I love colours,they brighten my days of pain when im bedbound recovering. Having had a productive weekcompleting new projects working with new people ,i fell ill. Menioned before my paralysis comes with a lifetime of after effects where i require bedtime recovery. A life threatening condition called AD Autonomic dysreflexia needs to be highlighted to all people with spinal cord injury. This AD triggers can occur no matter what you do. One of the difficult times is during the menstrual cycle period where your blood pressure can drop drastically in 40s and heartbeat so fast to the point your having a head rush,having palpitations, your body goes clammy and sweaty yet your feet and legs are ice cold,vomiting and painful spasms.This is what i have been going through for the last 3 days. While i recover i can share my uptodate posts of my work i have been doing . I will soon share with you my new collaboration with another female for @lingerie.lowdown . I have often fought withmyself to not talk about my daily life battles on my youtube channel but many of you have asked me you want to hear from because you always see how strong i am while i go through the pain. I will be taking another path and sharing my lifecoaching lifestyle tips to help others on my channel so watch this space. In the meantime i am sharing with how my confidence began with loving myself and accepting my body changes by wearing what i want and being proud of my inner beauty where i believe my fashion tips can really give you an i inspiration to take pride in all of you and wear clothes to embrace all of your beautiful self and not to hide in. Having spent the last 2 days in bed recivering from all night throwing up,dehydration and joint pain all linked with my spinal cord injury-paralysis . I learnt while it is such a relief to just stay in bed bed and no longer function by being upa bd about that is not my way. I go through all my hard painful challenges so i can keep moving forward. I remind myself how far i have come and this is another chore i have to go through yo be happy again. Im blessed to have a understanding family even though i feel a big burden on them but they remind me im not and that it is just life and life goes on . That is definitely true.... while i have my difficult spell life does still go around me and that is exactly what i say to myself while im in bed that i must continue living from just getting out of bed and getting washed is an action of moving forward no matter how painful it is. My body is drained and i know i have to nurition it not just with food but with a positive mindset which i get when i see my daughter who still loves me when i am unable to hug her or even be with her for 2 days. I hope this short story gives you a sense of appreciation that no matter how your feeling life still has to continue it is up to you on how you want it to continue through the hard work and tasks to rebuild your health dor the easy way by stop doing anything and stay in bed. "Changing the way we live our lives" For years i couldn't change,i had gotten used to conforming and fitting into the systems categories because we were all told this is the normal way to be accepted inorder to get anywhere in life. I made the hardest decision to break free from this.Why was it hard? I lost my family, friends,community disowned me ,i was on my own & suffered unspeakable pain. I said NO to being restricted and controlled. I became free and over time started becoming happy and learnt i am not alone,i can live my life my way for my happiness! It took 35 years for me to no longer blame mysel for feeling ashamed,letting my family and community down,being disappointment. for me it wasn't about material things,status & money. I suffered to have my own life, my own free will ,my freedom of speechand build my own family,choose my own career&passions. Every choice I've made i am proud to say i worked damn hard on my own without any help to get to where i have wanted. "Lost & Found" - here is an message i learnt from my life stories; ever wondered why you found something after so many years you forgot about it & then when found you have a happy moment ( that little smile comes out or you go " oh ahh"? The same goes with life changes and unhappiness. We create a chain of emotions that occurs from our choices of reactions with what we see and experience everyday .

Our brain is always findiing ways to fix what we think is missing in our lives. If you changed your mind & controlled what you see and how you react to it then you would choose an emotion/behaviour that benifits you.

My example- i stopped watching TV. It has been 2 years. I stopped being governed by the TV and waiting for the times to watch what i was interested. Instead i took control and decided i am going make my time useful and watch what i want by other means i.e netflix in my own time. This helped me not watch negativity and i filled my time with being more free to do activites to keep training my brain i.e reading,have lengthy conversations with people in person, beeing outside with nature, art skills with my daughter ( along with everything else i do). . I am happy because i am in control of my happiness and i never let negative words&peoples behaviours effect me. I just let it go with a smile & remind myself my life is worth happiness. Celerbarating #rarediseaseday yo show we are normal humn beings also. EDS and JHS is a genetic condition often seen as invisible and incurable disease. Through our pain,struggles, and fatigue we live a happy life. Both my daughter and i suffer from a merication condition that does affect our lives but we done give into to our pain. We are grateful to be living and surviving and fighting for being alive because we both know living is a precious gift not to be wasted. We are both blessed to have each other and appreciate that we are filled with love and support. As Keynote Speaker and Motivational Speaker i appreciate every company who listen to my voice & on occasions my daughter will be speaker with me. Remember this....
