High school student Mipha.
age: 16
height: 5'2"
favourite food: dumplings
favourite drink: peach iced tea
best subjects: biology and history
Mipha is a sweet, sensitive soul with a strong intuition and empathy towards others. She may be soft and kind, but is by no means a pushover. On the contrary, she possesses a deep strength and grit that not many would guess lies under the surface. Once she has warmed up she has quite the cheeky sense of humour among her friends, and she cherishes her close connection with Link.

Basically just a random crossover. I've put a bit of thought into how it might work, though for this pic I just wanted to show off these five together. Making the sprites is fun, even if for Urbosa I really just edited Mom Lalonde.

Farewell Sometimes I am amazed how much I cannot draw Link Alice through the looking glass reference, cause I am not good with creating own stories - I steal them. I’m not even ashamed

thinking more on yona like she is literally just a misogynists wet dream. how can i like her when an incel would use a pic of her as evidence that women are meant to be creatures of Healing and Home. no personality no interests no thoughts separate from sidon or link she is Just a sexy lamp meant to force even more heteronormative misogyny onto loz

Hylian Vanessa or Veidri. Born to a Geurdo mother and a Sheikah Clan father, she always felt outcasted. Not like the other children around hee. Growing up in Hateno but traveling on occasion, she knew Link as a child and often tagged along with him, joining his family on trips to Zora’s Domain to do trade.
She was a shy, quiet child, much like Link she pushed being selectively mute like him. He was like a brother to her and his parents a second family. They were close before the move. Veidri never knew, her family just moved to the castle town without warning.
There she stayed, watching as her father pushed himself to breaking training; seeking to fulfill his sacred duty of protecting the royal family when it had never mattered to him before. Veidri’s family seemed to crumble before her eyes as work consumed their lives. Eventually, taking her Father’s from her.
It was then that her mother watched as Veidri began doing just as her father did, pushing herself to get stronger. Once she became a Royal guard, Veidri clawed her way up the ranks, growing more and more distant with each day. Eventually reaching the top and becoming the Royal captain. Even with that she wasn’t satisfied, she pushed herself everyday, training harder and for longer. It was never enough.
Her mother knew why; Veidri had never learned to cope with loss. She’d never truly lost someone like this. Even once they’d moved, Veidri had written letters to her friends in Hateno and Zora’s Domain until her father’s passing. It almost made her shut down. Veidri seemed to blame herself for it, feeling that she hadn’t done enough to stop him from his self destruction. Only to pick up where he’d left off. If she couldn’t save him, she’d do everything in her power to protect everyone else.
Always having been an avid reader, Veidri was often found in the royal library if she wasn’t training. Where she would learn of old legends and prophesied catastrophes. Only to cling to one old lost legend. The creation of the land itself. Veidri learned about the golden goddess and their formation of the world they live in; Din, Nayrue and Farore. Alongside their artifacts of great power the Triforce. There Veidri latched onto the idea of seeking out the Triforce of Power for if she could hold such unyielding strength, surely there wouldn’t be anything she couldn’t face.
So she pushed herself harder and harder. If she wasn’t in the castle she was riding out to the shine of power where she prayed and prayed. Being given no answer each time.
She was there when the Divine Beasts were unearthed and the Champions were appointed. She should’ve been happy to see Link again.. but she wasn’t. Veidri looked upon him and saw a boy who had everything handed to him. The sword, this status. The blessing of the Goddesses. Everything she’d fought years for.
At first she didn’t like any of the champions really. Although Mipha was an exception. It was hard for her to dislike the kindhearted Zora. Especially as she’d known her when they were young. Mipha was the first of the champions to get past her bitter outer shell. Urbosa was the second, she reminded Veidri of the beautiful culture of her mother’s home. A place Veidri once hoped she’d get to see before she sold her life to her father’s hopes.
After months of pushing herself and almost being reunited her father because of it, Veidri’s devotion received an answer and would be blessed with the triforce of power. But it wouldn’t last long.
Only a few months of having it, the prophesied return of the dark malice came. Deep in the night when Veidri was out training herself in the yard, spectated by her beloved steed Burning Chariot, she was attacked by Calamity Ganon. She fought but fate had already been written. Sharp tendrils of malice pierced her chest and palm, ripping from her what the Goddess Din gave her. Leaving behind a writhing, pulsing mass of black and red malice in the cavity within her chest.
Unwilling to watch her die, she was grabbed by her horse, hardly able to even get herself on his back; Burning Chariot ran through the chaos and destruction left in the wake of Hyrule Castle’s takeover and marched on without stopping towards the spring of power. Knowing the route by heart as Veidri had ridden thin there countless times in her unwavering quest for the triforce piece.
He didn’t stop to rest, drink or eat and barely carried her to the spring, collapsing in the water before the statue of Hylia. There the golden goddesses showed mercy as Farore cradled the dying stallions head. Praising him for his loyalty and courage; giving the steed her blessing so that he may not die nor lose his mind to the malice, Veidri unwittingly passed onto him.
And Din visited the dying Hylian’s murky dreams of darkness. A vision she does not remember clearly. Blessed once more as she faced a fate carved in stone without fear despite knowing deep down that there would be nothing she could hope to do to change the tides of fate.
However, her corrupted body was too far gone to fully save. All Din could promise was that Veidri would never fully lose herself to Ganon’s control.
As the years passed, Veidri wandered Hyrule aimlessly, hiding her face and dying her white hair black. Even if she wore a mask, Veidri couldn’t bare to let the world remember her for what she was; the captain of the Royal guard who did everything she could to keep its people safe. After all she’d failed in that and failed to keep the triforce of power safe from the hands of evil.
Despite her guilt, Veidri does everything she can to help everyone around her. Never speaking nor removing her mask. Even though Burning Chariot’s body has lost most of itself to malice and rot, his mind remains free and he has not once left her side. However, he cannot enter towns as he scares people due to his ghastly appearance. Thus, Veidri has tamed many horses over the years, even if each time she outlives them it breaks her even more.
Veidri does what she can to avoid visiting Hateno and Zora’s Domain but often ends up there anyways. Where her childhood memories haunt her and in the case of Zora’s Domain her childhood friends. Being around them amplifies the guilt she feels. For failing Hyrule, and the fact that she stopped contacting them once her father passed.
The first time she saw Sidon again, the guilt almost overwhelmed her. She was closest with him and had even showed him a few things she’d learned from her parents on fighting. Alongside that, Veidri knew the champions were doomed to die from the start. Seeing the corrupted Divine Beasts; she blames herself for it all. If she had just been stronger maybe she could have prevented this. Even if to any sane person it’s obvious she couldn’t have done much, it didn’t stop her from believing it anyways. After all, she’d had the triforce of power, she should have been able to stop him, but she failed.
On bloodmoons Veidri fully loses herself until the sun rises. Becoming a towering creature that is remarkably similar to the Blight Ganons and the people of Hyrule view her as such(no I didn’t wanna do the malice texture all on her in the drawing). She tries to keep herself as far away from anyone as possible. The last thing she wants to do is hurt someone. Burning Chariot typically tries to ward people off from the area she’s in when Bloodmoons rise.

i swear to you all, i’m lovingly taking the zora out of nintendo’s hands because i’d love to explore and expand on their culture and history to show how they’ve managed to withstand the battering hyrule’s taken over the course of centuries
