I think the Dwampyverse on some level is kind of a family affair. It's so cute how much the creators families grew into it.

Like on a purely in universe standpoint we have all the characters who are named for IRL family members of Dan and Swampy. Isabella is named for Dan's older daughter, Lil' Sparks Melissa, Melissa Chase (and probably Tia Meli) are named for his younger daughter Melissa. Django and Jenny Brown are named for Swampy's kids (their last name Brown could have come from Swampy's grandfather). Linda and Tiana are named after Dan's sisters. Ferb is named after a friend of Dan and Swampy's and based off of Swampy's uncle. Adyson Sweetwater is based on Swampy's granddaughter. Ferb and Lawrence being British comes from the time Swampy spent in England. The fact Phineas and Ferb are step siblings also comes from Swampy's own childhood. The Grant-Gomez family is inspired by Dan and his wife and being a half-Venezuelan family. The large age gap in the Grant Gomez family (and likely between Jeremy and Suzy) is due to Dan's own large age gap with his sister. The premise of enjoying summer vacation came from his mom. Perry's double life is inspired by a cat Dan had.

But then out of universe, their IRL family is involved too. Django has voiced Balthazar Horowitz, some of Ferb's cousins, and Chad Van Coff among other minor characters. Meli voices Gretel of course, and Alex/Isa Povenmire sings "I'm the Bomb" along with doing temp voices. Not to mention Olivia Olson, daughter of Phineas and Ferb writer and Songwriter Martin Olson voiced Vanessa, sang a lot of other songs for the show, and Olivia is now writing for the Phineas and Ferb revival, so that's basically come full circle.

This was sort of inspired by Gretel, voiced by Meli Povenmire, quoting a memed Doofensmirtz line, who is voiced by her father Dan Povenmire. I don't think she was even born when Phineas and Ferb first came out. And now she and her sister are now teenagers, which Olivia was when she first got involved on Phineas and Ferb. And now Olivia's writing. That's kind of crazy.

I can't believe I got 2 Donnas for this game and neither were the MASH one haha. And yes I AM a Doctor Who fan but like with Twin Peaks I'm only a shallow fake one because I only feel really passionate about RTD era :( sowwy again. I'm 0 for 2 today. But at least I didn't skip MASH s1-3 AND I didn't skip the 9th Doctor AND I read Laura's diary + Dale Cooper's tapes. Donna Noble

I couldn’t handle Donna QwQ I couldn’t match her energy it’s very sad :( I feel like I would do the exact opposite of what the Doctor did for her in terms of bringing out her most amazing qualities. And I do really try to highlight and praise the qualities of people in my life!! I just don’t know if I could help her reach her full potential. Which sounds like one of those weird therapy-talk approaches to relationships but unfortunately sometimes when you really admire someone you actually do start thinking about things like “am I supporting her journey effectively” and all that. But this is just a date right so it can just be a casual thing. I feel like Donna is someone with whom I could straight up be like Hey so I was never socialized properly and your last relationship ended comically terribly so do you want to like try practicing dating with each other? I think it could be fun! And then eventually she could move on to find happiness with Mr. Temple :)

BJ Hunnicutt

BJ Hunnicutt is the human equivalent of Disneyland. Everybody in the entire nation is absolutely obsessively feral over it it’s sooo beautiful it’s sooo fun you just HAVE to experience it it’s a quintessential expression of the American dream blah blah blah. But I will never attend this overpriced (constantly borrowing money) and overcrowded (too much competition from the rest of Mashblr) theme park. I do not care for its fastpass system (willingness to cheat on his partner) or its uninspiring coaster design (anger issues), and I am further offended to hear of the constant introduction of cost-cutting measures that harm visitor experience (growth of mustache). Not even the prospect of purchasing a fully functioning Cogsworth clock (chance to join the Punnihawk polycule) is enough to tempt me. It’s not happening. I am going to Dollywood (Maxwell Klinger).

I want the same thing, so I know that such a lifelong, committed relationship should be with someone who finds themself more easily compatible with Max’s tastes and interests.  

On an unrelated note, Charles sure seemed to get super into baseball in War For All Seasons, huh? :) And we know he cares a lot about his clothes, as we see him hiring a personal tailor at least once! :) And he was surprisingly eager to get to share in Max’s hotdog delivery in The Grim Reaper, too! :) So many random fun facts in this world \^w^/

WIBTA if I told my dad how I feel about my stepmom?

I (18X) have had a bit of a strained relationship with my father (54M) for the last few years. Part of this is due to political differences, my father is very right wing, and I am not. Recently however, we've agreed to stop discussing politics as it just ends up upsetting both of us. The other thing that has been getting in the way of my father and I's relationship is my stepmom, Jenny (fake name obv).

For context, my father is a military veteran and suffers from severe PTSD. And when I say severe, I mean severe. He is also physically disabled, and Jenny helps him a lot with day to day life. I know they love each other, and my dad wouldn't be able to do nearly as much without her around. However, her and my dad's relationship was a bit of a sudden thing. My dad and I were very close (we hung out one-on-one whenever we were able), then Jenny came around and seemed almost glued to the hip with my father. My dad was constantly around her, and even when I asked for us to have time alone together, he either ignored the request or had Jenny there anyway.

Jenny and I have never really gotten along. We've had several fights over the years (one of which ended with her having a fight with my dad for being on my side of the argument, where she left home and stole my dad's dog before returning the next day), and I still somewhat resent her for taking away my time with my dad. She has also said that she never wanted kids, so I don't think she ever liked my siblings and I very much. My dad always seems to be on her side as well, after the aforementioned fight where she stole his dog, he accepted her back home seemingly without much of a fuss (despite being very sad/upset after the fight the night before). They fight more than the average couple as well IMO, but maybe that's just how they function as people (idk). I understand that she helps my father a lot, but it was a rough adjustment when she came around. I've had almost zero one-on-one time with my dad in the last five-ish years (and yes, I've asked for it, multiple times), so that combined with our political differences has led us to not speak for a good while.

Recently, my father reached out to me and asked to reconnect. He apologized for things he did in the past, and asked what he could do to make things better. I was mostly honest with him, except for everything I've said here about Jenny. I want to tell him how I feel, but I think I'd be TA if I said I really dislike his wife and main support system. I definitely think it'd be unfair to make him choose between me and her, as no matter how you slice it, he very likely will still need/want her around. If I ask my dad to hang out (again) without Jenny there though, I feel like that'd be inviting that question. Still, I cannot stand having to hang out with her, and don't want to meet with my dad if I know she will be there.

So: WIBTA if I told my dad how I feel about my stepmom?

Riven: The Thesis

TW: ALLUSIONS TO AND MENTIONS OF CHILD ABUSE

First things First

If you checked out my Fate rant, smth that truly pissed me off was how they made Riven just straight up unlikable, an ass and low-key a villain.

To me, Riven’s story was always one about how you can change for the better. That it’s okay to be a bit of a prick as a teen cause you’re just a teen and you still have time to grow and change.

So you can imagine my frustration when in the OG, Riven’s character arc was pretty much reset at the start of every season, especially when I feel that they did a great job at showing Riven’s introspection and his wish to change in s1, all for nothing.

And thus… my version of Riven was born.

I tried very hard in s1 to give him a hard shell and a few outbursts but still showing that he’s got a soft heart deep down and is really only lashing out due to how he’s always depended on only himself to survive. And I think I did a pretty good job at that if I do say so myself.

And post s1 we see Riven slowly learn to lower his guard and realize that he’s not on his own anymore. He has a few slip ups because obvs he’s not gonna magically be great at communication but he gets there eventually.

Shirley Holmes and Riven Watson

So, I think that, aside from Tecna, Riven was prob the one that benefited the most story-wise in the changes I made to his family.

Riven has pretty much no one. His dad is very abusive and never truly cared for him and his mom left when Riven was about eight years old, leaving him not only on his own, but to take care of his five year old sister, Shirley.

I gave Riven a little sister to give him even more reasons to have his guard up, because it’s not just his own back he has to watch out for, but he has a sister that depends on him. Shirley herself tells the squad that Riven pretty much raised her on his own.

I love writing these two, who only had each other growing up and are so very close. Up until the age of fifteen, Shirley only ever really trusts her brother.

I think that dynamic adds a lot to Riven’s character. Showing that he is a really caring and protective person, even in the worst of circumstances he always did his best to keep Shirley not only safe but also happy.

Nothing Good Starts in a Getaway Car

Yep, we’re talking bout Darcy.

In my version of events, it would not have made sense for Riven to ever trust Darcy out of nowhere, due to how high he has his guard and the fact that he’s not dumb.

How did I chose to solve this?

Well… Darcy and Riven were childhood friends and had planned to runaway together before Darcy betrayed him, took the money and ran. He knew her as Jennie, his best friend.

Riven only ever had her. Of course he’s got Shirley but… it’s different cause Shirley is his responsibility, while Jennie helped him steal and do whatever they had to do to survive.

Their relationship is def a tragic one due to the fact that they truly loved each other and had each others backs for so long and they were oh so very close to making it, to running together and starting a new life.

But then… Darcy meets the Trix and makes the choice of leaving Jennie behind, which included betraying Riven when they’re fourteen and so close to running.

This is obvs another reason why Riven is especially prickly when we meet him in s1, a betrayal like that was bound to make him even more angry at the world.

But again, Riven is incredibly protective and, once he loves someone, that means he’s also loyal to them, and Riven isn’t someone who stops loving easily. And so… he trusts Darcy. And it nearly costs him his life.

But this is also the thing that truly makes him realize that he doesn’t want to keep on like this. That he wants to change and let his friends in. That he wants to let go of his anger before it consumes him the way it did Jennie… Darcy.

You Don’t Have to be Sorry, for Leaving and Growing Up (Matilda is low-key a Riven song) 

A big thing for me about Riven, especially early on was, again, showing his softer side mainly through Flora, Shirley, Timmy and even Darcy.

His rougher side is on full display in his arguments with Sky.

At the end of s1, something happens that allows Riven to finally be safe enough to lower his guard and start growing, he moves in with his maternal grandparents along with Shirley. And, while it takes both of them a while to trust their grandparents, once they do, Riven can finally, finally, focus on himself for the first time in his life.

He develops a close relationship with his grandma, and starts doing some introspection (with help from Flora and Helia) and starts working on himself.

A big help in this is Musa, who also struggles a lot with letting herself be vulnerable.

Now, this journey of Riven’s is not smooth sailing because you can’t just snap your fingers and undo years of abuse and survival instincts, but he works hard on it and we can see that through his relationships.

Season 2 is Riven learning to be vulnerable and fully trusting his friends. His nicknames are kinda a way to let the squad know how important they are to him, he allows himself to be more goofy and more relaxed and comfortable in his own skin.

He struggles the most with Musa due to the fact that, before a relationship, there is a friendship. He and Musa find themselves being vulnerable with one another, which is huge for the two of them. But as they grow closer, Riven is reminded of his relationship with Darcy and finds himself pulling away.

He eventually makes this right but it was very important for me to have him stumble a bit in his relationship with Musa at least at the beginning cause my boy has Darcy PTSD kay? And that was not going to go smoothly if we’re realistic.

Season 3 was for Riven fully coming into his own, embracing what little magic he has (which he never did before cause he got his magic from his father that he hates so yeah…) and just fully getting a good grade in communication something that is both possible to achieve and normal to want.

In season 3 it’s mainly Musa who struggles with communication, which makes them both struggle but they work through it, this time as a couple. Wooooo. Hoorah for two traumatized kids learning how to communicate in a healthy way!

Thoughts Behind his Main Relationships

Helia

These boys are two sides of the same coin.

They both have had anger issues and, surprisingly enough, Helia was a lot more violent than Riven ever was since Riven had a better hold on his anger due to facing major consequences (*cough* *cough* his dad *cough* *cough*) but they bond over trying to better themselves.

Riven learns to meditate with Helia and occasionally even paints with him. Helia learns to fix stuff with Riven and they both love the routine that comes with being Specialists second only to Brandon so they often do work-outs and bets with each other.

Their friendship is one of very different yet similar lives. They get each other in a: we’ve both come face to face with the darkest versions of ourselves and came out on top, we’ve both hit rock bottom and we’re both working on figuring out how to be better.

They’re both very aware of their darker emotions but never judge the other for it. They both have nightmares regarding their pasts and they can open up because they know that they get one another.

Riven trusts Helia surprisingly quickly, seeing himself in the Wizard. The two can trust each other with their past and their shame, knowing they will only get full support from the other.

Musa

I always loved the idea of Rivusa but hated the original execution.

I really like the idea of two kids who have been so hurt by the people that were meant to protect them figuring out how to love each other. How to be open and trusting and just how to work as a couple.

Riven and Musa fall very slowly over the course of a year and a half, they get to know each other, be friends, quite crucially: they’re able to be vulnerable with each other. Which is huge for both of them.

And, when they realize that these feelings are serious and more than just a crush, they are both terrified.

I talk a bit more about Musa’s feelings on her thesis but for Riven, he’s terrified of being betrayed yet again. Of giving his heart just to have it shattered.

He’s also very afraid of Musa not wanting him if she learns more about his past and all the things he did to stay alive.

The part I love about this is that this means that even after they get together we get to see them fuck up. Because just because they’re together doesn’t mean they’re just going to forget years of trauma and having their walls up.

And, in my version, once they’re together, it’s Musa who fucks up by keeping secrets and not being able to bring herself to be vulnerable.

I think my fave part about writing these two is writing about how they grow together both as individuals and as a couple, how they learn to communicate and be vulnerable and realize that they are both here to stay and that this relationship is soft and safe and everything that they have been denied for so long.

That’s what this couple is to me. Two kids learning to love and not be afraid of it.

Flora

Riven and Flora are soulmates. I have no other word to describe their bond. Even soulmates doesn’t feel like it can fully encompass their bond and how important they are to one another.

They have similar fears and traumas, though they respond in wildly different ways. He can’t let himself be vulnerable, she can’t stand her ground. But they find each other and somehow, they start healing and growing together

Their bond is ‘there are people that you just have to meet in order to become the best version of yourself and I know that if I hadn’t met you I would never have been able to become my best self. There are people that just have something to teach you just by knowing them, there are people that love you so purely that you can do nothing but want to grow with them and teach each other so much just by existing together. And you know that if there are other lives, you’ve met them in every past life and will meet them in every future life because you own a piece of each others puzzles that you both need to complete yourselves.’

Their love is absolutely pure, I just love it and can’t quite find the words to describe just how special it is.

Who is Riven in this Rewrite?

Riven’s arc is one that I just have really loved to write. The story of an abused, angry boy that struggled to survive finally being safe and getting to work on himself and let go of that anger.

Riven is someone who has had to look out for himself his whole life, who always been pretty much on his own, the only people he trusted stabbing him in the back.

What is most important to me is that Riven is someone who refuses to let his past define him.

He gets the chance to go to Red Fountain after jumping and trying to rob one of the teachers (James) but, when he gets that chance, he decides to make the most of it, to make a good life for both himself and for his sister.

At his very core, the most important part of Riven’s character is that he is first and foremost, a protector.

He’s the big brother who took beatings to keep his baby sister safe. He stole for his sister and for Darcy to keep them both fed. He’s the boy who, before s1 even started made a friendship with Timmy and dared anyone to make fun of him.

He would do anything for his friends, for Helia, for Flora, for Musa and of course, for Shirley. Because once he gives even a small piece of his heart to someone, they have it for good. For better or for worse.

Riven is a boy growing into an amazing young man against all odds. He’s a boy who took the cards he was dealt with and made a royal flush.

Riven is someone who chose to let go of his anger and grow. He’s someone who decided to become someone he could be proud of.

8. headcanons for charles

he's a huge queen fan. you're telling me this guy was half-indian, bisexual (even if he probably wasn't aware of it) and grew up in 80s england and WASN'T obsessed with freddie mercury? wrong. eventually they get a radio in the office and whenever bohemian rhapsody comes on he tries to sing all the parts, much to edwin's confusion and amusement

he really missed going to concerts after he died but barely ever went to any because it wasn't the same going alone and he knew edwin wouldn't enjoy it, but once crystal joins the agency they go ALL the time it's their favourite thing to do. charles loves not having to pay for tickets anymore lmao

he tells dumb dad jokes all the time. he's only managed to make edwin really laugh twice but he'll be damned if he doesn't keep trying

as well as his parents, he often checks in on the kid he died to save too. he never regretted his decision for a second, but seeing him happily married with kids makes it all worth it

him and jenny quickly become friends. idk i just think they'd get along. she'd think he was an annoying little shit sometimes but like... affectionately <3

21. something in the show that made you happy

like...all of it. boring answer but it's true

i mean there are specific things, mostly the characters. they're all so distinct and individual and cool?? especially the female characters, i love that they're allowed to be a bit fucked up but still loveable and not villains (except esther and maxine obvs)

also so many people have said it but the way it handles queerness not like it's something other. like edwin still manages to have his realisation and coming out arc without it feeling like that's the only aspect of his character? i love queer shows that are like screaming gay in ur face (like heartstopper) but idk just the way it's so casual, and the way there's no labels or anything? like it's not a big deal or a shock that jenny's secret admirer's a woman, and charles's reaction to both edwin's coming out and his confession is so calm, like obviously it's a big deal but he's so chill, there's no jokes made or anything it's just pure love and support and i love that so much

and that's not even getting into how much i love the visual style of the whole thing

but yeah, the entire show made me happy. it also made me sob several times but that's all part of it. i love shows that make me cry.

Niki was your brothers best friend. He was also your neighbour of 6 yrs, upon moving to this neighbourhood, Jake and him quickly became friends and you often saw him at your house or at his if Jake brought you along.

On one of your days off from work and school, he came over with 2 boxes of pizza because Jake had invited him over for video games and a movie. You opened the door because Jake was too busy tackling Sunghoon who beat him in Mario kart for the 5th time. Niki couldn't help but spark an interest in you since the first time he met u. Dare I say, he liked you.

"Hi Niki" You greeted.

"Hey _____, how are u pretty?" He said looking down at you.

Your heart flips at the nickname, it wasn't unusual for Niki to give you nicknames but all of them were jokes and silly names (eg: shorty, armrest, gnome, Santa's elf etc)

"I-" You were abruptly cut off by Jake pushing past you to hug the taller boy and welcoming him in, grabbing the pizza from him.

You and Jake were very close, thats why he always protected you and indulged your reckless behaviour. Jake loved you more than anything and knowing Niki, he knew the younger boy wouldnt treat you badly, ever.

Jake knew Niki's feelings for you and he didn't disapprove of the idea of you two dating.

Rolling your eyes, you locked the door and went into the living room where Jake and all of his friends played games and drank soda. As you normally do, you grabbed a slice of pizza and a can of coke and left for your room.

Niki was staring at you as u walked away, smirking to himself.

A few hours passed and you quickly got bored of your room, of course, you decided to go annoy your brother.

Walking into the living room and winking at Sunghoon to signal your plan, he quickly moved over to the single lounge chair leaving space for you to sit between Niki and Jake.

Jake caught on and asked Sunghoon why he moved.

"It's more comfortable here plus your massive arm isn't digging into my stomach when I get close to winning" Sunghoon joked.

Jake chuckled not minding that you sat between him and Niki as it was normal for when you got bored. Niki, however, gulped loudly when he saw how close in proximity you were to him.

You watched the boys play and laughed at some of their jokes but evidently got bored again only this time, you had jake to annoy. You waited until he was close to winning when you reached over your legs to the coffee table, pretending to get your coke and pushed into him gently when going backwards. Not too hard but hard enough to knock his hand out of place, both Niki and Sunghoon getting to the finish line before him.

"_____!!" He shouted right as Sunghoon started dancing in victory and Niki laughed clapping his hands.

"Sorry!" You weren't sorry. "I was getting the can but you were too close to me so I nudged into you!"

"Cmon Jake don't be a sore loser" Sunghoon said sitting down and patting niki on the back as a well done.

Jake grumbled under his breath and started the next game. Video games weren't really your thing so you went into the kitchen for a snack since they ate all the food already. Noticing the fridge and cupboards were empty, you went to ask Jake for money to go do some food shopping.

"Jake, can I have like 20 bucks" without even asking you what you needed he just threw a £20 note at you. "Thanks"

Niki couldn't help but smile when you guys made eye contact and you shyyed away.

You left the house locking the door and finding your car in the driveway.

Jake waited until he could hear your car engine start to speak up.

"So, Niki, what happened to that girl you were dating? Jenny was it? Janice?" He said curious to know more qbout the boy's love life..

"She broke up with me a few months ago because her parents didn't approve."

Jake just hummed, nodding at his response.

It got quiet for a moment until Sunghoon spoke up.

"Niki do you think you will start dating again anytime soon?"

"I've thought about that and I think I won't jump to the first girl who asks me out, this time, I'll wait for the right girl."

Sunghoon nodded "Do you have anyone in mind?"

"Yeah, but you guys aren't ready for it."

"Oh come on, tell-"

The sounds of the door opening and closing interrupted sunghoon as you entered and waved the packet of crisps in the air. All 3 men began cheering as you threw it at Jake and it hit him straight in the head causing you and the 2 older boys to laugh as Jake held his head in his hands. You ran to your room as Jake ran after you. Holding the door and locking it in Jake's face. He was banging on it and yelling at you to open it. Eventually, he stopped and went back to the living room. Although, he wasn't going to give up that easily. He sent Niki to talk to you and get you to open the door, Niki obviously didn't decline because it was alone time with you.

"_____? It's me Niki. Open the door I'm not gonna let Jake in."

"You promise?" You asked making his heart swell with adoration.

"Yes I promise."

Unlocking the door and creaking it open slightly just to peak out and make eye contact with Niki. He smiled warmly and you opened the door enough for him to walk in, eyeing the hallway cautiously. Making him laugh and pull you into the room, fully locking the door.

He felt a surge of confidence from being alone in a room with you and as you turned around he crept behind you and pinned you against the door.

"Nik-!" You yelled and he hurried to cover your mouth for fear of Jake thinking you were in danger and breaking the door down.

"I'll move my hand, but don't shout, please"

After calming down, you nodded quickly and he moved his hand slowly resting it on your shoulder. He sighed thankful that you didn't shout, and grabbed your waist, hugging you.

"What are u doing?" You whisper-yelled into his bicep.

"I don't know, but if you want me to stop, just say so."

After getting no response, he scoffed lightly and pulled away to look at you. The look in your eye made a light pink hue fall on his cheeks as he smiled.

"_____..."

"Yeah?" You answered softly.

"Can I kiss you?" He was desperate to, but he wanted to make sure he could.

Instead of answering him, you wrapped ur hands around his neck and pulled him down to kiss him. It happened too quick for Niki, as he felt his face grow hot and his hands exploring your small back, kissing you deeply.

Oh, how badly you've wanted to kiss him since year 8 (9th grade) but never wanting to break the bond you and him had. You could kiss him forever but the sound of Jake laughing loudly from the living room startled you, causing you to break away from Niki and open the door quietly. Gesturing him to the kitchen where you both waited for something to happen, the sound of Jake's voice broke the silence.

"_____? You okay, it's been a while."

"Yeah, I'm alright." You answered back.

You and Niki crept to the doorway, Niki hiding behind the wall, reassuring you that Jake couldn't see him. Jake and Sunghoon walked over to see you by urself.

"She's okay dude" Sunghoon said annoyed.

Jake sighed lightly. "I know, had to make sure though."

You smiled softly at them and look in Niki's direction, only to see him smirking at you and lifting his eyebrow at you.

i was gonna type up a longer post but i think a lot of season three is just gonna sit weird with me because i don’t get buffy and angel. i feel like buffy being okay with being with angel would make sense if i felt sold on them in season two, but so much of what was happening there was just unflinching misery and questionable communication skills, and while they had moments, they weren’t moments enough for me personally. so i’m looking at buffy taking him back in season three and i’m like. you have to just really enjoy buffy and angel together, and you also have to not care about giles and jenny even half as much as buffy and angel, for any of this to land in a way that feels even remotely okay. and obviously i am not the target demographic.

I don’t read fanfics very often at all so my answer prob sucks, but I did read one where he was kind of a deadbeat dad towards Misto and woah. That raised my eyebrows. Why would he do that :(

Other than that very specific scenario, I don’t like it when people just don’t write him working on the train. Like living on that train is his entire personality. I don’t think he’s been squatting in the junkyard his entire life and has never decided to leave it like some authors say. Bestie has to contribute to society. But that’s a me thing idm what you do as long as the words are yummy to read

omg okay so she’s perfect, i love her.

the poor woman’s just trying to get through her days living her legacy job in the same town she grew up in, bemoaning the fact that there are no hot, available women anywhere around, and then the next thing she knows she’s somehow adopted two teenage girls with mommy issues

two teenage girls who just apparently don’t go to school or have friends and just show up in town alone like that’s a normal thing to happen what the fuck

so she takes them in. she gives them a safe place. she will make sure they are protected and have someone to talk to even if she has to grit her teeth through every part of it.

she just wants to sell meat to the same people she’s seen every day her whole life but no instead there are kids here with trauma and she sure as shit isn’t going to let them deal with all that alone.

and then it turns out that’s not even the worst of it.

Jenny spending some quality time with pokemon!!

Renny appreciates quality time the most along with acts of service and receiving gifts. Renny likes to give Jack a ton of random stuff like handmade trinkets, drawings or just snacks she bought for him. ❤

Jack likes quality time and words of affirmation (which Renny does... In her own way.) Jack like to help Renny with a lot of things (acts of service). Like obvs the cursed bookshelf, running errands for her, all that.

Jack is. As much as he doesn't think he is, his honesty becomes really comforting. He's such a good listener too and will never judge Renny. When she's in need of comfort, Jack not only gives her all his attention, but his body too. He'll let her lean on him, hold him, or he can hold her! He's honestly like a big teddy bear(wolf).
