it's just the feeling of having his lips brushing against your skin that absolutely does it for him <33

like if he's working away at the desk with some paperwork, he's got you on his lap with you doing your own thing and his lips skimming the back of your shoulder while he types away. or if you both are watching a movie, his lips are caressing the back of your neck absentmindedly. or even in bed, he's leaning on his side with you buried in his arms.

his lips nuzzled against your cheek and your neck, his arms holding you close to his torso with the blankets practically cocooned around you both. it's moreso a comfort thing as the relationship progresses on, the feeling of you being next to him and alive and well that helps him more than words could ever. especially when he starts to become more open with his feelings and his heart, he's so different than to what ghost is. the iron walls around his heart have cracked and there is where you seep in, softening the hardness and lighting the darkest pieces of him. something he thought could never happen and it scares him but at the same time, it's such a welcome change <33

plus he's completely addicted to your scent and he loves nothing more than rubbing his face into your chest and neck or wherever he can access <33

only you could ever reduce the impenetrable 6'4 soldier of pure muscle and strength into a gentle giant <3

Maybe I'm not in the right mindset to write this, but let me go on a tangent real quick. And I genuinely do not give a flying fuck if I get hate, but this needs to be said.

Maybe it's just me, maybe it's watching so many writers leave, maybe it's because I'm having a shitty day, but I'm so annoyed by the underappreciation some writers are getting on this app, and I'm sure as hell not talking about myself.

I've talked about this before, and I'll talk about it again. You guys are underappreciating some writers on this app, and slowly everyone is going to leave. The reason writers love sharing their work is because of their feedback.

You don't have to even write an entire 5-page essay on how you liked someone's fic, but rather just a "this was so well written" or "I loved it!"

I'm thankful for a community where I can write asks months later, but still get interaction or people thanking me for writing their fics and thoughts, but I also know some people who do not get the same thing, which is so frustrating.

In the past week and a half? I've seen so many amazing writers that inspired me to finally create my own account to share my thoughts with y'all, leave this app. Seeing them leave is frustrating because of the lack of engagement or interaction.

I'm begging you, please for the love of god, tell writers if you like their work. It is so dehumanizing writing to a bunch of bots and it just feels repetitive to the point where some writers don't want to write anymore.

i think we as whole have a huge problem with the misuse of the word 'platonic'

'platonic' is not a synonym for 'friendship' or 'deep friendship', platonic' and 'romantic' are not mutually exclusive

'platonic' means non-sexual, which means a relationship could be romantic and platonic

love is much more nuanced than you make it to be

random thought but i was thinking of tara's comments about getting gale to eat and take care of himself and . well. i was just kind of warmed by the idea of gale and astarion having a particular... dehydrated and perhaps slightly unwell sickly look to them that is only exacerbated by their arduous journey, but then six months after that nightmare when they return to withers' party as husbands they look so much healthier!! they're softer and stronger and well-fed!! they actually look alive! and happy! because they are! and isn't that so wonderful!!
