Okay speaking of magical girls.... Evil villain tako that has a crush on the cute magical girl at NRC but he doesnt know shes the magical girl that's trying to thwart his evil plan of taking over sage's island mwhaha
YES YES YES. And every week he gets his ass handed to him. You're determined to keep Sage's Island safe!!!! He's trying to get to know you through the fights. The (one-sided) sexual/romantic tension is too much. Tako who flirts at every chance during your fights... you genuinely want to take him out (defeat him), but he wants to take you out (on a date). And it's so obvious he's down bad for you, but you have no idea he's Azul Ashengrotto (your fellow classmate) and he has no idea of your identity either. Azul's trying to balance his love for the magical girl he fights on weekends and his darling classmate who he sees during the week hehe. How fortuitous that they are the same person.
Please imagine that trope where the villain ensnares the hero in tentacles, but it ends up looking more erotic than threatening....... orz evil villain tako whose tentacle is holding you upside down by the ankle and he's monologuing about how he'll take over the island and you'll get to watch, powerless against him. But then he looks at you and your skirt has flipped up and he's granted a gratuitous panty shot!!!!!!! Tako who gets a nosebleed on the spot. He's such a loser pervert. <3
Omg omg or you're squirming in the tentacles and ranting about how you'll get him for this, but Azul's trying so hard not to give into the horny thoughts because the way the tentacles are looped around you and squeezing is so attractive to him.
Like that one scene where Stocking's fighting the octopus ghost LOL.

THE EX-MORNING SERIES CONCEPT
By now I think many people have heard that KristSingto’s upcoming series is an original script that was written for them. What we also have confirmed is that it was written about them.
[source]
KRIST: This series was written by P'Backaof and directed by P'Lit where they created this script from the start deliberately for the two of us and they got information for the characters etc. from KristSingto directly. In the series, the name for P'Sing is Tamtawan, and my name is Phatapi. And Tamtawan Tamtawan and Phatapi are KristSingto themselves.
INTERVIEWER: Does that mean you play yourself?
KRIST: [laughing] Yes, we act as ourselves, so it's not difficult at all.
Today, Aof elaborated on his part on Twitter:

And Jojo added:

So, two gay men are the leading creative minds behind KristSingto’s comeback series. Time to study up on your KristSingto history, kids. \:D/
Long live sanctioned RPF. 🎉

do you think you'll put "Stasis in darkness" on AO3 eventually?
see, when the idea first came to me, I hadn't really planned on doing anything with it because I wasn't sure if I could make it work. there's a level of gravitas in the relationship between a god and their devoted servant that I didn't think would translate well to steddie because, let's be real, those boys are goofy dorks. but the idea wouldn't leave me alone so I typed up the original post in an attempt to work it out of my system and move on.
(the post kind of blew up, which I was not expecting at all!! like, not even a little bit! i post all sorts of rough little ideas for my own amusement and I've been able to do that without drawing much attention until that point.)
Anyway, I wouldn't have done much with it but @acowardinmordor left some comments/tags/what have you that helped me nail down the setting in my head which really opened the door for me to explore how the story could progress. (apologies, strife, I'm not sure I ever properly thanked you for that burst of inspiration, so please accept this shoutout as an expression of gratitude). And the amazing @ent-is-indecisive allowed me to rant about it which really helped flesh out the story. Seriously, there are elements and lore coming up that would not have existed if it weren't for ent. (and thank you once again ent for the ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL fanart you made for the reveal scene, I'm still overcome with joy whenever I think about it!).
Once it got to that point, I knew I wanted it to be a self-contained story and I was afraid that if I did a multi-chapter fic I'd lose the thread and never make it to the ending I want the fic to have. (no, the end scene hasn't been written yet but I KNOW what it's going to be and I hope everyone will love it as much as i do). So I promised myself that I was not going to post it on ao3 until the whole thing was written out completely.
However, I occasionally need a confidence/motivation boost so I've been posting consecutive parts of the rough draft here. you have no idea how much the people who reblogged with tags or left comments have helped me fight off the discouragement my brain likes to bog me down with; off the top of my head, @godsweakestboy , @redfreckledwolf, @fuctacles , @spectrum-spectre , and @lawrencebshoggoth have given me lovely, enthusiastic words of encouragement. and they're only the ones I can think of at this moment. there's so many other people who've done this, so if you've ever left me nice tags or comments, please know that I've read every single one of them repeatedly whenever I need to get over a slump. I'm so grateful for all of you!
Anyway, all this is to say yes! It is going to be posted as a oneshot on ao3 once I've finished writing it. <3

hi there claris!
you inspire me a lot artistically, and recently i’ve come to the conclusion that my biggest goal with my art journey is to make a comic. but, it seems so daunting! i was wondering if you had any tips or tricks for things you do to make comic-drawing easier, more coherent, etc. i hope that makes sense? i’m just, interested in your process. thank you :D
I'm honored you think of me as an inspiration and you'd reach out to me for advice! Cracks knuckles this will be Long
Alright so first off I want to address the "daunting" aspect: it doesn't need to be! It's only daunting if you feel it has to be good good from the get go, but it doesn't! I actually recommend fucking around for the first few chapters god knows I did if you couldn't tell just to stay relaxed and positive
From a drawing perspective:
do not confine yourself and express yourself freely. If this means your characters change art style in the middle of your series, so be it! Harvey and Cringefail look so different in part 1, they will probably look even more different in part 200 or whatever, who cares!!!
I also want to prepare you for this: making a comic means you will be drawing a LOT. a lot lot. a looot lot lot. I'm personally insane and can do it for up to 14 hours a day but i do not recommend it. This ties to my previous point, drawing a lot = improving faster, so of course your art style will change and that's fine, actually do not focus on art style at all just do what comes natural
Writing-wise:
keep your notes app at hand because you will get random ideas in the middle of the night. Write down what you got, but remember you do not need to be faithful to it, and if you're anything like me you'll change things up a million time until it feels just Right.
Re-read your comic often (not all of it necessarily but at least the last few parts) and you'll get a clearer idea of where it needs to go. I usually know there's some "milestones" ahead and I adjust the pacing according to how I feel it should go, inserting filler scenes that will still be significant for character growth or for establishing some kind of element you might want to address later
For ideas: brainstorm, talk to the wall if you don't have a friend or s/o to torture, talk in your car
Generally speaking, youuu basically have to find what works for you. I openly struggle with OCD and when I give in to it I get NOTHING done as you can imagine. When I let go of control that's when I actually get some juices flowing, I need quite some wiggle room to actually feel relaxed enough to make art, it turns out!! If I feel like I have to stick to one art style, or to one plot line in one way I decided a few weeks ago I just get stuck. I need it messy and chaotic and unplanned

Bitches!!!
May your crops be bountiful, your complexions clear, and your living rooms cozy!
I have been using your advice through the past six months to navigate a terrible job situation, job hunt, do interviews, and most recently to negotiate a job offer (!!), and I am thrilled to share that I will be starting an exciting new job at exactly the salary I wanted in January!
Now I get to collect all my winter break pay (I work at a university), and grab/clean out every possible asset on my way out the door. :)))
You’re incredible—thank you so much for helping to demystify the capitalist structure that we all have to survive while we’re working on dismantling it.
YASSSS!!!! Oh honey bee we're so fucking happy for you. This is fantastic news! Good luck in your new job--you're gonna crush it!
And for everyone else on their way out the door:

the secret key to writing in character dick grayson is that dick does not get enjoyment out of relaxing or doing fun things. its a hard mindset to understand because it's the opposite of what you or i as fandom people experience, but Dick is never shown to do things for fun. if he's watching a movie or playing a game, it's almost always to spend time with other people, not because that's his impulse (and lowkey he sometimes ruins it for other people by never being able to turn off his brain)
now, this is not to say that he's unhappy, or that he doesn't experience happiness in his day to day. but he doesnt get that from the things that we, as comic book readers and fanfiction writers, get enjoyment from.
Dick is the definition of a workaholic. His only enjoyment comes from a job well done, helping people, and sometimes adrenaline (as his only real canon hobby is...skydiving)
