Day in the Life of the Nakajima Household
Aka Atsushi’s tiny dorm at the ADA that he is forced to share with 3 murderous individuals.
Tickle fic!! Lee!Atsushi, Lers!Lucy, Kyouka, and Akutagawa + a little Ler!Atsushi, Lee!Lucy (romantic Akuatsulucy and platonic Kyouka addition)
It’s the orphan poly + fellow orphan Kyouka!!!! ❤️🤍🖤💙 I wrote this a while ago so it’s all in present tense LOL. When I first had the idea, I was hesitant, but then I started actually watching the BSD anime and got to know all their characters better so here it is!! They make me SO EMOTIONAL
Also bonus mini HCs at the end!!!!!!!!!
(Ignore the cringey ahh emoticons LMAO it’s just that all of them are so creature-coded)
ᓚᘏᗢ ♡ ≽^•⩊•^≼ ♡ ૮(˶• ༝ •˶)ა ♡ /ᐠ •̀ ˕ •́ マ ♡ ՞ↀ - ↀ՞
Atsushi’s dorm at the Agency is certainly not made to house four people. It’s hardly big enough for two. Kunikida looks one noise complaint away from bursting a vein in his forehead, but, well, nothing has ever gone to plan as long as Atsushi’s involved.
Despite their statuses as Port Mafia operative and former Guild disciple, Lucy and Akutagawa come over so often that Atsushi’s colleagues hardly bat an eye. The two have even taken to calling it “their place,” which Atsushi thinks is kinda unfair — both for his living situation and his heart.
It’s a peaceful kind of day today. Kyouka’s inside journaling, Aku’s at the store — because he has the most stable paycheck — getting groceries, and Atsushi and Lucy are outside, watering the plants around the building.
“Someday you should get us a garden,” Lucy says while she sprinkles water over the tiny blossoming daisies. “So we can take care of our own plants instead of these ugly trees.”
Atsushi sends her a playful glare from where he’s watering said trees with a hose, smiling. “Do I have to do everything in this relationship? My pockets are crying thanks to you guys.”
Lucy scoffs. “Shut up, you! I give you discounts at the cafe all the time. I put my life on the line for you.” She tosses her hair and places a hand on her chest, and Atsushi holds back a laugh.
Maybe it’s his apprenticeship under Dazai, but Atsushi feels a bit mischievous today. In a move that he’ll probably regret later, he lifts the hose and rains fire over his life partner.
Gasping and spluttering, Lucy throws up her hands to block the spray. Her sundress soaks through and her braids quickly start to droop. She turns a murderous gaze on Atsushi through dark, sticky bangs, and he feels sweat run down his back.
“Atsushi Nakajima, you’re dead!” He spots a certain intensity in Lucy’s turquoise eyes.
Uh oh. He knows what that means.
Atsushi yelps and drops the hose, not even bothering to switch it off before he sprints. He employs his tiger strength, probably cheating, but Lucy could easily drag him away from reality and into Anne’s Room if she wants. Noticeably, she doesn’t, probably to drag out the anticipation. But she will have him. Atsushi is sure.
He races into the building and up the stairs. He doesn’t trust the elevator, but he has hope of escape if he continues on foot. In a blur, he spots his apartment number and pushes through the door, thankfully unlocked. Atsushi lunges for the closet, throws open the door and slams it shut behind him. He’s been on so many stealth missions; Atsushi knows how to be quiet. But he’s giddy from the chase and can barely restrain the frantic giggling he breathes out.
“Where are you, my cute little kitty? Come out, let’s play~!” He hears with his heightened senses. A shiver runs up his spine even while his face feels like an oven. He needs to remember that Lucy worked for the Guild, and their first meeting was a gamble for his and his coworkers’ lives. “Isn’t this a fun game! But you can’t hide forever.”
He really can’t, because there’s only so many places he can hide in his tiny apartment. He wonders what his chances are of getting out the closet and jumping through the window without Lucy noticing.
Just as he thinks this, though, the door flies open.
“Found you!” A grin full of metal shines through the darkness, and Atsushi screams. He tries to leap past her, but the wind is knocked out of his lungs as she tackles him onto his futon. Where did she get this strength from? Yet he doesn’t match her force with his own, mostly because, now that he’s caught, he’s found he doesn’t want to be free.
“Such a bad kitty,” she pulls him onto her lap with her elbows under his arms, and Atsushi feels her wet clothes press against his back. His ears are already pounding, hot. “I’ll show you what happens when you go up against Lucy Maud Montgomery!”
Suddenly there are fingers pressing into his sides. Atsushi yells out a panicked laugh. “A- Ahahaha! Luhuhucyhehehe I’m sorryhehehe!”
She huffs. “Well, you should’ve thought about that before you drenched me!”
This is just the consequences of his actions, isn’t it? Her nails tease under his shirt and he throws his head back. “Stahahahap! Stop Ihi yeheheheild! Lucyehehehe!”
She toes the line between unbearable and gentle. The feeling runs through Atsushi’s every nerve, frying his brain until he can’t do anything but kick and flail around on his sheets. Lucy holds him firmly, a satisfied smile on her face that he can’t see.
She is doing this for revenge, but gosh is Atsushi cute. His cheeks are full and red, his fangs peeking out from under his lip. His giggles are nervous and flighty but ingenuous, the purest kind of happiness. Warmth runs through her face without permission; she really wishes she didn’t have such an embarrassing ailment.
When Lucy digs her fingers into his ribs and Atsushi squeals loud enough to echo off the walls, Kyouka pokes her head in from the other room.
“Oh, are we getting Atsushi?” she asks with a small blink. Lucy grins and Atsushi pleads.
“Ky- Kyouka plehehease! Hehehelp! I’m gonnahahaha dahahahie!”
“We are indeed, Kyouka! And he deserves it. I’m sure he would love if you assisted me.”
Kyouka’s expression doesn’t change, but her eyes twinkle. She strides over and seats herself on top of Atsushi’s legs. He cracks open his eyes to give his little sister a look of betrayal.
“Kyouka! Youhaha’re supposed to help mehehehe!”
“No thanks,” she says blankly, before drilling into his hips with an assassin’s precision.
“KYOUHOHOKAHAHAHA!” Even Lucy is a little terrified by the focus in Kyouka’s eyes, as if she were performing a surgery. But mostly she’s just pleased. She takes her hands off Atsushi’s ribs to clap, then repositions them in his underarms.
“YOUHOUHAHA GUHUhuys are soho MEHEHEHEAN!”
“This is discipline,” Kyouka states very seriously, and Lucy too laughs at that. Kyouka reaches forward and pokes Atsushi’s cheek. “You’re so squishy. Like a bunny. Squish.”
Atsushi turns pink; Lucy really wishes that didn’t make her flustered. “He is, isn’t he?” She pokes his other cheek. “Just as a tabby cat should be.”
Then Lucy worms her fingers into his neck and he scrunches up. “EHEHEHEE nohohoHO!”
While Lucy’s methods are soft in an evil way, Kyouka attacks with honed, concentrated energy, deadly in her efficiency. And with both of them on opposite ends of his body, Atsushi has no room left for thought.
And then the front door shuts with a bang.
Perhaps Akutagawa is too aggressive with his actions, and he squints apologetically at the door he slammed. Setting down the grocery bags on the counter, he winces at the ruckus in the apartment. Is that the Jinko’s screaming?
He walks into the main room to find what he’d expected to see: Atsushi pinned to the floor with Kyouka and Lucy dissecting him.
“This is just like you, Jinko,” he scoffs with a note of fondness, squatting beside the squirming, laughing Atsushi. “You’re not even fighting back.”
“RYUHUHAHA dohohon’t!” Atsushi shakes his head, his face a deep pink and his eyes crinkled shut. His smile is just as blinding as the light of the sun. Gross, Akutagawa thinks with a mini smile.
“Akutagawa.” Kyouka turns to him with that river-like gaze, clear but acute. “Join us.” Lucy cackles.
He smirks. “If that is what I must do.”
Though she calls out to Ryuunosuke now, Kyouka hasn’t forgotten how his words kept dragging her down as she swam desperately toward the light. But then he said he was proud of her. Plus, well, he’s involved with Atsushi. Kyouka’s grown to trust him, at least as long as Atsushi’s around. The same goes for Lucy, who Kyouka resented at first for endangering Atsushi, and for her harsh personality that pushes everyone away. That was before though, before she learned that Lucy is genuinely kind, only a girl at heart, and she’s really fun to talk to, and hug, and go shopping for plushies and clothes and crêpes with.
Kyouka would defend Atsushi’s happiness with the blade of a katana and the might of a demon. Because he’s the one who saved her, because he’s her older brother. He has a way of bringing out the light in those with the blackest of blood. Though he’s made many enemies, he has twice as many friends, Lucy and Aku included. She’s never been more sure that they care for Atsushi than now, engaging in something so purely affectionate. That’s why Kyouka pitches in, because her heart is full to the limit.
Speaking of which, Atsushi seems to be reaching his limit.
“RYUHAHAHAHA! LUHUCYEHEAHAHAE! KYOUHAHAKAHAHA! STAHAHAHAHAP!”
Akutagawa is rough and awkward as he claws at the center of Atsushi’s abdomen. Even Rashoumon is crawling up and down his sides. Still sitting on his legs, Kyouka is moments away from flying off, and it’s only through sheer determination that she remains in place. Lucy has slowed her assault out of pity (because she is soft for this man and terrible at hiding it), slowly dragging her fingers across Atsushi’s jaw. Kyouka copies her: Akutagawa really is ruthless. Atsushi’s floundering and screaming is amusing though, and she can’t hold back the soft giggles escaping from her own chest. Though his laughter is desperate and embarrassed, it’s also bright and overwhelmed with love.
“You should learn to take this, weretiger. If you wish to help people, endurance and inspiration of the soul are necessary skills to have.”
Which is basically fancy talk for: Your joy could cure the world’s suffering and you should show it more often.
“LIHIHIHIKE you wouhAHALD KNOHOHOW! AHAHAHA wahahaHAIT!”
“How foolish of you to sass me in your position.”
Atsushi’s chest barely gets the chance to rise and fall before another laugh is forced out. He probably needs a breather. Lucy, despite being the one to start this, is also the first to end it.
“Now now, Aku. Give him a break. We were at this for a while before you came.”
Akutagawa hums, but he retracts his hand and his ability. Lucy and Kyouka let up, and Kyouka removes herself from Atsushi’s legs. Finally free, Atsushi collapses into Lucy’s lap with an inhale that could rival a tornado. He tries to regulate his breathing with giggles interrupting, and he buries his face against Lucy’s thigh, turning to his original assailant for comfort. Lucy blushes even redder than Atsushi himself had because his tiny exhausted closed-eye smile is the cutest thing she’s ever seen, but settles her hand on his back for a massage.
“You hahall… ahawful,” he titters. “Lucy, I’m sohorry for hosing you.”
Kyouka appears beside Lucy and pats Atsushi’s head. Lucy sighs as if she’d just been hit with the force of all the love in the world. “I suppose I can forgive you. I’m a little less soaked now, thanks for asking.”
“Sorry, sorry.” His chuckles turn to sleepy mumbles. “That’s good, though. I’m glad.”
“Quit apologizing.” Lucy covers her face with her equally red hair and turns away. “You’re such a sap.”
“Far too soft,” Akutagawa adds, leaning down to press a kiss to Atsushi’s upright cheek. Kyouka moves her hand so Lucy can kiss the cat’s head too, instead throwing her legs over him and leaning on Lucy’s shoulder. Akutagawa is a clumsy distance from the cuddle pile, hunched over Atsushi, so the tiger throws an arm around his other life partner’s shoulders and drags him down to rest on his back, maneuvering himself so he’s on his stomach, chin on Lucy’s lap. She runs her fingers through choppy white hair and shifts one leg to lay on Akutagawa’s arm and establish a point of contact with everyone. She laughs quietly as she looks over their entangled position, like some kind of Tetris puzzle.
And then she starts laughing for a very different reason.
“ATSUSHIHIHEHEHEE!”
Kyouka flinches as Lucy’s shoulder jolts her off and blinks rapidly. Then she catches sight of Lucy’s hysterical expression and wide open mouth, someone’s fingers scribbling up her sides, and understands. Screeching, Lucy kicks and shoves at the boy in her lap, the culprit, and realizes that with all the bodies piled on top of her, there is no escape.
Atsushi, the ever perseverant hero he is, grins up at her with teeth white as an angel but pointy as a beast. “Revenge.”
And this is what happens when you go up against Nakajima Atsushi.

Ryu may have the most money but he has near-zero social capabilities. They all lack people skills actually, but Aku lost the last video game tournament. So he’s doing the grocery shopping.
Also they love each other <3
I don’t know why I got so emotional with Kyouka’s POV but it’s probably because I adore her to the ends of the earth. Two paragraphs of just Kyouka reflection bc I think she’s the type to start daydreaming in the middle of an attack.
Relationship HCs:
Atsushi and Lucy — like lonely little children in love, so desperately it hurts
Atsushi and Akutagawa — It’s Complicated™️ (it isn’t)
Akutagawa and Kyouka — it is actually complicated, but they’re getting there
Kyouka and Atsushi — the purest form of connection, siblings <3
Kyouka and Lucy — sisters who give each other the freedom to just be girls
Lucy and Akutagawa — from strangers to not so much so, united by their love for one special tiger (they’re still getting used to each other)
This is a long-ahh footnote I’m sorry

Dazai and the Meaning of Life
here's a little thing i cooked up recently about dazai's ultimate goal and how he views the meaning of life. i technically have more thoughts on this topic but i hope that this is at least sorta good anyway :3 this whole thing i tried to follow an essay formula and i tried to make it sound professional and under the impression that the viewer does not know much about bsd (bc we're going to do an essay unit at my school and i lowkey wanna show these to my teacher who doesnt know the series hehe)
also the conclusion of this post mentions that maybe the ada will come to understand dazai as well and btw i do think that the ada cares for and (partially) understands dazai when the story takes place just for clarifiation afsflfsfjk
neway lets get on with it!!
TW: Su1c1de mention (only briefly)
it'll be under the cut :] pls enjoy
Among the many intricate characters of Bungo Stray Dogs is Osamu Dazai. Sharing many similarities with his namesake, the real-life Osamu Dazai, he is heavily philosophical in his contemplation of the value of an ongoing existence. The Dazai of Bungo Stray Dogs is very dear to me, and so I wanted to detail his relationship with the meaning of life.
Dazai has sought the meaning of life since the age of 14, or even younger. He is a hyper-intelligent character and sees the world far differently than those around him, who fail to see the full picture in the same way that Dazai does. Dazai is immensely analytical and calculating, often crafting intricate plans to entrap his foes, further proving his intelligence. Although most people live their lives aware of death, Dazai understands its presence in a way that many others fail to. He understands that everyone dies someday, and in that inevitable state, none of the material things matter. Friends will leave somehow, money has no value in the afterlife, and intelligence means nothing once you’re dead. And because everything will die someday, living is just a pointless game of arbitrary constructs. So why live in a world like that? It’s pointless.
Due to Dazai’s immense intelligence, the intricacies of his philosophy slip away from even me. However, I know for certain that Dazai has spent much of his time reflecting and polishing his worldview to the point that it’s iron-clad. Nothing escapes him, and he capitalizes on this to create a set of concepts that none can reasonably argue. But… Why?
It’s likely that Dazai finds comfort in his own mental health issues; he’s lived with them since he was a child and, when he is in the Port Mafia, it protects him from the grim criminal world that his teenage self is being forced to live in. If he continues to seek a goal even if he knows he won’t achieve it, it makes living in a pit of carnage and demons far easier. (That, and Dazai has a habit of letting his emotions override his brain when something is too hard for him to face, which is often, because Dazai has hardly ever had anyone that can help him mature emotionally.)
Speaking of Dazai’s goal that he partially had given up on, let’s cover that. Dazai is well aware of his alienation from the rest of society due to his intelligence and knows that others can easily find meaning in living. And so he wishes to study them. The fact of the matter is that Dazai generally values human life, but he doesn’t consider his own life to be that of a human being’s because he operates far differently from those around him. People wander and find meaning in life and regret things and experience things and Dazai believes that that is what it means to be human and that is what it means to live.
Dazai seems to believe that humans have a vicious, violent true self that exists in order to help them survive. He joins the mafia because he believes that those in the criminal underworld are stripped of societal constructs and so are their true selves. (Dazai also joins the mafia because he believes that by observing immense amounts of death up close, he will be able to get a more ‘full’ picture of what it means to live, which contributes to his goal of finding the meaning of life.) He believes that if he studies how humans live and why they want to live so easily, practically by nature, he will be able to ‘become human’ and wish to live as well.
Dazai believes that the meaning in life hides in the nature of human beings. Dazai wishes to understand humans so that he can understand life. Dazai thinks that his own life is pointless, that he will suffer for eternity, never understanding why others wish to live and never finding something worthwhile. Everything passes, including that which Dazai loves, and so he tries to cease living and cease loving. But he fails, because Dazai is not inclined to evil. He is a blank slate, but one who loves by nature and denies harsh truths and doesn’t want to be alone.
Dazai hates his differences with others and idolizes humans. He doesn’t want to hurt or kill others, because they wish to live, and that is what he wants for himself. That is what he admires. (Dazai also admires those who choose to be good despite being human, which Dazai believes is indicative of intrinsic cruelty, and he, again, believes himself to be incapable of being ‘good’.)
Dazai has lived in a far emptier world than others for ages. Yet he is lonely. Still, he is but a child who has never been able to grow up but had never been allowed to be young. He’s existed in limbo for ages. After a year in the mafia, he’s given up. He’s concluded that he will not find anything in the mafia and possibly nowhere else. So he doesn’t even intend to leave the cesspool of systemic abuse that has broken his childhood self so horribly that he cannot face the sun nor the stars.
But someone proves him wrong. A person who is a friend to Dazai that understands him so heavily and simply fails to find the words to convince him to keep trying. In that person’s final moments, he tells Dazai to leave the side of darkness and become a good person.
Dazai will not find a reason that satisfies him; that’s just how he is. But if he works to be good, he will become that, and his life will light up with meaning because saving people, the same people that Dazai has never understood yet wished he could because he thought they were remarkable in their ability to find meaning in life, is beautiful.
Even as a 22-year old who has left the Port Mafia, having defected to the Armed Detective Agency, Dazai has still failed to find the meaning of life that is the existential answer he so seeks. However, there exists something far more fulfilling than anything else in saving people and revelling in the small things. All while drinking tea at a cafe and pestering his coworkers, Dazai carries with him a melancholy so intense that others are often kept at arm’s length, and yet he is happy. Because perhaps his whole life will be a search, but things far more beautiful than any answer exist on the way.
And perhaps his coworkers, no, his friends, will be able to reach Dazai as well.

Sorry about the Eleanor plush not getting enough support. I had ordered one for my brother, who really loves your game, and he's pretty bummed. Regardless, I hope other attempts for merch are able to pull through. Know I'll be the first in line when they drop
it's alright! the console port in general really didn't go the way i hoped, but you gotta take everything as a learning opportunity. i DEFINITELY know what NOT to do in the future heh...
i don't foresee that there will be much more to do with subway midnight in the future, unless someday i decide to do a sequel or a comic or something. which is SOMEWHAT likely, but don't hold your breath. i've got lots of cool project ideas and i can't wait to finally start showing off my next game...

June 12th, 2023 - Etrian Odyssey HD
I missed this series so it was good to see it back, even if it was just through rereleases of older games. They aren't based on the 3DS remakes, but the original DS versions instead. At first, I was a little disappointed, but not anymore. The DS and 3DS ones can kinda be counted as separate games because of different map designs. So far, I've just done the first of the HD remasters. It's the same game, but with a few quality of life features and updated to only use one screen.
The touch screen was a big part of these games so we all wondered how it would work, and while it doesn't feel as nice as a DS/3DS touch screen, it works. It's definitely comfortable enough and I'm okay with them continuing the series like this. I do wish there were a few more of the quality of life improvements from Untold though: like floor jump (would be REALLY useful due to how shortcuts are placed), actually being able to see pits and shortcuts, have warnings for 1 way shortcuts, and the Untold soundtrack.
A few annoying things, but they didn't ruin my enjoyment. It's still Etrian Odyssey and I'm hoping we'll get more in this style. Looking forward to what they do with VI and wanting to get IV, V, and Nexus in the Origins Collection style. Who knows? Maybe we can get the Untold games ported someday too (even get one made for 3)? Not really much else to say. Solid Etrian Odyssey game, but it's a bit rough in some areas.

some info first// HELLO.
What do i even say, I replayed Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair and my brain went ballistic
Um 🧍🏽
this is going to be a VERY long post but I hope anyhow enjoyable for you. For context, I was into Danganronpa a lot, when I decided to actually post my art in the internet! It kinda. Launched me into having more followers. Then it sort of melted, the interest, so I stopped and suddenly it hit me again, two years later!!! So. I decided to do something bigger and wrote a prologue of a fanfic!! I don’t know about the frequency of posting it or anything, for now it is what it is.
It will be called “Taken good care of.” and will be komahina centred:) sorry, I know this ship is kinda overrated and over popular, cliché if you may, but I really like it :(
I won’t tell you too much for now, you’ll see how the prologue goes. What I absolutely have to say is that. English is not my first language and I think it shows real bad?? My grammar sucks and I do write poorly, when it comes to verbs n such. I hope it won’t make your eyes bleed, cause frankly, I just wanna share this!! I used to write a lot for myself usually, but I never actually shared those works anywhere. Not in English at least :)
Okay so having that said, I think I’m gonna jump straight into posting this! Gonna mention straight away and I’ll also put the tags about those warnings: post game spoilers, cancer, ed. If I find anything else or if I forgot anything, I’ll put all my efforts to fill it up immediately! So yeah, enjoy!! 🥰
oh yeah and I made little illustrations along the story! ☺️
{Prologue}Taken good care of.
Upon finding out about the state of the world we were stuck in, there was no other way for us, rather than go back to the island. Given what we have done, we’d rather contain each other, rather than it being done by anyone else. Maybe someday we will- no. Maybe someday the world will be ready to welcome us back again. For now, we could celebrate on our own. Because… After all, we had a reason to, right?
Without having motives and deadly… bear robots constantly giving us reasons to doubt each other, we were all less scared to live on the empty Jabberwock. Although we knew we had a lot of adjusting to do. Unlike the simulation, the islands had no bridges! That meant learning how to travel via motorboats, which Kazuichi managed to put together for us. Except a couple of times my motorboat whipped out (with me onboard), it was easy to learn and before realising it, we began to race each other at bay.
We already knew the power we held as a group. These people became my family quicker than I thought, even if I was never their classmate to begin with. About that…
It was weird to “make amends” with Izuru. It’s not like we fought for who gets to stay; it was more like… just being at peace with myself. Izuru became part of me, peacefully. It felt natural, but still… It was bizarre at some point. Suddenly I was Ultimate… everything! Though no one intended to call me this. Hell, neither did I. Ultimate Hope sounded powerful enough. But suddenly, I was able to help Kazuichi with those boats, when I have never handled a wrench properly before. I managed to guide him, Fuyuhiko, Akane and Sonia to help me wake the others. It would literally take YEARS and at least three ultimates to come up with the emergency plan and learn to execute it properly. Like- surely some Ultimate Neurologist? Analyst? Programmer? I couldn’t get used to the fact that I alone was able to do what these people would have to work over, for a very long time.
Well… I guess it’s the result that counts. When we successfully woke up TeruTeru and Byakuya, Kazuichi called me Ultimate Jesus… I didn’t know if I was more offended or amused by this silly nickname.
Anyhow, our new life on islands started after arriving at Jabberwock. We parked the yacht in the port and left it until it was safe to go back. If ever. For now, it was island time.
We had to do a little cleaning here and there. Improving the environment would surely improve our wellbeing! At least that’s what I thought. Within just a month, the paths on islands were clean again and flowers and trees were in bloom. Sky seemed… a little bluer. As some say, nature was healing. Next step was taking care of the buildings. Some of them looked like they’re rotting; that had to be fixed quickly. Of course a building can’t rot, but you get what I mean.
Sonia took good care of library restoration along with a few helpers and before we knew it, our islands gained a cozy hangout and chill area. It worked the same way with everything else.
Tumblr media
‘Honestly, if you wanted, you could fix everything in like, two days dude!’ Kazuichi commented, when I walked him to the electric avenue. I smirked lightly, shaking his head.
‘And that’s exactly why I’m allowing you guys to do it.’
‘That’s some Usami-kinda-shit. You want us to cooperate to tighten our friendships or something?’ My friend continued to joke around, full of life.
‘You could say that! Besides, you were stuck in the capsules for a dangerous amount of time. It’s necessary to shake up your muscles and wake them up a little.’ I shrugged with a simple explanation. Though my words seemed to fly over Kazuichi’s head a little. He began to mumble that it’s weird how muscles have to be stimulated, how bodybuilders’ muscles don’t disappear once built…
‘Well- how do you spend the days anyway??? You were sleeping too!’ He blurted out suddenly, which made me jump a little. Afterwards, I smiled at him.
‘You can call me Ultimate Supervisor for the moment.’ I let out a soft giggle. Kazuichi let out a quiet screech, messing up his cap and hair with his hands as he ruffled himself.
‘I can’t with you man!! I will NEVER get used to this shit.’ He whined at me but quickly shook it off, seeing Mahiru waving to him from a distance; after waving back at her, he turned to me, fixing his attire.
‘Let me guess. That’s where we part ways.’
‘I was gonna say that! Goddamn you, Hajime… yes. That’s where we part ways. There’s a lot of electronics to clean and repair in those stores.’ Kazuichi hummed, glaring at the avenue.
‘I won’t be stopping you… just be careful with the wires.’ I said calmly, waving as my friend was skipping steps to Mahiru and shouting to me, that we will see each other at lunch.
I breathed in and out deeply, turning around and beginning my everyday morning walk. I had to make sure everyone’s efforts were fruitful. That’s how almost every day looked like, for me and.. it started to get very boring. Ever since we woke up, I noticed I’m easily bored. That probably connects to Izuru. I remember brief images from his perspective and his feelings accompanying them; sometimes they creep me in the night. Izuru was bored by everything, because he knew everything. I often wonder, if his brain worked to the fullest? If we’re told we only use 10% of ours…
‘HEY!! Watch it!!’ I heard as my ears perked up immediately, pulling my head up. There were moments when something unexpected happened and my brain could calmly feed on it. This was one of those moments. The noises and raised voices came from the hospital’s side!
I rushed there quickly, worried, what could’ve happened, seeing a scene unfold before my eyes. Akane was pulling up a whole table from Nagito who seemed to be stuck under it. Obviously, the bright smile never disappeared from his face.
Tumblr media
‘You’re such a dumbass- I told you all to not touch those tables!’ Akane kept screaming, while Mikan gently pulled Nagito out.
‘My my, I became a burden once again..!’
‘All it took was leaving the biggest table to me, that’s what I was saying from the beginning!’
‘I wonder what biiig luck awaits me after this enormous table falling on me-‘
‘SHUT THE HELL UP!!’
I saw that Akane was ready to throw hands, so I decided to intervene before Nagito’s spine actually breaks.
‘What’s happening? Is everyone okay?’ I asked, interrupting. All three heads turned to me with mixed expressions and eventually, the whole trio smiled at me. Could it be, I also possess the skill of Ultimate Peacemaker? Or maybe… Ultimate Happiness?
…sometimes I feel like I’m going too far.
‘It is now! Nagito could use more hearing sometimes though.’ Akane explained, rubbing the back of her head. Mikan agreed with her, making a small and rather shy nod.
‘T-True.. we were cleaning up t-the on-call room. In-In case we’d need more rooms. Akane told us she will pick up the table that- blocked the majority of the room.’ She added, allowing Akane to continue.
‘And then we saw Nagito carrying it out purely on his own! It’s like 6 times heavier than him! When I pointed it out to him, he lost his balance and collapsed with the table falling right on him!!’
‘It-It’s a miracle his spine is- is whole!’ The girls talked over each other, while Nagito stood on the side calmly, swaying from side to side.
‘Uhm, I don’t recall that… at all. Oh well; it is what it is! I only blame myself, Akane, don’t worry.’ He let out a soft laugh, to which Akane reacted… much.
‘Uh- Duh!? I blame you too!!’ She bounced aggressively at him. I reached out my hands, trying to chill her down.
‘Okay, okay- let’s not fight. Nagito is in one piece, thankfully. Next time he’s going to listen to you more. Is that correct, Nagito?’ I asked, squinting at him. Mr. Happy-go-Lucky nodded a couple of times, rubbing his cheek awkwardly.
‘I will listen to you with every muscle in my ears.’ He promised, putting his hands together. The conflict seemed to have been solved. I was about to walk off, seeing how Akane and Nagito got back to cleaning, before someone stopped me.
‘H-Hajime!-‘ I turned around, only to face Mikan. As usual, she seemed awfully unnerved. Or paranoid.
‘Yes? Can I help you?’ I asked softly, to which the girl looked around, fidgeting with her hands.
‘I… I really would hate to bother you- and I don’t want to at all- so if you’re, by any chance, busy, I will refrain of course-‘
‘I’m completely free, please go on.’ I insisted very calmly. Mikan simply nodded with a nervous matter, swallowing quickly and glared around.
‘Um… is it okay if we… uhm… it’s… complicated…’ she whispered, getting all mixed up, seemingly. I looked at her calmly, before understanding. She wanted to talk in private with me.
‘Hmm.. if it’s this kind of matter, maybe we could go to the café on the second island? Does that sound good?’ I proposed, and Mikan agreed happily and relieved she didn’t have to ask that herself. We waved our goodbyes to Akane and Nagito before finally departing.
When in the empty café, I decided to put my talents in use again and started preparing us coffee, using a professional coffee machine. Calm music was playing from the speakers, while I got tickled by the steam clouds that left the machine, when I foamed up the milk, humming. Mikan watched me carefully; I thought to myself she enjoyed it a lot.
‘Not to flex, but it’s like, the first time I’m making coffee like that.’ I smirked, trying to engage Mikan to talk. The girl tilted her head and smiled awkwardly, eventually giggling quietly.
‘Gosh… it’s… unbelievable. That you have all those talents. It must be such a burden on your shoulders..’ she blurted out, still watching my hands.
‘Burden… I guess. It doesn’t feel that heavy, actually. I’m just bored a lot; my brain doesn’t have too much to chew on.’ I denied softly, placing the cups on their respective plates and carried the coffee to the table.
‘Did you know that 12 cups of coffee with- well- regular dose of caffeine- is most definitely a- a deadly dose?’ To my pleasant surprise, Mikan said something on her own, as she sat down at the table with me. It was a good feeling to see her self-esteem improve. I smiled at the coffee funfact she told me. I knew, obviously, but after all… I’m a well-mannered man.
Tumblr media
‘Is that so? That's curious. I can’t imagine drinking this much coffee at once.’ I answered calmly, raising a cup to my lips to take a sip. Mikan did the same thing, letting out a bright hum.
‘I don’t… I don’t really drink coffee. I have a very- very fast b-blood pressure anyway.. though when you’re around, t-the whole world seems to slow down.’ She admitted happily. I took that as a compliment… My friends told me that often. Again, it probably had to do with one of the talents. ‘Nagito is right w-when he refers to y-you as.. as Ultimate Serenity. And.. speaking of Nagito.. I… I wanted to talk about him.’
My happy little sips stopped as soon as Mikan mentioned that Nagito is part of this matter. Hell, maybe even not only the part. Maybe he is the main subject. Or the cause…? I raised my eyes to look at Mikan’s face, setting down my coffee cup and blinking slowly.
‘…alright. Feel free to tell me everything I need to know.’ I spoke gently. I had to do absolutely everything for Mikan to feel comfortable enough to talk… who knows how serious the issue was.
Mikan meanwhile, took another small sip of coffee and put away the cup, setting her hands together, right on her lap, before speaking up.
‘I-I reckon… you- you were.. you seemed close to him…? A-Anyhow… I… I can’t help but- to feel… t-to be concerned about Nagito! H.. His health.’ Mikan explained roughly, gesturing a lot. I listened to what she had to say, tilting my head. At first, I thought Mikan was telling me that Nagito caught a cold or something… until I remembered what happened, when we were in a coma.
‘Right… I talked to Nagito in the simulation. He told me about being diagnosed with.. f.. frontotemporal dementia and lymphoma. But then he backed out and said it was just a lie. I’m not sure if these were lies or no, but that’s what I can tell you. It slipped my mind completely, but since you’re a nurse, you must’ve noticed something. Could you tell me more?’ I asked in a worried tone. Of course I was worried about Nagito… he used to say weird stuff after waking up, but since he was no longer planning any murders, he became more tolerable.
Mikan bit her lower lip, looking away.
‘O-Oh my… I… I had no idea… e-even though I suspected something- no healthy human… could produce white hair… n-not in his age at least! O-Of course old people- and- genetics mess it up sometimes b-but… his hair s-seems to have had a normal c-colour before.’
‘Yup, they’re sort of… light pink mixed with light brown on ends…’
‘B-Besides… that table situation. Um… F-Fuyuhiko… was able to lift that table up with ease, a few days prior. And- he is definitely weaker… than Nagito. L-lighter too… Nagito should be able to c-carry it out with ease.. m-meanwhile he.. was sweating profusely. As if he was… very laboured from lifting it.’
Hm.. that was new. I remembered Nagito having a lot of energy and strength. But… These memories were from the program again. Not only our avatars were our younger selves; it was all just a simulation and played in our minds and a fake environment.
‘H-Hajime…? I… I hate to bother you with this, b-but- if you could.. take a look at Nagito for me? I- I just- I need to confirm my worries!- O-Only if you- you don’t have to of course!-‘ Mikan got nervous again, stomping her feet against the floor. I coughed quietly, sitting up straight and smiled at Mikan calmly.
‘Calm down, please. Of course I will check him out. You did well, informing me about it, thank you.’ I answered her, making sure she was praised generously. Truthfully, her observations were absolutely crucial. I was so focused with all matters regarding islands and their restoration after The Tragedy, that I forgot about checking up on my friends. And if one of them was in danger… I had to ensure their safety.
When the Sun finally settled, I decided to go for a small, not at all suspicious walk on the beach. I was originally heading to my motorboat though. In our simulation, the second island contained some sort of ancient ruins, overgrown by plants and when we left, the building looked similar to the ruins - but modern. At the moment, we use it as our archive, not only collecting the past, but also preserving the current times. For the future.
The goal of my visit to the archive was obvious! I had to collect Nagito’s documents. Especially medical record, for Mikan to go through. I could read it too obviously, but truth be told… I wanted them all to still feel useful and needed, even in my presence. I thought it was the obvious reason why I allowed them all to work on their own and I hoped it was appreciated by them. At least a little.
I hopped on the motorboat and swam away from the main island. Eventually I looked behind to notice dim lights of the cottages in the hotel. Eventually, most of them went out, meaning everyone went to sleep. I couldn’t help but smile at that. That… had to be the peace we all dreamed of.
Tumblr media
‘We’ve made it. I’m so sorry you can’t see it.’ I whispered, raising my head to stare at the night sky, filled with sparkling stars. Chiaki… I missed her deeply. Her death made everyone fall in complete despair and even Izuru himself cried over her body. And it hurt my heart that she couldn’t be there to experience the peace we all achieved. She would probably… chill on the beach or dig herself in the blankets Sonia put in the library to cozy it up. Hm… I can’t be right. She does see that all. I bet she’s sitting in the stars. She smiles at every act of kindness, laughs at every little argument… She's okay.
I shook my head gently, remembering my original task and pressed gas, starting to swim through the bay again. I couldn’t help those short episodes I had… When it’s so quiet at night, brain thinks more than usual.
Eventually I made it to the archive and picked up the documents. When I stood there in complete darkness, with one flashlight in my hand, I smiled to myself, continuing to think how much I actually changed.
‘See, thanks to you, I know it’s illogical for something to stand behind me in the darkness..’ I hummed to myself. Well, partly to myself, partly to Izuru. I used to be horribly paranoid in darkness, but now? Whenever I thought of something that scared me… my Ultimate Logic activates and fear goes away, like that! Unbelievable.
I guess I had to call it a day. That, I thought to myself when I was on my way back. Noticing all the lights went out in the hotel, I knew I had to be very quiet when going back to my cottage…
I peeked at Nagito’s documents, starting to wonder if that was even legal to do? I took the private records… no. Nagito might’ve been in danger and I couldn’t allow anything bad to happen to him. That’s what I promised to Chiaki. And myself, after we woke everyone up. That I will protect them with all my power..
I wondered if something such as Ultimate Leader existed on the list of talents I possess, because… I sure felt like one.

Annon-Guy: Do you think BlazBlue will be okay since Mori retired from ASW? P.S. Why did Mori leave Arc? He sounded sad, yet thankful all the same in his retirement letter.
While the explicit full reasons are probably not going to be divulged, it probably has to do with the struggle he had developing the Mobile Game BBDW and its resources.
Now, before you say he ended his career over a Gacha Game… understand that it's not that simple.
ARC System Works gave him a ton of freedom to work on games he wanted to work on, so I'm sure it's not solely BlazBlue Dark War that is the issue here.
Mori already said he wants to release a game that will please everyone… and is asking for support in that endeavor despite his retirement.
But, he's been around at ASW for many years… since the early 2000s, so it makes sense he'd need more space and time to work on things.
If you've seen his concept illustrations for other projects, you'd know without a doubt he has a lot on his plate even now. I remember seeing one of his mecha designs, and was floored by how detailed it was.
Most likely, working at ASW would only get in the way of his project focus and workflow… so he's become more independent. And he's not the only developer to do something like that either.
And besides which, a fresh port of BlazBlue Crosstag Battle was announced for Xbox One... so it's not like BlazBlue content is done forever... they may even consult Mori in the future.
Ideally... I would even hope for Guilty Gear versus BlazBlue to someday become reality!

Silent Hill's back. Three games, not counting the SH2 Remake.
Words cannot describe how much I did not see this coming.
youtube
While I'm sad that it's PS5/Steam exclusive (can we hope for an Xbox port someday?), I'm cautiously happy about this. I desperately want this to be a good game... also, I'm delighted to see that Pyramid Head isn't some bulky beefcake but its build looks more in line with the original version -- I get why PH gets sexy fanart and shit, I was always more scared of PH than anything; manifestation of guilt and repressed sexuality and desire to be punished and possibly inspired by paintings/photos of executioners from the town's history and all that.
Also, Silent Hill F looks really cool and I dig this take on the series theme! Apparently the Higurashi guy is writing it, never got into the Higurashi scene but this looks like it has potential.

hope you don't mind random questions about your ocs, but I would love to hear how Rehma ended up getting adopted by Keepers?
No ohmygod I'm always happy to see OC questions! And I love any excuse to either share lore on Rehma that I already have, or flesh out the stuff that's currently still more broad-strokes.
For the record, the "irl” reason for her name is that I played the free trial as a Keeper, and when I upgraded to the full game, I used my free fantasia because I wanted to be bnuuy so bad. But I really liked Rehma’s name as-is, so as I started working out her backstory, I thought it might be fun if she had a strong reason to take her city name from Keeper naming schemes.
So! Rehma’s a Rava from Golmore, she left not long after reaching maturity out of restlessness and frustration with her isolated community. It was an impulsive and arguably naive move, but she was brought back down to earth pretty quickly by the state of imperially-annexed Dalmasca. She wandered to Valnain, loitered there scraping by for a while, and ultimately caught a smuggler’s ship to Eorzea. I assume she first arrived in Limsa, but was kinda tired of port cities by that point and headed inland to the Twelveswood (when she returns to Limsa again during ARR, she has a new appreciation for the fact that it’s very different from Valnain, i.e. not headquarters for an imperial legion).
At this point we’re about 10 years out from the start of ARR, Rehma’s in her early 20s (or whatever the Viera equivalent of that is, idk, wiki says they hit maturity at 13 which... alright if you say so lmao), she has no home and has stubbornly refused to take a city name yet because nothing’s clicked. And then near Gridania, she runs into an older Miqo’te woman named Pavo, who heads a family unit of Keepers and, at this point, has mostly adult children. Empty nester, meet adrift, functionally disowned young bnuuy. The rest is history.
I haven’t really gotten around to detailing every member of the Noyhiri family (maybe someday), but what I do know is:
A lot of them belong(ed) to various Gridanian guilds and/or the Order of the Twin Adder
Those who went to the Battle of Carteneau didn’t make it back, which hit Rehma very hard
Pavo is a genuinely good mom, and was the first to start coaxing Rehma out of her tendency to put up walls... unfortunately, the emotional aftermath of the Calamity brought that habit back in full force, to the point where, when Rehma resolved to go to Ul’dah and become a powerful Thaumaturge, she left with very little preamble or warning (and got a good scolding for it when the ARR story brought her back to Gridania)
Pavo is still alive and kicking as of 6.1(!!), and Rehma’s making a steadily-improving effort to stop by and see her more

uhhh i just bought a second gamecube lol
like. my gamecube is a dol-101 which means it doesn't have a digital out port (which means converting it to hdmi is always going to look like shit) and i've wanted to get it modded to add the port but that seems to be impossible at least for the time being (the kits have been sold out for so long and now the one site selling them seems to have taken down the listing. plus on top of that i'd have to have someone do it for me and idk where to go for that either) (from what i can tell getting a modchip added also seems trickier than on a dol-001?)
most of the advice ive seen for this situation is "just get rid of it and get a dol-001" which is uh. not the point. this is my childhood gamecube i want to keep using it. it's also a perfectly good console so it's annoying to see people so eager to just throw them aside
but i looked... and for just $100 i found a dol-001 that was already modded with picoboot (ipl replacement that makes the console boot into whatever you want) and they refurbished it (cleaned all the parts, recapped the motherboard which according to them will extend its life by 25 years). disk drive doesnt work but with picoboot that's kind of unimportant. seller seems to be pretty reliable too, they have almost exclusively good reviews going back to 2016
feels a little redundant to get a second gamecube, especially since i can technically already get a digital signal out of natively run gamecube games on my wii u and wii... it does add that to the game boy player though (also: with picoboot you can set a button to hold to automatically boot into the game boy interface, which btw is the homebrew replacement for the game boy player software that does a better job displaying the games apparently). also been thinking about getting a gba flashcart anyway (ez flash omega definitive edition) to add more to that
also my experience using nintendont on my wii u has been kind of awkward. you have to go all the way into wii mode and the homebrew channel and nintendont and then pick the game (sure, injects are a thing, but i've tried a few and they all black screen, and i've tried everything the devs of the inject program, uwuvci, say to do to make them work--and they also say for some people it just doesn't for some reason and nobody knows why). sometimes i get in there and it gets some kind of error and i have to start all the way over. meanwhile modded gamecube boots into swiss and you pick a game from there and that's it
the drawback is that since you're loading from an sd card (either in a memory card adapter or in a serial port 2 adapter, they're functionally the same) there's compatibility issues since it can't always read from there fast enough to run the game full speed. however there's also something called the M.2 loader coming that'll be able to load the data faster (from the ssd you attach to it). you plug it into serial port 1 (where the broadband adapter would go). but anyway if there are any games that don't run right booted from the sd i could probably just do them on the wii u or wii instead
anyway. my hope is that someday i'll be able to get my original gamecube modded (and then either sell this new one or give it away i suppose?), but it's good to have a backup
and it's not like gamecubes are going to get cheaper, probably, so getting that now is good i guess? like. that's a really good deal .a gamecube that's pre-modded and refurbished and apparently comes with an sd card? (the seller casually mentioned they could include some games if asked. the only way to run games on this one is through an sd card, so those would have to be iso files. on an sd card. if theyre giving me the card already then copying files doesnt cost them anything. so maybe there's a card in there). anyway yeah all that for $100. pretty good i think
well. maybe someday as they become more scarce people won't be so quick to abandon dol-101s and there'll be more resources for modding them

First / Last Line Game
Thanks for the tags, @daughter-of-inklings!! Combining these so that I don’t spam you with notifications as I do them-
First Lines
AT3:
“Life is like knitting…”
TCoA:
“Welcome to Rome! Tourist trap by day, magical city by night. Lost? You’ll fit right in.”
TLBTS:
“It was a dark and stormy night when the ship came into port.”
Last Lines
TSOP:
“I love you. Maybe you don’t see it yet, maybe you never will, but I hope you do someday. Because you mean the world to me. I don’t know how or why it happened, what drew me to you, but somehow we ended up here, under the stars in our pajamas with rings in our hands,” he murmured, “I would fight this war a thousand times over if it meant I get to stay with you for just a moment longer. You’ve seen the darkest parts of me, [Kei], and you didn’t run. Now, will you allow me to see you too? Now and forever? And, y’know, if you’re worried about scaring me off, at least right now I can’t run anyways. Injuries and all that.” I laughed, “[Ev], I wouldn’t— Yes. Yes, I’ll marry you, you big idiot, if that’s what you’re trying to ask.”
Leaving this open, since I’m not 100% sure who is still here and open to being tagged.

So I was doing some research for something I’m planning, and I realized how much I miss the DS.
Like looking back on it, that thing was my rock. I took that thing everywhere. The GBA holds a special place in my heart for being my first gaming device, but the DS was on another level.
I don’t want to post pictures rn (maybe I’ll do that when I get my blog running on my neocites) but back when I was a kid I carried around a HUGE case that held all of my DS games.
Looking back on it, I was a fucking lunatic for that, someone could have easily stolen all of my DS games or I could’ve lost them all!
In fact, that did happen! But not to this case in specific. My original GBA and games was stolen and I lost a smaller bag of DS and games, miraculously the 2nd one was returned to me safely.
Anyways, I never went anywhere without my DS. I was basically an iPad kid with this thing, but the games were all physical.
I still have all if my games actually, but no convenient way to play them. My original DS won’t turn on anymore, and my attempts to buy them on ebay have went poorly with broken hinges.
I have a 3DS, but honestly I really, REALLY don’t like the Circle Pad. It’s worse than the D-Pad and the D-Pad is in awkward position to use for long periods of time.
But back on topic, while doing my research, I decided to look up DS games and I was hit with more nostalgia than I realized I had.
Pokemon, Mario, Cooking Mama, Nintendogs, Brain Age, Kirby, Starfy, Warioware DIY, Megaman Zero, Diddy Kong Racing, Bomberman, Clubhouse Games
A lot of these were games that I haven’t thought about in years but when I saw the box arts all of the memories came flooding back.
But what I also noticed when looking through this list was how many iconic games there were I didn’t play
Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick, Zelda, Animal Crossing, TWEWY, Rhythm Heaven, Sonic, Trauma Center, Style Savvy, Professor Layton, Scribblenauts,
Obviously I was a Nintendo kid with a strong Pokemon/Mario/Kirby bias, but it’s surprising at how many fantastic games went right under my nose.
I kinda have an itch to go back and play all of these games and maybe some licensed/shovelware games? Maybe even on stream?
But then the problem becomes that I’d have to emulate them to capture the game, unless I wanna break the bank on a 3DS capture card.
And here’s where my problem comes in: I don’t like DS emulation. It’s one of if not the most impossible experience to emulate. The dual screens, the touch screen, the clam shell design, all of it cannot be realistically emulated on a PC or a phone.
Playing a DS game this way is too much of a compromised experience for me, and I can’t see myself enjoying it, even when streaming.
And it really upsets me because what are you supposed to do about it? The 3DS is out of production, and unless the Switch’s successor is planned to have a dual screen then the legacy of the DS is impossible to preserve.
We’ve already seen this with ports of DS games coming to Switch and other consoles. They have to make do with a pop up picture in the corner or completely redesign the game for an arguably worse control scheme.
It really sucks because again, unless this form factor comes back DS ports will always have to be compromised in a way that harms their preservation.
And unfortunately the emulation device market haven’t tried out a dual screen device yet either, I guess it’s too niche or maybe the DS isn’t retro enough to consider it being worth it.
Maybe someday this niche demand will be recognized, I’m sure as we move further away from the 3DS era more will recognize this. Hopefully either Nintendo or an emulator device maker will see the demand and make something along the lines of a DS Mini like the NES/SNES Mini, but not mini because it’s already a handheld.
They did already try something similar with the Zelda Game and Watch, so I hope they try a Gameboy/Gameboy Advance someday, although that would still mean we’d have to wait longer for a DS. Maybe they could skip? I doubt it.
This is why I’m putting my hopes into the emulation device market. There’s a lot of issues with those devices, but it’s far more realistic to see one of them attempt a DS device than Nintendo right now.
Wow I talked for a while. Sorry for the long post!

Ok so time to finally write about my thoughts on Epic Astro Story...
I didn't like it. It wasn't terrible, but there was a point very early on where I was completing it for the sake of completing it. It gets very repetitive once you unlock free expansion, and that's because there is very little to interact with. There are few buildings, despite it technically being a village builder. There are few weapons and even less armor. There are few alien species, and they are not evenly spaced out (most are in the snow and desert areas). It's just lacking, and it's frustrating since this could be a fun game. I do hope it gets a sequel someday that fleshes it out more.
Overall, I give this game a 5/10. It's ok and very basic, but nothing is done wrong, so I guess there's that.
So lets go over some tips:
1. After your first planet visit just send one person with high exploration. This just saves money.
2. To save more money, set up an exploration into an area with one person with high exploration. Leave the battle at the end and then send in your actual fighting team.
3. Ability = attack so use those people for fights only! And keep changing them out since different characters have different maxes
4. Upgrade weapons and armor first! Research points are a pain to get so use them to get vetter gear first.
5. Have lots of space ports and resort hotels. Easy money and the best way to get research points.
6. Upgrade tech last. And I mean the tech that makes you more money. The food one should get 2 upgrades, but you dont need more than that. Machine and electronics use the same materials, so pick one. Mining can get some upgrades, but dont bother finishing it until you have the volcano area. Same with demolition. Rocket doesn't need to be fully upgraded either.
And that's it. Can't wait to play the next game, Pocket Clothier! One of my personal favorites~

Well, the artists have said they still want to record music for them, and sb69 has said the project itself isn't over, just shobafes
it's unclear what will come next but I hope they get another game someday! They've always ben very open to fan suggestions and a lot of people are requesting they release a switch & pc port where you can play offline with all the original content of the game, just no new updates, maybe they'll do something like that someday
Ik dude ik so bad. I have kind of used games as second homes to hide away from irl issues for so many years and every time one leaves it's kind of devastating. some are totally way worse than others but hhhhh
I only discovered tales of crestoria recently and I'm so sad I never got to play, it looks so good
Ohhhh switch port would be awesome since I dont have a gaming pc. Tho since the game was never released globally I wonder if I'd even be able to play it on switch 🤔 I'm not too knowledgeable on how that kinda thing works if at all on the switch.
Whenever I think about Cresty I feel like I actually experience for real withdrawals. Like I just want it back so much. I legitimately dream of playing it again. I miss it that bad. My one regret is never getting Alvin in it 😔 At least that manga is supposed to happen at some point that finishes the story, which I am still eagerly looking forward to.
