So, there could've been a possibility that Vicki Kawaguchi (one of the kids from Backyard Sports) was named after a late 1970s Japanese TV show called "Ganbare! Red Vickies" (a live-action series about baseball). IDK if it could've been a coincidence but "Ganbare! Red Vickies" only aired on TV in Japan.
