i saw a post that was about how trans lesbians dont really have any reason to enter the queer community and its hard for them to realize theyre lesbians cause they think theyre just really sad straight guys, which i can understand is a hard place to be in, but for some reason there was an assertion that this type of thing never happens to trans men and that in fact trans men end up in communities where transitioning is celebrated, which im sure happens to some trans men, but i dont understand the need to arbitrarily claim Random Shit Thing happens to only trans women as if it being a Common Trans Experience dampens how bad it is or something.

like, even if we assume its easier for trans men to realize theyre trans, even though i imagine theres a lot of gay trans men out there who think theyre really sad straight women, theyre not celebrated? even in the queer community, a lot of straight trans guys that are in lesbian communities end up treated like theyre transitioning to hurt the people around them and like theyre teaming up with the "bad guys" or at the very least like theyre going from Interesting Cool Lesbian to Boring Straight Guy, and while the last one isnt super violent seeming, its still people who are supposed to support you acting as if youre making a dumb decision.

im assuming that the other accepting community here is fandom at large cause a lot of gay trans guys talk about realizing they were gay trans guys through m/m fanfic, these guys get accused of fetishization all the time, especially as of late when people are getting more and more fond of the idea that Only Male People should create or even look at anything m/m. trans gay guys and trans lesbians get pretty much the exact same transphobic rhetoric used against them. it seems like youd want to talk about your similarities other than make assumptions that Nothing Bad Ever happens to trans men.

In addition, I replied to that exact post pointing out that it was not only erasing the struggles of trans men in the same area but also significantly downplaying how difficult it often is for even cis queer people to find a community, as though when you realize you like the same gender you get mailed an invitation to the many local gay bars every town in America has and a coupon for ten percent off on a support network.

i dont see how it would be any spoilers to say this, so ill just come out and do so already! one of the main background ships is geoff/gwen/bridgette. they are just so cute to me, and id like to make it clear the three of them are all dating each other. there is also going to be eva/izzy, of course; and owen/izzy (izzy has two hands). another ship im entertaining the idea of is possibly duncan/dj? but neither of those two are going to have much relevance to the story. actually, funny story, this was supposed to be an alejandro/noah/heather fic, but i totally forgot to tag it as such. im debating on if i want to keep it that way afterall, or have it stay just alenoah.. i guess we'll see the further i write. there is some others but those are a bit spoilery so, stay tuned..!

Imagine your OC became the fandom's most flanderized blorbo. How do you think they would mischaracterize them? ( for any muse youd like )

I can see Kotone being very easy to flanderize, ngl. Some of her character traits are intense and it would be easy enough for people to only see her as those traits exclusively.

All of her nuance would be thrown out the window in favor of HAHA SILLY GIRL WHO JUMPS CLIFFS. NO THOUGHTS HEAD EMPTY. The things she is knowledgeable about would be forgotten or dismissed completely. Her knowledge and understanding of Pokemon is more specialized, rather than traditional, and because of that the fandom would treat her as really stupid. Because you can't be the adventurous type and ALSO smart, right??? I think also there's the possibility that her kindness and forgiving nature would be used to give certain characters a pass in fanart and fanfic that she would never forgive.

Katsumi I feel is safer from this kind of treatment, but I think if anything they'd lean too heavy into her anger/rage or they'd lean more on her sense of duty to Jubilife even though both feelings exist simultaneously for her. I think they'd also twist some of her relationships to canon PLA characters to fit their agenda of redeeming a certain antagonist...

you are correct about me having a wide musical palate...so it actually took me a while until I could really think of a genre I didn't like...but you know what? Fuck dubstep. Stupidest genre on earth. It's funny to listen to ironically if you want to LARP as a 12-year-old boy doing a Minecraft outro, I suppose, but genuinely? Genuinely? I think the genre is almost irredeemable, perhaps even evil. and this is coming from someone that generally enjoys quite a lot of loud "bad" music.

Hmm. I think in terms of general energy, he reminds me of a (pink-breasted) robin. whenever I see photos of robins I always laugh. I cannot really word what about them looks so deeply stupid and special...perhaps their faces, especially their eyes, read weirdly human to me in the sense that they oftentimes look quite serious or domineering despite their stupidly small stature.

essentially, they are very cute, but it's impossible not to laugh at them mockingly at least a little bit. which goes along well with how I feel about tori.

YUZURU! For some reason, my first thought was the jaybird family? Do you see it. Do you understand...perhaps an island-scrub jay, or even the fancier black-throated magpie-jay. I'm still not sure if I can 100% confirm, but these birds are just oddly Yuzuru-shaped to me. They also have beautiful dark blue feathers...I'm quite fond of them.

EICHI! This is another interesting one. My instinctual response was the mute swan. they are well-loved as symbols of elegance, gracefulness, light & love, but they also have a long-running old wives' tale reputation of being powerful and vicious (mostly because they're very protective of their partners and cygnets).

There's a pretty famous saying that you should steer clear of swans because they're powerful enough to break your arm, and though there may be a few (rare) accounts of swans going beyond usual intimidation tactics, they definitely do not go around breaking random people's arms...so...swan mischaracterization is real? SAD! This happened to my buddy Eichi.

Though, oddly enough, I think Eichi can also be somewhat dove-like at times? It's a high honour to award from me, Dove ceramicdove, but I can see an air of doveness in him at times. Perhaps a ringneck (they are on the smaller, "scrawnier" side, but they are very endearing to me). Or a seraphim pigeon.

Ultimately, however, I think I'll leave it off at the mute swan!

WATARU! Saving the little birthday princess for last (even though his birthday already ended, but it doesn't matter. every day is his birthday to me). Everyone already associates him with doves and pigeons, but I feel like he's versatile enough to fit the bill for multiple birds.

Sometimes he has the airs of the Indian peacock...sometimes, something like a garden fantail dove...I've heard that some of the CN fandom associates him with geese because he's big and loud, which is very funny and endearing to me, so I'm adding geese to the list in honour of that. I ALSO THINK HE COULD BE A BIT PARROT-LIKE but I'm not at all well-versed in parrots...!

I think there can be more answers to this question than the ones I gave, but I still tried to be accurate! Thank you for giving me this opportunity...the reason why it took me so long to answer this was because, as I was looking for photos and species and such, I kept going down accidental rabbitholes and reading all sorts of articles and posts about birds...but I have reached the end!

Also, I think birds already come in many beautiful colours, but I wish there were more blue and silver birds...iridescent is not a colour, but more types of iridescent birds would be awesome.

I love seeing your posts about like bandom history and just discussion and reflection from a more mature adult's angle, it's really relatable to me at 29. And while I have not involved in bandom before late 2015, I have studied a lot myself, and Panic! and Brendon were my first faves and still high up there. It really disappoints me how brutal antis are as I have figured them out to a T, treating minor errors as hate-crimes from Brendon but not anyone else. Are we not all human?

I dont know how to explain it exactly, but I think the fundamental difference is the amount of years/internet growth ratio. Dynamics are just different because we (viewers and streamers) had a lot of time to shape the community and we kinds grew up and learned together.

The circle of hispanic CCs im into (Rubius, Alexby, Mangel, Auronplay, Vegetta, Willyrex, Staxx) have been here for +10 years and the most successful are Rubius (40M) Vegetta (33M) and Auron (29M) <- on YouTube. They have +10 years to shape their communities, and had to deal with a lot less people than, for example, the Dream Team has to, because they were growing at a constant pace instead of exploding like they did. This gave Hispanic CCs a lot of room to make mistakes, say a lot of shit, learn and change for better, and the people got to watch those changes and changed with them. (that's why I've complained so many times about NA twt, because all in all, these are people on their 20s with a wide audience, that had little to no time or space to learn and resurfacing sbit from years ago to attack them is just not fair).

Hispanic CCs didn't have a "boundary" list because there wasn't such a thing, but they started calling out people who did stuff out of the line, and played along the with the rest. And, since their audiences were growing at a much slower rate than any of the dteam, we got time to adapt to these changes and indirectly teach people how to behave or what is/isn't cool. For example, two years ago V went on a rant about how reuploading content is not okay saying that there will be consequences next time and the re-uploads stopped. But no one put that on a list like "Vegetta doesn't want his content re-uploaded" because that's like. Common sense. Most of the boundaries are just common sense so CCs don't have to explicitly say it and there's no need to write it down.

Now, i'm taking shipping as an example because it's what caused the whole thing with Quackity in the first place. AFAIK, Rubius, Vegetta, Mangel, Willyrex haven't said ANYTHING about shipping. Like, ever. At the time the popular couples were Rubelangel (Rubius + Mangel) and Wigetta (Willy + Vegetta). They never really had a problem with it, and their friends didn't too, so it's very common to ship them or their friends (Hell, Wigetta even commercialized the name). It's normalized. But again, we were so much younger, and we didn't really have freaks like Poppies. So in the hispanic side RPF never was really taboo, and that's why people started shipping Q with other CCs. Because it's a joke and it's normal and we have a different view of it and there's not really truthers anywhere (mostly because nowadays the streamers are either married with children or in long term relationships). Of course, NA twt has no way of knowing this was all lighthearted so they started attacking new fans. And that's why later Quackity made the thread. The new hispanic fans just need some time to learn adapt to the "rules" of the English fandom.

There's a lot of different things of course, but I don't exactly know how to explain it. It also has to do with how different both cultures are and lot of things get lost in translation (see: when people accused Ori— the girl on Dream podcast— of being a dream anti because of some out of context tweets and wrongly translated tweets). We just need to give new fans a little bit of a breathe and educate them in the dynamics of this side of the fandom without turning it into a witch hunt.

Re: Bruce Wayne. Okay, so it's kind of crazy to think about, but like, in all the years that I've spent writing for the TDK fandom (started posting in 2009) I've only written Bruce once during that entire time, and it was for a crossover AU with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, so we didn't even get to see him interact with other characters within the universe (such as Alfred, for example).

Readers throughout the years keep requesting this though, this idea of Taylor being under Bruce Wayne's care and/or being adopted by him, and the more I see people wanting to read about it, the more I catch myself maybe... slightly... leaning into it. There is little doubt in my mind that the two of them together could lead to so many amazing moments and character interactions. They're both orphans, after all, and they both share the common thread that is the Joker (even though Taylor wouldn't know this, because she doesn't know Bruce Wayne is Batman). But also he'd be such a father figure for her, which Taylor has never had in her entire life, and that's already such an interesting dynamic to think about. He would take very good care of her and she would probably called Alfred "Uncle Alfred" or something, like can we PLEASE discuss this..........................

My main problem with constructing an AU of this nature is that once Taylor has had a taste of the good life, I don't conceivably see her ever wanting to be with the Joker again. BUT, the more I've thought about it, the more I can see the Joker finding SOME way of getting under Taylor's skin (it's what he's best at, after all) and manipulating her into believing that Bruce can't offer her the kind of life that he can, that Bruce doesn't care about her, etc, etc.

Also, it's interesting to consider how Taylor and the Joker might meet in an AU like this. Would she even remember him from her past? In the JK/Burn universe, we find out that the Joker has been looking for after having spent many years thinking about her. But in this universe, would he still care about her? Would he maybe see her on TV (when she's adopted by Bruce, because obviously this would be a hugely publicized moment) and how old would she be? I hate the idea of him kidnapping her as a way of sending shockwaves through the city and getting Batman's attention (just because it's so trite and overdone in the fandom, even I don't think I could freshen up that trope) but then how else are they meeting/coming into contact with each other?

An AU like this is daunting to me because it would have to be planned out so far in advance... and I generally don't plan my stories that far ahead. I've just never been that kind of writer. My best writing comes when I'm winging it, generally speaking.

actually kinda curious on your thoughts on tadashi? cant really figure out what opinions youd have on him since rn hes opposing adam (well i mean everyones kind of opposing adam but you get the point), do you find tadashi interesting or just meh or? yeah curious because your thoughts are uh. Unique, to say the least (not in a totally negative way, ive just never seen anyone really dig into adam's motivations that well?)

Lol. “Unique,” yeah. I get that. I support Adam as a character and as a villain (but I totally expect karma to finally catch up to him in the end, and I won’t be sad when it does), but I’m not all that invested in the fandom ships. I don’t have a problem with any of them, but canonically, I don’t think any of them are anything more than good friends (or rivals, in the case of Eden). In general, I’m actually kinda irked by how people attribute romance everywhere, not just in Sk8, or even anime. xD

I’m guilty of it myself, and I do ship characters together all the time, but for me, it’s more as thought experiments than an actual belief in a romantic relationship. I’m very easily caught up in my obsessions and overanalyzing characters and getting into my personal theories/headcanons; Adam’s just the latest one on my radar.

So actually getting to your question (thank you for asking!), I’m not someone who will like or dislike characters simply based on their relationships with the characters I like. As such, I’m quite fascinated by Tadashi. He’s clearly someone who’s had an enormous influence on Adam, especially when it comes to skating. My speculation is that Tadashi was his first “love” in skating (again, non-romantically), but that Tadashi greatly disappointed or betrayed him in some way in that regard, which led Adam to his downward spiral. For example, maybe he held back in a race because Adam was his boss/his boss’ child and let Adam win, and that frustrated Adam (though I feel like it’s something more serious than that, but I don’t have enough information to formulate a more likely scenario). Or maybe that he told Adam’s father/aunts that Adam was still skating secretly after Adam was told to stop, and obeyed their commands to stop skating with Adam (so Adam needed to find a replacement, though that still seems kinda flimsy)? And that “betrayal” weighs heavily on both of them: it’s caused Adam to go on a rampage in search of “Eve,” and it’s given Tadashi such strong feelings of guilt that he’s been incapable of standing up to Adam for the longest time, even when Adam is calling him a dog or ordering him to take the fall for his perjury.

But I believe that Tadashi really cares about Adam, even though he’s technically opposing Adam at the moment. I don’t think it’s because he’s finally gotten fed up with Adam’s selfishness or has been holding back his resentment of his employer: it’s because he cares about Adam. Given the obvious Biblical allusion of Adam/Eve, his skating name of Snake is pretty symbolic, as well as his demand that if he wins, Adam will quit skating. The snake is the reason that Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden, and that’s literally what Tadashi is trying to do to Adam. So obviously Adam is pissed, because Tadashi is trying to “betray” him a second time (according to my theory) and take away the one thing that he loves more than anything else (in my opinion).

But the reason that Adam and Eve are cast out of Eden is because they have eaten the Fruit of Knowledge and gained awareness of themselves. Specifically, that they have gained a sense of morality, the knowledge of “right and wrong.” (According to my knowledge of the Bible, but I’m not a Biblical scholar or even a Christian, so... take that with a grain of salt if I’m wrong.) I’m not sure how Tadashi intends to achieve that (except that it must involve Langa somehow, since Adam has finally found his “Eve,” which has led Tadashi to make his move now), but I think that’s his goal in challenging Adam at this point, to make him realize that what he’s doing is wrong (in skating, and in life). Right now, Adam is still in a state of “innocence,” despite all the terrible things that he does: I see him as a bit of an overgrown child/spoiled brat, a kid who will strictly obey the words of “God” (his father/aunts, except for when it comes to skating) and pull the wings off insects out of childish curiosity, malice, or boredom. So my opinion/theory is that Tadashi is trying to help/save him by offering him the “Fruit of Knowledge” (though again, no idea what this is or how it would be achieved) so that he can be free, not only when he’s skating, but in real life as well (which is something Adam himself acknowledges, when he has a smoke break while giving Reki a head start--that he doesn’t have as much freedom outside of skating), and begin to truly mature. Tadashi wants to take away the artificial paradise that Adam has created and release him into the real world, but without the chains that are currently binding him. In my opinion. xD

Even I’m wrong and he actually despises Adam with his entire being, I’d still think that he’s a really interesting character though, because I’d want to know what happened to change him from the attendant who clearly cared about Adam and shared his love of skating with Adam/inspired Adam’s own love of skating to someone who wants nothing more than to bring Adam down.

For more than a month I literally have not been able to tolerate anything with mathew fairchild included. Mostly ficts which was annoying cause it meant i could not enjoy half of my main tsc fandoms ficts. I think im relating seeing the merry thieves friendships to that because the way canon mathew treats canon christopher felt like that friendship. Seeing the merry theieves all be friends in ficts and ignoring how screwed up some of their dinamics are in book is kinda linking on to my own questioning of wether I have a right to be mad at that person.

Basically im invalidating ny own feelings and thats making me unable to read tlh ficts which is really sad since its making my love for tlh fade.

But yeah I feel that. I think all of the characters who bother me in tsc or just in general are characters that remind me of ppl I hate in real life. Like Jace who reminds of a guy who used to bully me relentlessly in the eighth grade (the first year of high school in Canada) when I was 13. People used his own trauma (supposed trauma) as an excuse for why he was so horrible to me. It makes me sick how men and boys are allowed to make a sport out of torturing women and girls (and those who are perceived as female) if they have a sad enough backstory. (Cough cough Sebastian/Jonathan cough cough)

I think it might also be why I have a bit of an issue with Livvy. She hasn't done anything wrong technically. She just reminds me of so many girls I hate.

But yeah I totally get where you're coming from and you are entirely valid in your feelings. If you want to avoid Matthew content that's totally your choice. You shouldn't feel guilty. Your mental health comes first.

Ah yes, the og queen bitch. Has my taste for villains ever recovered from Izaya? No. If your villain isn’t at least a bit like Izaya I’m not interested. Durarara was one of my first serious fandoms and Izaya was the first character I ever wrote for and I think you can explain me as a person if you consider Izaya was my all time fav at 13. I can’t really say anything about Izaya that hasn’t been said thousands of times before, I love how goofy and overperformative he can be, I love how there’s so much in him once you crack him open, I love how good of a villain he is for a messy story such as DRRR, puppeteer villains are really a league of their own. We need more puppeteering twinks, maybe then I’d be more into villains yaknow.

3. Hawks from Boku no Hero Academia 

To no ones surprise!Him! I’ve been drifting off from BNHA recently what from catching bad case of JJK what from just reading n watching more other stuff and honestly that’s probably good because I’ve been into BNHA for a couple of years now as my main fandom and I really could have used a break. Not to say I don’t like BNHA anymore tbh I think right now BNHA is the best it’s ever been just ya know, drifting. That being said my love for Hawks will never die, god what a good boy and we got his backstory too aaa ;-;. BNHA was just like Servamp, something I liked but didn’t really have a fav character in until this random support character strolled in and won my heart. God I love how much we got on Hawks. He’s completely different from his initial impression and his unrelenting strive to do good despite being thrown from one horrible situation to the next is just ;-; HES SUCH A GOOD BOY. He’s selfless to a fault, literally putting everyone before himself and putting himself down for not being able to achieve more than is humanly possible I’m just ;-; I WANT HIM TO BE HAPPY. He just makes my heart happy, he’s good and warm and hardworking and in a manga where trauma plays such a major role in so many characters it’s so good to see Hawks there, having been through three different types of hell and still coming out unnerving in his goodness. All I want for him is to have a good life and to one day be able to smile for real.

2. Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen

Again no surprise since I’ve been so into jjk lately. Satoru is p high up rn cuz I’m mainly into JJK now but god knows where he will actually settle. He’s not even really my favorite character in the show, that goes to Inumaki, but this is a list of who I think about the most (tho all of these characters are either no 1 or no 2 for their shows) and boy my brother and foxy can tell you I’m constantly thinking about this bitch. I didn’t really care about him that much at the start but then I got to Hidden Inventory and OH BOY MUCH TO THINK ABOUT. Satoru is such a wonderfully complex character whos evolution you can clearly follow through the years. He’s under so much pressure as the strongest sorcerer to deal with everything and he has to operate in that system trying to change it for the better while at the same time trying to make sure his students arent sacrificed in the name of that change. He has a very goofy disposition but along side with Nanamin who’s a lot more explicit about it, it’s clear he cares about mental state of his students a whole lot. He knows this world is terrible and that the will come out of it with scars and that he can’t protect them from all of it, but he balances protecting and letting them grow as much as he can. They need to grow so jujutsu society can change after all, but they also need to be protected so they don’t fuckin die before that can happen. This is without all the many many opinions I have on Hidden Inventory and SatoSugu as a whole, how they influenced each other, how differently they reacted to their shared trauma (Funny how everyone on this list is fuckin traumatized) and what resulted from it. How their fucking love story is dramatic enough to be a Shakespeare play. Also I like it when he’s long and goofy ahahah

1. Chuuya Nakahara from Bungou Stray Dogs

If there is ever a day when I don’t go feral over Chuuya I’ll probably be dead. He not only lives in my head rent free he owns the place.

BSD has such a great setup with Chuuya, like he’s ex partners with the mentor of the main character who got betrayed and abandoned when the mentor left shared evil organization. Sounds like grounds for drama right? YOUD THINK SO. Like Chuuya and Dazai have such a great and interesting dynamic and you can feel how strained it is from the distance and betrayal and they bicker and fight as their defining relationship trait BUT there is such a strong underlying trust to all the fighting. These two trust each other with their whole lives and that hasn’t changed despite everything, despite how much time has passed and how much that trust had been tested. So you’d think he’d be an important character :) HES STUCK IN SUPPORT HONESTLY HES STUCK IN BACKGROUND UNLESS HES NEEDED TO DO SOMETHING COOL AAAAAA. Chuuya is literally one of a kind, I’ve never seen a character with such a good design and such an cool power and such an interesting relationship to one of the main characters and such a love and support from the fandom BE SO UTERLLY AND COMPLETLY WASTED. Even when we get Chuuya scraps they rarely build on relationship he has in canon but just throw in new random ones at him (tho that’s a broader problem of Kafka throwing new characters at the plot instead of developing the one he already has really). We get a hint of a cool fight with him? Completely cut out, More often then not it just feels like he is benched because he’s so damn strong there would just be no plot tension if he went in and broke some heads (which is also a problem with Satoru, guys stop writing op characters if you’ll just put em on the bus aaa). Anyway he’s completly and utterly wasted by the plot.

And it’s such a waste because he’s such a good character. Like he’s a member if the villain organization and is obviously by that very vicious and violent but also so empathetic and kind to people he considers his friends. He and Dazai have the brawn and brain thing going on and stg Chuuya is like the only brawn I can think of that is classier then their brain. Look at how this guy dressed, he’s high class gay, hat, choker, coat, gloves, he is bringing in the looks. I love how he can actually be completely calm and rational and put together but then put him with Dazai and it’s back to ‘we are 15 and we will scream out heads off at each other’, they are so childish. 

Anyway I love Chuuya he deserves to be treated better and I will never stop screaming about Chuuya ever

i dont want this to come off as rude bc i dont have anything *against* it at all (i am very pro shipping, especially with awsten bc of the pocast) but i do kinda wonder what the thought process behind shipping aws and otto is. mostly bc of the whole thing with otto's girlfriend being awsten's ex. idk if i'm just being too obsessed with realism (which i do have an affinity for, so it's possible) but it just seems like they'd have a really weird irl romantic relationship because of it.

hi anon!! this doesnt come off as rude, dw!! let me preface this by saying im ALSO obsessed with realism; you can see it in every fic i write, every Lore Piece i bring up, and every time i like cross-check a video and analyze it lol. i have a detailed timeline in my mind for basically every ship/band i like, parx included. and i think thats good! to me, the fun of liking a band or an rpf fandom is the three-dimensional, authentic relationships between people, however you interpret them.

im not going to lie; i dont like the gr*ce thing. i dont! i think its extremely shady, and even outside of the relationship with otto and/or awsten i think her public behavior online has been abhorrent for years. the more i learn about it/the way she acts and has acted the more strongly i feel this way. i wont get into it further right now, and i dont want any messages telling me why i should feel X way or Y way instead. i hated the whole situation so much it nearly stopped me from getting into parx at all when i first found out about it. THAT is how much i hate it, and when things are publicly aired (not leaked, aired) on the internet it is everyones right to form their own opinions about them.

that being said, for the sake of this ask, let me take off my rpf goggles for a second. the relationship between awsten and otto runs SO deep. they met when awsten was 17 and otto was 18 and have stayed close for more than a decade. the chemistry they have is immediately evident and obvious!! watch any clip in the many many videos in my awtto moments tag or look through my awtto tag or the awtto tags of my friends or ANYTHING and i think youll see!!! i really do!! its clearly a very deep friendship that i think can easily be interpreted as romantic, which is why i like to :-)

when the whole Thing happened, it was the fall of 2015. waterparks wasnt big enough at that point to be unable to bounce back if, say, their drummer got kicked out. the fact that awsten has made several public (shady, but like, thats his right i think) negative comments about his ex and the situation, but never about otto, says something to me. actually when the whole thing went down someone asked him on ask.fm if he and otto were fighting and he replied something like “me and otto are tight, always have been, always will be. nothing will change that” (i cant link bc theres no way to search beyond scrolling all the way down like a madman sorry BUT ITS THERE). all this is to say, an awtto reading of the situation actually makes MORE sense to me instead of less: if otto werent really, incredibly special to awsten, more so than a normal friend, i FULLY believe this would have ended in a. a broken friendship b. a swift kick out of the band c. a fistfight or d. all of the above.

obviously we will never know the whole story, nor is it ours to know. but i dont think awsten “writes 2 albums and several demos about ONE relationship betrayal” knight would just suck it up and let this slide if he REALLY harbored any ire for otto. no other explanation makes as much sense to me as “otto is really just that special to him” personally. youd kinda think theyd have a super weird FRIENDSHIP relationship irl too, right?? but they dont seem to!

-im in band and ive played the flute since I was 11. its something I care about a lot and I spend a lot of time with a metal tube to my face:)

-I started this blog back in November 2018 with the sole purpose of having an outlet to post fanfic for the renegades fandom because it was so small at the time and only a few people had written fics. I never expected to get more than 10 notes on my first post and to be included in such an amazing fandom but here we are

-im super awkward but I try to act cool (failing miserably) on the internet

-my inbox and dms are ALWAYS open no matter what. I love getting messages, being able to talk to others in the fandom, and getting fic requests. you can literally come talk to me about anything and ill listen

-I want to make a profession out of writing! ive known this since I was in 6th grade and ive been writing stories and ideas since. if anyone ever wants me to write something other than fics I would be ELATED to. my current wip is killing me and I need inspiration

-im thinking about starting a book themed blog/personal lifestyle type blog on Instagram so if youd like to see my sorry excuse for a living being on more than one platform, please let me know

-I have no idea where im going to college yet (find out from all the places I applied to this month!!! including dream school!!) but as of now im planning on majoring in English and maybe a history related field and possibly minoring in music

-im a born and raised southerner in the us. yall. aint, uhhh buccees and Whataburger. 

-im currently thinking about how dumb this is and how I just want to go write a fic because no one cares

-spread kindness!!! I know so many who deal with mental health issues and other things, myself included. you never know whats going on it someone’s life, so make sure every interaction you have with another person leaves a positive impact. there have been dozens of times where I personally could've used some random acts of kindness. it doesn't take a lot to be nice to someone:)

-on a final note idk why anyone ever decided to follow me (maybe they accidentally hit the follow button and didn't realize,,,happens to me all the time) BUT I appreciate yall and all yalls support in my writing and shit-themed blog. Have a wonderful day and stay groovy

please dont nail on homestuck fans because they like the comic after this. we're are as disgusted as you are by whatever the fuck is happening with the skaianet systems and that awful backstory and we never wouldve imagined something as terrible as that would happen. reading the webcomic and being in the fandom changed a lot of our lives and gave us friends we never would have found elsewhere, inspired us to draw and write music and create, and gave us a sense of community to talk, theorize, share, and have fun. people have been into it for near a decade (ive been into it for 6-7 years) and it holds such a deep root in our hearts that this is hard to believe. this almost seems like a prank gone way too far because viz media wouldnt have put up with this and im so confused? why are we getting radio silence post-viz? whats happening behind the scenes? it's exceptionally explicit and out of character and it sounds like hussie was either having a mental breakdown or was intoxicated as fuck while writing that. i am jewish btw and was really shocked to read it. why he posted it i dont know but none of us stan him i hope you "why do you guys still support this" people know that, in fact most of us dislike him, think hes douchey and think the only good thing he produced was his mspaintadventures webcomics. but dont attack anyone who enjoys homestuck or send hateful messages or guilt people because thats a terrible thing to do and youd be a terrible person for doing so. we KNOW homestuck has its flaws and we dont think it's a pure faultless piece of media. but although homestuck is (objectively) a great work with an interesting story and characters (who are as almost as complex as the plot and dave a comfort character for me), more than anything its the community that we've invested ourselves in and thats hard to part from it because of how it's changed our lives so dont give us shit for it
