Single Father Lucifer Au, Part 3

Time to discuss the timeline babies!! We are going to be discussing the timeline, what paper Lilith plays in here, and who is Lucifer’s spouse and what happened to them. 

Trigger warning: Mentions of death and grieving.

Note: Repost because tumblr hates me and it doesn't appear in the obey me tag (This is the fourth time this happens, two times regarding this au...tumblr why T-T, pls this is annoying)

Lucifer got married relatively young to his spouse. He was around 24 years old and his spouse was 22. Their first anniversary was not yet upon them when Lucifer got the amazing news that they were going to have a baby! He was so happy when he found out, he picked up his spouse and twirled them around as they both laughing and happy tears accumulated in his eyes. He was going to be a father!

Tho, this happiness was nowhere near the same one he felt when Mammon was born. This man full on cried as he held Mammon close and kissed his spouses head. Never in his life was he so happy as that moment...which kind of fueled his decision to get another kid.

Because Mammon was not yet 1 year old when Lucifer’s spouse announced they were pregnant again! And from no other than our little Otaku baby!! (What are they eating for the boys to get out with such unique hairstyles.)

While Mammons birth had become more swift, Levi was a little less eager to come out to the world. Even without being born yet Levi refused to come out of his “room”, for the took TEN HOURS TO BE BORN!

The whole time Lucifer was carrying and distracting Mammon while his nerves ate him up. But finally Levi was born! The first thing he did was start crying, Levi knew the he was going to be a normie baby for a while and didn't want that at all XD. (Fun fact, for the first few years, Levi and Mammon shared a room, and even if they fought, whenever Lucifer went to check up on them, he could find them sleeping next to each other)

Afterwards Satan was born when Lucifer had 27 years. And oh boy, our little wrath boy made Lucifer’s spouse be nauseous, plus he kicked a lot. Like, A LOT!  He was already mad with the world and throwing tantrums left and right all the time...and that was something he did even after he was born. Lucifer was going in 3 hours of sleep everyday because Satan would wake up in the middle of the night to cry. Thankfully, it was never a sickness or anything like that, turns out that the boy just wanted to be constantly picked up and stuff.

Then when Lucifer was 28 and Mammon 3, Asmodeus dropped in! He was, from the three that were already born, the easiest one to take care of. Yes, he wanted affection and attention most of the time and was a drama queen since baby but he was still easier to take care of than Satan.

Now, Lucifer was not expecting at all to have twins, the possibility never crossed trough his head...but...life is full of surprises and wouldn't you know, now there were two more babies on the way!

After the twins were born, Lucifer and his spouse decided that they were not going to try for another kid...but oh boy wouldn't you know, on Lucifer´s 30 birthday his spouse told him that they were expecting another child! A little later Lucifer and his spouse found out that the baby they were expecting was a girl! After having 6 boys it would be an understatement to say they were not absolutely delighted by those news.

But...sadly that happiness didn't last, because a few months later, Lucifer had to bury both of them.

Now, things were difficult for Lucifer during this time, Mammon was only five years old at the time, Beel and Belphie had just turned one, his work was not paying enough to sustain the seven of them.

It took them a while, but Lucifer managed to keep his family together during the whole thing. (During this process he meet Simeon and Solomon who helped him with taking care of kids whenever he needed to stay late for work and couldn't contact a nanny)

(For your consideration, cousin Luke and uncle Simeon taking care of the six little gremlins and baking cookies and stuff!)

After Lucifer turned 36 and the twins turned 7, Solomon and Simeon convinced Lucifer to accept a new job offer which paid better. Lucifer was hesitant at first because it meant he needed to move but all of the kiddies were actually excited about this!

They moved to a bigger house and Lucifer started his new job, were he meet Barbatos and Diavolo, he was his boss and became his most trusted friend in a matter 3 months, maybe less.

Also, Diavolo is REALLY GOOD with the kids. specially with Mammon, Asmodeus and Beel. Those three really love it when he comes over to watch over them or to just “get some papers from Lucifer”.

I should have made this post back in September, buts it’s been over a full year in the DSMP fandom for me now. And. I still love it. You guys are great.

This is a long ramble post about how I joined this fandom so imma put it below a cut :)

My brother first introduced Dream to me, he told me to watch a manhunt and I was so against it at first. This is way back in like August 2020 and I thought “who would ever want to WATCH someone play Minecraft??? Just go play Minecraft? No appeal to someone else playing the game fast??” So I didn’t for a while. Then I kept getting animation meme videos in my YouTube recc with this guy in a green hoodie and these two other people. And they showed up enough I went and found who the characters were. It was the dude from the Minecraft speed running??? What? Why would you draw him? So. I uh. Had to watch the ‘speed running’ I guess. I really liked the first one I saw, so I watched another and liked it too. My brother found it hilarious when he caught me watching one during dinner. But the best decision he made was showing me the SADist animatic. HOLLLY CRAP. literally that one video grabbed my brain, swung it around like a yo-yo and hasn’t let go of me since. I NEEDED TO KNOW. WHAT WAS THIS STORY WHO WERE THESE CHARACTERS. So I searched for videos, it was TERRIBLE no one had put together a playlist with all the parts, videos were several hours long, I didn’t know who any of these people in the corners were, the “country” was a van?? Drugs?? God this blonde kid is soo annoying but why does he radiate main character energy. What is going on. Is this a story? I have no idea how but at some point it all clicked into place and I knew things. Right after I had gotten a hold on wtf I was watching I got twitch. And the first livestream I ever watched was Jschlatt’s election. When Tubbo tore down Wilburs birthday signs at Jschlatt’s command was like the first time I felt actual emotions for this story, I had gotten invested. I watched Wilburs descent, I watched Tubbo prep for the Red festival and watched him be executed live, I watched Technoblade join the server for the first time, it was insane. New lore was being added every minute, everyday, something new had happened. It was incredibly exciting. I talked to kids in my zoom class chat about November 16th Wilburs death and Technoblades “do you want to be a hero” speech to the utter confusion of my teachers. I watched Falsesymmetry win Both September MCCs and my love for MCYTers reignited from my childhood. I feel like the way I’m phrasing this makes it seem like I’m going to follow this up with a “but now” or “it used to” but I still love this fandom. Of course of course that energy has ebbed, lore is slow and honestly mostly dissatisfying, but I still enjoy talking about it, doing art of it, I haven’t gotten sick of these characters yet. I got back into Hermitcraft, I got into the new SMPs, I have plenty of other MCYT content to enjoy between DSMP things and so I’m just taking my time. Less like the exciting sprint of last October and more of a chill walk where you find some shinies on the ground sometimes. I could go on a long rant about how it’s truly the fan creators who make art and songs and stuff is what keeps me here and stuff but this post has already gotten too long. I’ll talk about it later.

TDLR; I’m glad I joined this fandom. Someday this will be an old phase of mine and that will make me nostalgic. I’m enjoying my time here anyway tho. Update me on lore pls.

Day 7-

Forgot to weigh myself in the morning and didn’t want to do it after eating

I drank some lemon and mint water again so I don’t know if I should add 5kcal because it’s yesterday’s ones... I didn’t really want them in there but it wasn’t coming out of the bottle so it’s in there now lol. Imma add it in anyways cos it’s only 5 kcal even though that’s basically worth one precious grape

Breakfast- 129 kcal

I had another cheese plate thing again cos yesterday’s one was so good that it was all I could think of. This time was less variety but still very delicious(except from the cucumber- never again 🤮). I didn’t finish the coffee cos it went cold but I drank about half of it and didn’t bother wanting to change the screen shot

Lunch- Hartleys jelly and one bar of 70% dark chocolate (88 kcal)

I’m still upset that I read 50kcal as 5, but let’s not talk about that. Jelly is nice but by the end of it, I always feel sick from just eating jelly so I diced up 2 blocks and mixed it in with the jelly. It tastes good. :))

Dinner- diet noodles (98kcal)

You could defo make this way less calories cos there’s some stuff I only added for taste but I wouldn’t suggest eating it for an actual dinner if u do but for a snack instead? If your vegan/ vegetarian, you only really need to remove the prawns. We only had frozen garlic so I had to cut it instead of mash but I think I like it better this way. It looks like a lot and it feels like a lot as well. Haven’t felt so full and guilt free in ages. Highly recommend. Ngl- might just eat the vegetable stock on its own as soup cos it was so goooddddd.

Snacks- 180kcal

Red apple (60kcal), 1 tbsp peanut butter (100kcal), 5 strawberries (20kcal).

I haven’t had apple and peanut butter in ages and I’m going on a really strict diet starting tomorrow and was like lemme just treat myself before the most agonising next couple of days to weeks depending on how long I last. Notice how every time I get something extra it’s never just that I’m a fat shit, I always have to add some bs excuse lol. I don’t regret it tho, it was so delicious + my calories are a perfect number sooo... also, I forgot why I stopped eating apples even tho they are my fave then looking at this plate I realised- the 20kcal strawberries take up more space than the 160kcal apple and peanut butter. That one small snack (and it really was a small apple) was way more than any of my meals today ;-;

Total: 5 + 129 + 88 + 98 + 180 - 1 = 499 but let’s pretend it’s 500 for my sanity

Thoughts: not bad, didn’t do any exercise cos I was doing my school work all day. I could defo stayed in a 200-300 number but I’m not completely mad that I ate tbh. Ngl tho, I’m a bit of an idiot cos I basically had a mini panic over my meal plan and like eating too much (for 300kcal all day) then decide to add a whole 180 extra and I’m just like- yup delicious. Anyways see u tomorrow :))

And Herbert, to begin with, was not at all a fan of it. You would sit in the corner minding your business, until you would look up to see what he was up to and always, always seemed to have some sort of input. 

It drove him crazy. 

Until It didn't so much.

He found that he enjoyed your company and found you actually had some good insight on the work he was conducting. And instead of the previous loathing he felt towards you to begin with, he found that instead he looked forward to the time the two of you spent together. 

"What if you tried this?" You asked him, noticing he was struggling particularly hard today. "Pardon?" 

You stood up from your spot and Bumped him out of the way with your hip, picking up the pen and scribbling a few things on the page in front of you. 

The corners of his mouth twitched upward in a light smile at the playful move but was quickly replaced as he peered over your shoulder, slightly annoyed as he attempted to get a glimpse of what you were doing. You tossed the pen down and gestured to the page, stepping aside slightly for him to look. 

You tapped your fingers on the desk as you watched him look it over he finally glanced up at you. 

"This could work…" You grinned and stood up straight. "Really?" 

He nodded slapping the notebook on the desk and moving around in preparation to follow your work. The look of pride that filled your face made his heart jump in his chest. It made him sick, it's true he tolerated you as a friend so he found it odd that he was acting this way. 

"Is that Dans cat?" You asked a few hours later when you found Herbert making his way down the steps with said animal in his hands. 

"Yes." You frowned as he placed it on the table. "What happened to it?" You asked taking his place in front of it as he moved away, you looked at it sadly. 

He watched you do so carefully, calculating how to put his next words carefully as If not to hurt your feelings. why he cared? he couldn't tell.

"He suffocated while rutting around in the trash, ready?" He asked looking up at you. You nodded scooting over so he could take over new and hopefully improved Reagent in hand. You watched him carefully as he injected the reagent to the cat. 

"Ti-"

"Ten seconds." You said cutting him off and glancing at him with a smirk. "Thirteen seconds." On cue the cat began to twitch and move, letting out small meows. "Holy shit." You breathed out. 

"It's working…" He said softly both of you leaning in closer. Within a second the cat swiped at Herbert's face, scratching it. He stumbled back slightly as it stood up hissing at the both of you. 

"Hey, easy kitty...easy…" you reached out to pet him but he hissed again and bit your hand, wrapping it's paws around your arm. 

"Ah! Get off!" You shook your arm frantically tossing it from your arm. "Are you ok?" He asked coming over to you, taking your arm. 

"Just a few flash wounds, nothing I can't handle." You said smiling reassuringly.

 "Where did it go?" You asked, slowly pulling your hand from his. He frowned slightly as you did so and began searching the room for the Re-animated creature. 

Herbert following your action shortly after. You grabbed a shovel from the nearby wall and  held it tightly. 

There was a loud hiss from behind the both of you and it jumped onto Herberts back. 

"Shit! Herbert, stand still!" You yelled at him before finally getring a good enough angle 

To batting it across the room sending it straight into the wall.

You breathed heavily  huffing as you stood up straight and began to laugh lightly. 

"Holy shit...we did it!" You dropped the shovel and turned to herbert. "Herbert we did it!" 

He stared shocked for a second before laughing with you. "We did it!" He reapted after you. You happily tossed your arms around him to hug him, you both pulled away for a moment and He looked at you briefly before kissing you excitedly. 

You were shocked at first but kissed back,happy to do so. He pulled away but you chased his lips in a slight daze. He cleared his throat once the two of you broke apart. 

"Sorry."

"No, no it...it was uh good..good…" you chuckled brushing a finger over your lips with what he hoped was a smile.  

"Heat of the moment...ya know...whatever…" you cleared your throat. "Anyways Imma go it's late...We can pick this up tomorrow, NOT the kissing thing...th..the scientist thing!" You chuckled nervously bumping into the table behind you. 

He watched you grab your things and quickly head up the stairs. He stood there for a second in shock trying to put together what had happened. 

"Heat of the moment...right...that's all it was." He reassured himself turning to the now, once again, dead animal on the floor. 

As he did he thought, thought about how happy and excited you had gotten when it worked, how much he enjoyed your company as of recently, the feeling of your hand in his. 

He groaned and hurried up the steps thinking he could catch you, luckily Dan had caught you on your way out. 

"Oh, Herbert I was just saying goodbye to-" 

You froze in shock for the second time that night as he held your face in his hands and kissed you again You hummed lightly against his kiss and pulled away with a dazed smile. 

"Uhh...wh-"

"I don't want to call this Love, not yet Y/n but I definently feel something for you."

You stared at him in shock but laughed and nodded your head. "Dinner? Tomorrow Night, we can discuss it further?" You asked and he simply nodded. "Ok, uh tomorrow night then...Uh good night Dan...Herbert…" You slid out of the door and shut it behind you. 

"Wow...nice going Herbert.." Dad said from beside him with a smirk.

Okay starting off I feel so so so bad for Nova! I hate that she isn’t a crowd favourite like Sawyer and Veronica. I love the banter and relationship between Nova and Ricky and I love their relationship with Brian. I love how warm the commentators were to Nova and enjoyed her input. Taz is mad lucky he’s not catching these hands when he was trying to undermine Nova and prod at why she isn’t wrestling BUT I’m super happy that he complimented her at the end of the day with the commentary!!!

A messy summary of Ikepri Yves’ route up to chapter 15

So I've reached the point in Yves' route where I could choose which ending route (? idk) to pick and lemme just say that it's been cute... up until chap 15-ish. Also I drained my wallet dry just to get the premium avatars and his povs because imma simp for Yves so RIP me I guess

Okay, so summaries mean spoilers so imma put them all under the cut for all yall who don't wanna get spoiled. I may or may not have missed some points (especially about the plot i’msosorry) and maybe I understood some things wrong so feel free to correct me (pls). This is SUPER messy so proceed with caution

So first of all.

YVES IS SO CUTE WTF ???????

I mean he gave me strong Jonah vibes at first, it’s still there but kinda... different?

On MC's first day at the castle, while she was strolling around, she notices Yves  watching her from behind a pillar wtf. When he's found out he was like "i-it's not like I was worried about you stfu" and afterwards he told MC that he's gonna keep an eye on her because he's not sure she’d do her job as Belle right but he says he's only doing it because he's doing his duty as a prince yea right

Later they bumped into Nokto who reminded MC about the Belle system (MC: dafuq is that???). After they explained all that Yves was like "yo you better not fall in love with me or else" and MC replied with "bruh if you ever steal my heart then I'm all yours for eternity" then Yves comes back with "if you ever steal mine then imma do the same. But i kid you not, that will NEVER happen" and they both laughed it off like it's nothing. Meanwhile Nokto's just listening from the side like "HA HA BET"

Anyway, part of Yves keeping an eye on MC means he'd spend some quality time™️ with her and him going to her room to wake her up 😂 also, he decided to show her around and tell her about the princes so she can get a grasp of them to see who is the most suitable to be the next King. So he gives her a memo pad to write their deets down on and she got to talk to everyone except Chevalier cuz that dude scary 😭 MC's feeling down because she really wanted to know what his plans are if he becomes King. Seeing this, Yves comforts her with a leFtOvEr piece of cake from dinner. MC goes on bout how being affected by this whole thing is a disgrace to her Belle title so she's determined to try again. Yves is impressed by this so he silently supports her. In the end, ye, MC got Chevalier to talk and all is well not

After all the introductions, our girl MC straight out tells Yves "Aye this is great and all, but you've never really told me about yourself fam" because ye, she got a point tho. He kept singing praises about the other princes but never really talked about himself

SO... he takes her out to town on a date the next day to show (yes, show) her, and while walking she notices that everyone they passed by whispered under their breaths about how Yves has such a doll-like face and all that. But that's not all...

They also whispered bout how they shouldn't go near Yves and his backstory is revealed: Yves has some Obsidian blood in him, and the Obsidian kingdom, let's say, have some beef that's as old as time with Rhodolite and the other kingdoms(??). Also his earring was given to him by his mother who is from Obsidian 🥺 But he doesn't hate her from what I've read so, there's that

SOOO ye. Everyone avoids him and spreads rumors bout him, he thinks everyone hates him but he doesn't give a fuck bout that. He says as long as he realizes his own self worth, all those don't matter to him. But MC notices that Yves hates himself more than anyone does. That he puts up this proud façade just to hide his real feelings. That before you can even ask him to spit it out, he's just gonna sweep all that aside with his 'idgaf' attitude. He also revealed that he plans to bring the Kloss family’s honor back if he becomes King. Oh, and he mentioned there may come a time when he’ll betray Rhodolite so... o.O

Returning from the date, MC bumps into Leon who decided to spill some tea bout why Yves actually wanted to keep an eye on her (I'm sorry but I kinda breezed through this part so this was all I could remember 🙇‍♀️). Then one day Leon and Licht (either or both of them, idk) told them Jin suddenly collapsed or smth, so they rushed to the kitchen and saw Jin looking weak as he laid on the floor. Yves was worried af, while MC just noticed how Leon and Licht were all chill bout the whole thing, so she realized they were clowning Yves lolol. Jin dramatically tells Yves how he would die if he weren't to eat some of Yves' sweets and Yves was like "??? U CLOWN you even got MC worried-- wdym you caught on??? Haaa!?" And they teased him loool. In the end, Yves bakes a cake for them, when MC notices that it looked like the leftover cake Yves gave her one time. MC asked Yves if it was and he was in full panic mode. Licht was like "leftover??? But whenever Yves bakes smth there are never leftovers 🤔" so Licht tells her that Yves might have baked it just for her, to which the latter denied lolol u tsun

Anyway, to get to know Yves more, MC spends more time with him, yada yada, all that stuff, until they go out to town again. There they notice a group of performers playing and she also notices how interested he was. She then asked him if he wanted to watch them, but Yves declined since he's worried he'll only ruin the mood (iirc he thinks of himself as a bad luck magnet of some sort?). MC manages to persuade him and after he plays, everyone is in awe and like "omg, Prince Yves is actually good :O" And for the first time, Yves felt like he actually belonged and wasn't feared by the Rhodolites.

Everything was cute and all until they get caught in the rain, yada yada, and when they get home they both get sick so Sariel tells them to rest up. Oh, and did I mention they SHARED A BED? No? Well, they did 😏

When Yves wakes up, he notices he's been hugging MC in his sleep and he's SHOOKETH. He then has a slight internal conflict bout why his heart is going doki doki with just hugging MC, then as if he's struck by lightning he's like "omg, I like MC???" When she wakes up he immediately sputters "i don't like u ok!!?!" Then he rushes out to go to the library and look up the meaning of love lololol then he finds they are all applicable to what he feels for MC. But he still denies it because of the stupid system 🙄 then he's found by Luke and gets teased 🤣

After the gathering, she runs to the kitchen and finds Yves there. He told her he spent the night preparing a whole FEAST for MC to reward her for going through all that shiz and MC immediately feels guilty so she cries. She tried to play it off like it’s nothing and the next thing she knew Yves was kissing her tears away. It was her turn to be SHOOKETH but before she could comprehend shit Yves remembered he forgot smth then zoomed out the kitchen. Once outside, he was in panic mode yet again because he didn’t mean to actually do that. He’s like “oh no I like MC I’m screwed”, but in the end, he thinks MC is the one in trouble because she’s liked by someone like him boi I can’t wait for him to see the light istg

After all that, MC is informed bout a gathering Rhodolite is to hold with Benitoite and Jade so she gets ready for that, and when the day comes she’s kinda nervous and stuff. Before going she bumps into Yves who decides to ease her nervousness by fixing her hair (ugh get you a man 💯) and they talk some more about him, how Yves put more effort into acting and looking like a prince to hide the fact that he’s actually 'defective goods’ or smth and through that he feels like he actually has some value. Then he cheers her up by returning the words she’d told him before and it works like a charm ❤ MC then learns that Yves won’t be going to the gathering because “no Obsidian peeps allowed” and since he’s half Obsidian... 🥺 She did promise to meet him at the kitchen once it’s over. Anyways, MC meets diff people, until some punk from Benitoite or Jade talks smack about Yves and comments how he should just be sent back to Obsidian. As much as this pissed her off, all she could do was be silent and wait for the convo to end.

Also, by the end of chap 15, some stuff happens that will actually get the plot moving lol

It has also been a couple months since I watched the show, so there is a strong chance I’ll have forgotten names and situations, and just general thoughts I have... BUT WHATEVER time to rant to the thirteen people who’ve watched ChinaPuri!!!

1. Favorite character(s)?

MU SI YANG BABEYYYYY!!! I already love a stoic glasses boi, but Mu Si Yang (again not TeniPuri Tezuka, just ChinaPuri Si Yang) may be one of my favourite takes on the stoic glasses boi… like I don’t often enjoy live action versions of anime, especially because the acting is never the best (and granted this one too, had some okay performances) but the guy who plays Mu Si Yang melted my heart… he was the stony-faced serious captain, who could deliver a subtle joke that left you snickering… but he was also the determined, earnest, crazy talented leader with his own hidden struggles who just wanted to take his team and friends as far as they go into competition… which is an essential part of any good sports drama… and he captured it so perfectly… and I love him.. he’s so beautiful too… I would fall in love with him in a heartbeat, and I don’t often say that about characters (like I love them but never in love ya dig?)

Zhou Zhi was a close favourite…basically I just love the two genius senpais…

2. Favorite school team(s)?

Oh god… Yu Feng maybe? We spend the most time with them, they have the most screen time of all the other teams…we have a whole training arc where they’re continuously winning against the struggling to evolve Yu Qing…very reminiscent of the Karasuno-Nekoma rivalry in that they help each other get better… I would’ve loved to see the rivalry/camaraderie develop even more so that when Si Yang leaves, the relief at having this network of tennis friends would’ve been that much more powerful…

Also I really enjoy Xu Ziping’s hustle… I love the story of Yu Feng…they had a shitty coach and had to make a deal to keep winning in order to even remain an official team… and when Yu Qing faced Yu Feng, I really couldn’t tell who I wanted to root for because I knew there was real weight behind every loss for Yu Feng…

After that, maybe No. 6… they’re so chill, they’re not straining for each win and just enjoying their time on the court…and the Old Coach dude was a great character to introduce...

3. Favorite coach(es)?

Maybe No. 6’s coach… I legit can’t remember his name but he oozes skill and experience without all the stress of younger coaches who bend over backwards for success… and while, again, the circumstances surrounding his appearance was a bit waffle-y in execution (which is about par for live action adaptations), I love that he serves as a sage outsider who can assess in three seconds what kind of player Lu Xia is, and what he needs to do to improve… I love me a good wise character who still knows how to inspire people in a fun way but you never, for a second, doubt that what they’re saying is legit advice, even if their mannerisms are goofy…

4. Favorite supporting cast member(s)? (characters who aren’t regulars, aren’t on tennis teams etc.)

Oh I mean…Stretcher Bros for life amirite? They were great…they were just hanging out, trying out.. Huang Jing is kinda jerk-ish, but he’s the starting antagonist who turns out to have a pure heart and a genuine love of the sport (kinda like Tsukishima Kei from Haikyuu!! or the GoMs from Kuroko no Basuke)… and Xiu Wen is such a soft boi who wants to shower in peace without girls being in the locker room…

Put these two besties together forever…and I just love how cuddly they are with each other…no hesitation to hold hands or hug…it’s gooood

5. Favorite original character(s) in the adaptation?

Um…idk who’s an original character??? Again never watched the original anime/read the manga!

5.5. Favourite ship? (Get ready my friendsss issa long one)

Si Yang x Qi Ying my friendssss… a super unexpected pairing that came outta nowhere!!! Because the trailer clearly shows (or maybe it doesn’t and I forgot) that Lu Xia and Qi Ying are gonna be THE THING but then we get hit with the surprise senpai-kouhai/team manager ship and I’m like uhhh were you planning this or am I reading into it too much???

Like y’all they were flirting right in the beginning… that whole bit where she stands outside the change rooms and Si Yang confronts her, and she begs him to add Lu Xia to the team (even tho he already did) and he was weirdly teasing her about the roster when he had no reason to, and she was kinda bantering back with him and she fully called him out later on… i was like, umm this is a vibe

They just kept getting thrown together in weird ways…aside from Lu Xia, she’s probably had the most interactions with Si Yang of all the other team members… she’s the only one he calls Xiao~ like the boys in the tennis club have their nicknames like Dachi, Ah Mu, Ah Yan, but only Qi Ying is Xiao Ying!!  he’s not a nickname guy… and maybe if it were a girl/cheerleader thing, you’d think he’d call Peng Xiang, Xiao Xiang BUT NO… only Qi Ying gets called Xiao Ying!!!

AND ANOTHER THING: other than Lu Xia, he’s the only one concerned for Qi Yang, despite what he says, when she gets caught in the rain and gets sick… he fully visits her in her room, and receives the call about her health after they send her to the hospital… he says everyones worried BUT YO they’re straight up just bored and end up having a pillow fight…sooooo can’t be that worried…

AND ONE MORE THING: Qi Ying, I get she’s this weird mascot/team manager figure on their team (even tho she’s meant to be a cheerleader but they never invite Peng Xiang to any of their team dinners or their training camp) BUT WHEN SI YANG RETURNS HOME, THEY SEND IN QI YING TO GREET HIM and they have this whole charming convo where she teases him...and they were chatting as if they always had this banter going on but they’d only talked like 3 or 4 times on screen before then, so there’s this whole relationship she has with the tennis team (not just Lu Xia) that is implied but we don’t really see it! And when she teasingly calls him Captain Si Yang after he returns to China, he had the softest smileeee!!! HE TOTALLY DOES HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR HER!! He didn’t want her to think he wasn’t happy to see her... and then she leads him to their surprise party in the club room and he just keeps saying Xiao Ying…  like damn you keep trying to establish the Lu Xia x Qi Ying ship (and it is a decently strong ship) but Si Yang x Qi Ying is soooo good!

Jk… other than Si Yang, I really enjoyed the guy who plays Lu Xia - Peng Yu Chang… he played the typical “stoic, super talented/genius sports idiot” type prolific in sports anime (like Furuya from Daiya no A, Kageyama from Haikyuu!!, Midorima from KnB)… but he was never too stuck in his head, and he was never mean… too often there’ll be a moment where this type of character is played too seriously, gets stuck in their own head, and lashes out at anyone they deem getting in their way, especially when they feel they’re stuck in a rut… which Lu Xia is in, for essentially the entirety of the show, in one form or another…

But PYC played Lu Xia as this mildly cocky, but still incredibly enthusiastic young genius who is looking for the next big challenge so as to further himself, but is so obsessed with this one opponent (his dad), that he can’t see the bigger picture and realise his entire way of playing is a mirror of the very opponent he’s trying to overcome… but even at the height of his stagnation, he’s never mean to Qi Ying, who tries her best to support and encourage him… while he does distance himself from the team, it’s not an active dismissal of their assistance or support… he can play a straight faced comic when embarrassed/discombobulated (like Si Yang when faced with Yan Juice), but also always participates in most of the weird antics his team is up to… and it never feels OOC and thats clearly a result of Peng Yu Chang’s subtle acting…

ALSO PENG YU CHANG IS IN OUR SHINING DAYS, A SUPER UNDERRATED CHINESE FILM THAT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL TO BE ADAPTED INTO LIKE, A ONE SEASON SHOW AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH IT

7. Favorite singles match?

Oh pfft… please… PLEASE IS THERE EVEN A QUESTION it was arguably the best match of the whole show, it was what we were all waiting for, a super tension filled, super hyped up match because it features my favourite character, who has simultaneously been promoted as THE BEST PLAYER ON THE TEAM but also super injured and avoiding over-exertion… MU SI YANG…against his personal rival, whom had never tasted defeat before, and subsequently trained like crazy, throwing all of the money at professional players, FOR A YEAR, in order to be ready to face him… JI JING WU

That’s right baby, its the Imperial Pair Match (I do hope I’m using all these nicknames correctly..I just tried to pick them up from the anime/manga to save time writing out their names XD)…

This match is everything you ever want in a match…it’s a gritty, no-holds-barred, all-out, clash-of-titans-style face-off between probably the two most talented players in that whole (province? Prefecture? Idk China regional names) BUT YEAH THESE TWO ARE CLEARLY TOP TIER PLAYERS WHO FINALLY GO HEAD TO HEAD… it’s a year in the making, Ji Jing Wu is in peak physical condition, but Si Yang is not…and yet we see Si Yang powering through the literal agony of an arm injury that threatens complete destruction of not only his tennis career, but his general usage of that arm… and for glory and to bring his team to the national stage, Si Yang lays it all on the line… and he still gives Ji Jing Wu a run for his goddamn money… he matches him hit for hit, and at one point he was even WINNING…and had it not been for his arm, I swear up and down that he would’ve beaten Jingwu…

BUT THAT’S NOT EVEN THE BEST PART… i mean, all sports anime and just shounen anime in general have those moments where the characters are down and out and summoning the power of friendship and determination to their side to go above and beyond the physical limitations of their bodies… NO THE ACTUAL BEST PART WAS JI JINGWU’S RESPONSE TO THE WHOLE SITUATION

The goddamn respect he gave Si Yang.. this is his rival, the only person he’s ever viewed as equal and even superior to his own skills (at least as far as people the same age as him go)… Jingwu wants to beat him so bad… and he’s heard the rumours about Si Yang’s injury, and he even sees for himself how bad the injury is… but as a skilled player who recognises skill himself, he does not do Si Yang the disrespect of going easy on him… what kind of arrogant prick has that kind of nerve to give less than their best to someone who is giving them 120% effort… no, Ji Jingwu doesn’t hesitate to hit back full power, even as he’s yelling at Si Yang to stop before his arm is utterly destroyed… because the last thing any person of talent would want, is to see another person lose such an incredible gift… but even worse than that, have that person realise someone was going easy on them... it was so goddamn beautiful… and when Jingwu grips Si Yang’s hand and raises it high because he and everyone there knows who the real winner of that match is…they all know that they just witnessed something incredible, and he wants everyone in the stands to not only acknowledge it… but remember it…

And then he proceeds to fund Si Yang’s surgery, his flight, his meals, his rehabilitation, AS WELL AS take care of his team… and if that isn’t love, idk what is… like they don’t even disguise the hard core DEDICATION AND LOVE... Jingwu has obsessed over Si Yang for a year and it goddamn shows

Honourable Mention: I really enjoyed Zhou Zi versus the demon child whose eyes go red…we finally get to see Zhou Zi stretch his legs and push himself and I LOVED THAT… like he’s actually trying his best and that’s dope… also the match against the captain of the team his little brother his on… he basically led this cocky motherfucker by the nose for 5 games, pretends to be losing, and then destroys him in the following 7…

OH AND I GOTTA SHOUT OUT MY OTHER GLASSES BOI YAN ZHIMING VERSUS HIS BEST GUY FRIEND FROM YOUTH… that was a beautiful evolution of Ah Yan transcending but also evolving his data tennis against his childhood friend and it feels good ya know?

8. Favorite doubles match?

Oh pfft anything with the Rival Pair… they bicker like cat and dog, but then you put them on the court together, and suddenly their chemistry is through the roof… also Baiyang and Qiao Chen are a stronger couple than Qiao Chen and Yu Xing Zi and that’s the damn tea

9. Favorite story arc?

Oh man… ummm training arc with Yu Feng was fun but it was definitely beaten out by the “village raises a child” arc when Si Yang leaves, so literally all their previous opponents step up to encourage, train, or otherwise intimidate Yu Qing into giving it their all, improving, and ultimately winning the finals… plus this arc gave so much depth to the network of teams who all have the same aspirations, in the end, and want to push forward the people who beat them to not let their loss be in vain…and that’s pure…

10. Most amusing tenipuri scene(s)/moment(s)/running joke(s)?

Yan Juice... especially the first time NEXT

11. What did you like most about the adaptation?

It captured the essence of a good sports anime: power of friendship, ridiculous action sequences of outrageous moves that would never be allowed in real life, determination and guts is all you need to succeed, that all-or-nothing mentality of high schoolers who suddenly have tunnel vision and no future thinking whatsoever, and decide to risk life and limb for one match… plus it kept a charming and comedic beat running throughout, really endeared you to the characters, and their struggles... AND NO ONE WAS MEAN... well I mean Ya Jiuxin was an angry bitter jerk for a hot second, but he ended up being endeared towards the lil fluffball kouhai of his, and we all know he loves Xinglong in his heart of hearts... other characters like Jingwu, or demon child, or Zhou Yu’s captain were cocky or arrogant, but they were never mean to each other, and respected each other’s game play even if they were defeated.. a couple were poor losers, but they didn’t throw a fit or try to get revenge or anything like that... everyone, in general, had some decency to them, and in fact all of Yu Qing was a super nice...sometimes too nice and self-deprecating that you wanted to smack them...

12. What do you think the adaptation could have improved on?

This is mostly just a consequence of live action adaptations of sports anime where they have to condense a whole lot of story that is already condensed from the manga into a palatable show that anyone, not necessarily pre-existing fans of the original source, can enjoy… the story around the characters seemed waffle-y and disjointed… sometimes things would happen but wouldn’t connect smoothly to the next thing that happens… there was this whole implied close relationship between Qi Ying and the team that just was never shown… I would’ve preferred they made her an official manager, so it would make sense that she’d be so close to the team, when for whatever reason, Peng Xiang wasn’t…even tho they’re both cheer captains…

The match sequences were cut down a little too much (tho I get why)… I would have loved that final training arc to be extended, to fully flesh out how discombobulated Yu Qing was when Si Yang had to leave, and how forcefully the other teams picked them up and got them better… so to develop the dynamic between the teams before this would’ve been good, but obviously they can only got the core actors of each team at a time… hence that barbecue scene… but if they’d pulled off something like the Haikyuu!! Tokyo training arc, or even something like in KnB where the teams were thrown together in wacky hijinks or impromptu match situations to develop their camaraderie (and they sorta tried to but nothing really came of the interactions), it would’ve made the final training arc THAT MUCH MORE heartwarming and I would have cried..

So, there’s been another cancelled article or something? Considering you’re online and around, that is. 

Marius’ message was direct and mainly on point, as him being around on a Tuesday morning (in his case) wasn’t usually part of his weekly schedule – although it often changed depending on where in the world he happened to be and whatever tasks were ahead of him. This week, however, was one that shouldn’t have kept him at his hotel and a faint feeling of shame crept through his skin as he exhaled and pulled the laptop closer to himself; remembrance of a shady and wishful Sunday night keeping him company and clogging his head with the notion that skipping out on this week was something of a charity, a way to score some points and gain the favors of a person that every so rarely made a comeback into his life. 

R: “haha yeah you could say that my guide ended up sick :/ unlucky me right??? you cant plan these things tho it happens. whats up tho its still weekday so is it like evening over at europe?” 

The lie slipped his fingers like a smooth stick of butter, as it was one he had entered many times before whenever he had happened to “cancel” his weekly plans for casual and unlucky reasons. It wasn’t as if anyone, especially not Marius, could dig around and sniff out anything suspicious about a person being sick. Of course it was bitter pill to lie to someone as close to him as his best friend, but the fear of him – or anyone else – finding out this straight up game he seemed to be playing with his ex was greater than his will to be open and honest. 

They didn’t need to know, had no reason to know, and he certainly wasn’t going to make a bigger deal out of it than it needed to be. It wasn’t as if it happened often, right? Only sometimes and Robin found himself being far too much of an opportunist to wave of his chances to get close to someone that he yet liked… well, loved. To give someone else your ideas now and then wasn’t bad, it was supposed to be a good thing -- sharing, caring and all those wonderful things that lead to them liking you more. At least that was what he wanted to believe and repeat until those nagging feelings within turned into something positive instead. 

M: “No, you can’t but as long as you have a back-up of sorts you should be fine, unless you’re planning on taking some time off instead. It’s evening alright, got back home roughly two hours ago and I’m exhausted but maybe we can do a call once I’ve had some dinner? Might as well catch up now when you’re free.”

There was a scoff, happy and pleased, as he read the next answer and he found himself relaxing a bit. The Sunday slip was done and over with, he had better things to worry or focus on until he could catch sight of him again; and spending some time with another person he held dear spoke higher than most.

guys i binged last night it was awful and my stomach still hurts,, i tried to purge but i cant make myself throw up which is really inconvenient since id be feeling a lot better if my stomach was emtpy,,,, remind me not to stay alone with friends again one of them was asking me if i have bulimia and telling me how skinny i got and if im even eating and its so tiring, she told me that i look so good now and iknow a lot of people like hearing that but i dont like ppl commenting on how i look especially if its weight related. im thinking of increasing my calorie limit because last night was awful and i dont ever wanna binge like that again -my stomach hurt so much but i kept going back to that fucking cake it was so disgusting and i kept stuffing myself oh god.. i had breakfast at my friends place and now that im home imma try to have broccoli for dinner dont wanna fast rn even tho i feel sick. and i hope ill be hungry actually because i hate feeling so full. i want to do a thick smoothie bowl but i dont have a blender lmao ill figure something out haha,,, anyways as i was saying iwanna increase my cal limit to 400 i think thats what it was when i first started and i was losing weight so i guess itll have to do? i still wanna get to my ugw but i dont want people to comment on it it makes me so uncomfortable,, but at the same time i want to stop this shit and try to recover already but im scared and have no idea how

Single Father Lucifer Au

Time to discuss the timeline babies!! We are going to be discussing the timeline, what paper Lilith plays in here, and who is Lucifer’s spouse and what happened to them. 

Trigger warning: Mentions of death and grieving.

Lucifer got married relatively young to his spouse. He was around 24 years old and his spouse was 22. Their first anniversary was not yet upon them when Lucifer got the amazing news that they were going to have a baby! He was so happy when he found out, he picked up his spouse and twirled them around as they both laughing and happy tears accumulated in his eyes. He was going to be a father!

Tho, this happiness was nowhere near the same one he felt when Mammon was born. This man full on cried as he held Mammon close and kissed his spouses head. Never in his life was he so happy as that moment...which kind of fueled his decision to get another kid.

Because Mammon was not yet 1 year old when Lucifer’s spouse announced they were pregnant again! And from no other than our little Otaku baby!! (What are they eating for the boys to get out with such unique hairstyles.)

While Mammons birth had become more swift, Levi was a little less eager to come out to the world. Even without being born yet Levi refused to come out of his “room”, for the took TEN HOURS TO BE BORN!

The whole time Lucifer was carrying and distracting Mammon while his nerves ate him up. But finally Levi was born! The first thing he did was start crying, Levi knew the he was going to be a normie baby for a while and didn't want that at all XD. (Fun fact, for the first few years, Levi and Mammon shared a room, and even if they fought, whenever Lucifer went to check up on them, he could find them sleeping next to each other)

Afterwards Satan was born when Lucifer had 27 ears. And oh boy, our little wrath boy made Lucifer’s spouse be nauseous, plus he kicked a lot. Like, A LOT!  He was already mad with the world and throwing tantrums left and right all the time...and that was something he did even after he was born. Lucifer was going in 3 hours of sleep everyday because Satan would wake up in the middle of the night to cry. Thankfully, it was never a sickness or anything like that, turns out that the boy just wanted to be constantly picked up and stuff.

Then when Lucifer was 28 and Mammon 3, Asmodeus dropped in! He was, from the three that were already born, the easiest one to take care of. Yes, be wanted affection and attention most of the time and was a drama queen since baby but he was still easier to take care of than Satan.

Now, Lucifer was not expect at all to have twins, the possibility never crossed trough his head...but...life is full of surprises and wouldn't you know, now there were two more babies on the way!

After the twins were born, Lucifer and his spouse decided that they were not going to try for another kid...but oh boy wouldn't you know, on Lucifer´s 30 birthday his spouse told him that they were expecting another child! A little later Lucifer and his spouse found out that the baby they were expecting was a girl! After having 6 boys it would be an understatement to say they were not absolutely delighted by those news.

But...sadly that happiness didn't last, because a few months later, Lucifer had to bury both of them.

Now, things were difficult for Lucifer during this time,Mammon was only five years old at the time, Beel and Belphie had just turned one, his work was not paying enough to sustain the seven of them.

It took them a while, but Lucifer managed to keep his family together during the whole thing. )During this process he meet Simeon and Solomon who helped him with taking care of kids whenever he needed to stay late for work and couldn't contact a nanny)

(For your consideration, cousin Luke and uncle Simeon taking care of the six little gremlins and baking cookies and stuff!)

After Lucifer turned 36 and the twins turned 7, Solomon and Simeon convinced Lucifer to accept a new job offer which paid better. Lucifer was hesitant at first because it meant he needed to move but all of the kiddies were actually excited about this!

They moved to a bigger house and Lucifer started his new, were he meet Barbatos and Diavolo, he was his boss and became his most trusted friend in a matter 3 months, maybe less.

Also, Diavolo is REALLY with the kids. specially with Mammon, Asmodeus and Beel. Those three really love it when he comes over to watch over them or to just “get some papers from Lucifer”.

“...how many times has he come to get some pappers from dad and ended up staying for dinner?” Belphegor once asked Satan as they watched Diavolo help Lucifer prepare dinner. “137 times.” “...you counted them?” “ ┐( -_- )┌ ”

(Also, the first time one of the kids refered to Diavolo as dad the man was so fucking happy he called Lucifer yelling all excitedly, making Lucifer’s heart feel so fucking full knowing that his kids were actually liking Diavolo)

Dear @thetyrannt commented they wanted more Single Father Luci and how can i say no?! Plus, it was time i made the timeline...tho this one inst that good...good luck understanding it XD.
