secondly i have so much to say about hybrid!txt and idk how to organize my thoughts so let’s go :)

- first of all he’s a fox hybrid, nothing more nothing less

- ik everyone says that but choi yeonjun is such a fox. he’s more fox than an actual fox actually.

- i feel like you would meet him as a pup and he’d immediately imprint on you and stick to your side like a magnet literally for the rest of your life

- your little dog-cat boy will be all over you all the time :((

- he’d build comfy nests for the two of you, surrounded by your (his) favorite articles of your clothing, blankets, and teddies :(

- he’ll get pouty and sulky if you leave your little nest so don’t leave :( he’s building a home for you, be nice

- did i mention that he wants your attention all the time

- he may seem like he’s all grown up but he’s still a clingy, playful pup inside

- loves to play fetch with you too

- even though he’ll always use his “old dog” excuse when you ask him to wash the dishes or pick up after himself

- imagine jjun is pestering you while you’re trying to do your work so you toss a bouncy ball to distract him but he returns it to you with a playful glint in his eye <//3 how could you say no to that face??

- buy him chew toys to play with while you’re busy :”) they’ll keep him occupied long enough for you to get some work done

- but it never lasts too long because he’ll get tired of playing soon enough and want to cuddle you again :((

- “is this okay?” jjun would ask, and you’re mildly uncomfortable and a bit warm for your liking but you’d better say yes anyway

- i tried to think mildly outside the box a bit so hear me out alright

- wolf hybrid

- everything about soobin screams wolf pup to me right??? like yeah he’s big and definitely not a pup but isn’t he such a wolf pup though??

- the answer is yes btw

- he can definitely be clingy but he’s a lot more quiet and calculated about it

- soobin will pretend he’s just hanging out in your space and patiently wait for you to give him the physical attention he so desires

- he’ll lie across your lap silently and patiently and then pretend to have no reaction when you scratch behind his ears

- a protector for sure

- but again, a quiet protector

- he’s no crazy possessive alpha but he’ll definitely guard you from other hybrids and gently tug you away if he notices someone making you uncomfortable

- always makes sure you’re okay before worrying about himself :(( just wants to know his beloved is safe and comfortable at all times, his needs can wait

- soobin will also trail you like the loyal puppy that he is

- no matter where you go, he’s right there with you, either with his arm wrapped around your waist or trailing closely behind you

- you never have to worry about him seeing anyone else because he only ever has eyes for you

- sometimes soobin can get too lost in you and you have to remind him to maintain his other relationships though (same)

- it’s never too extreme though, he just needs gentle reminders that you’re not the only person alive :)

- wolf hybrid!soobin loves having his hair brushed and will give you the biggest, most pitiful puppy eyes until you do it for him

- will probably make you wear a matching bracelet so everyone knows you’re his :) nothing too flashy though, he’s subtle about his possessiveness

- OUR BABY BEARRRR

- big-little baby bear boy with little baby bear ears :((

- he gets insecure because all the boys have bigger ears than him so make sure you pat his head and tell him you love his little ears!!

- gyu will giggle like crazy if you play with his ears :(( but no one else gets to do it or he’ll get mad

- a biter

- he just likes to gently bite down on your arms or legs for no reason in particular

- sometimes gyu bites too hard and draws blood but he profusely apologizes and helps you clean up right away </3

- poor boy doesn’t know how strong he is

- will get excited to see you and give you the tightest hugs before quickly remembering that you aren’t a bear like him

- beomgyu fiercely protective of things that are his :)

- his family, his friends, his things, his love, you name it

- it takes him a while to get used to your friends and make sure they’re good enough for you, but after that no one else is allowed to talk to you without receiving the coldest death glare from him

- grumbles under his breath about how ugly they were and how “they probably don’t even have pretty ears like me right?? ‘m prettier right??”

- sighs </3 he’s so cute when he’s jealous </3

- gyu would prefer if you relied on him for protection but he ends up needing your protection more often than not :’)

- baby bear is adventurous but very clumsy

- he really really loves when you lay on his chest or curl up in his arms </3 makes him feel needed

- which he is obviously

- you need him as much as he needs you (which he’ll never admit is a lot)

- tldr; protective boy who wants praise and reassurance sometimes!

taehyun

- i must say i was conflicted about this one due to my desire to be unique

- but taehyun is just such a cat hybrid

- i think he’d be a deep grey chartreux for some reason, it just makes sense to me

- he’s elegant and quiet, and doesn’t mind spending most of your time together completing separate activities in the same room

- tyun also likes to sit at your feet while you’re occupied with work or whatever show you’re interested in at the moment, resting his head against your knee as he reads a book or watches along with you

- he loves socializing with you, contrary to popular belief

- even if you aren’t as social, he loves to go out with you on his arm because he loves to show you off </3

- tyun does prefer to spend alone time with you though

- his fav couple activity has to be curling up together in a sunny spot on the carpet and napping the day away

- sunny cat naps with tyun </////3

- he also loves loves loves scenting you

- because he’s totally not possessive but you need to smell like him because you belong to him, in his words

- imagine your kitty tyun curling up on your lap and nuzzling his cheek against your neck, gently purring and mewling as he “subtly” marks you as his :(

- he’ll get fussy if you’re ticklish though so stay still!!

- he won’t ever directly ask to you to pet him :) instead he’ll nudge you and poke you and head butt you until you get the message

- can and will cat nap directly on top of you and will definitely grumble if you wake him

- another biter but in a very different way

- tyun simply uses your arm as a mouthrest in stark contrast to gyu’s full on biting

- his little chompers get tired sometimes and he needs a nice warm cushion so deal with it :’)

- actually i think he might nip you sometimes just for fun

- kitty tyun is actually more playful than he seem, but he loves to play innocent if ever he does pull a little prank on you

- his best practical joke (in his opinion) is tickling your nose with his tail while you’re sleeping so you wake up sneezing :)

- he can barely stifle his laughter pls he really thinks he’s funny

- his pranks are lame but he’s cute about it so laugh with him <3

- PENGUIN!!!!!

- idk if this is an uncommon headcanon but he’s definitely a little penguin

- first and foremost he trails you like a lost chick no matter what :((

- holds onto your sleeves and waddles so closely behind you that you can feel his unnatural warmth radiating off of him :((

- clinging to you always

- keeps the temperature very low solely for the purpose of wearing sweaters indoors and snuggling with you

- if you thought yeonjun was too cljngy you have another thing coming with hueningkai

- he’s always either holding your hand inside his sweater paw, snuggled up on your stomach napping, hugging you tightly as you sit on his lap, or following behind you with your pinky securely intwined with his :(((

I look over to Yeonjun -hyung as we walk toward the coffee shop we both work at so we don't get more soaked. As I look at him I notice his shirt is unbuttoned a bit. I quickly look away as I start feeling my cheeks go red. Why does the rain pouring down his silky skin have to make it so hot?

{Yeonjun} " Chae-chie are you alright? Are you cold?" He asks as he flashes me a sweet smile.

My gosh I wonder where he got that nickname from. It's cute ,too cute it makes me blush more. He looks at me as I don't give any response to his questions.

I'm fully red and, oh did I say that I'm extremely weak when around guys especially when they are this close to me? No? Oh then now you know. Why am I crushing on my bff who is like my second big brother!??

{Yeonjun} "Chae-yi-ul. Hey are you ok? If you're cold you can have my jacket. It's a little damped but it should be fine since your shirt is very see-through." He says as he stops talking while he looks at my chest through the shirt.

I apologized while he just stood there confused as he looked at my shirt over again.

{Yeonjun} "Scars? Chae-chie, What do you mean by that? I don't see scars, I can see your nipples but I- oh gosh I'm sorry. I shouldn't be looking and I shouldn't be talking like this. Please don't tell your brother Soobin or else I'm a dead Fox."

♡For context, Yeonjun and Chaeyiul have been friends for a very long time since middle school. The thing is Chaeyiul always looked very masculine even way before coming out as transgender. Therefore Yeonjun never knew about his transition, also because Chaeyiul has never told him due to insecurities and embarrassment. ♡

He looks away covering his face with his shyness. He then bows to me as he apologizes more.

As he bows I grab his arm to stop him from bowing since there was no need.

{Chaeyiul} "Yeonjun-hyung. It's ok. I told you there's no need to treat me formally, we've been friends for so long and it should be the other way around anyways. And also it's ok, I won't tell Soobin-hyung, don't worry. I think you should keep your jacket since you easily get very sick. Let me go in the coffee shop and ask for an umbrella. Stay here hyung."  I say as I smile and try to button his shirt since his chest was very much showing.

I went in the coffee shop and asked if anyone had an umbrella I could borrow.  A nice lady gave me one as I exchanged it with money so she could buy another one. "Thank you ma'am." I said to her.

I could see at the end hall of the coffee shop a few girls who looked like high schoooler's. I noticed they were silently screaming as I walked in the shop. Did a celebrity visit my workplace or did Yeonjun-hyung enter the shop and he is the reason for their fan girling? Yeonjun has always been "Mr.Hot Fox and popular all ladies want him" so I wouldn't be surprised if he was the reason for their screams.

I turn around about to exit the shop as I hear a male voice call my name.

"Chae-chie. Would you like a coffee to warm yourself?" It was Yeonjun offering me a warm drink.

As the girls saw him they start screaming and one stands up to ask him for a photo as the other just looks at me in disgust. Wait? A photo?! Didn't know Jun Noona was that popular.

"Oh my god. Yeonjun oppa can we have a photo together?" One of the girls said with glazed eyes and fuck me eyes. She was a ginger cat. They're known for being very flirty and dramatic.

I watch as their eyes go wide and sparkle. The cat hybrid even starter purring next to Yeonjun. Noona Jun looks at me and awkwardly smiles as he mumbles "sorry" to me.

I shrug it off and say "its ok. I'll wait outside." I put a smile and head out the shop.

YEONJUN

a jaguar hybrid

unfortunately, you and yeonjun didn’t meet under the best circumstances. you came from a wealthy family, living in one of the priciest neighborhoods in korea. yeonjun was one of your neighbor’s hybrids, so you saw him often, which would have been much more pleasant if he wasn’t so often covered in scratches and bruises. it was obvious to you (and almost everyone else, though they never said anything) that he was being abused by his owners. you decided that if anyone needed a friend, it was yeonjun.

it started small. every morning, you passed each other at the end of your family’s long drive way. you on your way to school, yeonjun collecting his owner’s mail from the box attached to their gate. during this passing, you always offered a smile, every day, until he started to return them. the smiles lead to shy “good mornings” and eventually conversations and even small presents. you liked to bring him breakfast (usually a few pieces of bacon), especially after he confessed that he rarely got to eat anything substantial. it was only natural that yeonjun should get attached to you. it took him two weeks to realize that he had imprinted on you, but only two minutes to decide that he could never tell you. you were completely unreachable: a shining angel who slipped him tupperware containers of kimchi fried rice through the bars of his owner’s gate. he resigned to satisfy his craving for you with these small interactions because, in his eyes, you could never love him the way he needed you to. he was only a pet, something to stay silent and impress guests, and you were perfect.

SOOBIN

a bunny hybrid

binnie has been your bunny ever since you moved out of your parent’s house. you live in a small studio apartment off campus from the school you attend. at first the independence was nice, but after a while it started to get lonely. the thought of getting a hybrid never crossed your mind until one of your friends told you about a hybrid shelter that was getting shut down in your neighborhood. normally, when shelters close the hybrids are transferred to a new one, but this shelter only had a few left and was planning on putting them down. you brought soobin home the next day.

at first you were worried about sharing your tiny space with such a large bunny, but soobin fell in love with you almost immediately. as soon as he was through the door he was making himself at home, piling all of your spare pillows and blankets into a warm nest on your bed. he spends most of his time in the center of it, his giant body curled around yours whenever possible. he really doesn’t like being separated from you unless it’s absolutely necessary.

BEOMGYU

a dove hybrid

you found him, curled up in the gutter outside your favorite thai restaurant, one rainy evening. the sky was so dark that you almost didn’t notice him, huddled in a small pool of rain water. his beautiful pale gray wings were water logged and crumpled, and he flinched when you stopped walking and took a double take at him. you’d never planned on adopting a hybrid, but you couldn’t just leave him there, shivering in the rain.

for beomgyu, you were like an angel. no one had ever cared about what happened to him before. he grew up in a wealthy household, spending every day in an intricate golden cage like some kind of decoration. you weren’t like that, though. you brushed out his wings for him every night before he went to sleep and let him eat as many seeds and nuts (almonds are his favorite) as he wants. let’s just say he’s very attached to you.

TAEHYUN

a black bear hybrid

your parents were beekeepers, so you were used to the occasion scuffle with local wildlife. you and your family lived in a white cottage a few miles outside of the nearest city, with several hives behind it scattered amongst a few patches of flowers and plants which tangled into a hodgepodge garden. your parents took care of the hives, collecting the honey to sell at a local farmer’s market. you found taehyun near the farthest hive early one morning while you were watering the morning lillies. he froze the second he saw you, one hand still stuck inside the hive while the other, holding a piece of honeycomb, dripped with warm golden-brown syrup. you could tell he was skinny, his face sharp and angular from going without food for so long. you felt a pang in your heart as you realized he must be a wild bear cub and before you fully knew what you were doing, you were asking him if he wanted to come inside.

luckily, your parents didn’t mind and taehyun took to you like a fish to water (or a bear to honey). as he started to gain weight and muscle, he became much more comfortable around you. now, he calls you honey more than your real name and has no problem man handling you into giant bear hugs.

HUENINGKAI

a puppy hybrid

kai has lived with you since you were little. your parents adopted him for you when you were almost four years old, so it’s difficult for you to remember a time when he wasn’t right by your side. kai’s always attracted a lot of attention, with his big brown eyes and floppy golden ears hidden among a mop of dark curls, but he’s never shown any interest in anything other than you. your parents never placed any pressure on him to be anything other than your friend, but he still likes to think of himself as your protector. when you were little, it was pretty obvious that his bark was worse than his bite, but most people thought it was sweet the way he followed you around and nipped at anyone who got too close.

it wasn’t until a sudden growth spurt meant that he towered over you and almost everyone else that anyone started taking him seriously. he’s still pretty harmless, but he looks intimidating enough that he can scare off the creepy older guys who like to bother you sometimes (which always fills his chest with a warm sense of pride).

Imagine for a moment, a shapeshifter AU but with like, earth animals because I really don’t know many star wars animals. 

So- Imagine

Qui-Gon a Lion shifter with a great big mane and sharp eyes, but he also likes to watch the little younglings play in the gardens as a way to get rid of energy after they have been in classes all morning. A LION A LA ASLAN if you will. His ears twitch when he hears a little one try to sneak up on him. He waits patiently and he gives small rumbles like laughter when he’s pounced on and hugged. “Hello little one, come to enjoy the shade with me?”

Obi-Wan- A Sand Cat shifter with large ears and softly furred feet he is the epitome of stealth! that is when he wants to be, especially when sneaking up on his friends, his padawan or his master. He’s a beige orange and is quite small so he’s happy to ride on someone’s shoulders when he’s shifted. More often than not he’ll be napping under Qui-Gon’s mane’d chin when they’re in one of the sunny gardens. He also mews softly when Qui-Gon calls him an Imp and picks him up by the scruff only to hold him in his arms and pet him. 

Anakin- Estrela Mountain Dog shifter with a fluffy coat that is as shaggy as his normal hair. When he was younger Qui-Gon attempted to groom him but eventually it got to be too much and so he went with brushes and baths if they had the time. It was a treat for Anakin to be pampered while he was shifted. He’s very protective of his ‘herd’ and Padme. Ahsoka loves to flop on top of him when he’s resting. 

Ahsoka- a Red Fox shifter with large ears like her montrails and the quick legs to carry her after Anakin and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. While Anakin is her master on paper it is all three that raise her which exposes her to all kinds of fighting techniques, stealth techniques, how to get passed a snoozing Obi-Wan techniques. She is very social both in and out of shift so it’s not unusual to see her limp and snoozing around anyone’s neck like Obi-Wan. Padme has even had Ahsoka around her neck when Ahsoka had some downtime. A little yip yip and Padme happily picked Ahsoka up. 

Padme- a Blue-Eared Kingfisher with bright plumage to attract and distract as she works in the senate. She’s a crafty and vocal bird when it comes to her mate, her friends, and those who she doesn’t trust at all. While small in size she still gets around quickly as her wings take her far especially with drafts of air. She loves to sit in Anakin’s unruly hair and puff herself up and sing as she makes herself comfortable. She’s also known to roost on Qui-Gon’s back when he’s shifted, sunning herself and enjoying his slow breaths over Anakin’s quicker panting.
