"Did you get hit?" Hotch asks, eyes focused on the space between your lip and your nose. The bridge of your nose wrinkles slightly as he presses the tissue gently into your nostril, wedging it tightly so that the blood can't escape again.

"No," You want to shake your head, but Hotch is holding it, so you can only speak. Your voice is weak, and muffled slightly by the press of the tissue against your lip.

"Do you usually get nosebleeds?" He presses, brows furrowing.

"No." You repeat, "Uh, maybe just- just adrenaline. Or something."

"Alright," Hotch nods, withdrawing the tissue from your face. It's stained crimson and it leaves a miniscule stain on his hand, something you'll be embarrassed about until the end of time. He hands it off to you and you stuff it back over your face, desperate to hide your flustered expression.

"Thank you, sir." You speak, voice nasally from the tissue obstruction.

He nods, tilting his head sideways towards the ambulance on duty, "I think we should get you checked out. Just in case, I know you said it wasn't an injury. But it's hard remembering what happened after the fact, and I'd rather be safe than sorry."

"Um- okay." You agree, easier than you normally would. You're fine, you know you are, but Hotch just had his hands all over your face, so you might be on the verge of a heart attack, and medical attention when it happens would be ideal.

"Come on," He starts walking when you don't, his large hand against the small of your back to urge you forwards. Your feet crunch against twigs, leaves, and dirt alike, but you can't worry about getting them dirty, not when Hotch is guiding you to an ambulance after cupping your cheek.

You're in a haze when you step up to the ambulance, and Hotch answers for you when the EMT raises his eyebrows expectantly at you.

"Agent Y/L/N has a nosebleed." Hotch informs him, nudging you forward still with his large hand, "I just want to make sure they're okay."

"Alright, let's check that out," The EMT nods, leading you over to perch against the open bed of the van, "Agent, are you feeling faint?"

Yes.

"No," You shake your head, moving more freely as you walk away from Hotch, "Um, I'm alright."

Two gloved fingers press into your neck and the EMT's face twists into a frown, "Your heart is beating very fast."

"Adrenaline." You blurt, seeing Hotch's face darken in a concerned frown from where he's listening in. It makes things worse, and you have to look away from him to lie to the EMT, "From- uh, the chase."

The EMT"s face stays pinched in a frown for a moment, but he studies your heaving chest, faraway gaze, and shaky hands, ultimately deciding that you're right.

"I think that's a safe bet. But keep an eye on that nose, if it starts swelling you should get it checked out."

"Will do, thank you." Hotch speaks for you once again, stepping in to walk you towards the SUVs. You're sure he's only being kind, that he's worried about your hazy demeanor, but he's only making it worse.

"I want you to sit down," He orders, but it doesn't feel like one because it's so kind. He offers you the front seat of his car, and you're sure you'll get a teasingly scathing remark from Morgan about it later.

Hotch reaches across you to snag a water bottle from the center console of the car, and you think your breath might never return to your lungs. Maybe you really do need an ambulance, especially when he holds the half-empty bottle out to you.

"I want you to drink this," He watches you take it with shaky hands, "All of it. And we'll get you more back at the precinct. Y/N," He ducks his head slightly to meet your eyes, "Are you sure you're alright?"

Your heart is hammering in your chest, your head is foggy and your ears are ringing with voices telling you to just kiss him already. But you nod instead, raising the bottle to your lips the second after you speak so that you don't have to say more, "Yeah, Hotch. I'm good."

at first the notion of meeting gojo's niece has him annoyed. gojo satoru was more than enough gojo for him. he didn't have any interest in meeting another brat with more power than she knew what to do with.

until one afternoon when he was approaching the vending machine, smoothing his dollar out over his palm. there was someone already there.

he must've stood there too long, because suddenly she looks over at him, a beam on her face.

"hey," she greets, standing up from her crouched position in front of the row of sweets. "you can go, i haven't decided what i want yet"

she steps away, offering him the vending machine all for himself. megumi doesn't say anything as he puts his dollar in and presses in the code without checking what item he was ordering. he'd done this every day for two years now, he didn't need to double check to make sure it was just the right juice to appease his craving.

"wow, confident," the girl chuckles beside him. "you're a regular, huh?"

"uh, something like that" megumi mumbles as he grabs his drink from under the hatch.

"i'm not so decisive," she admits, a bit bashfully. "what would you recommend?"

"i like this one," he shows her the bottle he'd just bought, holding it out for her to read. "but it's not very sweet, if you'd prefer sweet, i'd go for the strawberry"

she smiles at him, nodding, appreciating his help.

"thanks!" she cheers, before putting her money in the machine and punching in the code for the strawberry drink.

he chuckles, a bit amused by how seriously she took her drink selection. stupidly, a part of him hopes that she likes it, and he hadn't just made her order something that wasn't to her tastes.

but she happily produces her can, popping the top open and taking a long drink.

"it's great. you've got a good eye," she says. "or, tongue" she corrects, laughing to herself.

megumi flusters.

"thanks" he mumbles back, staring down at the ground.

"what year are you?" she asks him suddenly.

"one," he replies.

she's greatly entertained by his short way of speaking, and even more so learning he's her age.

"i'm megumi" he adds after a pause.

"(y/n)," she introduces herself, sticking out her free hand. he doesn't hesitate to shake it, because he's polite like that. "i have to go meet with somebody, but do you wanna show me around later, megumi?"

his eyes widen for a minute. was this flirting? was she flirting with him?? he had no way of knowing, he doesn't think anyone's ever flirted with him before.

"okay" he answers.

"Party at mine, tonight" Stephen announces as he walks into the living room. All of you were hanging out (meaning scrolling through your phones and talk shit). Of course Ben and Anakin were in attendance, your friend froup was small but not too small. In addition of you, Ben and Ani, Taylor and Gracie (your besties), and of course Ethan and Stephen. You, tay and grace have been inseparable since you could remember. Ethan and Stephen came into your lives later (through Ben's college experience).

Anyway, Stephen continues to provide you the info for the party. "It's gonna be so cool, dark lighting, scary but hot costumes"

"Costumes?" Gracie interrupts

"Costumes. For you girls, I would recommend a pirate or a slutty nurse!" he advises. You hear Anakin's chuckle across the room. You roll your eyes at him, "speak, ass" you push him to continue.

Alright where to begin………. You see, it all started back in the year of our Lord 2014. The comic was just starting…. characters were still being introduced… And nobody knew Tuuri was gonna die lol! In the earliest chapters, Emil and Tuuri carried a decent portion of the MC dialogue since Lalli is so introverted and knew no Swedish. So I got attached to the idea of them being a couple fairly quickly. And I wasnt the only one!!!! lol!!

I mean like, Tuuri was literally enamored with the idea of Emil since day one when she heard about him so 😂 Im not completely insane. (He's not as tall as she wanted but yknow, love conquers all.) And of course Emil tries to impress everyone, but the fact that after he's only known this girl for one day, he pulls this kind of shenanigans in front of her/??? It speaks to me. (Something something, being comfortable to show your true self to someone)

ALSO!! If you got the book 1 you know theres a bonus comic thats not published online where Tuuri drags Emil into a bakery and theres a couple nuggets of cuteness in there I waaaaaaaa

Basically a lot of this ship for me is (literally unattainable) Potential.

You have Emil, who's kinda a jerk on the surface but that layer is very superficial and underneath is a wholesome, caring guy. And then you have Tuuri, who is very happy and friendly on the surface, but underneath can be kinda conniving and sour. Tuuri beats around the bush, while Emil is often straight to the point. So they keep balancing each other out, and I kinda love that. Also she's the mechanic and he's the pyro: they're the Gasoline Duo! lol If Tuuri had lived and they were given a couple more years to cook, with Emil maturing more, I think they could've been a good couple. (Emil is already so different by the end of the story). They're not perfect of course (every relationship has its pros and cons) but their dynamic is interesting to me.

at first yeonjun was pretty...cold, he wouldn't talk much. most you ever heard him speaking was arguing with beomgyu about their looks.. soon enough, he warmed up, but still remained so mysterious to you, and you liked it. you eventually realized you may have caught feelings, and you still dont get it. i mean, he just stands and stares at a river, how do i like someone i dont even share interest with?

thats what you were thinking about right now, about how to dive in more into this boy's soul, while hanging out alone with him. both of you quite frequently did this, and it was fun. you talked about random things, trying to understand each other.

''then let me know you'' he spoke as he stepped closer, leaning towards you, just enough to make you feel flustered, he knew what you had in your heart, he just wanted you to say it.

you, on the other hand, were too shocked to respond, until you heard a voice

''i wanna know you too, y/n!!!'' ''beomgyu! shut up! they heard us!''

and out came beomgyu and yunjin, bickering along the way before sheepishly smiling. yeonjun stepped back in annoyance and rolled his eyes ''what are you two doing here!''

''hey, relax, we had reasons. it was beomgyu's fault. but, i guess you two can continue, just pretend we're not here, and we'll pretend we didn't see you, easy'' yunjin replied.

yeonjun looked back at you, slightly smirking and leaning forward again ''what do you say we pick up where we left off?''

Question for the qsmp community. If I wrote a modern au that had background/implied qphil/qwilbur where they are both adults and definitely not related would people be normal. Or would everyone immediately hate it bc of the ship. I wanna make it clear im not trying to get attention for a potential fic i just want to know if you guys think i would get death threats.

That's an interesting question, and I welcome other people weighing in on that! I think I have definitely seen fics float by that have implied background qphil/qwilbur, and I don't recall the authors getting hate in their notes. Your milage may vary, but I've seen people do it and be fine. Note that these were e-rated fics however so people were already a bit more ready to be freaky, you might find more pushback if you're writing something teen-rated?

But the familial relationship on QSMP is much less firmly defined than it was on DSMP, and frankly a fair bit of the sandduo interactions are kind of uncomfortable to interpret as being between a father son duo, so when it comes to things people are doing with ships, saying "actually they're not related and wilbur's extended sexual discussions with someone he wants to approve of him are /sex" is not the craziest ship out there.

If you were doing main focus philbur I would say be prepped for hate comments or people telling you to add warning tags— I did once see someone with a "they're not related" tag with someone in their notes arguing with them that they should tag it for incest or pseudo-incest, even though best as I could tell that wasn't a feature of the work at all, it was an au where they were like, unrelated coworkers. But just as a background ship, honestly most people are not reading that closely.

My general guess would be that you'd be fine if it was e-rated, you're not gonna get more blowback than you would for smut for any other english-speaking streamer. It's a bit more dicey if you're wandering into the wilds of the t-rated and m-rated fics.

I would recommend starting out in the Anon collection if you're unsure, I have literally done the research and people will still happily read anon fics. It just won't be traceable back to you if someone decides they hate the author of this HORRIBLE fic where the cubitos do (less than they've done on screen in sorry boy videos now).

Anyways I'm very sleepy so if someone else has opinions, feel free to weigh in! I am just someone who browses in the tag sometimes, I don't have a lot of experience with posting QSMP fic. Tell anon your thoughts if you will.

I’m 5’3 with a hourglass build but I’m always a little self conscious about my chest bc it seems to draw a lot of attention, sometimes unwanted. Other than that, I’m pretty confident though most would say I’m pretty quiet unless I’m totally warmed up to someone. I'm here to ask a question about LoZ. so, I have a friend who plays and recommended it to me because she knows I love open world games and breath of the wild is (apparently) one of the best open world games ever and I've been hesitating ever since. she might be a little biased tho lol

and like. there's a sale going on right now for botw, so the recommendation just kind made itself known in my memory again

anyway so, basically I'm here to ask if it'll be worth it? I mean, the general consensus wherever I go seems to be 'amazing, go get it u won't regret it'

I think it's obvious by now that I am a //massive// Zelda fan so tbh I'm likely no less bias than your friend lmfao, but that being said I'm going to try and give as balanced a response as possible!

Pros

BotW is beautiful, and I mean b e a u t i f u l . The graphics have this lovely watercolour quality to them as an ode to the artstyle used in Skyward Sword, but more crisp & refined. Unlike a lot of the big open world games (looking at you skyrim) BotW doesn't sacrifice colour or try to be "gritty", but rather leans into that soft-apocalypse, studio ghibli vibe.

The narrative is equally lovely and fulfilling, and depending upon what order you collect Link's memories in you will likely have a different gameplay experience. You'll also meet a lovable cast of characters to whom you'll end up unreasonably attached, which will ultimately break your heart in the end,,, I apologise in advance, but I promise you it's worth the pain.

On that note, do it for my bitch-ass bird son. You'll know him when you meet him.

Link can jump. This will mean very little to you if you've not played a LoZ game before, but my boy can fucking JUMP.

You can also climb pretty much everything (bar like one specific material) which means if you want to get to that Cool Thing Over There, then with a mix of mix of ungodly arrogance, sheer willpower, and a lot of stamina potions, you can. If you suffer from the magpie brain (ie. you see a new shiny thing and become immediately sidetracked from your original objective) this will mean that you take about 10x as long as you should to do literally anything, but my god is it fun.

The soundtrack gives me feelings that I cannot put into words, and the voice acting is //phenomenal//. Importantly, Link himself does not have a voice actor which is the only correct choice considering he's been heavily implied throughout the entire LoZ franchise to be an elective mute, and I would have //hated// hearing him speak.

Link is also just a very sweet & funny golden retriever boy who occasionally sasses back like nobody's business. 10/10 protagonist.

If you like women, you will like them even more by the end. If you don't like women, there's a 90% chance you'll seriously reconsider it upon meeting [REDACTED].

The game has something for everyone: you like exploring? Well you're going to do a lot of that. You like collectables? There are so many outfits (that you can dye to your liking!) and a wholeass compendium to fill out. You like puzzles? You'll certainly find your fair share. You like combat? The basic mechanics are what you'd expect with there are enough different enemy types to keep it interesting, but dO NOT FIGHT A LYNEL WITHOUT MAKING SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH WEAPONS BC THEY WILL BREAK AND LEAVE YOU WITH A VERY ANGRY VERY MEAN MAN TRYING TO KILL YOU.

It is genuinely very good value for money, and even more so if you can get it on sale! Not only do you have the mainline game & all its side-quests, but there's also the expansion pass, and, of course, an entire sequel just ready and waiting!

Cons

Sometimes the open world can feel a little too open. Considering the game's context, it makes sense, but comparatively games like Skyrim feel more densely packed with Things To Do, whereas BotW has several areas of overgrown nothingness that are lovely to look at, but not especially interesting (though this is better rectified in TotK).

You can't swim underwater. This was not rectified in TotK, though I dearly wish it had been.

A lot of fans used to complain about the temple format of p much every Zelda game up until this point, so the developers essentially removed temples altogether and instead replaced them with only four (technically optional) Divine Beasts, plus Hyrule Castle itself. I... did not like this. I'm a big puzzle girlie, and though BotW has shrines scattered across the landscape—most of which are puzzle-based—I personally felt that this substitute was lacking in comparison to the original. TotK does improve on this by reintroducing temples, but I still could have gone for a few more (Skyward Sword was the opposite of this, with very linear gameplay which a lot of people hated, but I personally will stand by SS's Ancient Cistern until my dying breath, and Twilight Princess had some really innovative temples that I have replayed several times over).

On a semi-adjacent note, the final boss just... wasn't my favourite. That's not to say it was bad, only as boss fights go I've had better (I did, however, like the final segment of that fight).

You will develop an immediate fear response to the Guardian music.

Ultimately though, I absolutely do think you should buy it, and am jealous that you'll get to have that bright-eyed bushy-tailed first-time experience, because believe me, if I could erase my memories and play BotW all over again, I would.

Definitely! It depends on what you are looking for, so here's a few of my faves in a couple different categories:

For Jeller, everything by @indelibleevidence is outstanding. I'm gonna start out saying probably a majority of it has passages that are NSFW so if you're a minor or not into that, tread lightly. I'm currently revisiting Remember to Forgive, which has late-season 3 Weller suffering amnesia that takes him mentally back to early season 2; you know, when he couldn't stand to be in the same room as his wife. The angst! It's a fave and totally my jam, I could probably quote it. Torture Without You is... well. Read it. Amazing. I'm a big Remi fan, and here you will also find one of our two Reller champions: the Damaged Goods series is so dark (also very NSFW) but soooo good.

@idealisticrealism is another that everyone should definitely read, imo. The Fire is basically my favorite one-shot ever, and she's our other Reller champion - as complete AUs go I can not possibly overstate my love for From the Ashes and Into Flames. I could literally quote them both to you.

@gypsyscarfwoman is responsible for my other favorite one-shot, Nothing Can Come Between Us, which is Jeller after season 2, but from Sarah Weller's POV. It's just a tiny bit angsty but fluffy and sweet. I love the way she describes the interactions between Jeller as viewed by a concerned third party. There's also Shelter From Your Storm, which is another season 2 AU except that post compound raid there's legitimate concern Nas might throw Jane under the bus and let the CIA have her, so Weller fake marries her to legitimize and protect her.

@ladyriot recently did a lovely retelling of s2 but as a Jane/Patterson slow burn. The way they low key agonize over each other is tragic, but the ending is so sweet without being completely saccharine, and it's definitely worth a look.

I haven't read much Zapatterson but @narvaldetierra is actively writing them. I read Remembers from September and No Good Deed Goes Unpunished a while ago, and I'm excited to reread them soon and then keep working through this ship 😁

Dylan Cruca is worth checking out if you want a bit of season 2/3 Jeller canon divergence/extra scenes, or Jeller/Reller AUs - I thought their post-season 1 AU ended up being a particularly interesting twist - but they're not for everyone.

I could go on but I'll end with one that's basically the fic equivalent to a playlist of Sad Songs to Sob To: Silence Speaks by lochness20, in which Jane's black site escape attempt fails, and when they find her, she is in a REALLY bad state. Warning that it's pretty dark and brutal and tw for suicidal thoughts and an eventual very graphic murder.

I don't really look for specific tags; it's not a huge fandom so there's not a ton of room to be choosy. I can say that straight whump isn't my thing, nor is pure domestic stuff, and I generally steer clear of pregnancy/kidfic unless there's some other compelling plot alongside the kids. I guess I basically love angst most of all 😍

Haha, yes, I think paradise lost is just one of those movies that jumped on the wandagon about whatever was popular.

I mean, it's understandable you thought that bc Rafa is insane. He's just amazing at playing him, even the accent. Tbh, my guesses were Vive por mí, bc even if it's a meaningful movie and everything, something doesn't sit right with me about it ????? like the vibes aren't right lol... And the other one, for me, is probably Semana Santa bc if I'm remembering this correctly, the director was an asshole to him. If not, I'd throw dark forces there or even Las aparicio (I love juan but I felt like he was acting the hell out of it and the girlies were 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️except ana de la reguera lol). And from what I remember (don't take this word by word bc I heard this podcast a few months ago) he said he was dissapointed bc he felt like the work ethic wasn't right, like no one was pouring themselves into the movie and it felt poor.

Okay so, the first time I see Tenoch ever is as Rafa. And then I see him directly as Namor. Nothing in between. I didn't even know how the real life Tenoch looked like which might have been a reason. And the green shorts were VERY distracting 😂 but I think it was the fact that his expressions and face itself looked so different between the two roles to me.

You definitely know more than me about the context behind the movies! So idk about vive por mi- I remember he said he signed up for it because he felt for the organ transplant angle- because his corneal transplant was also possible due to a donor. But yeah, that movie was.. interesting..I may or may not have been watching it for the plot 👀🫣 (damn this man and his scenes in every single show/movie)

I am shocked to know Semana Santa was the movie where the director was an asshole to him 😭coz it was one of my favorites. Him, all the characters, the story was very touching for me. Now if I were to make a guess with you Nonnie, I would place my bets on Las Aparicio. The plot was well..what do I even say. And I feel like he was oversexualized and fetishized as a brown man, which made me uncomfortable. Like there's no depth to his character except for fulfilling the fantasies of those girls. I love Ana De La Reguera and him. They give very husband-wife kind of vibes. She has a sense of maturity and depth that matches him. Absolutely loved them in the Forever Purge together.

Him and Ana Brenda Contreras in Blue Demon were also a favorite pairing for me. Guess he pairs well with Anas. 🤭
