The Brotherhood of Steel don't commit Genocide
Their goal is to protect humanity - not including Ghouls - from Dangerous Technology (Laser weapons, FEV, Replication tech) and try to destroy the fruits of that danger.
But they're not the Enclave. They're not out here trying to make a Human Ethnostate.
As a rule, they've given it a go once or twice but, typically, they're not genocidal. Does the Brotherhood of Steel dislike Ghouls and Super Mutants? Absolutely. Did the West Coast chapter care that the NCR allowed both to be citizens? No, they didn't. Because they weren't a danger to Humanity as individuals.
Why haven't they wiped out Goodneighbor in Fallout 4? Or hell, why doesn't MacCready (who isn't the BOS biggest fan) bring up Underworld or any Brotherhood activity there? No, he doesn't - so its safe to assume that they weren't wiped out.
In Fallout 4, the fight is against Synths the same way it was about Super Mutants in Fallout og - the Synth is just the dangerous byproduct of the Brotherhood's actual target, the Insitute. Just like how the Brotherhood wasn't out to kill all Super Mutants, but the Super Mutants who served the master and threatened Mankind.
From Maxson's perspective (wrong as it may be), he thinks that Synths represent a danger to mankind for two reasons:
They have the ability to near perfectly infiltrate any organization with sleeper cells that can be activated at a moment
Synths might one day decide that they don't need Humans anymore, and instead of trying to run away from the Insitute they'll take over and mass produce
Both of these are nightmare scenarios for the Brotherhood. But the second the Institute is gone, so are both of those points. There will be no more infiltrating (except for DiMa's shenanigans) and the ability to make new Synths has exploded. And, actually, so too did the way to make new Super Mutants so once the current batch is gone there won't be anymore.
Arthur Maxson's work here is done. Now he'll just set up a new local chapter (he has the ego to just unilaterally make one, or he could have made contact with the West Coast and got permission) in Boston. The Brotherhood doesn't want to be the local government, so they'll let the Minutemen do that but they'd mostly just be here to vibe.
Shit, they can't even do anything about the Synths. Not even a deep brain scan will reveal if there is a Synth component, and its impractical to do mass-brain surgery. The Brotherhood pretty much has to wipe their hands and go "we did good gang"
So sorry Thaddeus, no we will not be "killing all the ghouls" because, to be completely honest, there are more important uses of the Brotherhood's time and micro-fusion cells.

Okay, so I haven't watched all of FMAB yet, but I love how Ed is so fucking oblivious. He got a gorgeous girl, way smarter than him and out of everybody's league, who plays with the cord of the telephone when they speak together because she's down bad and laughs softly when he talks. And he's like "yeah, yeah, well, I am glad you're alive haha I thought they were going to brutally fucking murder you today. So that's a relief. Bye, super best friend in the world" and hangs up like the moron he is. But not only that, because well, they can't see each other so I get he doesn't notice the crush in Winry's voice, BUT LING?????? Dude has been with that prince inside a guy's stomach and has carried him around and cooked him his boot and yelled at him for giving up because he can't leave somebody as ambitious as him there without accomplishing what he wants, and then he says some gay bullshit like "Ling is still in there" after looking at Greed's eyes ONCE. One thing is not realizing a girl is crushing on you but Oh my God Edward for fuck's sake get a clue and realize you like men-

over the years experts have speculated on what makes a tv series great, but they've all missed a really important correlating factor, and thats fred armisen showing up for about 15 seconds to do an intricately crafted bit of madness
if your show has fred armisen acting a funky little freak we're gonna have a good time
(i would like for him to show up in the next series as a slightly different radio host with a fixation on a different niche genre, and for him to completely deny all knowledge of dj carl of fort fiddle) (sort of like a post apocalyptic mlepclaynos)

In English, we say, "Regret."
In TES, we say, "I'm afraid there is a . . . situation. The time has come to test both your skill and your loyalty to Sithis. The Black Hand has learned that the Dark Brotherhood has been infiltrated. By whom, and for what purpose, we do not yet know. What we do know is that there is some link between the traitor and the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. The traitor has tainted that place beyond repair. It was learned that the traitor has been active for quite some time, since before you joined the Brotherhood. That absolves you of any suspicion. Listen well, child of Sithis. You have been chosen to perform the ancient rite known as Purification."

I'm about 2/3rds of the way through The Vulcan Academy Murders - really like it so far! The story is intriguing, I'm loving all the Sarek POV chapters, everything with Spock and Kirk is excellent
Only downside is all the chapters about Daniel Corrigan.
I really don't want to read half a book about a 70 year old marrying his friend's barely legal daughter who he watched grow up since she was a baby 😐 It takes me out of my enjoyment of the story big time.

I'm not very happy to see that some fanfics based on the Mario Movie, are depicting Luigi as absolutely miserable living in the Mushroom Kingdom.
First off, Luigi is a grown man who can make his own decisions. He didn't have to move to the Mushroom Kingdom if he didn't want to; especially as there is a warp pipe to Brooklyn, and he can see Mario any time.
Second, the ending of the movie, and especially the scenes when they reunite, and when they team up to fight Bowser, confirms what the brothers knew all along, but they needed to fully understand after being separated:
They do not choose to stay together because they have no choice. They choose to stay together because they truly need each other.
Nothing in any universe or world can ever threaten or harm them, as long as they stick together and protect each other. They are bound as a pair for life ❤💚

Lucien Lachance gave so much to the Brotherhood. He was one of their best and was able to recruit some of their best.
His devotion to the Brotherhood, the Night Mother, and Sithis was so complete that he was willing to undo it all. To wipe the Cheydinhal Sanctuary clean even though it contained people he knew and loved. Almost everyone in that Sanctuary has a story about Lucien and how he helped them, recruited them, even SAVED them from themselves. He RAISED Ocheeva and Teinvaana and they adore him.
Yet, his reward for his loyalty is to be executed as a traitor at the hands of his friends and the true traitor. To later be risen to aid a broken and dying Brotherhood in Skyrim, to watch from the void as his home and his family are brought to the brink again and again. Everything he fought to protect nearly undone by the failings of the Brotherhood leadership.

When I first watched Fma I was around Alphonse's age, and I related to him deeply. When you're a kid, It's like no one is giving you the guidance you need and also you have no agency. I was a dumb kid, and Al's steadfast elotional support was an idol for me growing up.
But then I kept growing up, Al wasn't the brother I was connected to. It was Ed. Maybe it was just the fact he was the main character, but I related to him on a fundemental level. He can't control his emotions sometimes and cares deeply about the people he loves, but has trouble expressing it î a meaningful way. He's insecure about his appearance and is filling shoes too big. He even had the 'gifted child gets thrown down a peg by his ego and life's permanently altered' (bro is literally an adhd metaphor) so to say I related to him was an understatement.
That's just a testiment to the writing, and it's ability to display the ambition of youth and the loss of innocence.

Was.... that supposed to be the end of FO4? 😐 Like once you've blown up the Institute you get this random nostalgic slideshow that has nothing to do with ANYTHING and that's it? You beat the game! Good for you! But we'll place you back into the world to keep playing I fucking guess? What's going to happen to your friends and The Commonwealth with all the decisions you made?😐 Don't ask us! Not like we're going to make an RPG with the infamous RPG IP, that would be silly!
