i'm creating a rdr2 oc rn that is soooo beyond my paygrade. what happens when a kind, giving soul is pushed beyond what she can bear.

#dont mind me lore dumping in the tags down here #this angel doesn't even know her name. she has one and she's never know if it's really hers or her surname #she's kinda could be a romantic interest for arthur but in the same way marybeth is (so almost hinted at but not really)#ends up being more implied to be charles' love interst by the end instead bc i love charles very much #you'd do three missions with her. one as arthur and two as john #i thinking the one with arthur is her trying to do her first job but she's nervous and trusts arthur to watch her back #(spoiler she does great until the very end)#and then as john the first is her asking him to help her hunt a legendary animal #(post gang split she went off with charles and now wants to make something nice for him)#then the final john mission is that she joins them all to fuck up micah #(she does blame him for the gang split and the gang were the closest thing she had to family for a long time)#anyway she's special to meeee #nemos thoughts #rdr2 oc

so so so interesting to me how ppl gauge alternate worlds and its reflections on a character on that scale of morally good versus evil...

#saw a post that was like 'tim and dick are more likely to be evil than jason is' and their list of evidence was all the alternate worlds #where those two dont end up as they are #and although im not super familiar with tim's alternate selves (all ik is it doesnt turn out good for him lol) i dont love their analysis o #dick's alternate selves as evidence of him being that much closer to being 'evil' than jason is #1) i dont like that term of evil for any of the vigilante's #and 2) almost every single version of dick they mentioned was not dick actively choosing to be this darker version of himself #they were ones where he was forced/actively raised/manipulated into doing things not so good #i dont care to actively seek out the post again but they listed dick having been turned into a talon as solid evidence #of his leaning toward evilness compared with a version of jason being a priest in another world #idk it just seemed so strange to me that forced actions from an alternate world weigh on that scale of capableness of morality in a charact #esp when a current canon character like jason actively chooses to do bad stuff that can be considered downright evil #<- this isnt me condemning him as a character btw thats part of what i love about jason is that he intentionally chooses #to present himself in this violent and dramatic way as a show of his split from batman #i digress but still its just intriguing how ppl weigh that kind of stuff together

Writing up this BG3 storyline overview and just ruminating on how Serot is stuck in the worst group call known to man

#OOC / HOLLY.#maybe not the worst. he could have Bhaal in his head #instead it's the Emperor + Refhremmit + Meresankh #Refhremmit wouldn't be bad except they hate the other two so it's explosive tension sdlkfh #and Serot can't sleep after being reborn either which means no dreaming #which means they all have to talk with him spiritually or telepathically #and they can all hear each other's conversations with him and maybe? talk to each other? idk #they might be able to briefly block out or muffle each other to talk privately with Serot but like #this is a group call with shitty unreliable mute buttons AT BEST #he spends Act 2 especially feeling his head's gonna split like a melon sdlkgh #Raphael tunes out the Emperor in Act 3 and Serot almost whoops with relief #he hadn't realized how loud it was til then #Serot vc: I don't trust that histrionic billy goat as far as I could throw him but ngl his lips were lookin kissable right then #alright back to my post I want it done tonight

trying to work out the complex bullshit of 12yo girl friendship troubles should be like, a whole unit in an education degree tbh

I know there are several Watchdogs on the ship and you might not even meet them at all, but I heard that a guy named Teddy wanted to get a ring for Christmas to propose to his love interest. And I was curious to know if by any chance you and his friends, Pete, saw the whole thing. (I'm simply curious since I heard the whole thing when wandering around the ship and ended up eavesdropping.)

I wasn't there myself but I heard it from Pete. Speaking of... I wonder if Teddy's spoken to any of them since he became a scientist?

My biggest fic sin is not having a bunch of wips. It's getting 70-90% done with a fic and then not finishing it for 6-8 months.

Welp, I didn’t finish that one scene I wanted to write for both Julia Burnsides vs Canon Lore and the taz November celebration thing last night

But I did finally finish chapter 2 alskghdslgkhdglkhg

Next up, either that scene or chapter 3 lol

#Haven't decided yet because I'm typing this up right before I go to bed #and queueing it for the morning #lol #but Here There Be Gerblins is almost done because the Julia chapters are long as hell alskghdlgkhdlshg #Just finished the fight sequence with Magic Brian; and chapter 3 is going to be from that point to probably the destruction of Phandalin #and then chapter 4 will start with them being in the well #and I already have most of *that* chapter written if I'm splitting it up like that >:3 #or at least; a little over half to two thirds of that chapter written #I left off with them about to meet Avi when I was writing that sequence of scenes and I think I'm going to end that chapter right after they #drink Fisher's water and get all of those memories back #Then I've also already written the scene where they meet Lucretia; but I think I might rewrite it anyway?#But if I don't that means I have like; probably a quarter to a third of Moonlighting already written too because I'm planning on keeping the #Test of Initiation in there but modify it slightly to fit Julia in there too #Then again; would it be better to just do without it?#But the test is when Magnus starts his robot arm collection; so I gotta keep that in there #yeah; I'm probably going to keep that in there #anyway #good night says past/current me; good morning says the me when this actually gets posted #though I'll probably still be asleep when it does get posted lol #Gab gabs #Julia Burnsides vs Canon Lore

i came on here originally to say i was lonely and my head hurt but then some posts made me laugh so i’m reblogging them despite them being like the last thing i posted.
