younger brother yuuji goes through a (very rough) phase where whenever you and sukuna go on date night he clings to sukunas leg and sobs for you guys to bring him with you. sukuna has to pry the little spider monkey off of his leg and into uraumes arms and slam the door shut before the strangely adaptive toddler can escape from their arms. but, it only ends up with yuuji locking himself in the bathroom with uraumes phone, spam calling you and sukunas phone and sending blurry, toddler taken, face pics of him crying. eventually when he starts getting voicemails of just yuuji sobbing, sukuna gets so peeved at the boy that the two of you go home just for sukuna to yell at him. but with the scolding doesn’t work, considering how yuuji is back to clinging onto sukunas leg with the biggest grin on his face for having his wishes granted. the two of you go a couple months without date night :/

hmmm thinking about a COD ABO au where the 141 live in a society where alphas are typically seen at the top of the pack, with betas and omegas as their subordinates. They're used to omegas being submissive and traditionally housepartners.

Enter the reader: this towering, large, heavyset omega who comes from a different society where omegas are actually on top of the pack, where they're more aggressive and territorial compared to the other two sexes.

The others expect you to roll over, maybe be more submissive, and they're quickly proven wrong when you snap at Price when he gets a little close—and it startles them, because an omega just snapped at the head alpha.

The boys grow intrigued by you, but they quickly learn not to overstep your boundaries; you show them you have no qualms with baring your teeth at them. You're not mean, you're polite and respectful as long as they respect you. However, some other idiot doesn't realize this and gets the idea that you need to learn your place; an omega shouldn't be ordering them around, shouldn't even be a soldier, nevermind be anything but a househusband.

The boys get a glimpse of how different omegas are in your society when they see you force the other alpha into submission, sinking your sharp teeth into the back of their neck, threaten to bitch them if they don't learn their place. Blood glints over your slick spit teeth, pupils dilated and feral with aggression and anger. You hold them in a scruff, pinning them down with your body and strength, until the idiot submits. Only then do you let them go with their metaphorical tail tucked between their legs, and you raise your head, glaring at anyone who'll meet your gaze, and ask if anyone else wants to get bitched.

Gaz has to smack Soap's hand down when it starts to rise, ignoring the chubbing in their individual pants as you dip from sight, with Ghost watching you with dark eyes, and Price eventually calling everyone back to their activities. Though, it's a silent agreement that all four boys slink back to their rooms to rub one off to the idea of you bitching them out.

So I actually redrew these almost a month ago, oops. I plan on eventually finishing my redraw of the "crowbar" piece as well!

Featuring Aquatonauts Raz and Sasha! Even though his family is very in tune with their hydrokinesis, Raz can't shake the fear from his prerecognition visions. He has a tendency to scramble up the nearest person-- usually Sasha-- for safety when he feels afraid.

Sasha practically helped raise Raz from a baby, so he tries not to complain. He just puts up with his clingy son.

Something I've been wondering- how do player deaths work in dbhc? Like is it a permadeath au, or does respawn work similarly to how it does in minecraft? Bit of both? I know there was the real threat of etho shutting down as a result of his injuries when he first deviated, but if respawn isn't a thing then that begs the question of how the life system works when they're on 3rd life etc

HI good questions :D I actually rambled a bit about “damage’’ and “respawn” mechanics in This Ask Answer! (ALSO THANK YOU I’VE BEEN HAVING LOTS OF FUN WITH THEM!!)

I will add on though: i mention in that post that a “Shut Down” is most similar to a permanent death, where the android goes offline due to permanent damage, injury, or loses the ability to function some way otherwise. The android won’t be able to boot up or come back online unless it’s fixed or repaired, and because of the androids’ programmed psychological responses to pain, shutting down feels the most like dying. So, even though they can be fixed, it’s unpleasant and scary at the very least. However, I’d also like to note an exception to this concept: It comes up once or twice in the base game(dbh), but I believe that an android can actually be briefly re-activated post initial shutdown. By triggering a start-up sequence, re-connecting crucial power cords, or forcing the system to try to come online, the android will likely boot up for anywhere between a few seconds and one minute before shutting down again (due to previously mentioned injury or inability to stay functioning). This is hardly a productive state, however: the android will likely be panicked, desperate, and flooded with error messages that makes it difficult for them to function beyond basic comprehension, and the more times this state is triggered, the less likely it is that the android will be able to turn on at all unless fully repaired. It’s kind of like trying to boot up a laptop that’s out of battery— the lights will come on, blink a few times, the monitor may briefly light up, but then the system will realize it’s out of power and shut down again.

So while it’s possible to get information or answers out of a shut-down android, there are very few circumstances where it could be considered justifiable or productive to try booting them up only to put them through a few more seconds of suffering.
