living with her actual mother and it's travellers, they're weird like that]

Andrew "Will" Newton [Lucille's ex-BFF and source of lot of her trauma, is trans. Bio "mother" of Autumn]

Peter Martins [Lucille's dad, who is an asshole and caused a lot of Lucille's trauma. Will explain later stuff: He went to the Freddy's dimension with the children along with "uncle" Josh and his two daughter and just killed all Lucille's friends, which started a whole new traumatic chain of events, but then they come back as travellers usually do (WILL EXPLAIN LATER ON, JUST ACCEPT THAT IT HAS SOME SOUL EXPLANATION)

I can promise you that it'll actually be fun AU if you let me!!!

I have a problem.

Looooong ago, in the ancient times of 2007-ish, I was part of this ACEO furs exchange group, where every month a bunch of artists could sign up to be paired up to draw each other's characters on an ACEO (a card, about the size of a pokemon card) and then mail those cards to each other.

It was pretty fun, but I had some life happening in quantities I had trouble handling, so I dropped out of the group.

I have, however hopped back in. Because yeah, it was fun! And even if I couldn't take part in Art Fight (maybe another year), a single card per month is way more doable!

So, now my problem. The maximum allowed characters is ten. How on earth am I supposed to choose JUST ten??

The dinosaur project thingy in itself has six (6) raptors, six (6) dinosaur cows, two (2) cats and a dog (1). That's kinda more than ten.

I'd also like to include characters from Entica, which at the moment is just three, but will eventually be five. (plus the animals...)

How am I supposed to narrow this down??!?!!????

So yeah, why I think Levi is cute and how manga canon supports this claim.

This argument might sound subjective, but I feel like Levi resembles a cat a lot.

His personality, his movements, his body proportions: he is muscular and very strong and agile, but he also looks rather slim and almost elegant when he moves. He’s very fast and extremely strong, but he is also very small.

He looks aloof at first, but he likes talking to others from time to time. Sometimes he’s even too talkative. You can notice this type of behaviour in cats too from time to time, when they’re just present in a room just because all the people gathered there. That’s a silly comparison, but facts about Levi here can stay anyway.

I feel like people usually see him as someone who’s strict and somehow aggressive, but this isn’t quite the case. He’s caring, he’s tender, he often thinks about how people around him feel both physically and mentally.

Sometimes he doesn’t know how to express that he cares, but those close to him just know that, and they know what he’s trying to say.

I love this scene for a lot of reasons, but Erwin’s little laugh as a reply to Levi’s threat is my best thing ever: he KNOWS what Levi’s trying to say and that Levi’s worried.

Ok this is a very sad start of the post lol, let’s continue with something more fun.

To me, Levi’s constant bitching also feels very cute. Especially the fact that he is self aware about this side of him and he straight up just says “yeah I’m just being a jerk, let me bitch a little ok, I just have to whine this is my ritual”.

And boy o boy does he bitch A LOT.

vvvv This one is also cute because he made a silly joke about Erwin just to start a conversation with Eren, he legit tried to cheer him up a little. Adorable. Levi always knows when Eren feels down, he’s very sensitive to his mood and pays great attention to it.

Ok so this is where we’re entering the Zevi Territory. I’m sorry, but his chemistry with Zeke is something else, they flirt so much it’s almost scary.

As we all know, they bicker quite often, since I think Zeke is the only person who actually reacts to Levi’s snarky little remarks. That’s the first time in a while when someone’s able to do that + Levi can’t just beat the shit out of Zeke for that, so that’s why we have so many dialogues. What Zeke also does is teasing Levi to the point when he just MUMBLES CUTELY AND QUIETLY TO HIMSELF.

What was this response, Levi?? You know damn well you didn’t have to answer that stupid remark about being popular, but you did anyway huh. Because you got shy, you cutie. How do I know this is a cute reply? Because the Japanese sentence was noted to sound surprisingly cute, he used a cute wording there, so even Levi’s Japanese fans got surprised.

And as far as I know this isn’t the only time when Levi mumbled something quietly while being kind of embarrassed. When I was trying to find something on some kind of jpn forums/blog sites I’ve seen people mention that he uses surprisingly cute wording in these situations, but I can’t explain anything here – I don’t know Japanese lol and used a translator for the article. You can check it out yourself, it’s number 8 on this list. My point is that it’s one of separate reasons why fans love Levi, so my guess is that it’s at least somewhat important to his character.

Moving on to his appearance. After rereading the manga we realized that Levi’s face is actually very… round-ish. He doesn’t have a strong chin, his nose is small, his lips are small. He looks exactly like his mother.

And I have to mention the most obvious thing. We all know that Levi is smol, but when you actually look at him you start to realize HOW SMOL HE ACTUALLY IS. Sometimes I think that Maybe I’m exaggerating, but then I open the manga and see this.

Guys.

He’s very small (look at the level of their shoulders).

And what I love about is that it gets acknowledged, but this isn’t his only personality trait. It’s very subtle, but it’s there. Isayama LOVES to tease him about it, and this is always so funny to me. When Levi is just too small to fit into the frame with the rest of the gang, it’s so cute and hilarious at the same time. This happens quite often, I’m sure there is a compilation of these panels somewhere lol. If there isn’t, I need to make it...

And yes I HAVE to mention the clown incident. I just have to. The man was straight up mistaken for a child. Once again, he’s being cutely teased by the manga and I love it lol.

And when Levi turned around, the clown CONTINUED to treat him as a child even after seeing his face. This situation at least shows that Levi’s face is not old-looking.

Isayama also LOVES showing how small and cute Levi is on the official art as well.

And yeah I know, zevi territory again, but please look at how PATIENT Levi is being here. He just lets Zeke backhug him. And of course he’s looking at the camera like he’s in “the Office”, but to me this situation has such a strong “being bread is fine actually, I don’t care anymore” vibe lol. I love this image so much. It also shows that Isayama doesn’t treat Levi (or any other character) seriously and that he most likely has tons of fun while writing their arguments.

Speaking of Isayama, let’s look at his sketches of Levi.

You know what I’m going to say, right? LOOK HOW CUTE-

But seriously though, I know Yams doesn’t have a reputation of the best artist out there, but I think these sketches are a good example of how he sees Levi’s character. He’s being rather passive, patient, mumbling something and just chilling. In one word, being cute.

What I also wanted to mention is Isayama’s remarks on how he created Levi from that Shingeki no Kyojin Encyclopedia thingie. I don’t know what word he used in the original (if somebody knows, please feel free to throw it at me, I’m interested; my guess is 綺麗, kirei), but I think that the word “pretty” is very specific. They used neither “beautiful” nor “handsome”, they chose PRETTY.

So yeah, I think that Isayama views him as grumpy old man who is also a cute little bean, and he never forgets about it.

Just… ugh look at it. What kind of baby sling situation is this. AND I KNOW I ALREADY MADE THAT JOKE D:

In conclusion, yes, of course Levi is strong and important and stoic (not all the time though lol), I know he has muscles, I know he seems intimidating to other characters sometimes, and I love him to death, but I don’t think taking him too seriously is a good thing. Taking any character too seriously isn’t a good thing.

Isayama doesn’t hide that he created a pretty smol boi character when he first drew Levi, he doesn’t hide that he thinks Levi is adorable. And funny. If Isayama wanted to change the way he drew Levi, he would’ve already done it a long time ago. He knows how to draw manly man faces.

And I love it about Levi. I wouldn’t want him to be any other way.

I have to get off the floor now and go out to the laundrette for this week's washing, cs I didn't yesterday, and I'm in dire need now of clothes

And then I can come back and go to bed, but not now

Also I'm thinking on Thursday (or Sunday, whenever I have the brain for things), I'll do a colour-test-ish painting for my idea of doing a cat comic book (the same style as the green one I made last year, tho mum's got that now) for each season

Atm, I'm thinking -

Spring, green, pigeon?

Summer, yellow, quail (y'know, with the flicky-uppy head bit - do we get those in this country, I've no idea)

Autumn, orange, crow

Winter, blue, owl? Robin?

I'll still have to think of season-appropriate things to replace the carved pumpkin of the autumn/Halloween one (daffodils for spring and sunflowers for summer? But what about winter? Or, sunflowers for spring and a scarecrow for summer - or the other way around, I spose it ought to be. Winter is tricky tho. A deer? That would be v difficult to draw in that style I think. Hm. I'll have to think), and decide if I want to figure out how to change the tree with the seasons - how do you do a black silhouette of a tree with flowers on for spring? It'd be much easier to do the original tree throughout - so we'll see about that

I really love my cat comics - they'd be deserving of me figuring out how to use a scanner, if I had access to one, so that I could make some account somewhere or other to sell it digitally, like people do nowdays

It's rare for me to actually continue to like and be proud of my paintings once they're finished, but I still really do love the cat comic book (and the little fox in the forest, from last month, too, my pinned post)

Oh, I got the little screen pen thingy the other week, maybe this weekend I'll have a go with it on Paint, so it could be digital

I have a feeling I'll prefer actually painting to using Paint or whathaveyou, but it's worth a click about I spose, I'll see how it goes

Gap year struggles and thoughts

So, hey. I don’t suspect many people will read this post, and that’s completely fine - i just need to get a couple of things down, and i believe my study-ish blog is the best place for me to do it, as most of the things are somewhat study related.

As you may or may not know, I am currently on a gap year before starting uni. It is very usual to take a gap year (or multiple) in Denmark, before going off to university, and i mainly chose to take a break to find out exactly what i want to study and to improve my mental health, which is quite necessary if I aim to survive uni. Going into the gap year i was a bit worried about the whole “not-being-in-school-thingy”, so i made a few goals/planned a couple of things i wanted to do to stay busy during my gap year, including

Working (i work 7:45AM to 4PM monday and tuesday)

Riding (we have 3 horses, and i ride everyday - so that’s a given)

Running/staying in shape (i’ve fallen quite in love with running, and i run between 4-8km every other day)

Learning russian

Learning new physics and get very good at the “fundamental” of physics before (probably) going to study it at uni

Reading

Now, after doing these things for about 2 months, I feel like it’s lacking something. Every day i finish everything on my to do list by 3PM, and then I feel utterly terrible the rest of the day. After a thorough investigation of why things are like this, I’ve come to a few conclusions regarding the matter. The main conclusion is, quite obviously, that i need more things to do. Taking physics notes and being on duolingo a couple of hours a day, does simply not do the trick for me - yes, I’m learning things, but I miss the school feeling and i miss actually doing things, instead of just passively watching the day go by. Conclusions and thoughts on how I’m going to make my gap year better are as following:

Online courses. I initially thought that it would be great to just read physics books, take notes and do some exercises, but i find that i need more of the school-feeling. Therefore i will take some online courses in different areas of physics, maths and programming - possibly other fields as well. I just staying busy and always have things to do, and actually feeling like i have accomplished something after working for 6 hours. Currently i am enrolled in a special relativity course i found on coursera, which i will start doing ASAP, but i honestly have not done a lot of research regarding online courses, so if you know a good place to take online courses, preferable free or cheap, please let me know!

Get more out. I’m already outside multiple hours a day, but i think i need to go more out (to do work and such) in places like libraries - the only problem is that i live 20 minutes(by car) from the nearest library, and even that library is not that... great.. But nonetheless, i think i might have to go explore the 3(lol) libraries that are < 30 minutes by car from me. Coffee shops would also be a possibility, but as i live quite isolated, there’s literally no good coffee shops for doing work in nearby. Anyways - get out more, explore places, and all that.

Workaway/something abroad. I have thought a bit about going away for a month or two in my gap year, and my favorite possibility right now is to find a place on workaway where i can work a couple hours a day for accomondation and food - i think it would be absolutely amazing for me to do a thing like that on my own, as it terrifies me. I’m thinking about Scotland (maybe), as it’s not too far away, i speak english fluently, and they have amazing nature and mountains, which is a thing i enjoy a lot. I visited Scotland for a couple of days this summer with my dad, and i fell in love with it - so Scotland is certainly quite high on the list of places to go. I’m mostly looking at places where they need help with taking care of animals (preferable dogs, horses, cats), and general help with outdoorsy things. The only problem with this is that i have a job that i can’t just leave for a month in the middle of everything, and i have a horse that i can’t leave for too long. My current solutions to these problems are (1) doing it by the end of spring/early summer, as I will have to leave the job to go to uni anyways - this is a bit sad though, as i think it would be better for me to leave sooner - but i don’t think there’s a lot to do about that. (2) I don’t know anyone who could ride my horse if i leave, so I’m thinking about sending him to a trainer for a month, so he won’t get bored or out of shape. Anyways, I think this is certainly something to think more about, as I do believe it would be incredible beneficial for me, in multiple ways.

Create something. I also feel like I’m not creating enough, and I’m thinking about either writing a book(or something else, idk), or starting a youtube channel. Or both - who knows. I’ve always kinda wanted a youtube channel, but I just never thought i had any content - my life was boring, and such and such - but maybe there is content in finding “content”? In having a good, interesting, beneficial and productive gap year?

(Maaaaybe getting another job.) I don’t want to work full time more than 2 days a week - it is exhausting and I didn’t go on a gap year to be exhausted by doing not-so-fun-things. BUT, I’m thinking a bit about maybe looking into being a dogwalker a couple of times a week, or helping kids with their homework a bit. Just to get out of the house, and have some sort of responsibilities the days I’m not working. Problems include: (1) I don’t actaully have any dogwalking experience - but I’m, generally speaking, very good with animals, but I don’t know if that’s enough to get people to pay me for walking their dog.. hmm.. and (2) I’m not really good with kids - or, I guess I am good with them, but I tend to get easily annoyed if they’re unwilling, especially if I am to help them with learning... hmm.

Be more curious and aware of what’s going on in the world. This includes watching more documentaries about things i don’t know anything about, reading the news and actually forming opinions on things (what a concept!lol)

Be more mindful. I think a lot, and i think it would be incredibly beneficial for me to do more meditation and yoga - things to get myself into a better mental space. The whole self-discovering-thing, I already feel like I’m pretty good at, and I do know quite a lot about how i think and work - but it is, of course, always improvable, and i think that being even better at journaling, scribbling down my thoughts and drawing conclusions from them, would only be a good thing.

I think that was all for now - and I’m also tired of writing now, haha. Again - this post was mostly just to share my thoughts with someone or noone - both possibilities are completely fine, but thanks a lot if you’ve actually read it, i really appreciate it. Part 1 - All about BTS 

Question 1: What is the meaning behind your username?

Well, I’ve been using this username for a long time now on pretty much, everywhere that is the internet if i’m being honest. Don’t know anymore where it came from, kind of already shows my kpop fan self, although I thought of it before even knowing of k-pop at all. So, yes a random asian-ish name, kind of oc character thingy, don’t know. (was kindalinehyorin for a while but a girl couldnt read her handwriting so, it got changed out of nowhere, hyorin is a queen though!)

Question 2: What got you into BTS and why?

 Well, long story short around the time blood sweat & tears came out, somehow the song was everywhere I was, so after ignoring it since I’m the type to ignore popular things. Then after skipping it some more bc of the death of Jonghyun, and the mood it set to the whole k-pop world. I finally got into it one summer and there was no going back.

Question 3: Explain why you like your bias

Oh, geez this will be long af... also ironic how @euphoriajjkook ‘s bias is the same as mine oh well. When I was watching compilations early on, I loved all of the members until I saw the clip of Tae & Jungkook sneeze on each other and I was very done and knew that I just love both of those dorks. But usually I say Jungkook is my bias, love his smile, personality, voice and just whole being. Like don’t you get me started on this human...

Question 4: Who are your bias wreckers? Has any of them come close to becoming your bias?

Now, this is where I could write a whole post... Let’s just say that I can’t possibly choose between Tae and Jungkook, so I would say both biases, but if I can’t then I’ll make Tae a bias wrecker. But in reality my bias wrecker is Min Yoongi himself (it shows on my blog lol) and yes he did come close to becoming my bias not that long ago... Jungkook is my bias he can’t take that place, I mean he shouldn’t but he could.. I’ll just stop!

Question 5: Do you have any particular ships you enjoy?

If you can’t guess from looking at my blog then you are either blind or I don’t even know. Taekook, or Vkook however you like the ship name. Taekook and Taekook only, ever, in every situation lol

i have a bruise on my ankle (does it count?), my shoe just was ready to ruin my day with that. nothing else i don’t think..

Have a lot, don’t get me started... People cutting me off, being awfully honest in a rude way, I won’t list more, my whole life is a pet peeve... (also @euphoriajjkook has a point with the looking at drawings one!)

Question 6: What kind of hobbies do you have?

okey, so: I draw, try to keep my simblr up, make some wallpapers and write (self promo, check my wattpad out @kindaline lol)

I have a habit of thinking of stories and what not in class/school, and after deciding to come back to wattpad I started to write some taekook ffs, cause wtf not?!

About drawing, a girl over here is dreaming of going to art school and doing what i like for a living. I won’t say I’m talented, but I try to improve in drawing the best I can... I enjoy it when my drawings turn out great, otherwise you will have an encounter with my depressed self.

If you could draw, what would your style be? And what would you draw mainly? (eg: Sas with animals? Pairings with subtle power play?)

Oh wow, I like this ask~

For someone who can’t draw, style is maybe too much to talk about, anyway if I could draw I wouldn’t do chibi/too cutesy stuff, I wouldn’t do very realistic stuff or show a distinct ethnicity (whatever it might be, cause what I like about anime is that they’re beyond and better than these real life things). I wouldn’t draw them in a shojo-esque way (huge eyes, too slender, no shapes like shoulder/arms) or in a retro-shounen way, very muscled and sturdy. I’d pay attention to kishi’s details like the physical/behavioral/attitude differences between Sasuke and Itachi, Sasuke and N*ruto and so on.

I would always draw them resembling the original ones, but better lol, kinda like the artist/doujinka Tosyoen, or @kaleidoscope-1. I like slender but I mean slender like Lily’s art or Maco’s. I’d sometimes draw symbolic/abstract-ish pieces or I’d experiment, like this amazing drawing by @renamon15 (btw check all her gallery, cause as I’m here imagining what I’d draw she actually drew a lot of really beautiful art for real~). And I’d work hard to express all my fave characters’ inner/outer beauty and peculiarities, not to mention I’d draw a lot of Team Taka like @asacchi (I mean…have you seen this?).

As for the subjects, you nailed them…I’d definitely draw Sasuke and animals when I’d feel like drawing cuteness. Sasuke and his hawk, Sasuke and snakes, Sasuke and dogs (Sasuke and cats? not much cause everyone already does it), Sasuke and random birds cause I’m a bird person, and Sasuke with crows, because I think he would always think of his brother when seeing them and since he’s an animal lover and a beautiful soul, and crows are the smartest birds, they’d totally love him. Also they’re very sociable once they trust someone, in short, I’d love to draw this.

I’d draw some Itasasu, but since there are already many good artists drawing them, I’d mostly draw my favourite rare pairings, since I always complain the lack of content. Shisasu (Shisui/Sasuke), Madasasu, , Kakasasu (there is more stuff for them but still), Obisasu, Suisasu, Juusasu…but also Orosasu, Kibasasu that I recently mentioned, Shikasasu, Deisasu (I could also draw non Sasuke-centric pairings, but mostly I’d do Sasuke-centric ones, both crack/rare and canon behind the screen.

In all these pairings I’d add subtle (or not so subtle) power play. I see Sasuke as a strong fighter but a passive person in relationships, who’s attracted by strength and who doesn’t care about getting hurt if he has a goal, also someone with a low self esteem, who was made to believe he was worthless, both by Itachi and after the ending, and, this being added to the way Itachi loved and protected him makes him have a very twisted idea of love, which means his relationships would have a twisted vibe. Also, and this is something I explore in my writing and I would also do it in drawings, I’m interested in exploring the other characters’ dark side, not only that of villain-ish but also that of characters considered good, loyal and so on. Like Kakashi (who has a strong dark side) or even Shikamaru (who sought revenge and showed a sadistic attitude), and N*ruto himself, who’s obsessive and possessive over him. My imaginary drawings would also include dark Nar*sasu.

On the contrary Sasuke is often misunderstood as having a strong dark side while he is the purest, and his dark side (cause everyone has one) is not sadistic and selfish, it’s self-deprecating, self-effacing (cause he sees himself as a tool) and obsessed by his brother not in a possessive way but as the opposite, and especially post-ending his dark side is a consequence of the manipulations he suffered. And since his strong strategic reckless side has been shown in canon many times, I’d like to portray his vulnerable side instead, that canon showed more indirectly, and his passive attitude in relationships. Like, if he thinks that the other person wants/needs something and he can give it to him, he would, no matter what it is and if he can get hurt. I don’t just mean scenarios like submitting to an authority/stronger figure for a goal, but also, for example, becoming Juugo’s cage like he said, and letting the other take it out on him. Or doing the same (more or less) with Suigetsu who has a sadistic side that might hurt others if he doesn’t put himself in the way. Or like @une-amie suggested, Shiukamaru’s shadow bon/dage, and many other dark thingies, that would make a subtle power dynamic, cause no matter how strong Sasuke is, post ending he thinks he’s at fault so he’d never use it completely against Konoha and its people. 

Thinking about it, how could I not draw Itasasu, dark IS actually. Itachi’s detached possessiveness and his idea of knowing what’s best for Sasuke which is a form of possessiveness too, Sasuke’s adoration for him..it’s always inspiring.

I’d never draw very explicit smut cause certain body parts and positions imo aren’t aesthetically pleasing, but I’d draw more or less naked bodies, as long as not everything is shown, same for positions for…uh…lemons. And grapefruits lol. Like, bon/dage is hot in certain ways but when certain positions force the person in a crouched/ball-like position it becomes ridiculous to me. I’d basically go for stretched out bodies, exposed and showing vulnerability thus more power/control related. Also, I’d draw a lot of half naked, bandaged SAsuke, lots of blood and good looking wounds, lots of defiant Sasuke with some authority figure or opponents. You get it.

I’d draw stuff related to my fics, cause my fics are what I like to read so it’s only logical that if I could draw I’d illustrate them, and my headcanons, and the AUs I imagined. 

But I must say I am so lucky that actual artists drew things inspired by my fics which is really beautiful :)
