It was actually a funny thing for you since fans find it highly impossible that Charles could bag a chef as his partner. You wouldn't tell Charles but you admit that his cooking skills is not a major selling point to a lot of chefs out there.

Ever since MasterChef ended, you two have been open about going public. The relationship has been kept in wraps for over 3 years so Charles is feeling pretty confident that it has already been a tested by time. But more than that, Charles opened up how he wanted to go public so that he'll be able to showcase his support.

"I can't wait for them to figure it out just so I can tell the world that I am the luckiest guy in the world for having you as my partner" he clings to you as a loopy smile appears on his face.

"And I can't wait to showcase the world how you have been drastically improving with your cooking skills" you smile "You can be my sous chef when you are off season"

"I'm not really sure if you are being sarcastic but I'll take this as a win and I'm considering myself masterchef approved"

The Gordon incident

There were 5 missed calls from Charles which made you slightly worried. You were unable to answer the call since you were driving home. You immediately rushed to the apartment and you saw a weird scenario. Charles was spread out on the floor, face down and seems to be in pain.

"What happened to you?"you asked as you set down your bag at the counter.

"Leave me be, I am a disgrace. I have fallen from heaven." Charles moped.

"Seriously honey, what's going on. You are scaring me"

Charles only lifted his phone for you to look at. You looked at it and it was a screenshot from Twitter with a quote tweet from Gordon about the pasta incident.

"Charles, you can't bag a chef if your cooking is as disastrous as that. Call me when you have the time-Oh my god. Gordon did not just say that" you burst out laughing.

"Laugh in my misery, go ahead and laugh."

You have to contain your giggles but then you cannot seem to help yourself. Charles continued to mope at the floor how no one will believe that you are his girlfriend now.

"It was just one time that I wasn't able to cook pasta properly, one time"

"Yes honey but the internet is forever"

After a while, Charles got up and you were slightly confused when he started bringing out the pots and pans out of the cupboard. He took out some of the pasta and then he grabbed his apron.

"You are going to teach me and we won't stop till I get a good pasta redemption" Charles said with full determination.

There was a bright idea that suddenly popped in your head, "I think I can do something better than that"

You started to type in your phone and after a while your phone started ringing. A familiar face on the screen and Charles almost fainted after hearing the accent.

"YOU GOT GORDON ON SPEED DIAL TO TEACH ME?"

Dinner with the drivers

The Australian Grand Prix was the first time that you actually met Charles' friends and former teammates. Charles arranged for an exclusive dinner with the grid drivers of 2025 in your restaurant.

"How did you get a reservation here Charles? I have been trying to get one for my parents, they love the Chef here and supported her during the masterchef days"Oscar asked.

"I know someone" Charles was trying his best to suppress his grin and elaborate further.

"Make sure to tell me later, I would love to bring my parents here. Cheers mate"

Dinner went on progressively well. There were variation of cuisines available and it catered to their specific Even Lewis loved that the vegan option was vast and Nando even agrees that if this is how much food options vegan has then he can go Vegan.

It was now tiMe for dessert and some drivers opted for a coffee while some thinks they deserve for a cheat day.

"Is this Ferrari's new strategy to shaving weight?"Max joked "Make the other drivers eat more so the car will be unbalanced"

"Fred is getting more creative with his strategy eh. Last year with my appendix and this year with Charles' food"Carlos agreed

The whole table erupted with the antics but Pierre is dying with curiosity already. Charles kept on mentioning how tonight is a really important night for him to announce something. He can't forget this dinner since its all that Charles has been talking about ever since they arrived in Australia.

"But in all honesty, you said you have something to tell us Charles" Pierre wondered "I'm dying to know"

Charles excused himself for a second and all the drivers on the table watched as he went to the kitchen. You were still in your chef's jacket when Charles spotted you.

"Is it time already? Do I look okay?"

"You look more than gorgeous mon amour"Charles replied, giving you a soft kiss to the cheeks.

The two of you walked out of the kitchen with hands interlaced with one another. The table suddenly fell quiet as they saw the two of you approaching the table. Charles has the most smug grin on his face.

"Everyone, I would like you to introduce the talented and amazing Chef for tonight Y/N" Charles lifted your intertwined hands "And she's also my girlfriend"

The drivers were all silent and shocked as they pieced out everything together. Then the flurry of questions started.

"Did you try Charles' pasta?" "Were you poisoned to say yes to him?" "How on earth did Charles get a MasterChef winner" "Can you teach me how you made the appetizer with the pea and corn"

It was so funny and you two were in a long night for explaining. But as you sat down bext to Charles, you felt at ease. You know that you can handle anything together.

Y/NCooks the first two was taken two weeks into dating. We preferred staying indoors and the comforts of the house so we could have our privacy. Charles burned the fries and that's a photo of him insisting it was crispy not burnt // fast forward to two weeks ago when he insisted on cooking pasta and making pizza, it was pretty good. The pasta was actually al dente and the pizza was made from scratch.

Let's Actually Talk About The Issues With Vivziepop

Okay, first off, hello you beautiful people! Sorry about this foreboding title, but I needed to catch y'all attention on this so I can break down the issues that I and many have with "Hazbin Hotel" and "Helluva Boss" creator, Vivienne Medrano. Now I am sure you all on here are already aware of at least a couple of the controversies that revolve around this particular creator and if you have seen my posts floating around already, some have been greeted with the problems surrounding her social media presence and just her overall as a person. I know seeing another callout on her seems very very tiring at this point, but I felt that a lot of the current callouts missed key details that were not at all addressed or properly delved on. I plan on shedding light on my issues with her and I hope you get where I am coming from when I say that she sucks.

BULLYING

Okay, I am starting off with Vivienne's blatant use of bully mentality, her agreeing or encouraging her fans to call people who see flaws in her works sub-humans or harass those who find issue or simply jest about her works trademark cussing and and overcrowded designs. She has had this issue for YEARS and refuses to grow up and act her age despite many telling her, even her own fans at times, that she shouldn't be acting so unprofessionally. Clearly, she doesn't care and thanks to her fanbase caring more about her feelings than her being better she feels as though she doesn't need to change or do better. This goes for her friend group as well, who defend her tremendously and act as though she is never in the wrong. Name one time a friend of hers called her out for acting childish, I'll wait.

Now, you're probably wondering, "Wtf could they have done to warrant such a response?"

Criticism...That's all they did. (White Text is random peeps they would speak with or maybe mutuals)

Keep in mind...they used to be a fan as well. They were also a minor at this point

But, Viv doesn't care, this person's critical yet harmless tweets about her shows is what lead to her painting them in a horrible light and making them out to be someone who has attacked her personally and as "nasty".

Rich coming from Viv since she is completely fine doing exactly that for "Ava's Demon". Not only does she criticize it, she takes a shot at the creator as well, but GOD FORBID others do the same towards her.

And according to someone who knew her well, it's all cause they felt creeped out by her.

Her hatred for criticism is so prominent that Ima makes that a section of its own. But let's get back on the topic of bullying.

Vivienne has a fanbase filled to the brim with pushy and overall annoying individuals who have harassed, threatened, disrespected, and wished harm on many people, all cause someone had a negative thing to say about Vivziepop's mid af show. One of the earlier known instances is the one revolving around a MEME of all things.

This was what started it all, and it led to both parties blocking each other and people being mad pushy and calling them an idiot and the like over their opinions. Now look, their take and you're opinion on said take is fine so long as you stay respectful and humane about it all, but don't dogpike someone all cause they think HH sucks. And while Viv can not control her fanbase, for they are not a hivemind (some of y'all act it tho, ima keep it real) she is seen here ENCOURAGING the behavior. Tell me how someone who doesn't even like your trash ass show has the sense to tell people not to harass others, someone with a smaller following, but not your grown damn near 30 year old ass?

Oh, but people wanna act like she can handle criticism, is a sweet person, and grew from her past experiences. Fam, she was 27 in this screenshot [December 16, 2019] and has shown no change from 2013 to fucking 2024. Over a decade of the same petty ass behavior, and keep in mind, according to several of her old friends and workers, she is worse behind close doors. WORSE. She's already acting like she got no damn sense out in the open, imagine behind closed doors.

Last but not least, a glimpse into her outright blatant slander towards Dollcreep, a once good friend of hers that she even visited and spoke with frequently!

She stated that they fetishized pedophilia yet according to the victim and friends of the victim who were once friends with Viv as well, Viv actually threatened to end their friendship if he hadn't drawn NSFW art of her character and his character having sex [Addi was 15 at the time this was drawn]

On top of that, she liked the post, something she didn't need to do. The art also depicted things she had regularly drawn on her own. Addi being tied up forcefully, being sexualized, being harmed to some degree through bondage, etc. The claim that she forced DC to draw this out is backed up by her own art depicting similar elements. Also, if my memory serves me well, Viv and Doll were 17-18 years old [Doll was 17 Viv 18] and have a 1-year age gap. The way Viv frames things here is as if DC was way older and imposed some sort of power over DC, which sources say otherwise. If anything, Viv had a LOT of control throughout all of this drama, which deserves its own section.

I'll be making posts that talk about the different issues regarding Viv, so one post isn't too long (this one is already lengthy enough) and that you can just pick at one post targeting certain issues around this creator.

now for how he confessed

at first when you confessed he rejected you and didn't think much of it at all

until he started noticing the little things about you, he started obsessing with every bit of you

how you looked, how you dress, how you style your hair

but also how your under eyes crease when you smile

how you're very picky with your food, especially dessert, but you'd eat anything if someone handmade it for you

how you're so patient when you tutor even if the person is being a dumbfuck

after obsessing over everything you did for about a day or two he was sick of the weird, nauseating feeling in his stomach

it had been about three days since the confession. being rejected right on the spot, especially in that cold manner was painful to say the least. but you were sure you had gotten over it. and you hoped with all your heart that he too had forgotten. he had just stood there as you finished telling him how he made you feel and how you had liked him for a while now. he had a horrible scowl on his face, arms crossed and an uninterested posture. you already knew what the answer was when you were done but it hurt so much more when he finally confirmed it all. so it was surprising when you saw sae march up to you as you ate your lunch with your friends. he had the same horrible scowl on his face from before. and you could feel your stomach drop as he pulled your wrist in a gruff manner. careless. he didn't care for you. he generally doesn't like them and thinks they're cringe and annoying

he only uses pet names when he wants something or has something to tell you that he knows you'll be angry/annoyed about

like the fact he planned a whole trip to bora–bora in middle of march and didn't tell you a thing 😞

however, if you're open about how much you hate him doing things without involving you he will change his ways

I realized something about Ozzie's. most of the reason the episode worked and feels like it's one of three best episodes of HB (the other being truth seekers and harvest moon maybe coming in third) was because it seemed like it was paying off the plot that had been set up in season 1 to that point - Blitzo taking his stalking of M&M too far, Blitzo being confronted with the fact that his new life was pretty empty of any real bonds or intimacy despite his attempts to form them and Stolas reaping what he'd sown in regards to Blitzo not trusting he would ever want anything but sex.

but then you realize that Viv isn't capable of writing payoffs or conflicts competently, so moments that feel like a status quo change - M&M feeling like Blitzo has gone too far, Stolas&Blitzo's "relationship" being exposed in a prominent Hell club - have no consequences whatsoever. the same is true of Truth Seekers in hindsight - Blitzo hasn't changed his treatment to Moxxie in any substantial way (look at how he yells at him in exes and ohs and insults him pretty brutally in unhappy campers) since they both promised they'd try and work on it, and it's been what? like nearly ten episodes since then?

The same is true with Stolas & Blitzo. it felt like it worked so well in Ozzie's because it was paying off a season's worth of setup of Stolas using and demeaning Blitzo, and Blitzo being unable to put up with it any longer when Stolas suddenly acts like he has romantic intentions. but from what I remember Viv liked a tweet where someone said the moment was just 'Blitzo being annoyed Stolas tried to act romantic after the fact [when he didn't stand up for him in the club]'. And that's a legitimate thing for Blitzo to be annoyed about but not only was the scene very much not written that way ("don't act like what we have is anything but you wanting me to fuck you. you make that really clear, all the time") but it's a far weaker argument scene if so and a complete waste of the setup.

and in hindsight it's also clear that even if Viv had written the scene at the time to call Stolas out, her intentions for the argument in season 2 are much different - to end the Full Moon deal, not by making Stolas do any actual character development but just by retrofitting New Perfect Stolas onto the antagonist we started out with and acting like he meaningfully changed, when no one in this show ever meaningfully changes (closest they've managed is Blitz&Fizz making up, but Blitzo didn't do a whole lot to repair that relationship and was barely written as being in the wrong to begin with). I'll be surprised if the argument comes up in the Full Moon episode at all, especially since the show already half-assed a payoff to it in the form of Stolas' on screen for one second manipulative non-apology via text - they'll probably just beeline to holding Blitzo responsible for Stolas sexually coercing him and also for Stolas being the one to fail to protect his own magical grimoire properly

It's true, isn't it? Ozzie's was, in a lot of ways, that last shining moment of hope for the writing in the series. It felt like things coming together, like Viv finding her feet.

It wasn't.

hi so i'm not usually a big ts crit but it's so frustrating that we never get an update on how the finale is going. like i'm scared to ask but it would be amazing if we got even a two sentence tweet or instagram story about his progress, it would help us see where he's at AND probably motivate him but nope he continues posting random videos and enjoying other people's art/animatics- like it's been four months since the last tss video and i wish we got SOMETHING. ANYTHING. about the progress of the real storyline, like i'm holding onto my last thread here.

i mean today he posted another vine-reacting video and it just feels like he's grasping for views. he knows his vine videos do well and he puts roman on the thumbnail because he knows that'll hook people in. it feels cheap, it feels annoying, how so far in 2024, there's been one singular sanders sides video and it's been INCORRECT QUOTES.

Ok, your thoughts about:

Mike claiming that his relationship with El is love at first sight, when the duffers made clear that they don't believe in it and they made fun of that trope with Argyle and Eden (while Mike is really annoyed by it behind them)

What do you think about the difference between mileven break up scene and byler rain fight, with Will being devastated and El hanging out and being really happy with Max after. Why do you think they decided to joke about it even when all other couples that broke up had been taken serious, like stancy.

About the fact that they made Max assure El that Mike would be at her door crying for forgiveness and at the same episode Mike goes to Will's door instead to scream "I'm sorry" and actually accepting that what he said to Will was wrong instead of blaming other as he did to El ("Max corrupting her" instead of understanding that she is mad because he lied).

Are you satisfied with the fact that the duffers used Will's feelings to save Mike and Els relationship?

The fact that El NEVER once said something that she likes about Mike or complimented him or tried to know what he likes or his interests, what leads to Mike to think that to her, he is just a random nerd and she is going to leave him for whatever reason (his words before Will's speech to him)

The fact that for some reason, Mike hides from Will what's the real problem in their relationship and says to Will that he need to say something but if he said "that thing" he would lose El, even tho he just needs to say "ily" and there is no reason to believe he is going to lose her, since she asked him for it.

Why do you think Mike acted the way he did with Will at the airport if it's confirmed that Mike don't know and don't even suspects that Will is gay nor in love with him?

What do you think about the writers choice to have a focus on Els memories with Max with Max saying "there is more to life than stupid boys" right after the monologue and El and Mike aren't talking after what's suppose to save their their relationship problems.

There are more things I would like to ad but those ones I really want to know what you think. I'm asking you this because you look like you are going to awser seriously without being bitter about it. Also, if you want to know bylers thoughts about all of this, let me know, I would explain to you our interpretation of it.

1) I don't know if it was actually love at first sight, I think Mike just said that because he was trying to say anything to save El. I do think he truly loves her, but he fell in love with her more gradually throughout season 1, not at first sight. And in hindsight, sometimes when you really love someone, it feels like it was immediately when you met them even if it wasn't. So Mike might have just felt like he loved her immediately and said it that way in a high pressure situation, that doesn't mean it's completely accurate to what actually happened, memories can be unreliable too. And the Duffers say lots of things, and sometimes they are inconsistent. That happens, they're human. Also, where's the proof that they said this? I think you're probably talking about that tweet with "wrong answers only", but how do you know the Duffers wrote it and not a different employee who believes differently than them? And I don't think Argyle and Eden were making fun of the trope, they hooked up. Even if it was meant to make fun of the trope, that doesn't make it untrue for Mileven. But like I said before, I do think he was being hyperbolic.

2) I think it was because they were more making fun of Mike specifically than Mileven/their relationship. And S3 was playing on the summer blockbuster sort of thing, so it was kind of different than the other seasons. And the rain fight was probably from Will's perspective, and so it was trying to portray how he was feeling. Mike was caught off guard by El dumping him and probably didn't really believe it at first, but Will believed everything Mike said and took it to heart. So I think that's the difference. Additionally, the Mileven breakup wasn't meant to be serious because they just got back together later that season, and still obviously liked each other while broken up, wanting to get back together. The break up wasn't serious because it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, they still acted like a couple and loved each other, and they got back together pretty quickly.

3) Again, because the break up wasn't serious, they both knew they would get back together. And Mike did apologize to El and tell her the truth later, he was just scared because Hopper literally threatened him. What was he supposed to do when a grown man threatened him? And of course Mike went after Will because he was visibly upset. El ran off giggling with Max, and Mike was surprised and confused about what was happening, so he needed some time to process it and vent to his friends. The urgency in the scenes are completely different. Mike could tell he really hurt Will, but El was fine, so why would he run after her? They were different circumstances, so I don't think it's really fair to compare them.

4) Yeah, I think it makes sense for the time period. He substituted El's name in place of his to be able to get out his feelings without outing himself. He doesn't know how people might react to finding out about his sexuality, it's the 80s, the height of the AIDS epidemic, he's scared. He just needed to get closure somehow, knowing Mike will never feel the same way about him, in a way that didn't possibly risk his safety. And *Will* didn't fix their relationship, he didn't know what Mike was going to say to El, he just tried to boost his confidence a bit. Everything Mike said to El was his own feelings, and repairing what happened in the Mileven fight earlier that season. Will had no idea what the problem between them was, so he couldn't have directly fixed it, and he didn't, he just helped a tiny bit, like any friend would. So yeah, I think the way it was written makes complete sense.

5) I think when we see them in the show they have a lot going on dealing with all the Upsidedown plot related issues, is there really a good moment for her to start listing everything she likes about him? They're going through literal hell, so of course they aren't just spending time complimenting each other. She said she loves him, he should know that without being given a list of her favourite qualities about him.

6) Mike was scared of losing El, and maybe worried if he said the problem out loud, that would make it feel more real. Will isn't entitled to any information that Mike isn't comfortable sharing with him, and they had drifted apart a lot since S3. Mike is just a 15 year old boy, not all of his decisions necessarily make perfect sense, he wasn't comfortable telling anyone, he struggles to express his feelings.

7) Because they hadn't seen each other in so long, and barely kept in touch. It would be pretty awkward seeing an old friend again after months of trying to call them and not having them reach out. Will could have called Mike, but he didn't, so they drifted apart. Their connection is just a lot weaker than it used to be because of all the things they've been dealing with. Being awkward around a friend you haven't had contact with for a long time is completely normal.

8) That scene was about Max and El specifically, so of course it focused on them. And that line was about how platonic relationships are just as important as romantic ones, they don't have to be mutually exclusive, El can have both kinds, and both are important. Romantic relationships aren't better than friendships, they're equally as valuable, both kinds of love matter and can make El's powers stronger. And Mike and El were talking a little after, he was the only person she talked to at all, so clearly she feels safe to open up to him after all the traumatic stuff she just went through.

So those are my thoughts and interpretations, I don't think any of those events in the show proves anything about Byler.

Maybe it's a controversial take but i don't think Alicent begging Rhaenyra Is the problem per sé,as much the facts this is a symptom of her characterization this season,see the "spot del profumo Giorgio Armani" moment last week. It's probably because the showrunners have such invasive access to the fandoms, but I have the impression that this Alicent (but really all the characters) was written based a lot on what the fans of the character tweeted. And since the general consensus was "poor sad girl with big brown eyes. Just a girl victim of her lesbian crush 🥺" they built her on that (which makes me think how much the character of Alicent was written thinking about how to exploit Olivia Cooke's erotic appeal,but that's another topic). And I repeat, it's not just a problem with Alicent but with the entire cast, see also the Daemon subplot which was essentially written like this to please those who during the first season were annoying because "ehhh problematic!1!1!" and wanted to see him tortured. In general I agree with you in saying that it's worse than season 8: the quality dropped quickly and everything feels extremely empty aestetich. Idk maybe I’m stupid but can someone explain it to me like I’m 5 years old how Hannah has enabled or how her audience has pushed TERF ideas or rhetoric? Because it’s the one place the dots are not connecting for me every single time this conversation gets rehashed. However, I think that when you speak a lot about feminist issues, etc. (all very important topics to discuss!) sometimes terfs and radfems just come into your community because they think you are all talking about the same things and have the same ideology. But, as your community grows and as that portion of your fanbase starts concerning people, I think it could be good for CCs to at least be aware of it. Personally, I have more issue with certain fans than with hannah herself but I do think some of her mods are shitty and she needs to stop it with the idea that "any friend of hers that makes a big mistake is no longer a friend" because that's just not going to hold up for very long in the real world.

As per her reaction to the george situation: yeah it was incredibly shitty and honestly I think she could have been fine waiting a bit before making responses because her quick jumps to conclusions (and shooting friendly fire at sylvee in the process) without talking to anyone involved first was a very foolish thing to do and disappointed a lot of people.

I feel like a broken record for constantly having to say this but I get that these female CCs want to do good by the women in the gaming space, i get it. But sometimes they make impactful mistakes and publicly react to situations poorly and I will say that about any cc who I think makes a poor call, guy or gal. I will always have empathy for people reacting badly to initial news dropping like this because I don't know what these people have gone through in their lives, but what I don't have as much empathy for is people immediately broadcasting their initial emotional thoughts all over twitter and then backpedaling when they realize they were being too extreme or emotional. I have criticized Dream for that, and I will criticize Hannah for that.

And you're right not everything needs to be a moral discussion! I don't really agree with people that are trying to heavily mix these two discussions because I honestly don't think they really coincide that much anyway.

I will never say her reaction is "terf-y" because it's just not. These are two separate discussions in my mind so to put them together in that way just isn't something I necessarily will agree with. And I've said this probably 10 times at this point, that I have never once said Hannah intentionally fueling terf/radfem rhetoric in her fanbase. I'm saying it's a somewhat inevitable byproduct of being a large female CC who speaks on feminism and misogyny on the internet. First of all I just wanted to commend you for becoming a TS hate blog despite the annoying fangirl swarm you're probably going to face. You're truly doing the lord's work.

I saw that you said you were her a fan of hers but then realised who she was after her breakup with Joe. I was curious about how long you'd been a fan and how involved were you in the fandom and what was it that caused this 180? Was it one thing that just shook you out or was it little things added up?

For me, I had always considered myself more of a casual fan of her music but never got into the fandom side of it because I always thought of swifties as pretty fucking annoying. However, I've had mutuals through the years who were more in the fandom so I sort of observed from the outside. As for her as a person, I never went to bat for her but I always felt like I gave her a sense of grace and understanding despite her being 7 years older than me and far more privileged. For example, when people accused her of always playing the victim I always thought it was understandable because when you're young you often only see things from your own pov, but with age and maturity you start seeing the bigger picture.

My issues with her started in 2020, the year after she made a documentary where she shed her white women tears and proclaimed she wanted to be politically active and use her voice for good. But when the opportunity came with covid, BLM and the election she did less than the bare minimum, a couple of tweets and some cookies iirc. After that her shitty allyship continued to annoy me especially after that Ginny and Georgia tweet, but what was really grating on my nerves was the way her fanbase and the media were hailing her an artistic genius for the littlest things. She's always been one of the poster girls for white mediocrity in the entertainment industry but it was taken to whole new level with her directing her "short film". I don't know what makes good music, but I do know little more about movies and directors and all too well was just so meh and bland and basic and the fact that Sadie and Dylan are both brilliant actors yet their performances in that "film" were so lackluster tells me she does not have what it takes to be a director. Yet she was invited to one of those variety talks and was campaigning for a Oscar nomination? And will apparently direct a movie sometime in the future? Has the world lost it's fucking mind?

I started fangirling her in 2016 when the whole snakegate thing happened. With reputation especially, when she wrote those monologues about her being comfortable being her ownself at the end of her 20s and wanting a normal life and privacy outside media scrutiny. Her talking about how she used her "taylor swift sqaud" to heal her past insecurities not knowing how it could affect someone who still doesn’t have that type of friendgroup, her deciding to keep her relationship private instead of making it a circus for the media. You know, you could see the personality growth in her at that time. To me she really felt like a very matured person.

Even though there were still lots of things (that you talked about) used to make me very uncomfortable, like that ginny and georgia tweet and her posting that black image of blm trend with THIRTEEN HEART EMOJIS (so embarrassing and weird?)

Moreover, I never liked any of her self directed music videos. Like those were so bland and boring and never fit with the music. But people still praising her and giving her vmas and shits was just a confirmation that nobody cares about art these days, they only want the clout from her name. Her music is also very boring. Hi!! So I have a question. So many comments under taekook videos will be mad at us seeing them as a couple. As usual. And they often will say that taekook have said they see each other as brothers. Has this actually happened? I've been a taekook since 2017 and can't recall them ever saying that about each other individually. It's such an annoying argument. I'm guessing people saw taekook call the whole group their brothers, they assume that means it 100% means that each other are included in that? Idk it seems like a weak argument because what are taekook gonna say? "These guys are like my brothers except my boyfriend Jungkook/Taehyung." I honestly don't have a memory of the two of them calling each other brothers, I think it's a narrative that goes around quite a bit in the fandom (I've been part of it since 2019) that they want to label everything about them as "brothers". There are many official contents where they describe each other with different names such as "hyung", "my safe place" "Jk's", and even, if we want to add, the phrase "when you said you loved me and a accept my love" written by Jungkook on taehyung's Winter package. A very brothers thing obviously ...

It's true that also they are brothers because bts are a family, but that doesn't mean they act like brothers in their private life or in what they want to show us (and we see it last year).

You're right, it's a weak argument because people tend to deny even what they've always had in front of their eyes. I believe that very often some are in a denial phase, just yesterday I saw a twt big account post a tweet referring to the "hello Kitty plushie" issue and immediately rushed to write "no shipping under the comment" when for the photos of travel show did quite the opposite.

Hi Emma! I really value your opinion, and I was just wondering about your thoughts on everything? I.E. the fandom, Louis… You always seem so levelheaded compared to others so I wanted to ask. Have a good night!

My only real thoughts about it are that it's really tiring to be in this fandom and see what's happening with Louis. On principle, I'm probably an exception to a lot of Larries in that I don't really care if he wants to dunk on Larries, though he chose a really stupid way to do it. A large group of these fans try to make everything he does about Harry and disrespect him regularly. For me, that's not the part that really bothers me.....it's everything that comes along with it.

I wish I understood the contradictory choices that Louis makes regularly but I just don't. He wants success and enjoys success, but he continues to surround himself with incompetent team members who don't promote him properly. He wants a broader audience to enjoy his music, but nobody outside of his existing fanbase ever hears about his music unless it's from fans' efforts. He wants people to take him seriously as a musician and is annoyed by Larries, yet he pushes other aspects of his personal life to the forefront of his public image through interviews, his documentary, and tweets. He's proud of his most recent album and feels that it represents him as an artist, yet he cuts those songs from his setlist on tour and performs covers instead. He cares more about touring than anything, but he frequently skips songs from his setlist, doesn't put effort into his stage outfits (or even hair sometimes now), and has said several times that he's hungover and not feeling his best during his shows. He adores his fans and treats them incredibly well most of the time, but the fan interactions that frequently get traction with a broader audience are things like yesterday's rude tweets or him aggressively flipping off fans who tried to rip his clothes at the barricade (as deserved as that may be, it's not really a good look).

It's just.....so incoherent? Like I truly don't understand why he and the people around him make the choices that they do based on what he himself says he wants and cares about.

He's playing some massive venues on his Latin American tour, which was just announced, and yesterday was the perfect opportunity to talk about that and push how excited he is about it during his Twitter reply spree. Instead, even 24 hours later, all people are talking about is his reply to that Larrie when he could have just fucking ignored that stupid ass tweet. A bunch of things related to that tweet were trending on Twitter - along with "Freddie" because of his two tweets about his supposed child - and now there are articles about another Larry denial. Is Louis on tour? Has he put out any albums? Is he still a musician at all? Nobody in the general public has any idea, but at least they know that he denies Larry on a near yearly basis and that he has a kid that is apparently his twin. Congrats!

And it's annoying because solo Louies are so busy enjoying that a Larrie got publicly dunked on that they can't even see that this kind of shit actually doesn't help Louis at all. Oh, sure, it's driving away fans! And I know that a lot of solo Louies think Louis would be better off without Larries (and trust me, I feel that about some Larries too when they're making everything about a relationship instead of his career) but the reality is that Louis shouldn't drive away fans. There are ways to deal with annoying fans that don't include publicly degrading them and making MORE fucking headlines about rumors that you supposedly want to die out. If he was actually trying to expand his fanbase and then tried to get rid of fans that aren't here to appreciate him as an individual or his solo career, I could respect that.....but that's not what's happening. Instead, he drives away existing fans and does nothing to add new ones.

As someone who has loved him since 2012 and wants nothing more than his success, watching his lost potential over the course of so many years has been one of the worst things ever. I see things like what happened yesterday and see the reactions to it (both people getting angry and leaving AND people rejoicing because they're too short-sighted to realize that this doesn't solve problems and only hurts Louis in the long-run) and I just roll my eyes. I'm not upset, I'm not angry, I'm just tired. It's hard to keep saying that you want better for someone who doesn't seem to want better for themselves.

I've wanted to write something about Reita's passing since a couple weeks ago. I was seriously considering chucking this in my drafts forever, with my brain saying things like I'm not like a diehard fan, my thoughts probably don't matter.

However, rereading the translations of the tributes and feelings of his fellow juniors, and drawing a tribute piece desperately in-between real-life commitments, I felt the need for my words to go somewhere.

I got the news slightIy after 1pm. I was working from home, eating my lunch.

Scrolling through social media, I saw the tweet. Taisetsu na oshirase. Couldn't mean anything that good.

I wanted to think the news was them disbanding.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the kanji on the announcement, which to my Mandarin-trained eyes, read as "asleep, forever".

I wanted Reita to pop out and say, no it's not true.

I checked his SNS and saw he just tweeted last night, in the early hours. Surely, this was some cruel, cruel joke.

Anger that this happened to Visual Kei, anger that my world, my working world was still running as per normal.

The rest of the working day was a blur.

As someone who has to check on social media and the news for work, it was insanely difficult for me to pretend everything was normal. My arms felt heavy as if sadness were a weight that pressed on my shoulders... and anger boiled over.

I don't want to see a social media obsessing a place giving out free ice cream scoops today!! Fuck the ice cream!! Reita passed away, he's gone, doesn't this world see that this man is gone? Can't anyone see that this man I believed would be around forever was gone?

So deep in grief I was, that I even shared about his death with colleagues. Of course, it wasn't information that had significance to them, but I just wanted someone, anyone to receive my grief.

Someone to hear about how unfair this was, from the metaphorical rooftops.

Doomscrolling just added to all the sadness I was experiencing, with no clarity to the confusion. I don't understand. I don't understand, I screamed into the digital void.

I still knew that he liked motorbikes, worked out, had a really cool brand called SNAKEDLOWS. Even if I didn't know every moment and every little fun fact about him, even if I mixed up his and Aoi's voice on the RadioJack clip my bestie references to me (damn that Sandra!), Reita was cool to me.

Indeed, I didn't.

Even though I had not followed The GazettE that closely, I still knew everyone by name, by role.

I still remember fondly that one screencap of a host asking him if he always had his noseband on. He responded: of course not, back in school(?), he had a black one. That will be my fondest memory of him.

Reita, and the rest of The GazettE were like old friends to me: that even if you didn't knew exactly what they were up to, the world doesn't feel the same if you didn't knew what they were up and doing.

I had fully expected them to exist forever together, you know? They were supposed to be 5 old men in a nursing home together, all senile, crinkly, and joking about the good old days. Who knows, in adult diapers, and attempting to croak out a ballad at the 4pm karaoke session in between feeding time or nap time or whatever, diaper changes and stuff. Annoying the staff for fucking pretending the games room was their changing room or Budokan, Maybe the staff would have to remove anything that remotely reminded them of being a band before they tear the nursing home down attempting to throw a live there. That's what I honestly expected.

We can probably all agree: there's no other guy with a noseband that will be as celebrated, cherished, and remembered. Even if it fucking sucks for me to say that he's gone, I still don't believe I have to talk about him in past tense...

The GazettE is the benchmark that every bandman wishes they could be. Of course, you had the legends, but this was the band that most younger bandmen would celebrate and emulate with incredible openness and candour; they are constantly on the lips and minds of anyone in Vkei.

Reita was the senior and friend and respected hero to my heroes. As someone who got into Vkei around the tail end of the Neo-Visual Kei era, it was obvious that The Gazette was everything a bandman could hope to be. PSC owned some of the most influential bands of that era. Some of the folks, such as Kagrra, and Alice Nine, worked closely with them or were at least, out there in the Vkei trenches with them at some point.

As someone who loved Kagrra and Alice Nine, seeing the members tweet about Reita killed me inside. Especially for the Kagrra members...how do you cope seeing your junior pass so young, when your own vocalist did, too?

And outside of it, too - in my country where Vkei hasn't had much of a hold in recent years, I'd run into or see GazettE fans in random places, like a train station, or while getting lunch at work. Cosplay acquaintances that rarely spoke about Vkei, spoke about The GazettE when he passed.

But alas, none of these, none of our sadnesses, none of our most desperate cries will bring him back. In a scene that sees so much talent come and go, so much news that breaks people's hearts, in a scene so fragile and full of reminders of our own mortality, how do we go on?

Sadie's guitarist, Tsurugi's (fun fact, Tsurugi is also in a band called RAZOR. RAZOR's vocalist Ryoga, was previously of BORN. BORN was under the same label as The GazettE then!) words at their comeback live on Mar. 17 resonated with me a lot, even now. Here's a rough translation:

I suppose this is the kind of time where I want to remember that this genre is still kicking. People care about it, even if it isn't all the same, even if it feels like things changed, and the areas and bands of focus have changed.

I brought myself to Japan again this year, for the first time in several years, and for the first time in my life, I attended Visual Kei events in Japan, 11 or 12 years after I first fell for the genre. I realised how much and how little I knew all at once, but I went home with so much hope.

”You may be in various physical conditions, but you are alive, and that is why we can meet again like this. I felt that we don't have to push ourselves, we just have to keep living and we can have a day like this. Many bands take a break or break up nowadays, but as long as they are alive, we may be able to see them again. We didn't know when we would be able to come back. But I guess that's the connection, isn't it? Please continue to live with us.

Thanks to The GazettE, their juniors, friends and contemporaries worked hard to become the bands I hold close to my heart.

Because of a scene influenced, energised and coloured by them, I ran into friends and formed my lifelong passion for Visual Kei, a genre that's so colourful and beautiful, despite every death, and every departure.

Bandmen sharing their good memories of him, bandmen encouraging and cheering fans on, all connected by the same thread.

If you're looking for a sign tonight to hang on, I hope this will be it. I myself am not doing so great, but, if my words can encourage someone here, somehow to hang on, then that will suffice.

I'm going a little off-tangent, but, maybe that needed to be said.

My advice for all of you feeling lost and in grief is to not fight your feelings. However, with each day, hang on and live to see the possibilities. Tsurugi was right. Maybe it's enough to be alive to meet your idols again. The GazettE will continue to move, so let's move along with them - not moving away from grief, but growing around it.

Reita would want that for all of us, to keep living strongly, to keep GazettE in our minds, and most importantly, to keep going. Even if you can't make it down right now to see your heroes, support them the best way you can, through your kind words, actions, thoughts, drawings, and above all - love for fellow family, friends and fans.

I believe in signs and things like that, so I'm gonna share some stuff that may be comforting to some of you, along with my personal experiences with grief, loss and comfort. Nothing religious or anything, but if you don't like that kind of stuff then you can stop here. I'll share the rest of my thoughts below.

Once again, only proceed if you're comfortable with me talking about stuff like signs and all that.

A year ago, 5 days from Reita's date of passing, I lost a close family member - my dad. It's a painful process, I spent so many years caregiving for him alongside my sister.

I want you to believe that someone has comforted the members, given them a hug, and told them that their best friend, their eternal member, is in a good place. And that he's always gonna watch over them.

When people came to the funeral, while it was so sad, there were times when his good friends/students came. And there was one of his best friends. I usually keep my distance, but at this moment, I felt myself going forward, hugging her, telling her that my dad was in a good place.

My dad was likely speaking through me, and perhaps if that happened to the boys, that's really probably Reita speaking to them through that, as well.

Earlier in March, I had visited Hide's grave, yes, X Japan's Hide.

(*Important: Hide's family allows for visitations from fans, so long as you do not bring offerings, so this is permitted. If a grave of a bandman has not been publicly revealed or you were not given permission to visit or seek out the grave, do NOT trespass or do so.)

Running up to the grave, I sobbed, I sobbed so much and so loudly.

I was feeling a little sick so I didn't know if I'd make it, but I did...and it was beautiful, the entire process.

I was afraid that it being in a rather far-flung corner of Kanagawa, I wouldn't be able to make it with no one around, but it turned out it was kind of a period in time where many Japanese people who were doing grave visits. When I got off the bus stop, I decided to chat up a kind Japanese obasan who happened to go grave-visting that day. I was surprised that I was able to understand her well enough... she even spoke and knew a bit of my mother tongue, which she studied for years! She also clearly gave me directions to his grave....it was so serendipitous.

I told him to watch over my heroes, who I was in part here for, not so much myself.

The wind howled in my face as if he were saying that he heard me and wanted me to dry my eyes.

I felt that he was teasing me a little for crying so much just meeting him for the first time. "What's with the sad face?" I could almost hear it in the air.

I managed to finish what I needed to say, dry my eyes and compose myself for a few minutes, right before passersby came down the same way. They also took photos of the grave. I offered to help them take photos of them, to which they declined, but they offered to take photos of me instead.

I was incredibly lucky, but I'm more than certain that I was being watched over.

So for Reita, surely he must be watching, for you all. He's no deity, surely, but he's in a place he can hear you. Like Hide, your thoughts will reach him wherever you are.

So live strongly, ok?

You must continue living your life because that's what he would have wanted, for you to keep The GazettE's legacy alive, like his wishes, and also help another fan or friend get through another day.

The GazettE is not the same GazettE without his presence, but similarly, life is not the same if you are not here. Hang in there, friend. Sending you love.

the weed video is so funny to me, I wasn't in the fandom back then so I don't really know how the fandom reacted. But looking at it now is so funny considering how he has a song high in california and even harry has admitted doing drugs not to mention his lyrics. but the funniest part about that video is that zayn says "i know you like dick"

Hello anon!! This was meant to be a lot shorter, but… yep. Here we are. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these but, well, welcome to the show…

It was sooooo clearly planned. And hilarious. And at the time, because a lot of us were on the younger side, we were shook at this video. tried to rationalise it by them being excited about the actual food chicken, not coke, and there were more than a few people who unstanned. People burned physical concert tickets, deleted their blogs, sent nasty tweets to the boys… It was not something we were expecting, particularly because it just came out of the blue one day, and a lot of us were too young to have dabbled in the devil’s lettuce.

but yeah… louis filmed for a long time, clearly putting the joint in the middle of the frame multiple times so we wouldn’t miss it, spoke super loudly so we’d know it was him, kept talking about how they were smoking weed, and basically removed all plausible deniability. and there wasn’t really too much attempted clean up afterwards. things just kinda kept going on as normal, even after the video was leaked.

SC did a half assed attempt at saving face, Liam made a series of tweets to try and save their butts (as per usual, he cleans up haha), TMZ said One Direction’s lawyers were getting involved because someone stole that video and leaked it (which like… how? It was literally filmed on louis’ phone, and im sure there would be much more interesting things to leak off there), and then articles about how upset Harry was at Louis for the whole thing were planted the next day to a) push larry further apart and continue their enemy thing, and b) push harry for another reason for a solo career.

BUT the thing is… SC’s statement, came roughly a week after all the articles had come out. It wasn’t straight away. And you wanna know why I think that was?

Plainly put, it’s a short speculation piece about whether or not One Direction were still happy. That was a massive thing that came out of that video… was just like, Zayn and Louis being annoyed that they were putting out ANOTHER book, and that it was just the same old boring stuff that the fans had seen and read all before (I have all the books still, and yes, he is correct). I think that probably encouraged a statement from SC, because what’s the best way to show you’re unhappy and wanna step away from your brand and get back at your big boss who has full control over your career? You guessed it! A scandal.

While they certainly were smart enough to do this while in a country where it is legal to have a small amount of jazz cabbage for personal use, to avoid further complications with the law etc., and never actually using any explicit terms like “cocaine”, it got them off the hook enough that this leak was successful while still protected them from “going too far”. And I 100% stand by that it was Louis who planned to film and leak it, and that’s why “I know u like dick” came out, too.

Precious Mr Tomlinson has always been a bit of a mastermind with a master plan, and he knew that by posting this, the media would jump on them doing drugs more so. That was meant to be the main feature, with a splash of hating their brand and wanting to do more for fans. But for us Larries? Well… zayn saying he knows louis likes dick and then a loud louis cackle was pretty huge. Louis encouraged it and probably suggested zayn say something along those lines just to stir the pot (pun intended) some more. This video truly had the trifecta: hating SC/the 1d brand, doing drugs, and encouraging gay rumours.

And theeeeen SC hit louis with a punishment, which was Eleanor was to accompany louis for the rest of the tour because she’s a “great influence on him” (lol) which was announced on the same day of SC’s statement (coincidence?).

That same article then commented on how louis was so upset about the video because he was trying to make a deal to buy the Rovers at that time and didn’t wanna jeopardise it (he knew that vid wasn’t gonna jeopardise shit lol).

I think Louis saying the N word (which we all argued about whether he said it or not for ages bc damn louis) is totally inexcusable. That was by far the worst thing that came out of this video, and the media noticed it too. I don’t think he intended on it being in the video leak, because regardless of how much he wanted to piss off SC, I don’t think he’d ever intended to hurt anyone else and him saying that obviously did. I won’t excuse that and I kinda think well did he even watch it back before leaking it? Did he rewatch it still stoned and didn’t think twice about it? Either way he shouldn’t have said it regardless of being on camera or not and he did really hurt a lot of people. It was stupid.

The vid still available online is cut exactly at 5 mins, and is chopped up and doesn’t show the whole thing (I think there was a longer version somewhere that came out too and it was like over 8 mins but didn’t have the cuts in it? Idk I remember there being a longer one that disappeared???) but yeah… it truly was a time.

revisiting the stranger writers 2019 letter; what it could be hinting about will, and a little dive into the byers

something that everyone seems to skim over is the first tweet in the letter's thread:

like... if it is "until you get back"..... sounds like the "something" will had coming involved going somewhere. we all know will already had significant trauma in his life before 1x01, so if he was going somewhere for a little bit for his mental health/to "fix" him or whatever tf, it's kinda convenient that it's the same time he goes to the UD. like something was preventing him from doing what he was going to.

i'm sure this is about jonathan's mixtape since music is something that can last before you get tired of it. and i think it's interesting that mike made the dnd campaign and him saying that it took two weeks to plan means that it probably doesn't take that long to plan usually.

so what if mike also knew what will had going on and wanted to make a good enjoyable campaign for him with the rest of the party before he left? and mike being super serious about it and wanting to make sure it's finished before they leave/wanting 20 more minutes.

also since will only tells mike what's up in his life:

it makes sense that mike is the odd one out and is the most intense about trying to find will out of everyone in the party.

also my mom has pointed out before that yes while joyce has every right to be that crazy in s1 since her son is missing, she says it's like something else happened to will before the series that we don't know yet. and i have to agree like the energy joyce and jonathan have is this weird unspoken knowing like an "oh shit it's happening".

I don't know if it's just me but Charles doesn't seem to be happy since the Monza GP. I don't know if he saw Carlos's parents comments but there's something weird going on with Charles and Carlos. I hope I'm wrong, but....

On the Singapore race... it was painful to see Charles having to sacrifice a possible podium for his teammate to win and see that his teammate didn't even acknowlege the effort he did. Worse, we had to read and listen to all the F1 and journalists praising Lando for the teamwork as if to mock Charles, saying that Lando did more for Carlos than Charles. And now, people can't stop complaining that Charles is too weak and should go to another team, that Carlos is way better and so on.

One thing people didn't realize was that Carlos didn't help Lando because they are friends. He helped Lando because he knew the two Mercedes, especially George, would overtake him.

Yeah I agree I thought he looked quite down the weekend, even before the results.

The thing with carlos has been a bit weird for a while already imo, but it probably got a bit worse after monza and he definitely saw the comments since he liked that honor tweet.

Singapore is all the more depressing when you think charles got pole there in 2019 and the attitude of the team was quite different.

It's like they always sacrifice him whether if he got the pole or not.

I would love to see all this team effort for the win when charles gets pole as well, but it seems like with him is never there and it never was.

Maybe they take him for granted because he's like family or something. I think he should leave, for his own good.

The thing that annoys me about carlos acknowledging lando but not charles is that I know if it was charles he would do it.

And yeah, the consequence of ferrari/carlos praising lando and ignoring charles is that the fans and media will do the same, in a year where there's already a very anti leclerc narrative.
