i use more drawing references than anyone alive
#like. the drawing i just finished. 3 different flashlight refs. i took 4 different pictures of myself for pose refs. 2 pictures of my hand.#+ reference photos for my character. 2 refs for tuck. a reference photo of a classic scuba suit#i literally had 15 things on my reference layer#look how am i supposed to know what stuff looks like off the top of my head? that's images! images don't live in my brain!#this is brought to you by: i keep seeing speed paints where people just start drawing from nothing and make a whole thing. how do you know#i'm sure it's a skill but i dunno how u wld even start learning smth like that#do you know how many billion poses and objects can exist-
