i got into grad school and they're giving me a 70% reduction on tuition :-)

#also it's remote so I can keep working at the farm but you go irl for a two week intensive at the start of every semester so it's best of #both worlds + two of the three years half your time is doing in-person placements so #I am going to become a minister <3 and a farmer 👨🏻‍🌾⛪#I honestly love living in my hometown I love the river I love the stars at night I like the art scene and volunteer scene here I love it!#and now I don't have to leave and I can still work toward being a minister but also live in one place for more than a year. For the first #time since graduating college LOL

i thought splatfest was next week (& only found out it was this week because i happened to check splatnet) so i missed half of it … really disappointing

#i probably would have known it was this week if i checked my dash but i haven't been on all week #because classes give me limited phone/computer time & lately I've been using that time to read comics or code #i'll probably be back soon but it's also nice to take a break for a few days. i literally only got on now because i wanted to complain abou #missing half of grand fest LOL. i wanted to see the performances while fighting against my joycon gyro #now i have to look them up instead… it's just not the same #i at least played for like an hour this evening tho. but tomorrow I'm out all day TT-TT they should have held it at a time convenient for m #such as next week. Oh well goodbye splatoon 3 #i guess it's better than missing it completely tho. that would have been extremely disappointing #it's also bittersweet that 3's already at end-of-life because it came out my first semester of college and now I'm graduating this semester #and then moving on to a different college next semester… life comes at you fast. and makes your game lifespan feel infinitely shorter #fiftytenpost #splatoon

#SORRY im mad about my stupid college again #WHY do they require so many internhip hours??????#no wait i KNOW why. bc the chef who runs the program is EVIL AND STUPID #he literally thinks he as a chef is gods gift to this earth. he thinks CHEFS are gods gift to this earth but only if they agree with him.#however. gods gift to this earth do NOT deserve breaks. ('chefs dont get breaks' is a direct quote)#he thinks all chefs should work like dogs and SUFFER. and the industry should never change #and he loves the power of being the program head. (and most students' advisor)#and he can say im preparing you to be the best!!!!! and get away with it #and he doesnt respect pastry chefs. and guess what i am hahahah #like i know the culinary industry is toxic and most chefs are jerks. but bakeries are very different from restaurants #so i thought i could handle some jerky chefs during school and get my degree and go work in a bakery #(i can handle some jerky chefs)#the problem was that a jerky chef ran the program as if you were already working in the worst restaurant environment imaginable #and he only taught like everyone wanted to be world renown chefs of 5 star parisian restaurants that take 4 years to get a reservation #(which is crazy that he thinks hes qualified to get other people to that level but ok.)#and thats great for people who want that! but some people (me) just want a cute little bakery!#also ! its advertised as a 2 year associates program #which. is true that you'll only get an associates degree out of it #but 2 years is including summer semesters. sorry i don't think thats how that works. i think thats 3 years #2 years for people who decide to do extra and take summer semesters.#and i think the only realistic way to complete the internship hours is to take an off semester and only do the internship #so you're not doing it at the same time as classes #but that adds a minimum of 1 semester and maximum 2 #or if you cram the spring and fall semesters to have summer off and do the internship during summer #summer semesters are shorter. so youd have less weeks to complete the same amount of hours #it is simply not a 2 year program for the average person!!!!!!#i was IN COLLEGE FOR 2 YEARS!!!!!! AND I ONLY TOOK 1 (ONE) PASTRY CLASS!!!!!! I SHOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO GRADUATE!!!!!!!!!!!#and what do you MEAN you expect me to be in college for 3 years and only get an associates degree out of it. no thank you #its almost like...... an associates degree requires 2 years of schooling........ and theres too much happening in this program.......#bc the man in charge of it is power hungry and wants to control people and thinks chefs need to be beat into shape.......

#speculation nation #IM NERVOUSSSSSSS IM SO SCARED!!!!!!!!#im also planning the exact day i wash my hair prior (tomorrow) and the day i paint my nails (Sunday)#so that i can look my best on the first day. gonna try to look cool. like an unapproachable emo and/or punk #if i scare them away and/or just fade to the background then i dont have to worry about strangers talking to me #my tried and true method of antisocialization. yes i have very few friends in person why do you ask #anyways i bought a planner and everything. im gonna try to manage my time well #gonna be. uh. responsible. yeah sure #most importantly im going to pass all my classes bc i do NOT want to worry about taking any of them later.#i have 4 classes left for the fall and 3 classes left for the spring and then i'll finally graduate.#and i can be free from this fucking dump. a whole decade later.#rattling the bars of my cage violently. I started watching Suits today and have been playing the sims nonstop and have been reading nothing but fanfiction about gay firefighters and articles about how the CIA started a domino effect that created al qaeda and the taliban so yes I’m doing super well mentally

#I’m honestly like doing okay in a lot of aspects like I feel like I’m taking steps towards having a life I enjoy #but taking small steps over a long period of time gets so exhausting #and I keep saying ‘I just need to keep going and keep trying to add things into my life that bring me joy and then life will be better’#but it’s taking so fucking long and I’m tired of the ‘just keep going’ part and wanna get to the ‘every waking moment isnt a nightmare’ part #like can that happen now please #and I keep getting too cocky and thinking I’m there and universe does its best to push me down and put me in my place #I have a great day with a new friend at a beautiful location? cool but ur gonna be in such bad pain u can’t stand for at least 3 days after #i go out to eat with my family? sick but ur gonna get nauseous no matter what u eat and ur gonna be so exhausted ur gonna sleep for 2 days #and it’s just never gonna end is it? bc that’s the chronic part of chronic illness #this is the life I’ll be subjected to until the day I die #anyways not even my deep mental anguish can stop me from obsessively reading about the Soviet-Afghan war #and the main guy of suits is such a pathetic babygirl and I’m obsessed with him #and my sims are about to graduate college #and I’ve been writing and I made new friends and was invited to an event with them and am going to a dance party in a week #and I’m trying really hard to remember that things aren’t always awful

anyway — thank you! this blog is literally a dream rn, just a little circle of my besties, and it honestly makes me so happy that so many people are tuning in to see where the writing goes. it's honestly the best sort of motivation i have right now, and i really did have the idea that i would be more normal on this account in the sense of constantly posting about the rewrite and then immediately reblogged like 100+ pictures, so that went out the window.

Edited the carrd slightly to remove the "canon divergent" text and "original character" text, because......all my canon muses are canon divergent, and all my OCs are on the OC page so you know fghfgchvhfcgfgxfdcf ( also for some reason that text just annoyed me a lot ). #vent #don't think i have seasonal depression but i hate the end of the school year being during spring #because then i have to think about the fact that i'm not even close to graduating #it took me 3 years to finish core classes because i kept failing and having to retake some due to procrastination that i feel is controllab #le but probably isn't and i think i have an underlying issue but i don't have a diagnosis. and i don't think i'm getting one anytime soon #because my sister is going to college next school year and our family is going to be short on spending money #and i feel guilty that it feels like im wasting my parent's money #whenever we visit family they always ask when i'm graduating and next year will be my fourth year but i'm not and i feel like a fucking #fool. and yes i see a lot of posts about college positivity and that it's a marathon not a race and that it takes everyone different #amounts of time to graduate but it does nothing if it feels like im wasting it all away over something i can easily control but what if #it's not that easy to control? i need a psychiatrist but the last time i tried to get an appointment they put me on a 6 week wait list that #i never heard from besides one call asking if i still wanted to be on it #and i can't go to my previous doctor anymore because i'm 21 now and have to go to the one my parents use #previous doctor told me i seem fine and didn't have anything wrong with me #and i feel like she's right #but this excessive procrastination didn't start until high school and where did everything go so wrong? why can't i complete school work in #a timely manner anymore? i was able to do it just fine in my first semester but ever since i went on a 2 day vacation it's all been downhil #and i can't seem to recreate the success of getting A's and B's that semester again

i am so desperately in love with boytoy. anyway i planned our trip to wyoming today and im very excited for that in two weeks

#weird day today. woke up early to get pizza at school and plant manager is in a pissy mood today #he got snippy at me over my start date and im like bitch youre lucky i said id be there in june. i WANTED to start in july #but then i had my last ever college class (not really a class we just ate ice cream and hung out)#and later today im gonna go hang out with freshman and our other friend #i feel WEIRDDD im done with college but i have two more exams and 1 more week #also i might start a fight with boytoy after finals idk. i know hes stressed and thats whats making him Like That #so i'll give him until the end of wyoming to start saying thanks/showing appreciation #and THEN i'll start a fight #oh and also tomorrow is 3 months so i think im also just starting a fight for the sake of seeing how he deals with fights #but anyway! i love him and this issue will not stop me from cuddling him every second i can #yeah idk. its insane to me im graduation next week. this time next week my fam will be here and i'll be doing my last farmwork shift #alrighty. i love you tumblrinas. talk to you later #diary post
