Won't you tell me what you want, bangaram?"

"I…."

What did he want? 

At this moment, for Bheem to touch him, kiss him, hold him in his arms and never let go.

And yet a part of him wanted to pull away and forget about this. 

Where would they go from here?

What if their already wounded relationship ended up suffering even more because of this? 

But Ram couldn't bring himself to just… stop. 

He had wanted this for so long, and now Bheem was with him, offering, waiting and being so, so patient. 

Ram turned around and shifted their position, now facing him. 

And Bheem, with His soft Curly hair, gorgeous eyes, gentle hands…just smiled and caressed his cheek.

Even in the barely illuminated room, he looked like a figure from some mythological story.

He couldn't drive the doubt and fear out of his heart completely, but…..he could try. 

Ram wrapped his arms around Bheem's neck.

Then gently holding his face in both his hands, he kissed him. 

It was Sweet, warm, a little awkward and oh so lovely…..

he felt as if his heart would explode with how fast it was beating. 

"You."

 He said after they broke off, breathless and dazed,

"I want you. That's all I can ask for."

And Bheem gave a fond smile, eyes shining with affection, and whispered,

"My love, I'm already yours."

Ram kissed him again.

He felt Bheem's hands moving along his back and coming to rest at the back of his head, fingers finding their way through his hair and giving them a light tug.

He moaned into the kiss, the heat of his dream returning with a fiery intensity making the line between fantasy and reality blur for a moment.

He tried to shake off the hazy fog which had suddenly invaded his brain and realized that Bheem had untied the knots of his dhoti and pushed the fabric aside. 

And because the man (he's fallen for) is a cheeky bastard, Bheem looked him in the eyes and smirked.

"Were you going to take care of this on your own?"

He feels like his face is on fire and quickly looks away. 

"Ram…."

Oh God… 

 

There's fingers dancing around caressing his thighs and he can feel goosebumps break on his skin. 

"Tell me… won't you answer me?"

"W- What?"

"You were going to leave… to do what?"

He knows what's being implied by the question…the smug look Bheem is wearing is driving him insane…

"I - just a quick splash of water… "

"Oh? Really??"

"Yeah I.. I wasn't planning on… uh.. You know…"

There's genuine shock and then it morphs into a bemused smile. 

"Then… tell me… .what made you like this?"

Suddenly his urge to run out of the Hut is back and so are the memories of his dream.

"I…I can't- AH! "

The sudden wet and hot sensation between his legs made him forget about keeping his voice down for a moment. 

He looked down and watched Bheem take half of his cock in his mouth and then suck.

Heat pooled into his stomach and curled around him making him twitch and moan and arch his back as waves of pleasure throbbed through his body.

Summary-

Bheem and Jenny finally get to enjoy their relationship. Having dealt with so many ups and downs, it is only fair that they get a chance to experience the beauty and blessings of life as well.

There is one last remaining obstacle in their path. In this story, they will overcome that as well. But like all things in their lives, it won't be without its own unique challenges.

This fic was originally going to be one giant 10,000 word monster. But I am tired and I think it needs at least another 5,000 words. So I am posting it as two chapters.

The second chapter will be posted in the evening. If you want to get a sense of how I have envisioned Bheem and Jenny (for more context for this story), please read my previous stories, 'Twelve Hours,' and 'A Promise of Eternity.'

'Sanctuary' can be considered a continuation of these fics.

This story is all fluff-- thanks to @ronaldofandom who has managed to get me to write this. I struggled with it, that goes without saying. Fluff is very hard to write! My kudos to all you fluff writers out there!

A Dog’s A Heavy Burden

Well I think it has been forever (3 weeks?) since I last posted something. So sorry folks, real life has swamped me, but I am hopeful in the next couple weeks I might get some more time to write (especially TAOAT). 

Anyways, this is the shortest piece I’ve ever published but the idea was so cute (inspired by a gifset that crossed my dashboard). Plus I just wanted to write something cause it has been forever.

And I couldn’t find the photo of these two I actually wanted, but the story is about them so here’s a cute photo instead:

"Ram! Are you ready? We need to leave in a few minutes to meet your sister in time." Upasana called out as she touched up her hair in front of the bathroom mirror.

No response.

"Ram!" Upasana called out again. 

Still silence. 

Upasana frowned. Usually, her husband gave some sort of acknowledgement. Especially if he was in the next room. 

She peered out the door, brows furrowing when her husband was nowhere to be seen. Hadn’t he said he would be back by now? 

Grabbing her earrings, she started to put them on as she walked in search of her spouse. 

Both the kitchen and the home gym were empty. Just where was he? 

"Ram?" Upasana called out again from the middle of the house. Finally, she heard a faint reply from the direction of the hall. 

She walked that way, a little annoyed from the search. Just what was he playing at? 

"Ram! We're going to be late!" She said as she approached the hall.

"Sorry Upsi, I'm kind of stuck." Ram called out.

Stuck? What? 

Upasana hurried into the hall, stopping at the entryway with wide eyes. She bit her lips to keep from laughing at the sight.

Charan was sprawled out on the floor on his back, still in his running clothes. On his chest laid a very cozy looking Rhyme, tail thumping rhythmically with Charan's head scratches.

"Really dear?" Upasana said, covering her mouth to hide her smile.

Charan craned his neck backward to look at her with pleading eyes. "Don't laugh! I can't get up!"

Upasana raised an eyebrow, "Can't? Or won't?"

Charan pouted at her before looking at the sleeping dog on his chest. Slowly he bent his elbows and tried to leverage himself up, only to have Rhyme growled and bat her paw in his face. Charan dropped back to the floor. Rhyme sank back down, rubbing her nose against his sternum before closing her eyes. Then she opened them again and yapped at him, making Charan's hand jump up to scratch at her head.

Upasana's shoulders shook from restrained laughter.

Charan looked at her again. "I'm trapped."

Upasana nodded once, earlier annoyance disappearing in front of this adorable and ridiculous scene. She walked forward to kneel at his side, and pet down Rhyme's back, making the little dog make happy sniffling sounds. She slowly slid a hand in between Charan's chest and Rhyme's belly, and lifted.

Rhyme whined for a minute until Upasana tucked her under her own chin, cradling her like a baby.

She looked up at her husband who was staring at her with a besotted look on his face.

Her smile was soft but equally fond as she poked Charan's side. "Go get ready, the driver will be here in 10 minutes."

Charan sat up, leaning over to press a kiss on his wife's cheek. "You're incredible."

Upasana laughed. "Among the many reasons you married me. Now go."

Charan smiled his patent boyish grin (the one that still made her blush like in their school days). "Yes ma'am."

Upasana watched as he left the room to get ready, hopefully quickly. She looked down at the dog staring at her with sleepy eyes. She cooked at Rhyme. "What was it girl, felt like sleeping on Dad? Did he make a good pillow?"

Rhyme barked, making Upasana laugh. "Yeah, I agree. He's quite comfortable."

OKAY OKAY EVERYONE SHUT UP AND LISTEN!

RamBheem Jodha-Akbar AU where Akhtar (Bheem) is the Mughal emperor who marries Sita, a Rajput warrior princess. However it is merely a marriage of convenience as both of them are Gay. Ram is Akhtar's childhood best friend, the second-in-command of his army AND one of the "navratnas" in his court. He's also the head of his majesty's personal safety squad, the most elite military unit in the entire empire.

Now from here on out it could be a straightforward romance with Ram and Akhtar falling for each other. OR we can make it more spicy and have Ram be completely enchanted by Sita the moment Akhtar's marriage is fixed with her. Of course, he utterly despises himself for having these feelings for the future-Queen, who was also the fiance of his closest friend for crying out loud. So here we get an angsty, frustrating af love triangle where Ram pines after Sita while Akhtar pines after Ram and it's all a clusterfuck of complicated emotions. However then, in a tender, vulnerable moment with Akhtar Ram has an epiphany--he has been in love with Akhtar all this time too. And this sends him into an completely different spiral of battling his internal homophobia and debating the nature of his relationship with the Emperor.

After this angstfest though we have Ram coming to terms with his bisexuality and confessing his feelings first to the Empress and then the Emperor. Obviously he doesn't expect anything in return because, well, he IS Ram afterall. But we have Sita gently letting him down, telling him about her truth, revealing that she has a secret partner. He's absolutely heartbroken but being the soldier he is, wordlessly takes a vow to do whatever it takes to protect the Queen and her lover.

When he confesses to Akhtar however (obviously after a timeskip, after he's done panicking over being in love with a man, then being in love with the freaking King), things get more complicated. It is clear both of them want each other but they can't consummate right now because the empire is in turmoil right now and they're bound by duty to their country first and all that jazz. More angst ensues (you thought we were done? Muahahahahaha no) and things pretty much stay at an impasse (i.e. they both suffer in silence and yearn like idiots) until when they have to go to war.

And then on the battlefield, after a hard-earned victory when they're both covered in blood and Akhtar's smile is brighter than the sun shining on them, Ram says Fuck it in every single way possible and crashes his lips against Akhtar's right then and there, with possible thousands of pairs of eyes watching him. But Ram has no shits left to give because they could very well be dead tomorrow and damn him if he's going to go out with one more regret piled onto his already humongous heap.

Protocols are long forgotten, as is the strict hierarchy as Akhtar all but melts against his armour and Ram smiles as he draws him into his arms, claiming him in ways no one else could dare to, right in middle of the ground soaked by the blood of their enemies--it's a glorious conquest in more ways than one.

“But they didn’t break you on the inside at all,” Jenny said softly. “Even when they shredded you to pieces with that thorny whip, they didn’t succeed in breaking you on the inside. You stood tall and proud and strong, bigger than the entire British empire. Nothing about you looked broken that afternoon, even as you fell to the ground, beaten and bloodied.” 

“That’s because it was an act,” Bheem snapped.
