I dont even know how I ended up in this position. One minute my best friend Madi thinks she likes both Matt and Chris and the next she is 100% Matt. Holding in my tears as the dial tone rings hoping she wasnt asleep yet.

I turned to see jess walking down with Nick and Madi being carried down the stairs by matt. the lady at the door cleared her throat as they all snapped out of their trance looking in that direction

she exclaims running over and hugging her

"yeah.. mom this is chris, matt, nick and then you remember madi"

AITA for 'avoiding' a face reveal?

I (24) met a guy (20) in an online game with voice chat about two to three years ago. We started hanging out on discord after some games and have been friends since, but i feel like im hiding a big secret from him. Im a trans guy but basically pre-everything. when we played the first game i just assumed hed think im a girl anyways and never said anything about it but he heard another player call me by my chosen name during it and thought i was a guy? which blew my mind, kinda. anyways, fast forward he eventually asks about pronouns bc he wasnt sure and i just went "he/they, anything thats not she" and he didn't question it either. When we eventually revealed ages to each other he was surprised i was older bc of my voice but still didnt seem to assume anything but a cis guy with a kinda high vc voice.

Every now and then he brought up the convo of "haha imagine if we suddenly face revealed in vc" but never forced it. i kept kinda going "yeah haha eventually" and he'd let the convo drop for another few months.

Inbetween those he found out i was queer (saw a gay flag on my wall in the back of a cat pic) and asked about it. By his way of questioning and reacting to it i could tell he usually doesn't hang out with people like me and he even did the "i used to have a gay friend once before! but he fell in love with me haha but im not gay though. but i dont judge you" kinda message. overall i dont mind it. my usual friend circles are all some kind of queer so having one separate friendship where im treated as "one of the guys" is really nice too, since i never pass irl or often immediately tell people im trans on discord.

i saw the post abt re-reading syrup village arc and it made me eager to re-read it myself and like i finished it a few hours ago and. i dont think im ever gonna get over the extremely obvious tones of like. priviledge and how it effects different ppl and how sumtimes it effects how you see other ppl and who your more willing to trust (yes this is in regards to kaya)

BECUASE. AUGH. the slap....... the moment kaya slaps usopp........... after EVERYTHING after he goes to see her day after day and makes her smile and proves again and again all he wants is to see her happy and be her friend and use his lies to weave interesting stories and be remembered. and it doesnt matter because kaya believed kuro (a privileged rich white person like her) over usopp (an under-privileged poc who was widely looked down upon in the community) OUGHHH. OUGHH..... ill never get over it,,,,,,,,,,,,, like i understand she came around in the end BUT THE IMPLICATIONS,,, THE WAY IT ALL GOES DOWN. idk maybe im just insane and projecting but its soooo fuckin. it speaks so much and it makes me just. so sad and angry and i hate her but i love her also (hate that she did that, love her generally lol). anyways i rlly love the syrup village arc it makes me fucking insane and i hope you have an amazing day<333333

Thank you for this because even before that post came on my dash I was thinking about how mad I was that all of Usopp's friends on Syrup were so quick to turn on him!

It's funny though because like, undercover Kuro doesn't even have (his own) privilege. Before his secret came out, Kuro had nothing. He ended up on Syrup with nothing but his fabricated sob story. Any and all privilege he may have had was granted to him by Kaya and her family when they took him in and hired him, and he was able to build his reputation because of that.

His image as a polite, responsible, well-off butler was juxtaposed with Usopp's reputation as a poor, trouble-making orphan. Kuro continued to sew seeds of doubt in Kaya's mind regarding Usopp's bad influence on her, which I think is what ultimately led Kaya to doubt Usopp during that dire moment.

I try to give Kaya the benefit of the doubt when it comes to her betrayal of Usopp because she was young, depressed, and manipulated, but I find it very difficult to do so. We know that Kaya has fond memories of Kuro and they presumably spent a lot of time together as he cared for her. But still, I can't imagine how that relationship could've been more important to her than her relationship with Usopp.

Usopp is her age and (as far as we know) her only friend! He came by day after day to tell her stories to lift her spirits! She was literally worrying herself into sickness, so Usopp's stories prevented her from getting even sicker. She even argued with Kuro when he spoke poorly of Usopp when she wanted him to visit! All of this points to their close friendship, and yet she was so quick to assume the worst of him when Usopp was trying to warn her of Kuro's plan to kill her. She was so angry that she slapped him. It's so unfathomable to me even now, and I remember how upset I was the first time I saw that scene. (She was able to slap Usopp when she thought he lied but was unable to shoot Kuro when her life was in immediate danger. I always found that interesting.)

Ultimately, I know that Kaya initially taking Kuro's side was all for the ~drama~ but as an Usopp stan, I can't help but be upset at her on his behalf. We all know that most of Usopp's "lies" are actually his dreams or are simply stories where he is the main character. He doesn't lie about important things. I think it's safe to assume that Kaya knew this given how long they'd been friends, and yet...........!

I'm sure that having Kaya (and the Veggie Pirates) disbelieve Usopp despite knowing him for so long was set up to contrast the way that Luffy and the others instantly knew what his plan was. But at the surface level, yeah, it just seems like Kaya valued the opinion of her privileged, fair-skinned butler over the words of her poor, dark-skinned friend, and it's so, so upsetting.

You said it well, I love Kaya, but I hate how she treated Usopp in this moment. The Syrup Village arc also makes me Insane so thank you for giving me a chance to ramble about it!

i mean, granted, yeah there were gay undertones during sequence 8, but i have to admit my bias here because i honest to god cannot take those missions seriously. Roth fucking preaches this and that about freedom and whatnot and then im plopped into the mission and it's the most rule-heavy shit ive ever seen in my short life as an assassin's creed player. Like what the hell, those missions were atrocious. Apprently i need to detonate the bombs a specific way, i cant just shoot them from a distance, i have to hold a button crouching down right next to the bombs, and then run the hell away! I have to avoid THIS and THAT while kidnapping xyz! Like there's freddy's apprehend missions and then there's THIS.

at least with ned's missions all you have to do is get the shit and go… i'm still salty that ubisoft cut his questline because they fucking insist on releasing a game a year >:((

my battery's dying. All these guys are different flavors of queer on top of just being pretty different and pretty similar in various ways, and there's just… barely anything about it. Ned especially, since he's just a quest giver whose screentime totals to, like, 2-5 minutes. hello ive been combing through some of your rwby meta and a thought struck me in regards to this line you wrote when talking about the Maidens:

"the last spring maiden died under circumstances that have left raven emotionally shattered more than a decade later"

ive been thinking a lot about your theory of summer defecting to salem's side, and assuming thats true my thought was: did summer defect during her secret mission with raven and kill the spring maiden, all in front of raven?

raven was presumably close to the maiden based off conversations in v4, and we know that she portaled to Someone in the flashback(?) ruby saw in v9. i thought maybe it could've been qrow but tbh knowing rwby thats seems too easy of an answer, and maybe it couldve been vernal but for some reason I had been thinking vernal came post spring maiden's death.

though if summer DID defect on her own terms, while we dont know the woman and v9's whole thing was that ruby (maybe by extension the audience) had her on this pedestal, outright murdering someone that she once considered "on her side" might seem quite coldhearted for what little we do know. but it may also explain raven's fear of salem and her desire to stay the fuck out of her way, beyond just summer defecting. because if raven was close with summer like it seems like she was in that flashback, either at that point or in past because i'd think the abandoning yang thing would put a damper on good vibes, seeing your friend and teammate turn tail against everything you know and murder a child (?) would be uh, bothersome.

yeah i’m as close to 100% certain as it’s possible to be that the person on the other end of that portal was gretchen rainart the last spring maiden; i think the possibility that it might have been qrow on the grounds that we know raven has a link to him is an intentional red herring. (and if it was qrow, it would have had to be a case of raven using him as a fast-travel point without his awareness, a la in V5, because otherwise that would imply he lied through his teeth to ruby when she asked him if he knew anything about summer’s last mission in V7.) (similarly, vernal seems to be around cinder’s age if not younger—she would have been like, ten or eleven at the time.)

based on what summer says in the glimpse (“if i get this right”) and what’s said of the last spring maiden (that she was young and scared), i think the plan was for summer to confront salem alone, with raven and spring at a safe distance on escape duty: kindred link gives raven some way of knowing when her bonds are in danger, so if summer gets into trouble or things go wrong, raven opens a portal with spring there to fireball salem in the face (as cinder did to ruby at haven), hopefully buying enough time for raven to jump through, grab summer, and immediately portal back to spring. neither of them would’ve wanted the spring maiden anywhere near salem, and sending summer in “solo” gives raven’s emergency save the advantage of surprise. yeah?

but what i think happened is summer found salem, and salem—who at the time was not participating in ozpin’s war—intuited that summer wasn’t here under ozpin’s auspices, ergo did not fully trust ozpin and might be open to hearing salem’s side of the story. so instead of fighting back, salem let summer see that she couldn’t be killed and then started talking. and whatever she told summer was convincing enough to make summer want… some sort of proof. something more than the he-said-she-said to tell her who she could trust.

like, oh, say… maybe the relic of knowledge.

conveniently, she’s got raven waiting for her with the spring maiden, who can open the vault to retrieve the lamp.

so she signals raven by whatever means for a portal out, and then either recounts what salem told her honestly or comes up with some lie justifying why they need to get the lamp. (“summer rose, telling lies!” <- hm.)

i don’t buy the common assumption that raven and/or summer used the first question, because a) ozpin never shared jinn’s name with anyone, and b) if summer had learned it somehow prior to joining salem, salem would have already known the “password.”

what seems the most likely to me is that the three of them did sneak into haven academy, opened the vault, and figured out that the lamp had some kind of passphrase. at this point, summer and raven split on what to do. if summer told the truth about what she wanted the lamp for, perhaps she wanted to bring it to salem in exchange for more information and raven thought that was too risky wanted to go confront ozpin instead. if summer lied, maybe implying she needed the lamp to find a counter to some defense salem had against silver eyes, this would have been the moment the truth came out and i’d imagine raven would react badly.

into the mix of this very high-stakes disagreement, add summer’s obvious resentment of raven for leaving and raven’s equally obvious inferiority complex toward summer, and you have the perfect recipe for an emotionally volatile argument to get out of control and come to blows.

and, points at the ozlem girls. points at vernal. i think the spring maiden got caught in the crossfire and was fatally wounded taking a hit meant for raven, and then summer fled and left raven holding the bag. raven either mercy-killed spring to spare her an inevitable but slow and agonizing death, or just couldn’t do anything to save her; the magic passed to her, she sealed the lamp back in the vault, and then ran. i think this was when raven returned to the tribe, because she’d already burned a lot of bridges by leaving her family whereas summer was the ideal, the paragon, the perfect huntress—the good mother—so who the fuck would believe raven if she told them that the spring maiden, her charge, was dead because summer rose betrayed them all for salem and murdered her?

they already blamed raven for tearing team strq apart. if she’d gone back to ozpin with the spring maiden’s blood on her hands, she would have taken the fall for spring’s death—and quite likely summer’s, too, because summer rose was the best of us, the silver-eyed warrior, and what’s easier to believe? that your paragon of virtue and hope joined the enemy, or that the prickly ex-bandit everyone is still mad at for blowing up her relationship with tai and abandoning her daughter is telling an obvious lie to save her own skin?

meanwhile summer also can’t go back home because she did kill the spring maiden and really, catastrophic failed detour to corroborate salem’s story or not, she was salem’s from the minute she chose to listen to what salem had to say.

Y/N potter being one of them holding a secret that would shock not only her brother and friends but the whole school it self. What is that secret you may ask well. In the bustling halls of Hogwarts there was a girl named Y/N potter, yes you heard correctly harry potter had a sister, a twin sister to be exact. This was her third year and it was one she was very excited about. The 2nd term of last year was a surprise for Y/N since she had received a letter asking her to meet someone at the owlery at midnight this worried her but also excited her so she decided to go. Once there she had notice no one was there think she was early she stayed but as the night went on no one had arrived for 5 mins thinking someone had pulled a cruel joke on her she decided to leave but just as she made it to the exit someone else came into view. It was hard to see who it was until they came into the light emitted from your wand. It was Draco Malfoy confused and shocked you stayed silent until he decided to speak 

Draco: I’m sorry I was late no one was asleep yet so i had to sneak out

You didnt rember much of that day only when you first saw him he looked smug and cocky but you didnt really care you were just focused on those eyes they were beautiful then you heard the boy speak to harry he introduced his friends crabe and goyle then finally himself finally finding who this boy was. He tried to befriend harry but failed due to insulting ron his new found friend which was a bad move on his part after harry rejected dracos offer professor mcgonagall had returned to usher the students to the great hall to be sorted. Before it was draco turn to be sorted you made your way to him no one really noticing since they were distracted with watching the students ahead of them being sorted

You tapped his shoulder to make him face you 

Draco: who are you? 

He asked confused at the thought someone would come up to him like that 

Y/N: Im Y/N potter 

You said with a big smile 

Draco: your related to that other potter

Y/N: yes i am, his actually my twin brother

Draco: In that case what do you want? Here to rub it into my face he said no to me

I looked at her shocked. I knew for a fact she didn;t know who i was seeing as her brother didn’t know either. Most of the time people only wanted ot be my friends for family gain since my family is very influential in the wizrding world meaning most oh my friendships were transactional and non-genuine just people trying to social climb by being my friend. But she actually wanted to be my friend not cause my family was well known but just wanted to

I made my way to the seat to be sort but before the hat was placed on my head it yelled slytherin

The slytherin table clapped i decided to look at Y/N direction seeing her happy for me and clapping as loud too.

After the ceremony i tried to talk to her again but her brother always stopped me from talking to her saying “ leave us alone” or “ leave her out of this” i never really could get near her so i decided to stop

Y/N: so youve liked me ever since that day why didnt you talk to me then after that\

I said a bit angry

Draco: i could never get near you or alone your brother was always stopping me thinking i was gonna have a go at you too but i wasn’t then one day i just stopped cause i thought you didnt wanna be friends anymore cause maybe your brother said something

Y/N: draco i still wanted to be friends nothing he said changed anything all i sw was someone who wanted a friend not the bully they saw and to be hinest ive always had a crush on you but thought id never geta chance due to us being different 

Draco: you always had a chance more chances then any of the slytherin girl that try to talk to me all i ever saw was you Y/N only you

At that i smiled, blushing even this is so romantic. He walked towards be taking a hold of both of my hanf and bringing it towards his chest 

Draco: i love you and would you do me the honour of allowing me to date you and eventually maybe be my girlfriend

That made me smile so hard my cheeks hurt i let go of his hands and swang mine around his neck in pure joy and excitement 

Y/N: yes yes yes absolutely yes draco i love would love that.

And every since that day she’d be in and abnormally good mood. Over the last term draco and her had been going on date and eventually after enough of them he had finally asked her to be official which she of course she said yes.

And that brings us back to today walking though the bustling halls of hogwarts towards her next class potions excited to see her boyfriend even though they were allows to be public due to dracos family and y/ns brother they still dhows some form of affection even if it diddnt look that affectionate to other 

Walking into potions i already noticed students waiting for the class to start. Making her way towards her seat she noticed draco was already seating there waiting. Honestly harry wasnt happy about the seating plan and i wasn’t to bothered of course but was surprised that we were sat together and thought draco might have had something to do with. I giggled at the thought 

Taking my seat next to draco he greets me 

Draco: Hello Potter 

Y/N: Malfoy 

As i sat down making sure no one could see i held his hand giving it a little squeeze this was our way of saying it nice to see you 

As class started i pulled out a special book along with my quill and paper to take notes as well. What was this special book? Well it was a thoughtful gift that draco made that would allow me and him to talk with out having to exchange letter or passing notes.

Draco: how was your day love?

Y/N: it was pretty good but had a bit of an argument with harry in the common room again

Draco: what did the git do this time 

Y/N: he was mad that im nice to you and i argued im nice to everyone. He then tried to counter that statement by saying that you should be the exception. So i shut that down then and there

but just know theres been a lot of thinking while damian has been on his  lonesome

he’d been going back and forth with himself for days about asking you to hug him again

and after a particularly stressful day, people at school just bugging the hell out of him, and not being allowed to go out on patrol that night cause bruce noticed his stress

and damian could only assume bruce thought he’d take it out on criminals

which damian was too proud to admit was possible

So imagine your surprise when Damian just bursts into your room, slams the door shut, and turns towards you with his eyes squeezed shut and his arms out

now this is what i meant about teasing and joking, a teasing “no” or any other funny comment and he’ll be humiliated and outta there faster then he was in and he will never come back

its a good thing you knew that right?

you couldn’t help the smile that spread on your face as you approached him and gently wrapped your arms around him

you could tell he was grateful you didn’t say anything

you’d have to guess he has been wanting this for a minute cause it didn’t take him long to completely snuggle up into you

it was a couple minutes before he broke away from you

when he looked up and saw your warm smile he turned completely red and sped out the door

after the first couple times you had actually gotten him to speak to you during or after

and then a couple times after that, you had gotten him to stop speeding out of your room

he came the most at night, after dinner when everyone would be too busy working or in their room to notice his venture to yours

it was now common for you to silently hug him with one arm with him sat with you in your chair while doing homework or studying for college

or when you play something he’ll sit in front of you and let you rest your head on his

one of your favorite memories is him falling asleep on your lap on accident and him being so embarrassed when he woke up he pretended to still be asleep

you could feel the heat in his face so you decided to do him a favor and pretend you hadn’t noticed and instead moved him to your bed

though you couldn’t help the small kiss you planted on his forehead, knowing he couldn’t bring it up without outing himself

and you were surprised to find out he was the kind of brother who would sneak into your room at night

now you never caught the reason why, but you at least knew he didn’t want you to know

he came in and laid next to you when you were “sleeping” and left before you “woke up”

you assumed he was facing some inner demons when he did this, and wanted the small comfort but didn’t want the embarrassment of waking you up and asking you

you and alfred now have a hidden code, not that alfred knows (he probably does but you didnt tell him, but you were sure him and bruce had noticed and got a good idea as to what was happening)

well its not much of a code but when alfred asks for you or damian for one thing or another, you can send him something along the lines of “hey, ive got damian helping me with something” and alfred seems to get it and leaves you two alone for now

im not gonna say how, you and damian dont even know he does, but bruce has pictures

which is crazy cause you’ve never taken one, even while damian is asleep, cause this isn’t something your ruining

but bruce has pictures and he keeps them safe and secure for only him and alfred to see

seeing damian be so close to you makes him so happy

not that he’d say, him and damian are alike in that way

every now and then i get comments on some of my older rants about totk and im pretty sure its usually the very first post without any of the additions i tend to add later on-

old post about how i found it a lil weird that the one of the first things rauru and sonia doing is put zelda back into a little white maiden dress even tho her own clothes didnt look damaged at all and were far more practical and someone commented that its so she doesnt stand out (something that was said in nearly every comment i got on that post already) and that it was only weird bc i was making it weird or sth xD

but it made me think about it again, so .... that excuse doesnt work for me at all bc .. why wouldnt she want to stand out? whats the danger of that? her suddendly appearing out of nowhere, not knowing anything of the traditions or happenings of the time, being around the king and queen all the time with a duplicate enigma stone and unknown technology (purah pad) isnt weird? i know the excuse of oohoho shes a distant relative of sonia (i know its far stretched techinically true i guess) but why even do that, why go to such lengths of keeping her time traveling secret? making her less of a target for gan isnt really sensical either bc he went for sonia anyway, despite zelda clearly being the younger and less experienced of the two with less control of her power, and if he knew she was techinically more powerful .. well then shes even less in danger, and if he might have wanted to get information from her what could he have gained from it really? she didnt really know anything more anyway? like all she could tell him would be like you will lose i guess lol

(also you could keep it secret from him but why from the others, i just dont see the point, i dont find her look pretty either, she just looks uncomfortable, like if she gets put in to a lil white uwu maiden dress AGAIN im just gonna assume ok you are stripped of all your agency and will sacricifce yourself again wahoo what fun)

in a world were time magic is normal why wouldnt you just say yep she literally came from the future to help us? the usual rules of time travel, as in, dont tell anyone who you are, dont mess with the happenings bc everything can have major consequences, doesnt apply anyway, she goes around by her real name and is involved in literally every major happening .. so why care?? keeping it secret from gan for the future? why? he literally recognizes her within a split second anyway

(no gonna get into why i think her time travelling in the first place is like .. so forced? its only segway to put her out of the game essentially and the oh no tragic twist, but like why, she got the powers and the stone so she unconcisouly travels ... back in time ..?? why not reverse the stones she fell from or something, if it was soemthing that would come up again ok! like she did the time travel accidentally and then learned how to return over the time she spent in the past thats good!! i like that idea, but its never broguht up again, the closest thing to it is the weird two time bubbles that just serve to give you her time powers (whats up with how that went down anyway) and then to send the mastersword back ... why even do that when it could have fallen and travelled back with her right away?? and both of those are at the very start of the game AND IT NEVER COMES UP AGAIN, like fine if it was her trying to go back but not getting it right so she creates weird ass time bubbles cool! why not put them all over the place with them getting bigger and maybe being able to talk to link from the past idk SOMETHING- ok ill stop here ...)

Do you have any tips for writing/making allegiances?

Im not sure if you mean writing accurate/full allegiances for the warriors canon/aus or in you mean just generally?

General advice: keep descriptions simple or as simple as they can be, I found this very difficult at first since I had my own designs for them and I wanted to include all the details, but that makes descriptions convoluted and hard to understand! I still feel like my descriptions could be better but they are certainly more understandable than before!

also if you can get someone to read over your allegiances to check for type-os / mistakes... i dont do this and there is ALWAYS a problem that I missed LOL

for warriors/warriors aus? I can go over my very tedious process...

what i do is go thru all the alligiances on the wiki in which cats mentioned could/ would be a part of my alligiance's time period.

so for example: with the first arc, I looked through future allegiances of books into the 3rd arc and took note of the cats mentioned in those allegiances, especially cats who have not been mentioned before, I also take note of which book's allegiance they first appear in to guess at when they could have been born. I also looked at allegiances for books before the first arc, like Yellowfang's secret, there I found cats that would also be warriors in the first arc allegiances!

I also will open each cat's wiki and see their noted relatives bec sometimes those cats are seemingly never noted in the allegiances but they exist somewhere?? and they should be there! often kits or parents!

I then think about which cats I want to still be alive, how big do I want the clan to be? which side characters could have died at this point, or could have been born later?

You and Stiles had been friends since you were in diapers, your dads worked together so when they found out they were both expecting kids around the same time it was basically fate that brought you two together.

You finally started dating your freshman year of high school, Stiles had been crushing on you since kindergarten after all and Scott was the one who talked him into actually telling you how he felt but two years later when you were ready to come out as trans he was who you were most terrified of telling.

You're laying in his bed, just cuddling and listening to music, weeks have gone by and you still haven't found the right words to tell him the truth.

"Have you ever thought about how crazy it is that we've literally known each other our entire lives?" Stiles states.

"No one knows me better than you do," you reply despite knowing you have a huge secret you're keeping from him.

"There has to be something left to learn still, come on Y/N tell me something I don't know about you," he chuckles.

You're silent for a moment, Stiles believing you're just thinking really hard to find some weird obscure fact about yourself but finally you reply with, "when I'm with you I feel like myself. I feel like every side of me is present and accepted and I feel good about it- I feel good about who I am when I'm with you."

"Woah that was unexpectedly deep, where did that come from?" Stiles laughs.

You sit up, Stiles suddenly getting concerned at the change of energy in the room.

"There's something I've been trying to tell you for a while now and I don't know how you're gonna take it," you say nervously.

"Hey, you know you can tell me anything," he says rubbing your arm to try to comfort you.

"Stiles… I'm trans," you blurt out.

Stiles looks at you for a moment trying to process what you said, "okay… can you tell me what that means exactly for you?"

"I uh… never really felt like a girl you know even as a kid but it wasn't until about a year ago when I realized that what I was feeling was gender dysphoria."

"So you're a guy?" He asks.

"Yeah I am," you say looking away from him assuming he wouldn't want to be with you anymore.

Stiles puts his hands on your cheek and gently tilts your face to look at him again, softly kissing you.

"You aren't mad at me?" You question.

"Of course not," he assures you, "I love you, I have since we were five years old and nothing will ever change that. I see you for exactly who you are and if you say you're a guy then that's awesome, no matter what I will always love you."

You just smile and kiss him again, feeling the love radiating off of him.

"Have you told anyone else?" He asks.

"No you're the first person I wanted to tell."

"Do you want me to be there when you tell people cause I will fight anyone who doesn't support my boyfriend," he says.

"I like when you call me that," you chuckle.

"You mean my boyfriend? Better get to used it cause I'm going to be telling everyone that I have the coolest boyfriend in the world," he smiles, pulling you in close and laying you guys back in the bed to cuddle again.

Of course it took him some time to adjust but he really was the rock in your support system and even spent an entire week pulling all nighters researching how to be the best ally and partner to you.

He was there for you when you told your parents and your friends, he helped you picked out a new name and was always the first to correct anyone who used your dead name or the wrong pronouns.

You couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend.

Not to be whiny on main but here is my niche complain of the day. Can you imagine being a child and knowing, not just thinking, but knowing something is deeply wrong with you, with the way you feel emotions n others n such. You try to bring it up a couple times because this cant be how everyone else feels? They would act a lot different?? but adults and friends just laugh it off, so you asume thats just how everyone else feels and it just seems weirder to deal with to you, so you shut up, and you keep this little thing inside you, this little secret about being wrong, so so so wrong, you take care of it like a little pet and convince yourself to not think much of it. Then you read Sherlock Holmes for the first time, you watch House MD for the first time, both probably too young. People laugh at them, consider them exaggerations and assume that no person could actually feel and act like that, right? But you do. God, you do, and if you were to say that outloud, best case scenario would be for it to be taken as a joke. So you say nothing, and that little pet of messed-up-ness keeps barking inside of you. Every time a character that you relate to acts like such, it is met in the same way by everyone around you, and the thing behind your throat keeps growing and growing with every realization of just how wrong you were made. And then you casually end up on some internet forum, and there is a stranger stating, word for word, all the thoughts and feelings youve ever had, every bark that thing has thrown at you. Turns out, youre not messed up. At least, youre not the only one that is messed up. You read more and more about the people talking about this, who experience this, and it is a perfect representation of the conversation you have had countless times inside your head imagining how would you explain yourself to someone else if they ever dug deep enough to find out. Damn.

Now i understand this has been a common experience for many people who grew up undiagnosed with autism, adhd, or many other things. If you relate to this, yay! I hope this makes you feel a little less alone in your experiences, and you got this. Though this might get more specific now.

You have found people that are just like you. You dont know any of them, but it must be real, right? how else could someone write word for word the most specific thoughts youve had all your life like theyre telling you about their day? So you find out what it is. Its an actual thing! It exists! you can finally name your little pet, you can finally pet it and say "its ok, you exist, you are real." So its an actual thing, you tell yourself, an actual medical condition. So you go, dig into every book in every library about the topic, trying to see if you can find anything that might help you understand yourself more. But library after library, book after book all you find is a simple list of symptoms written in the most despective way possible and pages and pages of tips for people to get away from you. It explains over and over how you are a rapist, a delinquent, incapable of caring, and ultimately a person you must stay away from at all costs. At the ripe age of 14. So you shut up and you keep that weird little pet of messed-up-ness to yourself.

ok i wanna put this lil fiona and cake theory/vibe-i-got out there so in the extremely unlikely case it becomes real i can claim i called it and have receipts

anyway

so what i assume will be the plot of the next few episodes is them goin thru universes, trying to find an ice king crown so simon can become a magical lunatic again

now what i propose is that they find some sort of AU crown and/or the fact that simon wont be fighting the effects this time makes it so basically the fruity-ass simon we see in the trailer-

-is what our favourite depressed husk of a man becomes

or at least something close to him/"the ice prince" since based on the background and overall vibe of the place in the shot that is most definitely either an AU simon theyll meet or hes a part of some dream sequence

now why am i proposing this?

short answer: i think it would be neat

long answer: we all know he's not going to just end up the same old ice king, not that that wouldnt also be an ending but yknow thats just depressing innit

(+i really dont think the entirety of his character so far was that much of a wet cat so we would feel happy he got magic dementia again)

what realistically is prbly going to happen is either:

what im proposin(aka altered ice king/prince),

he accepts himself and his life as is(aka wont become ice king at all),

or a secret 3rd thing that im too dumb(or i mean i have only seen 4 eps so far, anything could happen) to even conceptualise (maybe something to do with bettygolb? who knows really, shes a god of chaos now, it would be on brand)

of course what would also be neat and in my opinion could very much happen is that he does become some altered ass ice mf, but only temporarily and once back to human again he has like a new understanding and taste for life and therefore even if fionna and cakes dimension is still linked to his sorry dome it will become magical again cuz hes found the magic in himself or something like that
