Honestly... I just can't believe that artists don't have a knack to start with. Because I've always had a knack for anything I'm good at, like math. I never really had to put effort into learning math. And even the things that I'm good at that did take effort I still had a knack at the beginning. I'm not trying to downplay artists' effort, I know it does take effort, but I don't think you can just start from 0. Or at least, I can't. So I'm not making that conclusion just on other people's art but also in other things I'm good at.

By the way, I'm not the person who sent the "life is unfair" ask, but I was already feeling negative and saw Struda's response and I reacted even worse.

My life's going pretty well all things considered, and I'm going to a good college to study some STEM related stuff. In the background I've struggled with this desire to be creative, though, and I'm trying to stifle that desire but it's not working, and no one really seems to have tutorials on how to get rid of that desire. I have a therapist and parents I could talk to, but doing so didn't help, either, because they don't understand what I'm trying to say.

I'm sorry also that it came off as guilt trippy. I'm really bad with managing my tone, especially when I'm feeling like this. I don't mean that as an excuse but as an explanation.

I used to say I had a 'knack' for art tbh. then i realised i.. really didn't? i just drew more than the other kids in my class because i didn't like sports or maths and got the reputation for being "the art kid". funnily enough i was also into creative writing and history but no one looks at reciting historical facts like they do with drawing 🤷‍♂️

it wasn't til i was in a course with other artists everywhere when I realised just how not-talented i really was. and thats fine cus none of us really were. some of us were just better at learning than others (which is a trained skill in of itself) and that's about it. 👍

if it helps at all, I have gotten into sports recently despite being useless at it all my life and have realised that it was more that I just needed an environment to flourish in instead of any problem with my athleticism itself (which is STILL BAD don't get me wrong but im not hopeless like my gym teachers thought i was 😭😭). so maybe what u need is just the right people? try finding an online artist community that you fit in, make some friends, and just chill with them while making art together?

if you squint a bit or just believe in me the narrative of the monkees is almost epistolary or maybe multi-media in the way that you have to use video interviews, articles, other things, to piece together what they experienced and to know what people thought about them during the shows run

you could go even meta with this because i learnt about alot of the background stuff through older blog posts on tumblr which did impact my initial reading of head (1968) which could be a really interesting thing to think about - how other people talking about a certain work can also be influential on someone's interpretation of the text

and i kind of wonder to what extent all these things were known about the monkees when head (1968) first premiered because yknow the background info abt the real life monkees is an essential part of the narrative the film is telling. how did it influence how the film was received? how crazy would it be for a teen-young adult who watched all the episodes of the original tv show, maybe hear the 'monkees dont play their own instruments thing' and see them live, to see how the monkees as a concept are depicted within the film

So about a year ago or I think in the beginning of this year I saw a reel on YouTube abt TH and JK at the airport where TH was trying to hold JK hand and I didn't understand ppl where commenting abt how they were finally coming out and JK was shy or scared and all I could think abt was that JK body language was "the hell you trying to hold my hand for" that's what I got. Remember now I didn't know them didn't even know their names bt that reel was just cringe for me,and I didn't even know there was shipping going on in bts😩... Bt about 6or7 weeks ago a saw a funny video of them on insta and rm caught my attention so I searched their songs on YouTube became a instant fan bt then I got obsessed with jimin. Well suddenly all these tkk reels started coming on my tml and I was curious at first because there were so many tkk stuff and ppl always commenting under posts tkk is real I looked Into that first and I got to say I don't know how ppl can say they a couple bc I didn't even know abt jkk and those tkk stuff got me messed up coz when a saw a vmin reel I was like yeah they can maybe be a couple bt Def not tkk so I started searching jimin Omg that man is heaven Send... And low and behold jkk stuff popped up on my time line, my god when I tell you about the butterflies I felt when a saw that reel about 2018 where it looks like JK wanted to devour jm I knew a was at the right place.. I guess some people see something in taekook while others don’t and you happen to be one of those who doesn’t. For me, it’s always been clear that taekook are just friends not just because I couldn’t see anything beyond friendship but because all the evidence and common sense points to them being just friends but I guess not everyone sees things the same way and that’s why we still have tons of taekookers out there.

As for Jikook, they’ve always been the most likely pair to be real to me not just because of what I see or feel about them but because there’s been alot of that has strongly pointed to the possibility of them being more than friends over the years. I cannot swear that we are right about them being a couple because we never know but I know for a fact that they have and have always had an incredibly deep bond. Also, I am positive that taekook are nothing more than friends, no matter what taekookers would like to say about them and the solo era.

I would advise that you try to find and watch as much original content as possible. You can find some on Youtube, daily motion, weverse etc. Try to avoid youtube, instagram or tiktok edited videos because those tend to take out alot of context which makes you misunderstand alot of their interactions or moments. You can also check out @stormblessed95 blog. She has done an incredible job in explaining their dynamics and breaking things down. She is also the best person to go to if you need to find a specific content. To know more about the other members you can follow member focused accounts on any social media platform but make sure you are not following toxic or delusional shippers or solos because they could influence you to start hating on or being shady towards other members. Find content like run bts, In the soop, Bon Voyage to really get to know them. You can also watch their Vlives from weverse. Sometimes i forget there are like actual adults in the internet, like- not that i dont KNOW, i follow many adults in social medias and i know theyre adults, im talking about... problematic ones.

Im so used to seeing things on tiktok where a person is being distasteful in there, they usually get called out (as they should) and most of them are just kids who doesnt know any better, you get me? Now.. whenever i see another person or a video talking about- or calling out a very problematic creator, i usually think "oh its probably just a teenager who doesnt know any better or just a rage baiter" and then i get flashbanged when i found out the person is like...almost at their 30's or 40's

and if theyre that age, that means theyre a millennial, meaning they would be in the internet most of the time im guessing.. so im like..i feel like you'd know if you've been in the internet for THAT long and old enough you'd know if you do these things you'd get called out or bullied, YET THEY STILL DO?

This is just a rant of mine, this isnt a target to ALL millennials obviously because...like i said this is abt problematic ones, gen z'ers just like me has also been in the internet too, and there ARE problematic ones im sure...ive seen them alot, i just thought that if you're like been in the internet longer than most gen z's you'd like be aware of what you do or post in the internet or atleast change from your mistakes but i guess ive been proven wrong yk LOL

ok ok so, its a very simple swap au as i've said and im gonna be shooo honest with youo, its ciel x ichika, i like the ship i think they are cute together SO ITS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT ANYWAYS THIS IS GOING TO BE KINDA LONG

In this au, ichika is a fairy from strawberry mountain, and goes off to paris to learn about sweet making like ciel in the og, however unlike ciel, she goes alone and does learn from jean pierre and gets shot into the lime light, but the thing is that she kinda feels like somethings missing.

yeah she makes a lot of kiraru with her technique alone and her passion for sweets making but it feels a lil.. empty, she is a very lonely girl and at the beginning very clumsy [its still ichika cmon dsfjn vg] so she kinda also has this like BIG imposter syndrome thing going on, she masks it well enough for PR and what not but shes kinda worried that this all is just a big stroke of luck and some day shes going to inevitably fail.

I will say i do have kind of a storyline in mind so bear with me dfkjbnjkdf.

Anyways, she goes on her life in paris as Uzuki Ichika: Prodigy Patissiere [am still making the au so bear with me for there will be changes here n there] and nothing more, UNTIL, she runs into Usami Satomi [aka Ichika's mom in the og storyline] and they talk, and she learns that Satomi is a doctor and lives in strawberry mountain and all that stuff and shes in paris temporarily as part of her job, and i want them SOMEHOW i've yet to really think about all the details to develop a sorta soft ish guardian&kid relationship like, thats not ur kid but might as well be type thing.

ANYWAYS, after enough time [yet to be determined] i feel like ichika starts confiding in Satomi alot of the feelings she has going on and Satomi brings up the idea of taking a break and going back to like her home town, and Ichika does agree and all [BUT I WANT SOME REALISM HERE RIGHT not too much tho we still have fun,] but does bring up the fact that she probably wont have a place to stay if she does so [excuses cus she could very much so stay with the fairies] and CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG but a long time ago i did read something about how if you know like, a family in a country well enough they can like take u in for some time? like Adopt you so tospeak AGAIN I MIGHTVE HALLUCINATED THIS but if not yeah, THATS what happens.

So shes staying with the Usami's! yay! well just the dad cus Satomi does have to travel cus of her job n what not, and goes back to strawberry mountain to hopefully clear her head and maybe remember why she did all of this in the first place.

THATS THAT ON ICHIKA, which im going to be sho honest with you, shes the one i've like thought abt the most, mainly cus i like making the pink cures depressed kdsnbjkfdb BUT ALSO because shes in SUCH a situation and i find that inchresting.

I WILL ALSO SAY, im not swapping everyone, just ciel n ichika, mainly cus i find making ichika a fairy and ciel a cringe fail amateur patissiere very fun and inchresting BUT I DIGRESS.

NOW, AS FOR CIEL, shes a normal girl that has just moved into strawberry mountain, ysee, she is originally from strawberry mountain but moved out at some point in her life and decided to sort of move back in to take care of her grandmother who still recides in there, Rio also came along with her cus I LOVE MY SIBLING DYNAMICS OK.

SPEAKING OF, the way i see their dynamic is that they are very close and yes they stil have their shared interest in sweets and what not but ciel is more of a What happens if I double the amount of batter type interest and Rio is more of a Watches 3 bilion youtube videos on alot of recepies that he sometimes asks ciel if they can try out. Which ofcousre has a very diverse rate of success kdjfhbjbk.

They have the Passion and all the Feelings into it but Not alot of technical skill, I do think they meet Pekorin the same way Ichika met Pekorin in the og story, AND I DO WANT TO MAKE RIO A CURE, HE WILL BE A CURE I WILL MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

OH speaking of, i did kinda change Ichikas and Ciel's cure names, Ichika is now Cure Meringue and Ciel is now Cure Velvet.

Ghost is shallow. There is alot about him in the old comics but i doubt that can be considered canon with his remaked version. There is pretty much nothing on him and MW3 remake was abysmal dogshit.

I used to be huge fan of cod, especially got crazy into it when MW2 remake dropped, cuz i saw the potential in it with the character interaction and possible future lore and depth but there was nothing cuz all these companies want is money and the audience is straight men that just wanna play the video game. Which is fine i like the game but its still a shame since ghost is so beloved and many people would love actual lore. What really gets me are people that just thirst over COD men and fall for military propaganda like dumb sheep lmao. Straight men gamers - horny women and gay men, sides of the same coin. Alton OC lore/facts thing :3

at alton towers (fictional one in my head), there are human versions of the rollercoasters that are AI android things. they are all sentient.

from the thrills to the family attractions, there are androids for the rides. (i have yet to design them, trust)

their bodies were built during their construction

every android is sentient AI, some know that they're ai and accept it, some dont know. they get in relationships with eachother, they have friendships, siblings, and enemies, rivalries, ect.

they also get phones... but have restrictions on what they're allowed to say sometimes

more is under the cut incase anyone wants to read. tw for mentions of death

the androids CANNOT leave the park.

why? because they'll either die, or get shut down until retrieved... and there have been many cases of the androids trying to be free.

the known cases of escaped androids are: (these are the coasters i know abt)

oblivion - the old body was never found, just rebuilt into the oblivion we know now. (this is reference to the the queue line video where a ride-car thing went missing) this was before smiler was built.

enterprise - ran away because she heard she was gonna be taken down... but she didnt know that she'd die anyway if she tried to escape. this happened to the old rides at the x-sector too.

nemesis - ran away, was found, and rebuilt into nemesis reborn. her old memories of nemesis is hidden somewhere.

air - the second he left the alton grounds, he died. body was found when galactica was being made.

anyway time for me to yap about my main characters Oblivion and Smiler and how being trapped at Alton effects their mental ai health... and facts about them. time for absolute nonesence because i wanna talk about them

Smiler handles being trapped at Alton since birth kind of well. he has everything he needs. he has the Ministry, his secret lab that not even Alton knows about (because they'll take it away), only Oblivion and the Ministry know about it. in the lab he does actual marmalisation, medical malpractice, ect... yeah he's evil sorry guys. so since he has everything he needs, he's pretty content... at first.

he started getting tired of being treated as an attraction (which he is) and wants some fucking respect (he gets respect from the Ministry, thankfully.), so he started being a bit rude after a year of living. as the years went on, he acts like how he does now.

Smiler snaps often when ordered around by anyone because he has a big ass ego and thinks he deserves respect and thinks hes better than everyone becasue he's THE Smiler.

his AI mind has been around before the rollercoaster was built, so he's alot older because it was kept somewhere by the Ministry for years. (im working on it)

he barely gets a break, he has to work everyday and literally gets paid nothing because he lives at Alton (in the x-sector).

now onto how Oblivion handles shit.

Oblivion... he's been around for 26 years. everything gets boring for him, guests feel the same, everything feels the same. he wants to be outside of Alton because he has places he wants to go. he wants to be able to go to pubs, concerts, raves, ect.

after being at Alton for like years, he picks up drinking because he wants to feel something... the same thing everyday really dulled his emotions. ever since the others at the x-sector died, his drinking has gotten WORSE. and smiler does NOT help with his constant bitching. (smiler did actually kind of help but still, oblivion is too addicted)

oblivion, after the park closes for the day, often sits ontop of his rollercoaster, sitting on the edge of the drop just to see over the treeline, wanting to see the world outside of Alton. he just sits in silence, drinking and smoking until he gets tired/bored and goes to bed.

after him and smiler started dating, oblivion eventually decided to bring smiler up ontop of his ride for their date. its to show he sees smiler as someone important to him.

their usual dates would be walks around the park, feeding the ducks and wildlife there, going in the rollercoaster restaurant, going on other rollercoasters (they arent allowed to do it, but they do it anyway. they get the androids of the rollercoasters to operate the rides for them safely.)

they're only allowed to do this when the park closes for the day, of course.
