You ever have to write a short paper on a material that's just so dry and empty and uninteresting you'd rather give yourself papercuts between your fingers?
#that paper is due friday and the article is just. so boring. i have no idea what to even write. 800 words on that bitch how the fuck??#meanwhile i have another paper due saturday for my cinema class - free subject. i thought of doing a bollywood movie but like -#i don't know enough academically/literary speaking about bollywood to write a paper#so i've been thinking about writing about doctor who bc ya know i can talk about dw all day long#but what aspect? the music was my first thought but there's also more global themes like humanity or hope ....#ugh. i'm just procrastinating.#i think i'm just going to go to sleep now and see when i wake up later what i'm doing (it is 4am after all...)#someone remind me why i decided to go back to university again?#(because i'd rather go crazy writing papers occasionally and attending interesting classes than push papers behind a desk all day long)#rapha rambles#academic adventures#tis the season of finals
