Ezekial is the oldest twin and as such he's always taken the role of protector. In school he refused to take advanced classes because that meant leaving his brother behind. He didn't date much in high school preferring to study and hang out with his family.

He loves all things technology. He knows computers inside and out. He loves to read and write and dreams of using his programming abilities in creating visual novels. He bounces story ideas off his biggest fan, his twin Ephy.

Now that he's an adult he's thinking of getting a place of his own but he doesn't know how Ephy will be able to make it on his own. So his biggest motivation for doing the double BC is not so much finding love for himself but he's hoping Ephy will find someone so that he doesn't have to worry about him being alone.

Ephriam has always looked up to his older siblings, Ezekial most of all. Despite Ezekial's claims to the contrary Ephy knows he's holding his brother back from going after his dreams. He knows he's not as smart has his twin, it didn't take being told by his teacher that he was dumb. The problem is Ephy loved school. Loves to read. To learn new things. He just doesn't learn as fast as everyone else. It was better after Cecil started to homeschool him. The only problem was Ezekial felt he needed to stay with Ephy and homeschool too. Moving to San My was an adventure unfortunately it was also filled with unexpected dangers for someone like Ephy who considers everyone his friend until proven otherwise. So far he's had five jobs in five months. He doesn't do well under pressure and he's had more than one public meltdown from being yelled at he's taken to finding jobs he can do at home.

He's not entirely sure he wants to do the BC. What if he says or does something that makes someone yell at him? He knows Ezekial will be there but he knows that might not always be the case. Sooner or later Ezekial will leave and Ephy's biggest fear is being alone.

Shoujo manga recommendations - otome game isekai

So, after 10+ years reading shoujo manga, I’ve read over 1k titles, admittedly, a reasonable amount is one-shot (or at least a collection of), but nonetheless, over time I had to expand my interests.

Lately, I’ve started reading the otome game isekai genre, and decided it’d be nice to share the ones I thought were best.

Most of them are pretty much the same, but the best ones usually have a twist, so...

! Warning: You’ll most likely want to beat up 1 or 2 characters from each one, but worry not, so do I and the other characters

1. Fiancée's Observation Log of the Self-proclaimed Villainess

Crown prince Cecil was so brilliant that everything in life was easy to the point of boring him, then one day, his fiancée Bertia suddenly said "Prince Cecil, I am a villainess!" Claiming that this world is the same as that of an "otome game" from her past life and that she is playing the role of the "villainess" in it, she aims to play her part well and have their engagement annulled. With that goal in mind, she sets about causing turmoil in Cecil's daily life.

This one definitely takes the gold for me. Super sweet and pretty funny.

2. My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

Most people would prefer being the protagonist of a world full of adventure, be it in a game or in another world. But, unfortunately, a certain girl is not so lucky. Regaining the memories of her past life, she realizes that she was reborn in the world of Fortune Lover—one of the games she used to play. Unfortunately, the character she was reincarnated into—Katarina Claes—is the game's main antagonist, who faces utter doom in every ending. Using her extensive knowledge of the game, she takes it upon herself to escape from the chains of this accursed destiny. However, this will not be an easy feat, especially since she needs to be cautious as to not set off death flags that may speed up the impending doom she is trying to avoid. Even so, to make a change that will affect the lives of everyone around her, she strives—not as the heroine—but as the villainess.

This one takes 2nd place! It has a different result than others, and the FL is great - everyone is, to be fair.

3. Of Course I’ll Claim Palimony

"I'll annul our engagement!" My fiancé suddenly declared?! Apparently he's in love with the recently transferred count's daughter and is planning on making me the villain in order to annul the engagement. Although I have no lingering attachments about the engagement, I do have to claim a hefty consolation fee don't I?

This is sooo good. The FL is spectacular and manages to stand out - even if just a bit - from the rest of the genre.

4. I’m a Villainous Daughter, so I’m going to keep the Last Boss

Avoid the BAD END! That's the goal of the villainess in this plot-twisting story!! She has been reborn into the world of an otome game as the villainess, Irene. Using her memories of her former life, she recognizes flags indicating she's en-route to the bad end, so she makes a plan to conquer the last boss (the evil king Claude), make him her lover, and see if she can open up a new route!

Pretty funny, and the FL is bold. Also, the ML is a bishounen.

It’s one of the few mangas from this genre that has been completely translated, and since it only has 13 chapters, it’s a good way to start out.

5. The Plain & Unnoticeable Me is No More

Elaine Lana Norris, who was born at the top of the aristocratic daughter, was declared abandoned by her second fiancé at the school's founding party. Lana, who has been made a villain daughter, is driven out of her home by a strict grandfather. But there is a secret in Lana that everyone doesn't know about?

I don’t want to give out any spoilers, however, it suffices to say that she accepts her role as the villainess.

Ok, I think these 5 are my favorite, but the ones below have been selected as well, so they’re still pretty good and worth reading.

6. The Villiainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom    

Tiararose was supposed to be disengaged and exiled from the country. “This was the Otome game I had played!” She realized on the day before the story’s ending??……. Shall I wait for the judgment? But, I did not do anything too cruel……. Thinking so, the ending continues. But, during the judgement??something that was not possible in the game happened. The neighboring crown prince courted the villainous daughter Tiararose.

ML: 10/10 FL: 8/10 (too insecure for my taste)

7. Endo and Kobayashi’s Live Commentary on the Villainess

She’s always putting on that grumpy face even though she’s not actually that upset! Oh, why can’t she just be honest with herself…!??? She is a tsundere, after all? When her embarrassment levels exceed a certain limit, she will explode into anger. However, the point that she’s suppressing under the surface is that she wouldn’t mind that sort of thing if it were in a less public place.? As Endo-kun passionately reacts to the antics of Lady Liselotte, the villainess of an otome game, Kobayashi-san provides a painstaking breakdown of her tsundere behaviour. Suddenly, one person could hear their voices; Liselotte’s fiancée, Prince Siegward. That is where this story begins.

8. I’m the Villainess, but the Capture Targets are too Abnormal  

The villainess, Mystia, remembered her past life on her 10th birthday and has unwittingly turned the characters in the otome game "Kyun Kyun Love School" into yanderes! In order to avoid becoming the love rival of the "heroine" who will lead her to her downfall, she starts making every effort to break off her engagement with her "prince-like classmate"! That’s was what supposed to happen...But, because of her kind personality, her favorability increased instead!

It’s still in its beginning stages, but seems pretty solid.    

9. Though I May Be a Villainess, I'll Show You I Can Obtain Happiness!

Great way to start out, it has quite a few options, so if you don’t like one, give another one a try!

10.  The Villainess, Cecilia Silvie, Doesn't Want to Die, So She Decided to Cross-dress!      

I was reincarnated into the body Cecilia Silvie, the villainess of an otome game. According to the plot, what awaits me in the normal route is either a slow, painful death or an instantaneous one... Essentially, every route leads to my demise. Then I'll change my fate! And that's why I decided to become a man. However, I made a mistake during a certain event, and the story began to head down an unexpected path...?

I haven’t seen any other like this, and if you like gender bender, this one’s for you!

11.  I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History ― The More of a Villainess I Become, the More the Prince will Dote on Me

Alicia is the eldest daughter of the noble Williams family—a bloodline that excels in dark magic. Her jet-black hair and golden eyes command a powerful presence, but her most unique features are, without a doubt, her sharp tongue and malevolent nature. By all means, she is a villainess, but also a fictional character from an otome game!

12. I’m Not a Villainess!! Just Because I Can Control Darkness Doesn’t Mean I’m a Bad Person!

The novel The Saint Beloved by the Prince is set in the land of Lacia, where spirits control the elements, each of which is overseen by a "Spirit King." On rare occasions, these Spirit Kings may bless a single human, granting them immense magical control over their respective element. The heroine, Amelia Logan, and the villainess, Claudia Leitzya, are two sides of the same coin, blessed by the Light and Dark Spirit Kings respectively. However, while Amelia is beloved, Claudia is hated and rejected due to her dark skin, ebony locks, and aptitude for dark magic. After dying in modern-day Japan, Sakura is reborn as an infant Claudia. While difficult at first, Claudia tries to adjust to this new life, all the while accompanied by the Dark Spirit King Gerald. But even this task is far from easy; people fear her at first glance, no matter how she acts toward them. Still, Claudia is set on changing her fate from the novel, proving she is a good person and breaking free from the shackles of a "villainess."

13. Rebirth of the Villainess: The Life of Letizia after the Engagement Annulment      

For some reason, the duke's daughter, Letizia, was plotting to break her engagement with the prince. Her plan succeeded and the prince, none the wiser. But shortly after the engagement was terminated... The King collapsed! In that moment, she recalled her memories of her past life as a nurse and she fully utilised her knowledge & experience as a nurse, to save the King's life. Thinking she had achieved what she wanted, she thought she could finally relax, drinking her favourite beverage and leisurely spend her time, she instead somehow keeps getting involved in incident after incident. The slow and peaceful life is now nothing but a dream!? Lazy daughter, busy seeking freedom and laziness!

14. I Won't Become a Villainess. I'm Just a "Normal" Duke's Daughter!

A Japanese person reincarnated into an otome game chock full of death flags for the villainess, Rosalind. "I'm going to live an enjoyable life in this world!" Making full use of the game knowledge to avoid death flags, for some reason events keep happening one after another?! Contracting with spirits, helping her father (the prime minister) with his work using her modern day knowledge, taking a walk with the holy beast... and on top of all that, even starting up the heroine's event...? Will Rosalind be able to smash through every unknown death flag that comes her way...?! And will she be able to be fluffy lovey-dovey with the supporting beastkin character she liked from her previous life?!

Cute. Has beasts.

15. Milady Just Wants to Relax      

She worked herself to death in her past life, but then she was reborn in another world as the villainess Ronia! As expected, her engagement is broken and she's expelled from society, but now she takes that chance to live peacefully, and even opens a cafe with the help of her fairy comrades, which is becoming unexpectedly popular with beast-kin...?

Also cute. Also has beasts.

16. I Swear I Won’t Bother You Again!            

Violette, a proud and beautiful daughter of a duke, commits a crime out of jealousy towards her half-sister. Convicted, Violet faces her own heart with sincerity in a prison cell and regrets her sin. Then time rewinds to a turning point—to her first meeting with Maryjun one year ago. Violette makes a decision. She will not make mistakes this time. Without committing a crime and bothering anyone, she will live an ordinary, plain and inconspicuous life...! However, incidents contrary to Violette's expectations occur one after another...?!

On her 15th birthday, Hinase Kaede, a young girl who was working as a part-timer, perished in a traffic accident. Upon her death, a self-proclaimed “God” appeared, declaring that Kaede would be brought back to life. Shori: The ability to freeze the things I aim at. That way I’d be able to make ice cream quickly, right? (laughing) It’s also quite mysterious. Kento: The ability to make the women I meet fall in love with me within two seconds (laughing). Fuma: Since always I have wanted to be able to teleport. But recently I came to like traveling to places. If I teleport there’s no sceneries I can see along the way. Actually what’s inconvenient for us humans is quite interesting, that’s what I think recently. Sou: The ability to remember everything I see. Marius: The ability to cure diseases.

Q2. If you are reborn, in which country, which era and which social position would that be?

Shori: As an aristocrat in mediaeval Europe, it seems interesting. In a different way from now I’d like to spend an elegant and luxurious life. Kento: I’d like to play an active role in the 1980’s and since I have great respect for America’s president Ronald Wilson Reagan, I want to be reborn in America during that time and be his supporter. Of course it’d be fine if I’m reborn as myself again too. Fuma: I’m perfectly fine the way I am now. Even if I’m reborn I still want to be an idol in Japan. Sou: I want to be reborn in Australia and become an idol! Marius: I like it best right now. Because if we go back in history, I think the present is the most peaceful.

Q3. You became a film producer. What kind of film would you make?

Shori: I want to make an exciting film about a hero with a dream that isn’t only aiming at children but that adults can watch as well. Kento: A film titled “Two seconds”. The protagonist is able to see into the future for two seconds but even if he can predict a major accident in front of his eyes, he cannot save anyone in these two seconds. I want to show their vain suffering. In the end they desperately live in the moment so that they can create a happy future. Fuma: I want to show mundane everyday life. Realising that they live a nonchalant casual life style, things like that. Sou: A film about a family. However, rather than showing a warm and comfortable family, I want to show something serious with a dark side like the family falling apart. Marius: I like documentary films. I often watch documentaries produced by CNN and BBC, so I want to make something about global warming to make the people watching become more friendly towards our planet.

Q4. If you were to become a girl for a day, what would you do?

Shori: I want to do something to change our male-dominated world but I guess that won’t change in just one day... (diverges from his opinion). I want to be reborn on Wednesday so I can watch movies all day long. (t/n: for ladies in Japan many cinemas offer a discount every Wednesday) Kento: I want to go to town and fall in love with a lovely man. I don’t want it to rain. Fuma: I want to go to the sea and wear a swimsuit, I’d like to experience having guys stare at me. Sou: With the body of a girl I’d like to try dancing hip hop in a way only girls can! Also I want to do pole dancing! Marius: In one day I want to put on make-up and have a girls-only gathering while doing something only girls can do, then upload it on SNS!

Q5. What if the Gods were able to grant you only one wish, what would you wish for?

Shori: Like in “Doraemon” I want a Gourmet Table Cloth. It magically makes food appear on top of the cloth when it’s placed on a surface, so I’d be happy if I can use it at different locations and still eat things that are good for my body. Kento: I want to be the only one to experience it but I want 48 hours in a day. Since 24 hours isn’t enough. Having double the amount of speed to be able to do many things within a day, I’d wish to have more time right now. Fuma: I hardly ever pray to Gods... Well, I’d wish for my family’s health. Sou: I wish to have sound health. I want to live long (laughing). Marius: It’s not something for myself but I’d like to wish something for the people in the world. For example everyone to be able to understand all the words in the world. If others understand other countries’ languages they’d also be able to understand their trouble and suffering, I think there wouldn’t be that many fights anymore.

Q6. If you could replace one part of your body, which would it be?

Shori: Nose. Because I have nasal inflammation I’d like a nose without it. Kento: Abdominal muscles. Although my body fat percentage is about 8,3%, I can’t seem to gain abs at all (bitter laugh). Gaining it is difficult so I want better muscles. Fuma: To get my body bigger I need to gain weight but in my case when I gain weight it only shows on my face. I hate it. That’s why I want genes that don’t make me gain weight on my face (laughing). Sou: I want to become muscular. I want pectoral muscles like Fuma-kun (laughing). Marius: Compared to the size of my face my ears look small, that’s why I want bigger ears.

Q7. Imagine you become a squadron hero. What kind of weapon will you use to fight?

Shori: I don’t want to hold any weapons. Painful things like fighting, I don’t want to do them. If I really have to, I guess a katana? But if there’s fire... No even better, I want a magic wand that can do anything (laughing). Kento: I want to use the ability to bring dinosaurs back from the past, so dinosaurs can fight against other weapons (laughing). Fuma: Pistols. Sou: I want to manipulate people with spiritual power. Marius: Because I don’t want to hurt people physically, I want a weapon that can control people’s emotions. I want to sprinkle sparkling magic powder over an angry person so they become happy again (laughing).

Q8. If you fall in love with a Disney princess, which one would it be?

Shori: It should be the princess deciding which prince to be happy with. But if it’s someone who appears to be single and lonely, wouldn’t it only be Elsa? Kento: Cinderella! I would like to rescue her from unfortunate circumstances. Fuma: I’m not really familiar with Disney. I only know a few like Cinderella and Snow White but... ah, it would be Aladdin’s Jasmine. Sou: Arielle! Because my song is called “Mermaid”. Marius: She’s not really popular in Japan but I like Pocahontas. In most Disney movies there’s a message behind the story, it’s cool that she’s a strong girl.

Q9. If you could choose your own body odor, which scent would you like?

Shori: Soap scent. Kento: Something like mint I guess. Because I’m the type who becomes hot very quickly, I want a scent that cools me down. Fuma: Citrus fruits. It’s fresh and slightly sweet, that would be good. Sou: I like sweet scents. But vanilla is a little persistent... I guess it would be honey. Marius: Butter...just kidding (laughing). I remember the smell of the forest in Heidelberg from when I was little. It was a pleasantly cool smell. It’s kind of cold but there is warmth in it as well.

Q10. If you are reborn as an instrument, which one would it be?

Shori: Acoustic guitar. So if I’m reborn I want Eric Clapton to play me (laughing). Kento: I guess a guitar. You can always carry me by your side then (laughing). A big instrument like a piano, I think it would feel really lonely during the times no one is playing it. Fuma: Acoustic guitar. Since I’d be something cool. Sou: Harp (immediate reply)! I like the songs Cecile Corbel-san plays on it in “Arrietty”, I’m addicted to them. It also feels impressive and elegant, I like that it can produce delicate sounds. Marius: Cello or drums. With the cello I like how it can produce low and high sounds. With the drums, I feel like it resonates with humans. If I become a big drum, with loud thuds and astonishing sounds I want to unite everyone (laughing).

ifffffffffff nobody minds i am gonna steal the nl teams ranking thing too...and i will try to be a bit Brutally Honest so @ everyone whos not a pirates/dodgers fan i apologize......

1) pittsburgh pirates even though a lot of my old favorites are gone now, there are just as many new guys coming up through the organization who've made me love them quickly, to say nothing of players like cervelli, polanco, and marte who are still sticking around. the dynamic of this team is what makes me love them - not their location, their performance, or even their colors - and i don't think that's likely to change very quickly. sure, there are some pirates i don't care for too much, but altogether they are a sorta scrappy bunch of guys who get along well and look nice out on the field even when they're stranding 672 runners per game and going on gigantic losing streaks.

2) los angeles dodgers speaking of dynamic, the dodgers have about just as much charm as the pirates for me. dave roberts makes a lot of the difference on his own (seriously have you heard him laugh?), but so many of the players have really won me over as well. i even like chase utley, no matter what anybody says! again, the most important thing about this team is how tightly-knit they are. it also helps that they have kershaw and are really good. i'm hoping they get to the world series this year, even if the pirates can't.

3) san francisco giants this is where it starts being about specific players. first of all, i really love mark melancon; i absolutely have to root for any team he's on, so that alone would make me a slightly reluctant giants fan. then there are matt moore, jeff samardzija, brandon belt, mike morse, and derek law, and i am pretty much almost entirely sold. i might not like the more popular players on the team, but whatever.

4) san diego padres all i know about the padres is that they have brad hand in their bullpen, and brad hand is my favorite player, so i love the padres. also wil myers makes me laugh for some reason.

5) new york mets i am a very big degrom fan - i like syndergaard a lot - i love gary, keith, and ron - there are some other players i like well enough, like grandy and yo. otherwise, i don't really know much about the team and don't care for some of the players. so unless jake or noah are starting a game, i'm kind of neutral.

6) washington nationals the big hook here for me is max! max max max max. i love max. i also like werth and rendon and roark...and joe blanton, who i forgot just signed recently, and it helps that vance worley is hanging around in the organization now too. but again, i won't really watch any games unless max is starting.

7) st louis cardinals again, i'm pretty much neutral. one of my lowkey favorite pitchers john gant recently arrived in st louis, so that gives me reason enough to pay attention. i also like brett cecil, michael wacha, randal grichuk, and yadi. granted, if the cards become a powerhouse again i won't be quite so neutral about them; but at the same time, i'll be glad to see them beating the cubs.

8) miami marlins well unfortunately jose was one of the biggest draws for me to be interested in the fish.... that aside, two of my favorite pitchers (jeff locke and kyle lobstein) are now down there, to say nothing of christian yelich, ichiro, giancarlo, and so on. they are a bunch of fun pals who id like to see do well for sure.

9) philadelphia phillies the phils used to be bigger favorites when charlie morton was on the team, but at this point the only player i'm really interested in is aaron nola. but when i say "really interested" i mean really interested. he's one of the most amazing pitchers to watch and i'm determined not to miss a single start of his in the future, particularly after his elbow issues last season. so he alone puts his entire team in this spot. (pedro florimon helps a bit too, but he'll probably just stay in the minors this season unfortunately.)

10) milwaukee brewers so there's scooter gennett, neftali feliz, junior guerra, keon broxton (who we really never should have gotten rid of)...and then matt garza is just sort of strangely fun to watch. that's about it here. plus, we lose to this team a ridiculous amount of times every year and i do not like miller park very much.

11) atlanta braves i was a bit more interested in the braves when john gant was with them, but now it's just colon, dickey, and dansby swanson whose face i admire more than i should. i also have to admit that i'm bizarrely fascinated by the chop and its song because of just how catchy it is. otherwise, neutral.

12) arizona diamondbacks i'm still mad at zack for deciding to come here, and aside from him there's just goldy. i am a very intense form of neutral for the dbacks.

13) cincinnati reds i like votto and suarez, but the reds tend to beat us up and we also have an odd rivalry with them where we get all mad and the benches clear, so...i don't really care about them too much. i did feel slightly bad for them having such an awful bullpen last year, though.

14) colorado rockies well, i like chad bettis (and am glad that he got cancer free after that scare he had). otherwise i slightly resent nolan arenado for looking like brad hand without brad hand's cuteness. it's also strange to me that this team exists in its current location because of the altitude issues, although i can't deny the park is beautiful. but i really don't pay attention to them at all.

15) chicago cubs so i can't say that i don't like any players on this team; i like baez and strop and hendricks, and there are a lot of others who i'm neutral about as well. but my dislike of the cubs isn't really about most of the players as much as it is about the culture around the team. the media has gone overboard for sure in hyping up their every move, but the stuff maddon does with goofy outfits and zoo animals, plus the attitude he holds in interviews and other moments, gets on my nerves big time. there's something condescending about the cubs, mainly stemming from him. i also don't like bryant, rizzo, arrietta, lackey, lester, schwarber, or zobrist (the first three in particular).
