#i just dont like that ppl will be like you HAVE to reblog or youre terrible.
I don't like to post about this stuff publicly but I'm tired of seeing ppl interact with this person while also following me, so I want to let you all know that if you follow/interact with Saturnflower841 then unfollow and block me.
They're very, very vocal about being a prshipper on here, in fact it doesn't even take a lot of scrolling to find the stuff they're talking about. Recently they posted a ship chart saying that they ship parentxchild and siblingxsibling and if you scroll further you can find even more.
On top of that, on their twitter (Saturnstuff20), they broke other peoples boundaries by following people who had prship DNI in bio.
This is not a callout, do NOT go into their askbox or anything it does literally nothing. This is more of an awareness post for my sake of mind and for anyone who doesn't know. If you do know and keep interacting then block me because I don't want you here.

I work hard on my icons is the thing, and I know other creators do as well, they're small edits but they're still edits
It's finding the perfect screen shot, its lighting and coloring and even more!
then we put them nicely onto a rebloggable post, give people different color options and shapes, throw in lil graphics to give it a certain flair
All. For. Fucking. Free.
the least you can do is like the post you take your icon from, the best thing you can do is reblog them
I stopped making icons for months because my posts would get like 13 notes (most of them likes) and yet I'd see the icon be used by more than 13 people - NONE OF WHICH LIKED OR REBLOGGED THE POSTS
I've even seen people take my icons (again who didn't like or reblog the original post) and edit them and use them for something else WITHOUT MY PERMISSION or give me credit
its exhausting, please support the content creators on this website

i think everyone who is reblogging that post about how horrible and creepy and fucked up it is to speculate about someone being possibly trans needs to
1) think about why/when these speculations are being made. context matters. are they harassing or crossing boundaries of anyone specific/an actual concrete person, or simply making comments to themselves, to friends, or in a general open online area.
2) ask yourself if it is actually so bad and harmful to say someone could be trans.
3) ask yourself if these speculations about transness actually uphold gender norms. does being trans upholds gender norms. is a trans woman reinforcing stereotype if she wears makeup, or is a transmasc reinforcing stereotype if they get top surgery. why do trans people, especially trans women, do these things. if these actual actions are okay for trans people to do as their form of gender expression, then is this actually bad to simply speculate about.
4) ask yourself if you've heard this shit before like. does this at all bring to mind how straight people found it offensive to be speculated as gay, and the subsequent gross backlash against gay people helping anyone out of the closet, and the movement of "let bros be bros" gaining more attention/priority than. yknow. simply normalizing people being gay and that not being a bad thing or an insult to think someone may be gay.
5) most importantly: who is making these speculations. is it "people" in general like the post says or is it fellow trans people, who know what it is like to be closeted with no info, no other trans people to talk to, no way to explore themselves safely until someone says something first. and is it trans people or specifically trans women, who are especially vulnerable to these things. are these trans women actually being harmful or do you view trans womens' personal speculations as inherently forceful, creepy, and invasive.
6) ask yourself why that may be.
7) be honest.

Okay i have yet to see a post about this that isnt filled with ppl being Annoying as Fuck on it, but,
theyve found wreckage of the submersible, it imploded (thank god, thats better than a drawn out suffocation over the course of several days, implosion means it was pretty much instantaneous) and the us navy have revealed they heard a weird sound on sunday from about where communication with the sub was lost, that was probably the sound of the implosion, [implied that they didnt say anything cos they didnt want to jump to conclusions without evidence of a wreckage, if there was a chance they were still alive.] no idea what the banging sounds were.
I do hope rescue efforts are extended to the migrants off the coast of greece, and am angry and horrified at their mistreatment, and that the media clearly cares less for their fates than that of the billionaires on the sub.
also, while i have you here,
The difference between a submersible and a submarine is not that one is safer. The titan was a submersible that was unsafe, but that is not because it was a submersible.
A submarine (or sub) is a watercraft capable of independent operation underwater.
A submersible is a watercraft designed to operate underwater, usually supported by a nearby surface vessel, platform, shore team or sometimes a larger submarine.
submarines generally dont go as deep as our deepest submersibles, but some can be down there for months at a time bc it is like. a self sufficient Ship. not all submersibles can go crazy deep, but to my knowledge, the only crewed vessels that can go that deep, are submersibles. (Alvin, deepsea challenger, limiting factor, trieste, fendouzhe or "striver").

RP:
Log 218
FTL: FTLR-3 has taken the form of the cyan lizard that was its host. It remains immobile, but the form it has taken is clearly that of a cyan lizard. One especially similar to the one from which it originated from. I've described my hypothesis as to why it would do such a thing in Log 216, but to summarise, it's for the sake of efficiency. Efficiency of movement, efficiency of existence. It's taking the best of all three sub-types of Rot and combining it.
FTL: I fear that this new form may grant FTLR-3 a much extended range of movement that, especially when combined with its apparent ability to learn, could result in it breaking out of the containment chamber. If all goes well, this will not be the case. I will carry on in my attempts at creating a potent corrosive substance, just in case LIFEGIVER's treatment does not arrive on time.
FTL: As for updates on the progress of my attempts to create such a substance, there aren't many. The progress has been lacking and it all is strikingly reminiscent of my attempts to create organisms without a foundation. I do believe that I am on edge of something, though. I cannot tell you what, only that it will aid me in my quest.
FTL: The time after FTLR-3 is eradicated is eagerly awaited. I cannot allow myself to get distracted from this process at this time, but the thoughts of experiments I could be doing now are alluring to me. For example, Eternal Anomaly (as our conversation has unfortunately not yet ceased) mentioned a slugcat-poleplant hybrid.
FTL: Creating a hybrid with a poleplant is indeed a curious idea. One that I wish I could afford the time to explore at this moment. Perhaps not with a slugcat, that seems to defeat the purpose. Slugcats are insanely adaptable creatures, they can withstand just about any modifications. Though a slugcat-poleplant hybrid would have its benefits, my interest lies in the reactivity of the poleplants leaves. What if a poleplant's genetics that pertain to them were implanted into say, a lizard? Forgive me for the amount of experiments that lizards have been the main subject of.
FTL: The 'leaves' could function as a warning system, though perhaps it wouldn't be that much of an effective one. Append them onto the tail though, and they could perhaps warn the lizard of any vibrations in the ground. The red colouring the lizard would be sure to inherit from the poleplants would also serve as a deterrent to predators, invoking the image of a typical red lizard. It could also potentially employ the poleplant's typical hunting method of ambush. Though it would lack the ability to blend in.
FTL: Perhaps if the lizard that would be modified were a white lizard... its camouflage abilities, if combined with the reactiveness of the poleplant. Truly could make a capable predator, armed with many ways to protect itself from any that may threaten it. Its red leaves would make it stand out, even when camouflaged, but everything needs a weakness, no?
FTL: I'll have to put this idea on hold. After this whole fiasco is over, this will be the project I pick up. Just another incentive to get this over with as quickly as possible. I tire of researching FTLR-3, it has too much urgency to it. But I shall carry on doing so, as though my interest grows weaker as my attention attempts to drift elsewhere, I remain curious about its nature.

inside you there are two wolves. one of them knows it's shitty to expect people to be Good Victims™ and express frustration Correctly™ so as not to offend those who haven't personally harmed them. the other knows that all the sound theory in the world won't make people like or want to listen to you when you are mean to them. you are very tired of reading vague guilt trippy posts about how people should've known about something sooner

i’ll tell you one thing i’ve realized during this anti-queer panic and legislation in the US which is that i am so fucking tired of non-americans/USAians (mainly europeans, but also white or white-passing folks who move to europe), telling us to “just leave the country” like it’s that easy or that simple. i’m done with it! maybe it was funny at first (it wasn’t), but the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people--especially queer people--in this country don’t have the means to just move or even travel beyond the borders. expenses of moving to a new country aside, the US is fucking huge and being bordered by mostly water, you can’t just ta-da! take a $30 train into another country. plenty of people never even have left their state! so seeing as this legislation is affecting people on a state-by-state basis (because the US is basically fifty different small governments that can’t make up their mind about anything between each other), people will be forced to live by the rules where they live. there’s no packing up from tennessee and just waltzing on over to california or michigan. the states where this queerphobic legislation and violence is affecting people the most are the states where poor people live and can’t just leave. not to mention you’d be leaving behind a cultural part of yourself, especially when it comes to race & ethnicity in different parts of the country.
but, you ask, if you do have the means to leave, and put aside worries of cultural ties, why don’t you? i can’t speak for every american when i say this, but i love my country. i hate its violent history and its narrow politics, but that’s not what i speak of. i love this land, i love the people who live here. with all its flaws, the US is a beautiful place and most of my loved ones live here. hypothetically speaking, i wouldn’t just immigrate back to korea or italy and leave my family and friends behind. i wouldn’t abandon the queer people who couldn’t leave just to save myself. is that what you europeans think people should do? well ha ha very funny, but when i pledged allegiance to the american flag as a kid it wasn’t because i believed in everything it stood for, but everything i wanted it to stand for. and i will fight for that. if a trans genocide happens upon us, i will be here for that. we will all be here for that.

god I know this is like The Wrong Stance on AI. I know its not about whether the art is Real and Human or If It Has A Soul and how a lot of the arguments against it are the same bullshit arguments people made against digital art like I Know. I Knowwww. but god, I'm really sorry, not to post like one of those annoying poetry bloggers I cant stand (yall are valid, live your truth, theres nothing wrong with what you post I'm just a petty bitch who hates poetry. unless I dont hate it.)
But theres just something about the way AI art will almost certainly never be able to mimic the exact way my pencil leaves an indentation in the paper, the way some of the lines I can never fully erase cause I pressed too hard, theyll have to at least train them to draw with a physical pencil first, and sure, they could train it to draw with a pencil and even erase the exact same piece I drew, line for line, on a piece of paper with a robot arm powered by AI, but they can't replicate. idk. the lineage of lefty bitches in my family, and the way I grew up going through school with my entire left arm silver with graphite, from doodling on my schoolwork. not yet anyway. but I guess I do live for the day we make the ai sentient enough that we can traumatize it by giving it homework after kneecapping its executive functions so it copes by drawing a big tiddy lobster monster. sure

i think it's funny you said "le evil terfs are just like that chuck mcgill rant!" it's like you missed the point of that scene.
the man was pushed to the edge and wronged his whole life, the offending party has set it up so no one will believe him and he looks hysterical, but he's objectively correct.
maybe like chuck mcgill you should all set yourselves on fucking fire.
