i think one of the reasons girl giant and the monkey king has one of my favorite versions of the monkey king is that he's kind of fucking terrible. like he doesn't go through the jttw in this one- it doesn't take place during or after jttw- so he's fully allowed to be as awful as sun wukong CAN be. the main character frees him like a year before he's supposed to get out or something (i forget the exact amount) and he's genuinely horrifying in the way that first drew me to him in jttw.

he's violent and mean but often in the spirit of fairness and equality. he's murderous and cruel to his friends but also not unnecessarily cruel- at least HE doesn't do things he thinks are unnecessarily cruel to his friends. he beats up his monkey demon buddies because he thinks he needs to. he betrays his friends- but still considers them his friends! he just thinks they're friends on different sides of a conflict now. he's so fantastic to watch in action and i'm desperately in love with him.

i understand him but at the same time he's just fuckin crazy and it brings me the same kind of joy that I get reading the original jttw (or at least whatever translation i can get my hands on) I absolutely fucking adore him and everything he does. im excited that its been maybe over a year since i first read the books cuz it means i can read them again !!!! AAA !!!

Made for @common-evils and thanks to his help i ws able to get Blitz made ! Especially his hair CRYS. It took me forever to get it right.

I wanted to kinda capture all three of his heads. His big eye is always kinda open wide. Not just for his monocle bit also for Randoms visor. And ofc his Hothead Visor is just sunglasses.

Ofc he has his Tooth gap ~ his tattoos are a little more complex than I liked i may revise them but for now! Thats what they are ♡ also those are Chin tats not facial hair !

Blitz was acutally one of the first human former is drew back in 2009/10. So really cool to come back to him after all this time. He hold a special place in my kid heart ❤
