LOUIS. probably because i relate to him so much. instant connection. tricked into loving myself. also like hes literally louis how could i not love him do i need to even explain this

when i started reading the books i didnt care for book louis that much lol but i did become an armand stan. possibly bc i also relate to him im selfish like that i guess. also just his whole backstory and the way it informs everything he does is so fascinating to me. ppl say hes incomprehensible and hes literally not. everything he does makes sense when you consider his life experiences

- Currently reading: ...i mean mostly just renheng fanfic but uhhh. i did read where the crawdads sing from delia owens (just plucked it out from the bookshelf randomly bc i was bored) a month or so back. it was neat but no like particular strong feelings abt it. it was very well written and i liked the flow of the prose a lot. also waiting for crooked kingdom to get a finnish translation bc i got six of crows in finnish and i dont do book series as mixed language sets generally. (also the translation work itself was just like an absolute fucking banger with the imagery and metaphors used like chef kiss)

- Currently watching: no particular show (last thing was when i rewatched fmab a couple months ago) going on but like. random video essays or informative stuff on yt honestly and its mostly for bg noise.

- Current favorite character: gee i wonder. dan heng (past editions included), blade, (big gap here bc i tunnel vision on characters), bailu, luocha, jing yuan i think for specific ones from hsr for now. am looking out for jingliu and fu xuan too i need to study them. in genshin its like. yeah its mr childe ajax tartaglia all the way but i kinda just havent been feeling it for the game much so eh. tighnari, kazuha up there too n arlecchino obvi.

My exam is over, it went better than expected amd I didnt have another blackout so yay for that :) Sooooo this means I'm free for 7 whole days before i need to do anything for uni again! So naturally I'm gonna have a GoT marathon of seasons 4-6, probably another Torchwood marathon and I'll probably finally manage to actually write out some of the fanfic ideas i got during the last few weeks for Torchwood and I'll sleep a lot :) so it's gonna be a short week, but it's gonna be good and relaxing :)

currently reading: im a third of the way through chavs: the demonization of the working class by owen jones and really enjoying it. highly recommend if you’re into class politics, hate margaret thatcher, and fascinated by how the british media portrays its working class.

currently watching: s5 ep11 of the americans - truly truly recommend if you have not seen this show yet!!! im also watching new girl for some lighter entertainment, and i also have watched three episodes of i may destroy you. i need to finish the latter but alas working full time is not fun some times

currently craving: some proper hot sun. i was meant to go to southern spain last year and still have not gone </3 as much as i would love to travel abroad this year (see my family in berlin!!) i just dont want to risk the travel. i also am dying to go down to manchester and see friends whom i have not seen in two years!!

I agree. I don’t know if I can suffer through another season that focuses so much on Owen. Right now I need each member of 126 to interact with each other. I need a Marjan x Judd plotline, I need a Paul x Judd plotline, I need a Mateo x TK episode, a TK x Marjan plotline etc etc

For those of you who arent porn blogs and follow me from posts about wrestling, you know that my relationship with watching WWE faithfully kinda died after Mania last year.

I havent paid any real attention to the product since then, either. Of course I kept up with the big news of the past year (The brand split, Owens winning the title, James Ellsworth, Goldberg vs Lesnar) but I rarely ever watched.

But this year’s Royal Rumble hooked me back in. I renewed my Network subscription even. This years Rumble looked out to actually be unpredictable for the first time in 4 years. Or at least there were a good 10 entrants that werent Roman Reigns had a genuine chance of winning.

I didnt watch any of the undercard ( Of Course AJ was gonna drop the belt to Cena) and I busted my ass at work to get home early so I couldnt miss a second of the Rumble. What preceded was a 50 minute demonstration of what’s wrong with WWE today.

Now Im gonna say, in-ring and wrestling-wise, this was the best Rumble in years. But all of the spectacle, the drama, not expecting anything, all that was non-existent here.

There were a couple decent spots, I enjoyed Mark Henry and Braun Strowman’s exchange. Miz taking nearly everyone’s finisher was fun to see, Tye Dillenger actually entered at #10, those were great.

When we got to the point where Goldberg, Lesnar, and Taker came out is where I came near to my snapping point, everyone and anyone were going over that top rope with ease.

I lost it at #30, #30 could have been anyone, Angle, Joe, hell I wouldve popped for HBK or Stone Cold.

But who do they put in at #30?

ROMAN. FUCKING. REIGNS.

The EXACT reason the Rumble has sucked over the past 2 years is the guy that was supposed to make this Rumble great or at least surprising.

And it made me think. Why do I just hate this so much? Its because Roman has never gotten any proper buildup or character development, he’s plopped whereever Vince wants to see him.

And what does he do to make a big mark on the night? This Samoan Shitlord ELIMINATES THE UNDERTAKER, THE DEADMAN, BIG EVIL, THE GOAT. We now have set up for Roman Reigns vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Kill me.

Im to the point of giving up on the company. TNA and New Japan puts out more entertaining product than WWE has in years.

Im still gonna watch Mania, maybe they’ll restore some faith…..

Anthem Rant

I live under a rock with about everything. I just got the game Anthem a few days ago and I absolutely adore it. Why? Because it's literally a combination of two of my favorite games: Dragon Age and Destiny. It even fucking has Dragon Age references in it. So I dont understand why all y'all are dissing it with this "Bioware destiny knockoff" bullshit.

I badly fucking want dragon age 4 to come out but I ALSO DO NOT want them rushing and potentially ruining my ALL TIME FAVORITE GAME SERIES to appease the mass.

With the amount of time we have to wait for Dragon Age 4 to be released (assuming EA doesn't cuck us) I truly don't understand why any dragon age fan would NOT play this game. If you don't like online or futuristic games, I get that completely. But if you like Mass Effect, Destiny, and Dragon Age then you must be missing something with Anthem.

So what you can't romance any of the characters YET. ((Owen, I'm looking at you bb. (Yes, I know something bad happens to him but idk what it is yet cause I havent finished the game but I STILL HAVE HOPE)) So what if the dialogue or face creation isn't extensive. It's not like you have the ability to go third person outside of the javelin, go up against a wall with light and stare at how beautiful your characters face is. It's not like destiny ever gave you speech options in the first place AND compared to destiny, the story and character interaction is SO MUCH MORE IMMERSIVE (not beating down destiny. Love that shit. I'm just expressing how I believe anthem does things better).

Not to mention the gameplay is fan-fucking-tastic. Hello. Yes, I love flying around in an iron man inspired suit killing monsters. That's my dream until DA4 comes out, thank you. PLUS You dont have to start the game over four times with new characters to try out new classes cause the classes are FUCKING SUITS. ITS AMAZING. getting tired of this fighting style? Eh, it's cool. Just wait a bit and level up to unlock a new one.

And really, the game isnt all that hard to play by yourself. I've been playing it on hard this entire time and the majority of the time, I'm alone. It's a little difficult but i mean c'mon. I love you dragon age but... the gameplay is weak as shit. "Oh I'll just hold down this trigger button, watch my character attack the same spot until the same three or four spells/attacks I use cool down. Good job Dorian. You know what guys? You got this, I'll go drink a latte."

Maybe I'm just fantastic at playing videogames who knows. I dont see why people think they need other people to play the game (aside for the raid type missions I'm assuming I'll eventually unlock).

But uhh.... that about covers it.

TL;DR

DON'T HATE ON ANTHEM AND RUSH THE MAKERS OF BIOWARE TO RELEASE DRAGON AGE. ANTHEM IS A GOOD FUCKING APPETIZER WHILE YOU WAIT WITH FREE DLCs AND I DONT WANT BIOWARE FUCKING UP DA4 BECAUSE THEY RUSHING SHIT. LAST TIME THEY RUSHED SHIT THEY MADE CULLEN STRAIGHT AND NOT BISEXUAL
