Incredible India

My country India well defines “unity in diversity”. Its diversity is the essence of the country. With a civilization of more than 5000 years old, India as a country boasts off diverse religions, languages, food, culture, flora, fauna, etc. India is the second largest country with 29 states. every state has its own religious history. a number of rivers flow here like ganga, yamuna, etc. its national flower is lotus, national animal is tiger and national bird is peacock.

diversity can also be seen in food and clothing over the regions. we have Gujarati food as vegetarian and Bengali food mainly comprises of fishes. people from north India mainly eat wheat whereas south Indian dishes mainly comprises of rice.

India has its geographical beauty too. from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from desert to seven sisters. each state has its own beauty and culture.

North region - it consists of Himalayas, Kashmir which is considered as the heaven on the earth . Punjab is known for its farms.

 East region - east region consists of states like Bihar, Uttrakhand, West Bengal and seven sisters. also the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar islands.

West region - the western part of India consists of desert and states like Gujrat, Maharashtra , Goa and  Rajasthan. also union territory like Dadar and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. it also consists of  the Vindhya Range and the Arabian Sea. Mumbai , a city of Maharahstra, is considered as the city of dreams. Gujrat is known for its lions, Rajasthan for its forts and kings.

Southern India -  South region is known for their cultural festivals, languages and foods. The people generally are of black tone and are known for coconut and rice items. People are religious and believe in god. 

India is a Democratic country where people themselves choose their leader and live with freedom. everyone is equal before law. India is a secular country and welcome all religions with full heart. India gave birth to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and other religions. Today, Hinduism is the third largest religion of the world.

India is also the land of festivals. every festival is celebrated here but the main festivals of India includes Diwali, Durga puja, Holi, Ganesh puja, Navratri, Rath yatra, etc

Indian food is as diverse as India. Indian recipes use numerous ingredients and it has wide variety of preparation styles, cooking techniques, and presentation. the tastes of food like salads, sauces, vegetables, meat, desserts vary from region to region.

India is a country where great leaders (Shivaji, Gandhiji, Nehru, Dr. Ambedkar, etc), great scientists (Dr. Jagadeeshchandra Bose, Dr Homi Bhabha, Dr. C. V Raman,) and great reformers (Mother Teresa) took birth.

India is also incredible because of its monuments, forests, and heritage. Every year foreigners visit India to see the places and its story. It’s history, culture & heritage is as unique as it is rich. It’s no wonder that a lot of great personalities has acknowledged India’s contributions to the world.

We Indians welcome the world with warmth and hospitality to come here and explore the beauty of India and its Incredible Culture.

We are proud of our cultural distinctiveness. We are proud to be the inhabitants of India. It is our duty to maintain its unique feature.
