Shadow's age is so hilarious to me.

I usually assume Shadow was created with essentially the mind of a teenager, but only lived a couple of years before the ARK invasion happened.

Thus, Shadow has existed for ~55 years, has the mental capacities and outlook of a 15-year-old, but has only experienced about 5 years' worth of life.

Which means Shadow can plausibly get both the free kid's meal and the senior discount.
