#katara#avatar#avatar the last airbender#atla#katara atla#i love katara so much... truly one of my fave characters of all time even tho i hadnt drawn her much until recently#i love that shes powered by righteous anger at injustice and Also she's a female character with flaws. thats v cool of her.#anyways. ive been thinking about katara /a lot/ lately so a lot of my sketchbook rn is just drawings of her waterbending#i like the way this one came out! thank u tai chi pose reference#i wanted to play around with fabric patterns so i tried to design a brand new outfit for her#(using refs from that most excellent atlaculture blog of course)#im pretty proud of how this turned out !!!#but i definitely burned myself out doing the costume design. by the time i got to the water i Gave Up.#am so sorry for how bad and flat the water looks.#hope u can forgive me and just focus on the pose and the lineart and the outfit bc i worked hard on all of those#<<<<3333 more katara content coming soon.
