Mmmm forte swap au brain rot upon ye!

I've already completed designs for everyone at the NDA but I wanna space out the posts a bit cuz I don't think I'd be able to say all I'd want to in just one post!

Ramble about character info below; (+spoilers for all of mdarc)

Obviously this is based on my silly doodles for rain code ship week but I've actually started putting a lot of thought in to this now! (I've had waaaaaaay too much free time recently and I'm blessed with the ability to come up with lore/world building very quickly given enough motivation!)

So first off: Why Storm Cypher? Well cuz it's a protagonist swap! Desuhiko's now the amnesiac trainee being haunted by Shinigami so it made sense in my opinion to make this au's name reflectant of his last name, Thunderbolt. So that's where the 'Storm' comes from. 'Cypher' because it's a form of code and... well I just think it sounds nice basically! I do what I do for my own enjoyment, I don't always need to have a reason - no matter what my teachers say.

Also I decided to change some (Not all) character's last name's to better reflect their newly assigned fortes.

Anyway- It's character info dumping time!!!

Desuhiko, like og Yuma, has absolutely no memory of his past. While his personality remains fairly intact, he boards the Amaterasu Express hoping to figure out who he is along the way. While nobody there knows who he is, he instead finds he have a knack for word-play, puns and pick up lines, leading to accusations of secretly being a circus clown as opposed to a detective. This attitude is only solidified more upon meeting Shinigami, the death god with just as many innuendos to make as he does. They get along almost dangerously well, even more so when he learns she has a humanoid form. After completing the first mystery labyrinth, he decides that being a detective HAS to be his true calling, since solving the case was pretty fun all things considered, and receives his hoodie from The Chief to help keep him dry once arriving in Kanai Ward.

Yuma on the other hand, takes the place of co-star of chapter 2. At first he comes off as cool and charismatic but he breaks down almost immediately at the slightest hint of conflict. He's been a very famous musician for years prior to becoming a master detective, though he finds it hard to fully express himself through anything other then his appearance and music. The anxiety induced from an excess of fans, attention, and not knowing who to trust anymore thanks to his own popularity, he was ecstatic to be scouted by the WDO for his talents in disguises. Once it blossomed into a fully fledged forte and he was allowed to work as a detective properly though... they started regretting hiring him. Chaotic, anti-authoritatian and impossible to track down, he's more of a vigilante then a real detective. He was selected to go to Kanai Ward due to it's predicted high mortality rate, the higher ups hoping to dispose of the troublemaker without being too obvious about it. What does APAB mean you ask? All Peacekeepers Are Bastards!!! The Chief wasn't very happy to see him wearing it but permanent marker is permanent.

I haven't decided if I'll change Shinigami's humanoid design yet. If I do though, it'll probably just be more remenicent of her beta design. I haven't decided if I'll swap the Amaterasu Express detectives either though but... maybe I will. Since its forte swap though, the peacekeepers will all remain the same.

I'm hoping to write a fanfic for this, as opposed to like... a comic. But I'm partial to the idea of maybe doing an ask blog as well? I don't know yet. Either way, I'll probably post more for this tomorrow! <3

a/n: hello anon! sorry for (very) late answering this, I have no idea what to write about them, and I don't understand their personalities. but hopefully satisfy you, thank you! <33 (i accidently click "post", i'm sorry TwT) & I make them separately.

Yoojin :

I'm sure, that he will spoil you with his money. You want something? Just say the name, and later you will get it.

You are treated like a princess/prince. He will treat you kindly and carefully. It's as if you are the most valuable thing he's ever had, and you could break at any moment if he's not careful. So he provides the best service for you so that you feel happy and comfortable. So he will stop if you say so.

His gaze is always on your face. Often times you stare at each other by accident. Every time that happened, Yoojin always averted his eyes or covered his face. If only you knew, that his face was blushing, he felt like he was being carried up into the sky.

Yoojin often thinks of confessing his feelings. He is sure that you feel the same way as him, but he has to push that thought away for fear that later you will be targeted by his enemies. Even though there would be a lot of bodyguards that he commanded if that happened, it could be that the opponent was stronger. So Yoojin chose to bury his feelings as deep as possible.

Quality time? That's rare. But once that happens, Yoojin will take you to a place you can't forget. There will be precious moments every time it happens. There will be another surprise that Yoojin will give, and it's totally unpredictable.

Act of service? Of course Yoojin will give it. Yoojin is a gentleman (maybe just for you), and he will try to replace all your jobs. He doesn't want to let the person he likes suffer for some reason.

"Yoojin, are you free tomorrow?" Your voice sounded in Yoojin's ear, making him stop his activities immediately. "Unfortunately, no. What do you want to do anyway?"

"I want to take you to a place that my friends talk about. I'm afraid to be alone because this is my first time there." First time? Yoojin feels honored to be able to go somewhere with you, especially since it's your first time. Yoojin always wants to be first for you.

"In that case, I'll clear my schedule and go with you."

"Huh? I'm not forcing you! There are other things that you should prioritize besides me." Hearing that, Yoojin chuckled.

"Of course not. You are my priority after all." Yoojin's statement made you silent and constantly think about it. He doesn't give any explanation about it, and will try to find a diversion topic when you ask him. He just likes to play games with you and see your confused expression.

Yeonwoo :

Will be confused about his own feelings. He always asks why his heart beats so fast when he's with you, hates it when you're close to another, and want you to always be his. And every time you meet, he's always nervous.

He will do everything he can to interact with you or spend time with you. He always helps you without you asking, putting a drink or food that you like on your desk with a sticky note that says, "you have done your best today" with a cute doodle, and he always invites you to go with him (if you want).

Like Yoojin, he always looks at you. His eyes are always on you, at least that's an secret that everyone in your and Yeonwo's classes knows.

Yeonwoo also wanted to sit next to you. Because when that happens, you two will always exchange messages via sticky notes. And if you only knew, he kept all those sticky notes and stuck it on his study table (of course in a place his father didn't know about) as a learning motivation.

He will always take care of you, and will not stay silent if you are hurt. And if that happens, he will always treat your wounds. (Also so you two can be close) but he gets nervous when he touch you.

He often takes you to the library together, then spend time together there. He will also help you with your homework or explain parts you don't understand. Surprisingly, you can immediately understand the explanation rather than the teacher's explanation. This makes you want to study with yeonwoo all the time, and of course he doesn't refuse (he's actually very happy)

Your eyes focus on the book and try to understand its contents. But no matter how many times you read it, you still can't understand it. Because you are too focused to understand it, you are not aware of someone's existence. You finally came to your senses when the person pressed a cold drink against your cheek, which surprised you.

"You're so focused, you don't even notice me." Yeonwoo handed the drink she brought to you. "From me. Think of it as a gift because you want to study hard."

"Yeonwoo, don't you always give me food and drink at my desk?" Yeonwoo nodded. "It's not expensive." "But still–" Yeonwoo sat next to you, took a pencil, then explained the part he was pointing at.

Oh, if only Yeonwoo knew, that your heart skips a beat when you see him; how he speaks and makes such an addictive voice, his handsome face, and the distance between the two of you is close. In fact you two are almost touching. And now...

"Are you listening?" Makes you surprised and aware. "Yeah, of course. Please continue." Yeonwoo smiled, then said, “Good.”

Once again you are surprised because he just smiled. I repeat again, yeonwoo smiled! He looks more and more handsome. Yeonwoo could have killed you because of his good looks. Without you knowing it, you're smiling too. Yeonwoo immediately turned his face the other way, making you confused.

Oh and if you only knew, Yeonwoo was almost driven mad by you. His face was as red as a tomato, his heart skipped a beat, his soul was carried flying into the sky. Since earlier, he was holding back from smiling and screaming.

OK SO BASICALLY it's in the 1980s cause i LOVE old 80 and 90s slashers, and The choir r more or less the schools newspaper/yearbook committee and stuff. Penny is the new girl, having recently moved to Uranium for the same reason in Legoland, y'know.. the weed smoking shit lmaooo but uh-

(this is all a wip btw i migjt change it cause i haven't really had time to myself the last few weeks)Basically Penny joins yearbook and the school paper to get to know some people, and she's a instant hit with them all, especially ocean cause ofc i gotta make it perfectdolls, but being in those two groups makes noel and especially ocean way to curious for their own good so they drag penny along to a abandoned house they've heard strange reports about and find smth in it (im still deciding if it's gonna be like a haunted book or some relic i honestly don't know) and it ends up in Penny being possessed by a demon/ghost/witch and essentially becoming Jane, but a extremely murderous version.

Noel and Ocean have to flee from Jane, or Doll-Face, and find the rest of 'choir' and they sorta have to figure out a way to save penny and also stop her from her murder spree, and first they gotta actually FIND HER and not let her kill THEM.

It's mostly Noel, Ocean, and Penny/Jane centered ofc cause the choir splits off into two groups to try to cover more ground, so Savannah (Ricky ofc, I just love the Savannah HC), Constance, and Mischa are all in their own group doing seperate research so they can cover more ground..

uhmmm i don't really like Noel's outfit but i Aammmm struggling on designing it a bit, But Jane does wear the same stuff as Penny ofc and i'm still designing the rest of the choir.. Maybe i'll write a fic of if? Idk man.. i'm to stressed lately to really write

Sorry, I've been a ghost of my former self lately. I've been neck deep in WonderCon prep and meetings and other busy-ness.

AAAA finally getting these open again :')

there have been a couple updates to commissions, including in some of the prices. the rules still are the same as last time though c: and the process itself also has not changed either!

but!! backgrounds for the illustrations are officially available now too!! :D backgrounds that require shading and lighting but are otherwise just backdrops are an extra $5, and then scene-like environments with more detail and background elements, or in which character interacts with their surroundings, or backgrounds that require depth and perspective, are $10 to $15 extra depending on complexity! we can always discuss these and see what works for any given order tho, as usual c:

simple gradients or textures or patterns all remain free, and icons, doodles, and (especially) experimentals may get nifty backgrounds entirely on the house too! :D

and!!! i'm also going to be offering $5 USD doodle commissions too!! you can read more about 'em and the examples more closely over [here]!! they work a bit different than regular commissions in that they have a 30min time limit (and their own queue list, too, so that they don't take slots from the regular orders) :3c

Shitty doodle hour is a event I often run, where each request gets a shitty/fun/ dumb 3-5 minute doodle done out of it. All requests are open for about an hour, closed soon after, and posted 3ish requests at a time.

BUT, for the fourth year in a row, I'll be working ON Odaiba day, so I won't get to post and do day of. SO, WE'RE DOING WHAT WE DID LAST YEAR!!

Last Call For Christmas Cards

As a followup to this post, so you guys know I didn't forget:

This is the final boarding call to get onto the Christmas card list! I'm doing the last of my cards tonight and mailing them tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec 5)! Won't offer again after that. After pulling cards and setting aside others for my family and additional events, I have about 5 left from the box I bought so I thought I would see if anyone wants one who didn't catch my first one.

Cards are just generic from-a-mixed-box cards with a little handwritten message and a REALLY sloppy Johnlock doodle in them (or another ship if I know for certain you're not here anymore LOL. But default is Johnlock chibi head doodles).

If you're interested, just send me a DM, and I'll confirm your address, and you do NOT have to send one back to me, only if you want to. This is just my way of spreading a bit of holiday cheer because I'm really not feeling it this year, and admittedly it made me happy doing some of them last night :)

MY ARTFIGHT ATTACKS OF THIS YEAR SO FAR!!!! I planned to attack more but...This is the first year I actually like- actively am getting attacked OUTSIDE of my mutuals! Which IS exciting but- at the same time as you can tell...I don't have time to attack people in result omg xD

The graph-paper'd doodles, Calypso, Hazel, Sunflower ALL belong to Luna-Lazuli on DA, TH and AF!!!

I've been revenge-chaining like 4 diff users with no joke, so I got 0 time to think of what to type here otherwise LMFAO

I don't wanna yap too much in this desc, as I'm mega-busy and trying to avenge 4 diff drawings in under 3 days isn't easy for me xD. The 2nd attack here of the zora, was an attack I've drawn tuesday I think, and then wednesday-friday I got 4 ATTACKS AGAIN- SO YEAH I'M AS WE SPEAK SKETCHING THE 4TH REVENGE DRAWING (final one actually for said Yoyoyo person, as it'll be the only characters left, that I haven't drawn of theirs!)

BUT- I can mention, that I loved doing something new again via combining pencils and markers!! I didn't really- like do it “symbiotically” if that makes sense? But yeah, in these drawings the pencils played a much more active role in me pulling off some things with shading or reflections! I got more polychromos, which means, I can combine more and more of the 2 in the future! I can't wait to have more time to draw traditionally though...I might crank back on revenges next year bc I just this year simply had so little time for it

I STILL wish for a 300-Ohuhu set to magically appear in front of my doorstep though some day. A delulu guy can dream! 🥴

BUT YEAH!!! HERE'S PROOF THAT I STILL EXIST!!!! I SHALL SCHEDULE A POST FOR TOMORROW,, WHERE YOU CAN SEE MY 4 REVENGES,,, AND IF I FINISH IN TIME I'LL ADD THE OTHER 4.

I made a Cara acc to get off Insta as an artist officially, so YEAH....Praying things work out and I stay off any social medias planning to use AI algos that feed off posts. We as artists are not safe anymore everywhere unfortunately.. :")

But I'm hopeful, this'll die out in a few years...

Life Update for 12th May

I have so much coursework to do that it's taken up a large portion of my life but tbh I have nothing but my ADHD and laziness to blame lol. I have 3 huge assignments due by the end of next week, a biology mock exam to revise for in 2 days, and a social life to keep up with :'] It's all fine though coz I get to go to Alton Towers theme park after my actual biology exam is done on 7th June. It's starting to become summer now and there's a heatwave right now so I'm able to do more stuff, if you wanna see what the system is up to, I have an instagram I'll happily give to people?

Also I've gotten into Avatar (2009) and Avatar Way of Water, the Metkayina clan from the latter low-key high-key reminds me of the Zora from LoZ so that's probably a part of why I like it tbh. Very good movies, the worldbuilding is phenomenal, the linguistics is an absolute treasure trove to explore, and I don't usually like love stories or romcoms but I think Way of Water definitely managed to explore different kinds of love and hate in an easily digestible way and has some very morally grey characters with complex motives. I like it 10/10, will probably read fanfics of it on ao3 later (probably even the bad Wattpad ones for fun too)

And me being me, I made an oc for it too coz I can't engage with a piece of media if I don't have an oc obviously. Her name is Mizawt, she's a part of the Metkayina clan if you haven't noticed, and I'll probably make some posts about her later coz I want to.

Speaking of media and ocs and sketchbooks, I've finally finished my big sketchbook and have moved onto using an A3 sketchbook for big character design work and a tiny plain paper sketchbook I got from my college for doodling. I have an original story fusing Filipino mythology and the Princess Diaries and Aphmau MyStreet for fun with my boyfriend :]

Other fandom stuff; excited for Chonny Jash's newest song to release tomorrow-ish, getting back back into Fear & Hunger and the first game is still my favourite (mostly just coz of how simple it is to master and understand) I hope Miro was able to recover most of their lost update progress from last year, my friends are getting me into Invincible and JJK (mostly the two boys in my friend group - omg yes I have irl friends now and it's a big group of friends and I love them all, college has turned out NOTHING like highschool (uh thanks to anyone who's stuck around who knew the mess I was in highschool I'm a lot better now)), and UK moth fandom still revelling over that new moth discovered literally December.

Writing Update/Art Update 5/9/2023

Many things happened last week. Not very many of them were drawing. I'll get back to that.

I have finally started posting the big (it's not really big. Medium-big. It just felt big) fanfic that I have working on for most of the year. You can start here if you want to read it, Chapters 1-3 are currently available.

I finished the smut. I had mostly finished it by Friday, but then we had a belated-because-we-were-waiting-for-spring-weather backyard birthday party for my daughter this past weekend, so I had to spend a solid 48 hours in the paralyzing deathgrip of anxiety at the prospect of socializing with people I don't know (the parents of some of my daughter's classmates), so I didn't get much of anything else done, although I did clean my house and buy a bunch of hot dogs.

I only got one doodle done this week, which took me three days, spread out over the anxiety deathgrip, but I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I really would like to start on a more serious project this week, but I may get back to them, we'll see how it goes. I do want to thank everyone who sent in prompts, and I'm sorry I haven't gotten to more of them. Turns out I'm real bad at doing quick, fast-turnaround doodles! Is anyone surprised??

After that, like, I said, I finished up the porno. I was hoping to post it yesterday, but it was pretty late at night by the time I finished my editing sweep. Today was a go places posting day and I didn't really want to post two different fanfics in one day, plus I had made kind of a lot of edits, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to let it sit a day and then do another sweep before posting. In other words, tomorrow, probably.

This morning, I re-read what I've gotten written so far of Ductwork, which is the working title of the next story in the Heart is a Muscle. It's 7707 words at the moment, and I get hot mad every time I read it because I want there to be more of it, and unfortunately, there is only one way to make that happen. But it's gonna!! I keep telling myself that it was really worthwhile to have taken the time to write go places first, because Ductwork is largely about Rukia and Renji finally digging down into a lot of festering insecurities from that time in their afterlives. I have a couple different approaches to writing these days, and I'm gonna try to do the thing that ended up working for go places, which is 1) try to write something every day, 2) chronological schmonological, write whatever I can possibily come up with, I'll just cram it all together at the end, this was very fun and easy last time and definitely did not take six drafts and a color-coded spreadsheet. Based on past experience, I do not think I am going to be able to power through to completion, so my goal is to add at least 20k words to the thing before I flame out in a blaze of beautiful depression and spend the rest of the summer on something insane, like bringing back the Soul Society Tattoo Artist AU. My overall prediction is that it will be around 60k, but I'm not discounting the possibility that it could be another 100k-er. (it better not go over 120k tho, I will die for real)

Anyway, that was my week! Whew!

Speaking of your writing I was struck with the most incredible fantastic amazing art idea after looking at some of my old wings AU doodles. However, my drawing tablet went through the shredder (<- Puppy) I have to WAIT. To give the full idea justice but trust me bestie I'm so excited to show it to you.

TOBI!!!! I was just thinking about you the other day!! My dad and I were watching Labyrinth for the first time in a while, and when I realized the baby's name was Toby (i'd forgotten) I just went...ah..Tobi...I hope he's doing well...

I'm doing alright! I've been very busy this semester, and we are approaching finals so it's probably only going to get busier soon. But! This has been my first semester mostly in person in a very long time! And I'm officially fully in uni rather than dual credit, so I'm somewhere else now and have met SO many people. Actually am planning to meet up with one of them tomorrow to go to a restaurant/museum for class! And to watch a few movies with two others sometime soon.

Also!! If you read my fics I'll love you forever and ever and ever even more. This new titz one has been sitting for several months, but I finally pulled it back out! And I am rather nervous about it because Fitz and Tam are both particular characters, and so combining them just makes them even harder to write. and THEN! throwing in Fitz's Alvar feelings makes that EVEN MORE difficult. but! it was also an absolute delight to work on so I hope you like it :)

and holy shit wings au art!!! i trust you so much I am so excited to see it--and don't worry about however long it takes! wings au is years in the writing, i've got experience with patience. wait btw, I don't know if you're aware, but I'm attempting to post the epilogue soon! I have the rough draft and the anniversary is coming up, so I'm hoping to have it edited to post on the ending's anniversary. it's a little over a week away, but also finals are descending AND its nano, so we'll see what happens. it WILL be out by the end of the year for certain though (and during october I went through and re-edited the whole thing for grammar and details--it's ridiculous how many its it's mistakes there were because i KNEW the difference. i'd just autopilot do one or the other and not catch it in my quick edits)

I linked all the songs in the Notion page as well! So, picking songs was apart of the ship template. I didn't get the time to finish editing all the ship templates yet, so I'm just gonna post this.

Intro Rambles

I was just thinking it'd be fun to fill out Ship Templates for my fave ships: LimGuda, XanLena, IdaTatsu, JuAli, KuroEne 🥰💗✨

I love them all dearly so I have them tied as my No. 1 fave ships since they are all important and personal to me, just in different ways 💞

I can probably post them tonight. I don't have recent coloured doodles for a few of them, though, so I'll use official arts for the ones I don't have recent coloured doodles (that'd fit the template)

I'm planning to make a long ramble doc for each of them eventually! Whenever I get the time. I think for now I'll just post the Ship Templates

And then later, I'll make posts adding my rambles underneath (either through separate posts or reblogs)

I slightly modified others' blank Ship Templates that I'm using, I'll post the modified blank versions that I did of the ship templates, too, along with the OGs

I edited the colours and edited the text alignment on the templates to make things more symmetrical cuz it was bothering me HAH...

Ok so I did underestimate how long it'd take to pick songs and compile a list of them for my ships, anyways I'll be posting the ship templates tomorrow 👍 It was apart of the ship template to choose songs for your fave ships.

Cuz me fixing the alignment on the OG ship template means I have to move the images and text on all 5 of the ones that I did KDSKDKSDKSK

Rambles

I need more XanLena core songs… It's hard to come up with XanLena core songs.

Though I'm sure there's Xanxus core ones, songs about resentment and anger and wrath

I mainly listen to Vocaloid and J-pop, and anime and game music the most. And a bit of C-pop and K-pop.

For game music, this includes Chiptune (NES - GBA - DS pixel games era style music, and modern Chiptune) and orchestral ones (Touhou music), and other great video game OST tracks (Persona 3/5, TWEWY).

I usually pick from Vocaloid songs and J-Pop songs for my ship templates.

LimGuda is EASY for this. Also picked ones for IdaTatsu pretty easily too.

For Vocaloid songs, I have a few in mind for JuAli. I need to find more, though... I wanna find more songs with a lighthearted competitive vibe to them.

My picks for KuroEne that I chose for my ship templates were more lighthearted and lovey dovey.

I can have some angst ones too for them, as a treat :3

I think it's interesting too like it shows Ene's conflicting feelings of Love and Hate, and desire and longing for Kuroha/Saeru, due to the echoes he carries of her loves, due to the vessel he uses, and how she feels drawn to him.

Kuroha showing her the "world of pleasure" by tempting/seducing her, the addiction of each others' touches and the pleasure... Falling for the temptations/seductions of a monster, and the subtext of possessiveness.

This fits my KuroEne AU so well with the context of them having a tense (intense), dark and dangerous, "Love-Hate" relationship

Kashii Moimi's own translation is listed in the YouTube video. It has less clear English, but it's their own interpretation of the song (or at least approved by them), which is also cool to see.

Like that line "You're always so suggestive, with a face like you know everything" fits so well with how Kuroha/Saeru is the embodiment of "Knowledge" in KagePro with how he's older than the world itself and is essentially a "living encyclopedia" that carries knowledge from the start of civilization all the way to the modern age.

LimGuda: Douman's "beautiful lies," playing at love, wanting to learn how to love Ritsuka. He believes he wants to learn how to love them so he can destroy them. He puts an emphasis on trying to be evil like a bird preening "Look at how evil I am!!!"

But, compared to how he was as an enemy, even though Douman wants to curse and kill them, he really isn't "serious" about doing so, once domesticated at Chaldea. Even when he curses them in the Valentine's Day scene, it's very lighthearted LMAOOO.

IdaTatsu: Idate's hidden truths. In the WATGBS AU, which is basically just me and my friends writing an original story with our versions of the characters, Idate keeps secrets of his true nature from Tatsumiya.

He eventually tells her that he's a demon, but he doesn't tell her about the dark secrets of his powers, how he's the "Lord of the Underworld" and the "Star Eater" who drinks peoples' blood and souls and keeps the dead souls in his own personal void hell.

XanLena: Xanxus keeps secrets of his past (Cradle Affair) hidden from Selena because he doesn't want her to know, since he doesn't want to risk losing their relationship. But once Selena finds out (after being told by the other Varia members), she would react appropriately.

As a bit of a tangent, I'll talk about my KHR OCs for a bit.

My KHR OCs, Selena and Linh, are living their best lives in my KHR AUs (there's only mild angst for character/relationship purposes), and that's it.

It's mainly a slice of life AU about Selena's day to day life living with the Varia. In the Varia arc of KHR, Xanxus' deepest traumas gets dug up, so he just goes unhinged and can't contain himself as a result.

In my KHR AU, there's some angst and tension caused by how Xanxus never wants Selena to find out about his past (the Cradle Affair incident AKA his Coup d'état as a teen and what followed), because it's his worst vulnerability and insecurity and trauma, he doesn't want her to know about it.

Selena is smart so she'd definitely realize that there's something not being told to her, something that only his longtime companions know. There are secrets Xanxus and the others have, that she isn't allowed into. She knows Xanxus is hiding things from her, and is ok with it, cuz she believes that he can open up on his own terms if he wants to talk about it and is comfortable with doing so. It just so happens that Xanxus never wants to.

I think Idate is like Xanxus (KHR) in the way he never coped with any of his traumas, he only discarded them as stepping stones to move forward towards his goals. Like Xanxus, he is not the type to handle and face things, he wants to forget them and leave them behind to the best of his abilities. But Idate's angst is still way more mild compared to Takama and Algol's dynamic in the WATGBS AU.

KuroEne: Kuroha seduces Ene by tempting her with carnal pleasures, and keeps the secrets of his plan to commit the Tragedy (killing the Mekakushi Dan on August 15th, Kagerou Day) hidden from her. He tells her "beautiful lies" in order to keep up his facade.

He decides to act tamer prior to the fated date of August 15th, catering to her desires and befriending and bonding her and spending time with her and actually getting to know her. They'd do soft and fluffy stuff like go to the amusement park together, play video games together, and eventually, get intimate with each other.

Due to his inherently dark and twisted nature, Kuroha/Saeru prioritizes his own desires and desire for immortality, and constantly keeps causing the Tragedy by killing the Mekakushi Dan, Marry's friends, forcing the time loop resets. He also believes that doing this allows him to be with his partner forever, because he can continue to come and meet them forever and ever.

These are just short summaries.

With how it references an eternally looping world and fading memories/dreams

Fits well with the time loop resets in KagePro and how only Kuroha/Saeru remembers previous Routes

I Thought it'd be funny to draw Minnow with it but never got around to it skaldfkl;sdjf. I wanted to call this "Putting the 'weeping' in Weeping Ink Syndrome

After I drew this Valentine's drawing, I wanted to redesign my boy Orchid Rose! Just needs to be finished

A redesign of an old fox girl I had made a while back. (The one farthest to the right in the ref images) I wanted to make her a Lynx! I also had like. the random ass idea of a rantsona that was just a plasma ball in a suit that I thought about pursuing.

Slight redesign of my Pokesona! I just called them Marotales (being a marowak and ninetales fusion) but I need a different name. I wanted to introduce Shiny Hisuian Zoroark into the mix as well and grab features from them.

I wanted to make an OC based on the salmonids that fall when you splat a mudmouth, but since I would've just. made them purple too, I decided that this is a baby pic of Violet! Baby's first job after being a snatcher was being a mudmouth :)

So, Cali is in the middle of another storm, yay me~ 🙃. Tomorrow I get to go out in it because I have appts and errands. We're in the middle of a flood watch with wind advisory and potential power outages atm. Nothing new, I guess? 😅

Yesterday I had my bedroom window open listening to the deluge of rain, because I actually love the rain. For the longest time, Cali was in a draught and I wished for nothing more than rain. I can't help but feel that phrase "be careful what you wish for" is coming back to haunt me.

I'm sure it'll be okay. It's global warming, surely. Everything's out of whack. Just gotta hang in there until the next season's crazy weather, and then the next, and the next.

I've also been watching lots more vids on Youtube (to no one's surprise), but from all the things I like; ranging from culinary, to Myer Briggs, to art, to science, to resin... man I miss working on resin.

I keep checking the weather forecast and I need 70+ degree weather to come back (to work on resin) but I also really don't want warm weather back, lol 🫠. So conflicted.

And then I remember I still have a ton of things I can work on with graphics- on the computer and on mediums. I just seem to mentally skip over that. It's like I need a huge checklist or sign right in front of my face. Even if I'm watching vids most of the day, when I get free time to actually sit and do something- I give that time to something else- I prioritize something else. I don't know what it is. Or why that is.

When I work on resin, I'll literally wake up in the morning, go out into the garage first thing, won't come back inside until it's like 1am or 2am. I'm out there all. day. long.

It's like an escape.

I think there's a disconnect with other things when I compare it to that. Because when I find an attachment to projects, I don't pry away. It's almost impossible to pry me away.

Another thing I've been doing lately is watching movies in the evening. Some new, some old. But I'll put them on with a sketch book in front of me, and doodle.

For the record, doodling is different from working on an actual project (for me at least).

I'm also still trying to figure out what graphic to make for that puzzle. Thinking some kind of scenery with focus on ~something~. I might actually pull some places from a book I once was writing back in college (that I never finished). It might be time to revisit that.

My skills in drawing scenery though... 🫠. Yeah, this will be a fun challenge /sarcasm. Let's just reference all the trees and foliage necessary to get this task done 😶

Because, I mean, it's still all here in my head. I just never followed through with writing the whole thing.

I was like 170 pages in at 8pt font or some nonsense, and not even halfway done with the book. That's why I stopped, lol. It would have had to be chopped up into multiple books with multiple "climatic" endings 🤷🏻‍♀️. It put me in a position of "I dunno what the heck to do" and we see how well that went 🙃

That turned into "I'll come back to it later" and "later" turned into months, months into years, and years into indefinitely, and indefinitely to..... I think about it occasionally. It's in a folder in my bookcase where the last time I looked at it was years ago.

I still use my OCs in a lot of things though.

Marcel aka Draw Like a Sir, on Youtube, has a video that I'm pretty sure I've linked in a previous post- about how the B pencils are not easy to erase, but they're great if you're "coloring" or "filling" with them. Use the others for sketching, as they erase better. Always remember to sketch lightly, so your eraser will have an easier time to erase.

in other news, i start school again tomorrow. I'm not particularly excited, but i'm not that worried either. One of my favorite teachers was replaced with someone completely new, so i'm not thrilled about that, but it's fine. also, i have to wake up way too early (5:45ish AM), so that's gonna be hard to do.

if i can find a way to move images from my phone to my computer, i might post some school doodles! they always turn out better than my art when i actually have time to draw, for whatever reason. or maybe they don't. truth is, doodling in class makes me so embarrassed for some reason. someone could see me drawing, and think it looks awful, and never tell me.

irrational fears aside, i hope that i'll be able to tie some loose ends and finally make some friends who understand and value me as a person.
