prolly mentioned begore but ive been readin frankensteinfor class and me n this girl were bonding about how fucking depressing adams story wasi was reading his chapters feeling like pure shit writing down all his hardest quotes

#ooohhh but there was this other girl in my class who was like ohhh hes soscary and menacing insert sanism here #because the GUY who NARRATED the AUDIOBOOK didnt read his lines with enough emotion #thats not the characters fault !!!!!!!! whos to say that was shelleys intention !!!!! not you !!!!!!#i simply cannot jive with anyone who doesnt see the inherent victimhood and tragedy of adam (sorry i dont like ccalling him creature)#listen i fucking love nameless main characters.#but as someone reading and describing the book i feel like he deserves to have one at the very least #yknow?#i feel like he deserves more than to be constantly referred to through his relation to victor or his inhumanity
