One of the handful of pokémon species that are fully sapient. For the most part, zoroark colonies isolate themselves from humans. Certain individuals may choose to live among humans, partner with a human, or become a trainer themselves, though this is rare.

Contrary to popular belief, they are not mute, but their mouths simply cannot form human words. Under the guise of magical illusion the species is known for, however, they can be capable speakers.

It's such a tiny innocuous thing that really doesn't matter, but I feel like calling duel monsters a children's card game (when it's fundamentally baked into everyday life, and your social existence is judged by what you play and how you play it so very intensely, for everyone in-universe) is an absolute injustice to what it is for that universe of people.

Okay so I finished the series and I was kinda really mid about the ending, which was nice given the characters and Mash, but I just felt kinda... empty? Like not in the way where you’re like “this was an amazing manga and now I don’t know what to do with my Sundays anymore” but more like “... that’s it?”

There was just a lot to the world that was left not talked about, like things that just appear and they just accept it. Dot’s Ira Kreuz and Abyss’ Evil Eye are the first thing that came to mind. Also the fact that there are so many double liners in the series when they’re supposed to be rare? But that could be explained by the fact this is an academy for magic.

OW AU: What if the omnic crisis ended with the extinction of Humanity? PT 2

A continuation from my previous post, i guess this is a world building project. This AU's Part 1

Resurrecting an entire species as large and complex as humans takes time and a lot of collaborative effort. Hence the need for the:

The Global Restoration Project

A multi-national project to bring humans back from extinction. The projects main goal wasn't just to bring back humanity but also the various cultures, languages, and cities which were lost or destroyed during the war. It was a very hopeful project meant to foster a new future both humans and omnics one in which they were to share the world together.

It has under recent decade come under scrutiny, particularly after the incident in Australia. The Australian repopulation project was headed by the Asterite Foundation, the project itself was to retrofit the Australian Omnium with cloning facilities mean to reestablish humans, among with many other extinct species back to the continent and more importantly it was to create a space for human society to develop without overt omnic intervention, a facet of the GRP which the general human population began to criticize.

For the most part, the Australian GRP was successful but it wasn't until the discovery that the Asterite Foundation was making non-restorative modifications to the reconstructed humans with the most egregious being genetic modifications to the brain and general fertility meant to make the Australian population more compliant and easier to control. In response, people lost their shit.

Riots erupted as humans called for the abolishment provisional government and began to escalate into armed conflict. It seemed to the onlookers the war was starting all over again. Everything came to an abrupt end with the accidental nuclear meltdown of the omniums core which left Australia an irradiated wasteland of mutant horrors.
