i have not been to a concert yet :/ i went to a little student festival thing my university hosted for us and saw hunny + hayley kiyoko which was pretty neat

THIS ONES SO HARD I LOVE PACKAGING DESIGNS. i love how rhcp’s im with you disc looks like because it has the track list on it but it doesnt look bad like other discs who do that do. booklet design i love vices and virtues by panic at the disco and american idiot by green day. idk what this would fall under but i also love how stadium arcadium’s booklet is held in the case and how when you take it out you see a picture of the band. and there are too many albums whose art i love so i cannot elaborate on that without making this 5xs longer lmao

so first off, i did two wish rolls the other night and guess what? on one roll i got BOTH bennett AND qiqi!!!!!! Talk about... The biggest fight you've ever had??

Never been in a physical fight, but... I have been in some pretty big drama haha. 

So, oh god get ready for this one. I was sort of friends with this girl back in sophomore year of high school, we had met through my friend’s church, and me and her had kind of clicked you feel? She seemed SO genuine and cool, which is total bullshit, but back then man I thought we were like gonna be real close. She was super chill and we had a lot of the same interests, whatever. 

Anyways, I invite this bitch over to my house right. We’re having fun, facetiming guys, whatever. Being typical 16-year-old girls. Then she’s like “oh my god I love your dress!” Because my ass hadn’t put away my clean clothes yet and they were all sitting on the couch in my room waiting to be put away. And i was like yeah I like it too, obviously. She asks to try it on, I’m like sure. Go ahead. She tried it on, it looks good. Cool. Didn’t really give it a second thought after she took it off. 

Throughout the night or whatever she keeps trying to convince me to let her sneak out to go see some guy. I was like umm no I invited you over to hang out with me, not so you can sneak out lol. She got mad at me. Another thing she did was like keep hitting on my stepdad??? Like kept calling him a DILF and i was like WTF STOP RIGHT NOW 

The next day, before she left, she said something that pissed me off real bad. I don’t even remember what it was about, I’m pretty sure she had talked some shit on my best friend and I was like wtf bitch? And I remember I made up some excuse for her to leave ‘cause she had pissed me off so bad. I didn’t tell her that I was mad, I was just like “oh my mom said you have to go, sorry.” Whatever. As she’s leaving, this bitch shoves a pack of cigarettes in my hand and goes “omg hide this for me because my mom's gonna check my bag when i get home and that cant be in there.” And i was like wtfffff why did you even bring them. She just kinda like laughed or whatever didn’t answer my question, and then left. 

Later that day, i was finally doing my laundry. Go me. And I realize my dress isn’t there, and I’m like huhh?? So i check everywere, nope. Gone. I text her to see if she accidentally took it, she swore she didn’t have it. But that night I looked in my purse and legit $100 of my cash was gone. I was like this bitch fuckin’ stole my shit!! 

She still denied it. I literally was like bitch who else woulda stole my stuff, it was there when you came over & wasn’t when you left. I was kinda going off on her ahha i was being a bitch tbh. Anyways, she still denied it. Then her ass BLOCKED me on social media and posted a picture in my dress and holding up my cash. Thinking I wasn’t gonna see it. Thank god my friends came in fucking clutch and screenshotted it and was like YOOOOOOO. 

Anyways, so that was the beginning of the fight. I’m still blocked from like all her social media. My dumb ass started subtweeting her on twitter & i even posted an instagram picture of me, her, & my other friend at a Rockies baseball game (we were all in Colorado together) and i captioned it “shoutout to the blonde bitch on the right who stole my stuff” or something like that. And someone showed her, yeah yeah. You feel. Just dumb shit like that. 

So this hatred kinda lasted between us for a long ass time, and I saw her at a party a few months ago, and boy let me tell you... I about punched that bitch in the face so damn quick. I was trying to be the mature person and not start up shit from the past, whatever. But her ass started talking shit the minute I walked into that party and i was like wtf really. Nothing happened and she left the party eventually. Not because of me, but because her probation officer had called her and was like onto her or some shit, idk. 

She still hasn’t to this day admitted she stole my stuff... Even though I literally had proof... Whatever.

Basically yea why the fandoms or specifically 'harries' and 'louies' are responding the way they are to both h and l and for example I know that Louis' team is shit but the whole thing on why Harry's music is being boycotted or smth idk I'm confused sorry if I'm confusing you

So basically a lot of the bitterness stems from the vast differences in louis and harry’s management and promotional teams. harry’s been working on this launch with the azoffs since at least 2013, irving azoff is one of the most powerful people in the entertainment/music industry and having that family and their connections on harry’s side is incredible. His new pr firm represents lots of important and famous clients and they’re also very good at what they do. 

meanwhile Louis is working with a former Syco agent and simon jones, 1d’s old publicist, who has let louis look like shit in the media for two years now, and it doesn’t really make a lot of sense to people that Harry has such an amazing manager and promotion and louis seems to be stuck with a lazy manager and a publicist thats in a coma for 362 days a year. 

I’ll start with the response to solo louis first. To make a long story short the initial reaction to him was embarrassment, shame and mockery. His career announcement was published by dan wootton so most people already were skeptical about it being legit, and just 7 days later out of nowhere louis was suddenly announced to be performing his debut single on the british xfactor, and of course the show+Simon association already had people turned off and going as far to say that they wouldn’t even watch. At this point there’s so much passive-aggressiveness and doubt and pessimism being displayed towards him and I think a lot of it stemmed from people not having any faith in him from the beginning and thinking he never wanted to go solo/never displayed any interest in it and insisting if he did he wouldn’t do it the way he was doing it, and so on. Of course the entire tune of everything changed once we found out WHY he was doing this (Jay) and most of the skepticism and analyzation was dropped. 

Solo harry: since the beginning of last year 2016 it was pushed by bigger blogs in the fandom that harry had absolutely no solo music plans. There’s screenshots and receipts out there from bigger blogs insisting he didn’t want it and he would never do it. of course they were completely, embarrassingly incorrect. There had been just as much skepticism and doubt surrounding him and his plans/promo (up until sott was released) as there was with louis. But there WAS a lot of hostility displayed towards solo!harry and i still cant figure out why. 

Harry’s team is not picked apart as much as louis’ is, that’s a fact. that’s not to say it isn’t because there is a small niche group of mostly louies that are vocal about what Harry’s team is doing but it goes either praised or ignored by bigger platforms that sway the fandom conversation. 

As for the way specific fans are responding to things, i think it goes back to the discrepancies between the teams and watching one (sometimes two) do better than the other. 

Louies (+ a percentage a louie-larries) are generally more negative and critical toward harry because harry’s team has him in mind and absolutely nobody else, he is their #1 priority and HAS been for several years. He had a very successful, carefully crafted launch that had the entire world buzzing with anticipation without having even heard anything from him. Meanwhile louis has a manager that tries to kill two birds with one stone by taking advantage of his fans and using Louis to promote his other clients, his PR rep couldn’t give less of a shit about him, and it looks like he’s sticking with the label that fucked him over for 6 years which is a little hard to comprehend.

i can’t really speak for harries/harrie-larries because i’m..not one but i think it goes without saying they’re focusing all of their attention on him right now because he’s the current center of the universe in all aspects and it makes sense. i don’t remember the reaction to solo Louis but for some harrie-larries it’s generally positive and supportive while het harries don’t know a lotus tomatoson so i won’t go there

Larries, bigger blogs, the ones who refuse to ‘pick a side’ are generally swaying toward harry, and treat him with gentler hands than they do with louis. they usually don’t call out jeff on his bullshit as often as they do with russell. harry isn’t side-eyed as much as louis is. Harry conversations are definitely treated a lot more carefully compared to Louis conversations which are mostly free-game all the time.

The boycotting thing yesterday was something that someone’s anon made up and it spread super quickly that there was an organized boycott happening against harry’s album in protest to Louis and babygate. it isn’t real and it was never a thing but bigger blogs (read: closet harries) took it as fact even when they were approached by people saying they had misread the anon, and went on really weird angry rants threatening people to buy harry’s album and saying if you didn’t stream sott you weren’t a fan and lots of really strange, manipulative stuff that really showed a lot of blogs’ true colors.
