It’s good to let go sometimes and get your mind off things. It's a need at this point, too. You don't want to think about anything, just focus on one single task and get lost in it. Which might've been easier without the distraction by your side, currently nudging your elbow with his after his attempts to get your attention by bumping your knees together were unsuccessful.

"Jaeyoon, I swear, if I mess up again because of you, you're getting the silent treatment for a week," you huff, gently moving your fingers along the pliant clay spinning in your hands. It’s a thing you’ve wanted to try with your boyfriend for a while now. It was a cute idea - to create something together, something like a matching pair of cups. Something that would make you melt whenever you saw them and you could only imagine the soft smile Jaeyoon would wear anytime he saw them sitting on the table. Only the man in question must’ve been blessed by some sort of deity because he was a natural and had plenty of attention to spare to tease you.

“You wouldn’t,” he calls your bluff but lets you work in peace, “And you’re almost done anyway.”

He’s right of course, besides he was careful enough, but you’ll be damned if the thing isn’t as perfect as you can make it. Even though you’re well-aware of all the imperfections, you know you can’t expect it to be better as it’s only your first time trying it. You find comfort in the fact that despite him not struggling quite as much, his creation isn’t perfect either. Again, it’s only to be expected but it’s a chore to remind yourself of it.

With a sigh, you carefully remove your hands from your piece and let them hover awkwardly in the air so as to avoid dirtying anything - yourself or your clothes. 

“Happy?” he asks, studying your expression rather than the sculpted clay in front of you. Jaeyoon knows full well that no matter how much reassurance he’d give you, unless you were satisfied there was nothing he could do to help. 

“Happy enough,” you shrug in the end. He nods and calls over the lady who oversees the little workshop. You listen to her instructions on how the process is gonna continue but honestly you can’t wait to go wash your hands. The drying residue of water and clay leaves a strange feeling on your skin, one you don’t enjoy. 

You follow Jaeyoon to the bathroom, talking about the experience as you wash your hands with soap.

“I think decorating them will be more fun,” he grins at you, a dreamy look in his eyes. You meet them in the mirror.

“Any idea what you're gonna do?” you ask, and look down to check your hands are clean. Not the best idea. Your attention immediately drifts to Jaeyoon, who’s desperately trying to get some of the clay from under his nails. How did that get there you have no idea, but that’s not what’s important.

“No, but maybe… be cute…”

You barely pay attention to his voice. As much as you accused him of distracting you, you were plenty distracted without him even trying. Jaeyoon has nice hands, even nicer fingers. Long, capable of making you a mess. And watching them work over the clay, squeezing, plunging his fingers inside… You feel your mouth watering just the slightest bit as you look away. Not quick enough.

“I don’t think this is the time - or space - for that,” you hear him say next to you, biting his lip in vain attempt to stop the smile that’s tugging at his lips.

“Stop,” you whine, turning away to dry your hands, “I didn’t even say anything.”

“Your eyes did all the talking, baby,” he chuckles. You meet his gaze in the mirror again and huff a laugh too. He’s terrible.

“Not my fault the whole thing was so suggestive,” you grumble, trying and failing not to let his giggles influence you. Finally he also turns to dry his hands, trapping you between his body and wall before you can move.

“You just have a dirty mind,” he bends his head down to nip at your ear playfully before pulling away, “But I don’t mind.”

You absolutely don’t squeeze your thighs together and pointedly ignore your boyfriend as he laughs at you. There’s definitely no hint of blush anywhere on your face. Yet before you can leave, Jaeyoon wraps his arms around your middle.

“Let’s get some coffee so we have energy later?” he whispers, nosing your hair. It sounds too much like a promise - one you can’t deny shivering thinking about as much as you want to get back at him for teasing you. Maybe that’s also something to come back to later.

Hide and seek || Taeyang

Okay I loved writing this I hope you all enjoy since I adore this man and this is based off my favorite sf9 song. Enjoy my loves <3

Synopsis: The game of hide and seek is aggravating at this point, your true feelings are so plane in sight you are a terrible hider. You also cant seem to seek his own feelings when he makes it so clear his heart is only for you. How long can he play this game of hide and seek?

Taeyang would do anything to get one chance to know what was going through your head. You obviously have something on your mind, you want to say something to him but  you just can’t say the words and it leaves Taeyang baffled.  But you couldn't help it. He left you breathless, all you wanted to do was confess but it was just as if it was your first time meeting him. The air was awkward, your hands fidgeting with each other showed your nervousness whether you'd like them to or not. 

“I-” You started but couldn't bring yourself to finish your sentence.  Why did you stop? All you did was confuse him, yet even then he started to get the message. A smile spreading on his face got you even more nervous, he's so charming and it just leaves you baffled.

“Your ears are turning red, I can hear your heart pounding from here. This obviously must be something big.” He said with a chuckle. God dammit your nerves were not on your side today where they? A blessing and a curse you’re unbeknownst of is Taeyang knows your feelings for him, even if you try to hide them from him. Easiest thing to tell when you’re in love right? Or atleast Taeyang thought so. He has had his heart ready for you and has noted your mannerisms as you've started to reciprocate feelings, when you talk to Hwiyoung, you love talking with Hwiyoung but you don't look at him with the admiration you do Taeyang, it left Taeyangs heart flutter when he started to realize. All he wished is that you’d realize by now how his heart only looks for you.

As you stumble with your words it's so hard for him to act like he doesn't know and it's agonizing should he just tell you? Does he play this game of hide and seek or not? But you have to hide better if that's the case since he can see your true feelings without anything in front of it. He’s fueled with defeat when you opt not to confess today and change the subject. Ugh everything about this is so hard, it's so easy to tell his feelings for you as yours to him? With all your tries to confess with no result as he confirmed more and more that your feelings exist he can’t stop thinking when you’re finally his falling in love together.  But all that is done is your cheeks flushed red, you’re so shy he can barely control his heartbeat around you. Just like a magnet you always pull him in.

More in Taeyangs books of your obvious feelings.  Subtle things like when your fingers. Hanging out all it takes is your fingers gracing each other on accident, or holding your hand when it's been cold nights as he walks you home after hanging out with friends you jump so easily. You’re so jumpy and that single shocked look in your eyes each time gives him a second into your true feelings. With eyes like bambi you always make his heart stir.  All he wants to do is hug you at this point. You make him so happy he’d give you the world if he could. So why do you continue to play the game of hide and seek? He wants to give you your time so you can confess when you’re ready, but this game feels never ending. Was today the day? Would you finally confess? Unlike the other days your body was calm, except your eyes. Your eyes shaking left Taeyang nervous, ugh could you just confess? His heart waits for you. That's all he could ask for at this point before he takes the initiative himself. To act like he doesn't know is so blatantly on purpose he should get an award at this point for his acting career when everything in him wants to let him know his true feelings. But today your energy seems different, your true colors are so clear like a flower that has blossomed. His signature grin filled his face as you finally said the words you both have been waiting for.

“I have tried this so many times and backed out so many times, I’ve had feelings for you and had them for a while. It’s okay if you don’t like-” As you confessed you were easily cut off by your words of discouragement.

“Dummy I’ve had feelings for you this entire time of course I like you back.” He said ruffling your hair. You couldn’t help the redness that filled your face with his confession. But the joy on your face is evident. Same could be said of Taeyang as you could see the fulfilment in his eyes, he no longer had to play the game of hide and seek.
