I love Tumblr because I really get a whole person when I follow a person, shout outs to you if you have all of your fandoms on one blog. I’ve only been on this hell site for about half a year and I already have multiple tales of finding someone, following them, and discovering a whole new world of cool little things

A person who I followed for Yume Nikki art revealed the existence of a Plants vs Zombies fandom

A friend who recommended tumblr to me and often reblogs really cool and informative posts has revealed to me that fallout fans have taken a man with no skin and made him show so much skin

A person who I followed for fantastic Touhou art turned out to be a collector of dolls from Monster High, it’s always cool to see what they’ve gotten their hands on

A mutual I followed for their posts about Lobotomy Corporation managed to get my friend into Pocket Mirror, which they bought on impulse and played it nonstop for the next week

I love people like this, love your interests, I don’t care how dumb or embarrassing you think it is! Please, share them with the world, it make every day so much more exciting

i hope everyone knows that every bg3 take i have exists in the space of “these characters aren’t real but the players are”. i’m sick of takes that put down real living people over their choices for fictional characters who have no agency and cannot be hurt. making a real person feel bad about themselves over a video game choice… please have some self awareness

i love physical touch. yes, let's hug when we see each other and interlock arms when we walk down the hallway and high five when we're happy. let me put my arm over your shoulders when i'm bored and pat you on the back when i'm proud of you and hold your hands when we're having a heartfelt discussion. because what is more fun than being truly connected to you in this moment in a way that i can feel, in a way that grounds me. because what is more lovely than other people, and what is more delightful than just simply being people together.

i want to have a “friend” over. we’re sitting on the bed. they brush some of my hair behind my ear, afterwards we have our hands on top of one another’s, just staring into each others eyes.

the window is open, it’s a nice summer day, about 70 degrees.

we stare at eachother for a few seconds before bursting into a fit of giggles.

that’s all that matters right now, being here, with eachother, savoring this moment hoping it never leaves.

this is not important but last weekend there was a surprise birthday party for my friend and i introduced myself and included "i am a philosophy scholar" in my lil intro and several people said "OHH! SO? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?" and i PROUDLY got to inform them that, in my trained and professional opinion, it is to love loudly and find joy in spite of it all

i saw the prime preview of the first two episodes of Good Omens 2 at the theater tonight (free popcorn! free drink! free poster!), and the one thing i have to say about it is what a joy it was to be in a group of people genuinely enjoying and reacting to the same thing that i was enjoying.

people cheered. people gasped. people ‘aww’ed.

i love people, i love good omens, and i can’t wait to see the rest of the season. (and i wish i could see the whole season with that crowd, because that was a fucking great experience.)

i think my favourite thing ever is when you’re in a splatoon lobby and you start spinning around and then like 3 or 4 other people join u and then u all are spinning around and spamming ZL together. yeah thats my love language right there

i get attached to people so easily because i wholeheartedly believe in a persons ability to be good. i hope and pray that they will be gentle and tread lightly and i rejoice when they do. and if they do not, i let it shake me. but i do not give up on humanity.
