Diluc had been looking around the lesser patroled areas of Mondstadt to search for the Architect

He didn't even need those incompetent knights to tell him their god had finally descended

He already saw the signs long before Mondstadt

Bc youve been in Wolvendom, the area has flourished over time, more fish in the water, more game to hunt and bigger, crows making circles in the sky despite there being no corpse

And one of the closest places to you,

Is the Dawn Winery.

Diluc's security against Venti began to hold up better, the staff didn't have to clean as much things like dirt or weather damage to the manor,

His hawk had never been faster delivering his letters, he almost thought the little guy had been drugged with something

He patroled Stormterror's Lair, and deep in the woods surrounding the manor that the knights hadn't bother to go into

Afterall, he figured you'd never had a mortal form before, so u were unlikely to fend for urself for very long in the woods lol

so he wanted to find u quick (aww softy :')

He even made a trip out to the Thousand Wind Temple and Dragonspine (he did report that one to the knights, he didn't want Amber, Bennett, or Creator-forbid Klee, being the few pyro users to have to explore it)

Finally, after doing the further away locations, siginificant in history and rich with leftover magic

Diluc figured that's where you might land first, so he saved Wolvendom for last

It would at least let him check on that wolf kid and maybe get to talk to him long enough to ask him if he's seen anything unusual.

The lord of Dawn Winery manor heads into the Wolvendom woods, just as sunset colors the trees...

It was a Friday evening, the sun was setting, the weather was pleasant and it was time for all of the Lupical to come together and eat a big feast!! :)

So u cook lots of Mondstadt favorites to eat on and a few Liyue dishes too

You look around the piles of fluffy doggos, happy and stuffed full they r slowly forming puppy piles

Andrius is finishing his meat platter, also sitting on all four legs on the ground

Razor is splayed on his back beside you, eyes closed, his feet sticking out the other side of the table, u chuckle at him

But not a single Lupical seems to be looking at you.

Gulping down your last few bites, you scan the treeline

U refuse to be that bitch in a horror movie where their gut says smth is off and they brush it off or barely look at their surroundings

Turning around to the treeline behind you, u see something... red fur?

U sit up some more, peering over the bushes at the bottom of the trees

You meet a pair of warm brown eyes, widened like they're just as shocked to see you

As u notice his familiar red high ponytail (but also not?? Its weird going from 2D to 3D and still recognizing bitches)

U peer down at his chest, as he carefully stands out of the foliage-

That familiar star shaped button that u can press for the character menu screen, the same thats on Razor, on Benny, on Fischl, on Lisa-

Hovers over Diluc's chest.

Diluc is in the bush, observing the human(???) stranger (he really doesnt want to attract the attention of that.. giant spirit wolf thing)

The figure sitting at a ... table?? (He can barely process all these absurdities at once, hes only got so much brain space)

Has sensed his presence, and as he grips his claymore, ready to demand answers,

Razor startles, and jumps up, smelling the pyro user, he summons his weapon-

The figure locks eyes with him, and all he sees is gold.

That doesn’t make any sense, because then everyone would be descended from Fritz also. Honestly the thing I suspect (and have suspected, ever since Ragako) is that anyone can be turned into a Titan, not Eldians specifically

Although, this Foundervision makes it seem like all Eldians do specifically have a specific link to Ymir. Is the implication all the people in that society had a little piece of her? Honestly none of the royal bloodline stuff makes any sense if you think about it for more than a few minutes

Everything always returns to unresolved trauma and transparent metaphors for bisexuality: 

“Hange. In the end, I’ll always be a Scout.” Jean said: I will prevent our friend from committing crimes against humanity, but I’m not like, happy about it

Another unemployed actress here. I see some of us are talking to you and catching up on celebrity gossip in the strike (whoever mentioned earlier this week that we don’t unplug online bc we need a break from work ✨NAILED IT✨) so I wanna say something about the paps/nepos/pr etc. Those bday pap walk pics are SENDING me. I live in LA and paparazzi aren’t just camped on random sidewalk corners. Maybe outside of big hotels bc they know NY and London based celebs fly in and stay there, plus many meetings/photoshoots happen at iconic hotels. But just randomly camped out in random neighborhoods of LA? Nope. Does the public realize how big LA is? TMZ is the worst but it’s named that bc it stands for Thirty Mile Zone. LA and what’s considered LA (other towns like Burbank, Santa Monica, etc) are all within a 30 mile square radius. Yes, some celebs live in Beverly Hills or Bel Air but many live throughout the city like in Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Los Feliz, and more. My rambling point being it would be impossible to just camp out photographers hoping to see a celebrity. It’s too big of a city with a ton of hot spots celebrities “could” be. There’s rarely “random” encounters these days especially since celebrities will now call the paparazzi.

I’ve wondered for years why in the blue fuck Kaia Gerber is more famous than her actual body of work and now it’s clicking (seriously I had no idea until recently how creepy Cindy Crawford and her family are!!!). The bday pap walk was not a fluke. She, him, and/or they called the paps for that. 100%. That wasn’t random. What people don’t get is fame is like wealth: it’s easier to acquire once you have it. When you’re poor, it’s easy to stay poor bc you get fines for late bills or can never get ahead. With career success, you stay in obscurity unless you become more known but that’s easier said than done. It’s really hard to get arrested. Some celebs get famous and stay low key and don’t play the fame game. The rest call the paps to stay relevant or get more famous or whatever it is they’re trying to accomplish. It’s a resource that only happens if ppl know you. I suppose I could call the paps but I have 5 small IMDB credits and am not worth anything, so of course I won’t end up in the Daily Mail even if I called them. I’m not even saying I would call the paps. What I’m saying is I don’t have the luxury of having that option. Kaia Gerber, the worst actress of all time, gets to hang out on vacation during the strike and is promoting struck work via pap walks bc of her movie coming out. Therefore she’s still relevant and on producers and casting directors minds when the strike is up. Media and paparazzi are a business. And in these times of Insta followings, being relevant matters more than being good at your job sadly.

Kaia Gerber is a terrible actress. I’m in a minority where I only think she’s a so-so model (she’s gorgeous but her eyes are so dead in soooo many of her photoshoots and her poses are pretty damn generic). Nobody would know her name if a) it weren’t for her parents and b) she didn’t have access to orchestrate her PR. There’s also a bunch of nepo babies who are in the industry who aren’t as famous. Why? They’re from more grounded families (some way more famous than Cindy Crawford) and are paying their dues by auditioning and slumming it with the rest of us in small theaters getting no press. Just bc you’re the kid of someone famous does NOT mean you’re famous automatically. The delusional fans who like these no-talent nepo kids like Kaia fail to realize PR is only what’s shown—there’s sooo much to Hollywood that the public never sees, like a nice nepo kid not calling in the paps. (I’d give names but they seem to respect their privacy so I will too.)

Kaia is famous bc she has good PR that she has paid for and orchestrated. That’s it. She’s not special enough to warrant allllllllllll of the publicity she’s received. I know ppl with parents who are more famous and they are more talented and they aren’t known yet bc they actually love the craft and aren’t taking cheap roads to get roles. Yes, they’re comfortable financially and yes they maybe get some small opportunities here and there but bc they aren’t strong arming themselves into the industry, they’re rising slowly. People need to start doing critical thinking about the media and stop acting like fame at this level happens just bc your parents are famous.

As I said, I was confused why she kept getting cast after I saw her ridiculous attempt at acting on AHS. I was like, “damn nepotism does matter more than it used to!!” bc hey, at least Kate Hudson CAN act. At least Sophia Coppola became a director and didn’t keep trying to act. Rumor Willis (who I don’t hate) never had her acting career take off the way it could have, and yet she’s a better actress than Kaia. I was so confused why the nepos I met in the wild weren’t famous but other nepos were. I had no idea the Daily Mail covered Kaia the way they do. I’ve been to several spots she’s been “papped at” and they are random AF parts of town and not usually celeb hotspots. She’s paying for her own clout. Period.

So yes, of course the paps were called on Austin’s bday. No debate in my mind. Can’t let the public forget Kaia Gerber and her silly movie coming out otherwise people would forget her…because she’s got nothing to back up her fame regarding talent, charisma, or personality. Everyone who supports Kaia supports rich kids cutting to the front of the line bc they can afford to pay to have that happen.

And im glad you brought up the point that paps don't just stake out places in hopes of catching these celebs. I think it's soooo important to underscore that the celebs call the paps themselves. Some have a tight working relationship with specific photogs (ie. Kim Kardashian etc). It's also a situation where in a coupling, one person can call the paps and the other one is unaware. Certainly both can call and are totally aware. But based on how much Austin dislikes the paps in general, I would probably say that the times Austin has allowed the paps to photograph him were few and far between compared to how often it's actually Kaia that calls them. Austin probably only calls them when it's him doing solo pap walk stuff, like we had seen him do around June.

And I agree with your point on Kaia being an okay model. She's a much better model than actress, but hell even kaia isn't the best of the best when it comes to modeling either. She never turns it off either, even in pap pics or "candid" pics with fans or whomever she's always "on". She needs to turn it off and get a dose of reality once in a while. She comes across as self absorbed when she does shit like that.

I'll end my long rant by saying I hope you are able to get by during this strike. idk if you're out there on the front lines but if you are remember to stay hydrated, and look after one another. Let's hope for some kind of resolution soon so you guys can keep financially supporting yourselves <3

i think losing ur virginity/wait with sex until ur in ur 20s is probably ideal tbh and i would absolutely encourage it for anyone who is in their teens rn and havent had their sexual debut yet. main reason being that u will be old enough to understand sex and its risks and effects and u will have had time to figure ur own body out more and u will most likely have at the very least basic level emotional intelligence and maturity that is required to have safe and healthy and enjoyable sex. like u have just finished puberty and just left teenagehood behind which is a messy and confusing and rough lifestage for all of us and ur now entering adulthood and have gained some perspective etc and u are way more in tune with urself (at the very least compared to when u were a teen) and both ur body and brain will be developed enough to be able to handle sex and have a realistic attitude around it and while ofc u can still be manipulated and u may still be somewhat naive it wont be anywhere near AS easy to manipulate u as it would have been earlier bc thats just how it is. u might still be vulnerable maybe sure but if ur vulnerable now u were even MORE vulnerable when u were a teen. its just how it is. thats how growing up works. u will probably have a way easier and more enjoyable sexual debut in ur 20s bc u will have a headstart in so many ways both physically and emotionally.

BUT im not gonna pretend like its that black and white and simple. Many girls (and boys but im focusing on women here) have perfectly normal and healthy sexual encounters when they are teenagers and i rly dont believe that sex will just automatically traumatize and harm u when ur a teen bc lets be real here, the key here is that u explore sex with UR PEERS, boys and girls within ur own age group, NOT ppl that are 20+ when u are like 14-16. when ur a high schooler and u want to explore sex u do it with other high schoolers. ppl ur own age. I think its perfectly fine and normal to have sex when ur a teen, but that is assuming u are having sex with other teens. NOT ppl that are like 5 years older than u. thats when actual impactful long lasting harm becomes highly likely. feeling like u got used and heartbroken by a boy in ur school aka a boy that is ur peer and ur own age will hurt and suck and will leave an impact on u but its a very different impact than the one u will be left with if u felt taken advantaged of by someone much older (not a teen). the dynamics are whats important here i think.

sex and relationships are messy and yes u can always get fucked up from it thats just how it is. u cant avoid it. u just need to be able to handle it and maybe ur not ready to handle it until ur like 25, thats fine. dont do it then. like if u dont think ur ready, just wait until u are. if ur like 15 and feel ready then go ahead but STICK TO PPL UR OWN AGE when ur that young. u gotta be equals. period.

Hello anon!! This is a difficult answer to give, you know. I will assume it isn't an attack toward me, why should you, so i will speak frankly and calmly. Earlier i explained why what he said was wrong, i was asked that. that said understanding certain concepts requires time and energy not everyone has or is willing to have. If they are not willing to have it then it is to condemn. Lewis' case is different. He is willing to improve and to change, that's why, and i specified it on the post too, i think it's really a big ass fucking up, but not something worthy of the crucifying process social media usually does. And for less than selfless reasons, really. I have no other social media than tumblr, but i imagine ppl on twitter waiting like vultures for the first mistake to attack him fiercely in order to make themselves and their faves better. But i don't think that after all social media talks matters, it is useful just for ppl to fight against each other, almost never for letting a message go through a celebrity. As for the acting surprised part, well, personally i wasn't surprised either, because it's something that u could expect easily if you have a grasp of how real life works. Like this is a 'disappointed but not surprised' situation. However what matters is that we believe in good faith mistakes and on willingness to improve. And that yes, he might never be aware of what he said bcs he is surrounded by likewise mentalities. What matters, often, is the intention and frankly, i do believe it was good. okay so. ive been thinking about this for a hot minute & i was inspired by what chelazon leroux ( which incase yall dont know who he is, he was on canada's drag race season 3 & he's an indigenous drag queen ) said on tiktok. & like i& rarely go on tiktok these days but something he said got my attention & was basically repeating what ive been thinking for the last few months or so &. that's the topic of like. making fun of outsiders who genuinely want to try & be respectful of our communities & have their heart in the right place & now in my case im thinking of making fun of reconnecting natives on just. not getting things right. & that really bothers me. & like obviously it's important to be informed & to guide others in the right direction. there are reconnecting natives who're earlier in their journeys & there are more advanced reconnecting natives who've been reconnecting for quite a while now & in my& case it's been 5 years now, half a decade. idk about you but for me at least i always compare it to a baby learning to walk for the first time. i wouldn't criticize a child for falling when they're still learning to walk for the first time. like, obviously we're all adults & we need to be aware & listen to connected natives but like when someone's coming to understand something about their culture, do you expect them to be an expert on the first day lmao. or the first year or maybe even the first few years even? like. no? lmao. like.

OK SO: the reason I got into unus annus was bc during the protests in what, april, possibly may of 2020, I saw protest information including what it was like to get pepper sprayed, I saw the unus annus pepper spray video. Pepper spray sucks. They say to use milk but water is better (tho an acidic dairy product might help), however, be sure to wash AWAY from your eyes.

I bring this up because the fbi recovered a photo from one of the protestor's phones.

Do Not take photos! Don't include faces! Cover up any scars or tattoos, wear nondescript clothes. Turn off your phone's GPS, data, & wifi. In fact, turn off your phone entirely, only turn it on if you need to make an emergency call.

If a pig throws in a can of tear gas, you can cover it with a pylon & douse it with water.

Do Not wear suction swim goggles, if you get hit with a rubber bullet or even just thrown to the ground too hard, you can pop out an eye.

If you wear contact lenses: do not wear them if there is a risk of tear gas or pepper spray.

If you wear glasses: only wear them if you really need them, try to wear the most nondescript frames you have.

If you use mobility aides, use the nondescript ones, not the cane you personalized with stickers. If you use a wheelchair but can also use a walker/rollator, go for the rollator. You can still sit on it if you need to, but it is safer. If you do use a wheelchair, cover up the logo & anything you did to personalize it. I highly recommend using push-handle spikes to prevent people from moving you without consent. Hell on wheels is a business that sells them suited for your needs. Mortimer is the only one here who feels like a drastic improvement. Super happy they gave him that specific mustache. He looks so much more like the morty we know and love to the point I might check him out in CAS and re-do my morty makeover w/ him as a base. 

Imo, and I think I can speak for most people that were looking forward to the townie makeovers, one of the most important updates was giving Bella and Cassandra the right skintones. But they’re still off! The skintone update was SO good, with so much variation, yet they still have washed out skin. It looks ashy, it’s not nearly as warm as it should be (which from what I could see was the MAIN complaint w/ the concept art) and it still doesn’t look dark enough.

WHY CHANGE BELLA’S DRESS.  Her hair was fine too imo though the new style doesnt look bad but WHY CHANGE HER DRESS. I feel like they tried waaaay too hard giving them a complete makeover when what we really needed was just a little more care put into them, as well as lore updates. Dina & Nina were the ones that needed a massive makeover moreso.

Speaking of lore updates... I’ve seen people say aside from likes/dislikes there really hasn’t been any changes? Which I can understand why that’d need to be a later update but I think that was the other important aspect we were looking forward too and I would have liked at least some comments on it, even if it amounted to nothing but “its coming eventually” 

Is part of the future lore update going to be something like there’s a bella imposter in the home? bc thats not bella. I have no idea why they had to change her face so much, like aside from skintone the concept art was so much better in comparison. I think Bella is the most disappointing here for me because she was only one that looked okay originally? A skintone update, cold/hot weather outfits, etc were really the only things she needed. Have no idea who decided she needed to have that No Chin problem waaay too many fucking townies have, though maybe that’s just the angle, but idk. It does look like they brought her chin up and I just don’t get it. :/

I have to agree w/ ppl that I don’t like what they did w/ Alexander. I know one of my friends felt like changing his skintone was kind of performative on their part and I’d have to agree, though for me it’s not the world’s biggest deal, just weird. Not to discount anyone that does feel uncomfortable w/ it like my friend did, just not my place to be offended by it or anything yknow. What I can say is I always liked how Cassandra took after Bella more while Alex took after Morty & I’m gonna keep that for my makeover. & They did the poor lad so dirty when he’s aged up lmao. That being said maybe an unpopular opinion but I actually think the hair change was cute & more fitting.

The best way I could describe the new Cassandra is just...disappointing. Like she looks better! There was improvement there for sure. But at the same time, I was hoping they’d change her face a bit more, to look more like her sims 2 version. Get rid of the softer look and make her face look thinner, longer. Looks like they might have done a bit of work, I just would have liked to see some more.

I was so excited about the makeovers bc so many of the earlier sims were in desperate need. The Caliente sisters specifically needed SO much work, that was the BIG one to me, but this makeover doesn’t give me much faith that the team will actually understand whats wrong with them aside from the whitewashing. And that’s only because everyone was thankfully so loud about it for so long. Like I think they’re just going to try harder to make them look more arab/hispanic which will probably include getting rid of their green eyes and call it a day without even touching on the alien thing. I’d like to hope they’d fix their personalities too since people were loudly irritated about that but. :/

Ok! Hey!!!! I kind of love you for all of these btw. this is gonna be LONG. SO yes, I was totally out of fandom at that point. This band did SO much for me, and a lot of us, but we never took into account how much it was taking from them or Gerard. That's all I can really say about it? Like I said, I wasn't in the fandom. So this was mostly my perspective. No one turned on the band. I think we just kind of grew up and started experiencing new things. Our interests change and merge as we get older. Some things I got from being an MCR fan stuck with me forever - i.e, my love of horror films and graphic novels, as well as my forever love of the guys. But the music wasn't what I needed anymore, yknow? I have diagnosed avoidant personality disorder, and severe depression as a result. My Chem helped me feel seen when I felt totally fucking invisible. It helped me form lasting friendships. I'm still friends with people I met in line to their shows in 2005, and on myspace. As I turned 19-20, my sadness started feeling more melancholy rather than anger. I listened to a lot of The National around then, and started getting seriously invested in film as a way of escapism. In regards to people hating revenge - I think a lot of people either left or stuck around for good. You can go back on old lj entries on the chemicalromance comm and read peoples reaction to Revenge songs. They hated how manufactured it sounded, hated how clean Gerards vocals were, HATED I'm Not Ok - thought it was too commercial for what they were prior. As someone who got into the via Revenge, it actually took some time to get used to the sound of Bullets! ALRIGHT. Ok. GERARD MARRYING LINDSEY. I wish I could figure out how to add a cut to tumblr now but IDK OK.  SOOO. Some background that y’all know but is needed for context. Gerard was in a LONG TERM relationship for YEARS with someone named Kat. No one has ever EVER seen her. Gerard only talked about having a girlfriend, thanked her in notes, and she is mentioned by some reporters sometimes (as goth looking). They break up. Gerard is ~technically~ single for like. a fuckin MONTH. then Eliza shit starts up (even tho she was alluding to being with him for fukin EVER). She fakes a pregnancy, they get engaged (around I Don’t Love You), shit was WILD. like BALLS TO THE WALL INSANE. I can go way way way more into this if y’all are interested just lemme know. THEY BREAK UP around the beginning of Pro Rev. Ok. OK. Within like. another fukin MONTH Gerard is seen MAKING OUT WITH LYNZ FROM FUCKIN MSI. They go to each others shows, seen holding hands ETC ETC. LIKE. THIS DUDE. This dude who had a LONG TERM GIRLFRIEND WE NEVER EVER SAW suddenly has had TWO PUBLIC RELATIONSHIPS IN THE SPAN OF NOT EVEN A YEAR.  also btw. We ALL thought he was gay, no fukin joke. Like I was saying earlier about not having any social media. We had an idea of what the guys were like from their stage personas and LOTMS. And like. Gerards Stage Persona is Loud. We thought Eliza mightve been a beard? Idk it was a weird time tbh.  BUT THEN THEN T H E N G AND L GET MARRIED????>>????? THEY HAD BEEN DATING A M ON TH. a MONTH. and they got fuckin MARRIED. The conspiracy theories, y’all, I can’t. IT WAS INSANE.  SO DUDE GETS ENGAGED TO SOMEONE, BREAKS UP, MAKES OUT WITH BASS PLAYER FROM MSI AND GETS MARRIED TO HER. ALL WITHIN T H R E E MONTHS.  goddamn.  So, ok. Last bit. Unfortunately the attitude towards language and WAS different back then. I know a lot of younger fans shit on older fans for saying so, but it WAS. It was totally different. MSI were seen as ~too cool, and their fans were pissed they went on tour with My Chem, etc. I wasn’t a fan, but I had seen them live a few times with a friend who was (not on Pro Rev). They just weren’t my thing and I hated Urines face. My friend who was actually a huge fan of BOTH msi and my chem separately was SHOCKED that G and Lindsey got together because their band and their vibes were so different. People mostly thought Lindsey was hot at the time but didn’t know anything about her, cuz again, no social media. Like, I cannot stress enough how much about these people we did not know. No one cared about their social lives or what they were like irl so we DIDN’T know how gross Urine and crew were. Like. A Huge factor as to why people were pissed and mad at Eliza was because she was making something Gerard obviously wanted to keep private into a public thing for attention and clout. Also, when he was being SO public with Lindsey it was shocking. Anyway I h8 msi.

He ropes you into everything he does. Doesn’t matter if u r a design student or an architecture student or if ur on the opposite side of the school from him, u r practically in his class. Dating him is like signing a contract sealing away ur own life bc he makes it a point to be ALWAYS w u

In class he doesn’t gaf if the teacher has ur seat on the other end of class, he is somehow finding a way to sit next to u against ur will or not. And when the teacher moves u two away from eachother INTENTIONALLY bc of this, he is threatening whoever happened to sit next to u to trade seats w him. He will go as far as to dress up as them to make it look like they’re them to be next to u and he’s so dramatic ab it.... being away from u felt like u were star crossed lovers whom the world was fiercely against

And if UR against this cuz ur tired of getting in trouble in class, or if you reject any of his advances, he’s gonna be really, really, really offended. He will at first sputter and be kinda shy and embarrassed about it, before he goes “fine! Have fun on your own without me, the greatest thing in your fucking life!”

He move seats back and will glare at you periodically every five minutes to pavlov dog you so that every five minutes every day, even when he’s not there, you feel the burning stare of vin jin

If you’re his s/o, he’ll buy you a matching pair of sunglasses so ur the freshest looking couple around Seoul (they’re hideous and thick but he thinks u look fly)

The glasses don’t have nearly as many layers as his does for himself so u can see, and u wonder how he managed to make them just as bulky and if he did it on purpose to sabotage u. Like “did u make my glasses purposefully ugly so no one else will want me?”
