i read so many good books in july, i can’t choose just one
#homegoing and manhunt in particular knocked me on my ass#the last house on needless street was a little hack in the end but i enjoyed all the TWISTS and unreliable POVs#pachinko made me cry in public twice#(homegoing and pachinko were actually pretty similar in structure which was interesting)#spear was a short arthurian tale#and the hacienda was just a good ole gothic haunted house story#book club#thots on genre fiction#i will give a tw for manhunt for intense transphobia & transmisogny which would be readily apparent if you read#even a single description of this book but i just saw the cover and said ohohohoho what have we here
