AHHH so sadly, I don't usually make my own soup. I usually make Store Bought. My fave soup is cream of broccoli and cheddar, especially the one from Tim Hortons with a tea biscuit!! I also like Hunt's pea soup as well. SO yummy!

The only homemade soup I've ever made was a leek soup, because I saw it in Fruits Basket and I wanted to know what it tasted like, LOL. I made it in my crockpot with a recipe that was provided in the book that came with it. It was very yummy, but Leek soup is definitely better first day.

Yeaaaah... I should make some home made soup again. Anyone have a recipe they can recommend?? As long as it's not mushroom-anything, don't like mushies.

Broccoli cream soup

It's super easy to make!!

You need:

1 Broccoli

1 pack of cooking cream/ vegan alternative

About 2 cups of water

Spices of your choice (I always use salt, pepper, nutmeg, ginger and vegetable broth)

Possibly a little bit of flour

How to make it:

Roughly chop ur broccoli and clean it.

Throw your broccoli, the cream and the water in a pot, add your spices to taste.

Boil the broccoli until it's easy to poke through with a fork.

Take it off the heat.

Take out the broccoli and a little of the soup & blend it up (or use a hand blender in your pot).

Pour the blended broccoli back into the pot and mix it with the rest of the soup.

The right consistency:

If your soup is too watery, mix 1 to two tablespoons of flour in some water, add that to the soup and put it back on the heat until it thickens.

If your it's too thick, add water until it's to your liking. You may have to add some more spice after, cuz water dilutes flavor.
