THERE ARE HUMANS IN MY BRAIN THIS TIME #idk i just missed them. there's something soothing about the fire water earth trio #been spending more time with the final trio (blade dante rei) lately and they bring lovable chaos #whereas the starter trio are tea parties and gentle smiles #edmond's outfit is iconic honestly it made me laugh for several minutes when i first saw it and i've never forgotten the feeling #imagine edmond going out to fetch some oats or smth #and when he comes out of the market he sees the entire clan cosplaying as him #it's not like the other soldiers have this uniform right? so it's an edmond exclusive?#maybe only ed gets the sash and badge #but everyone else gets those thigh high boots and capelet that ends just above their butts #in the universe where they must wrangle with dangling dicks ruining the flow of their outfit #ed and oli know how to tuck. they do it marvelously #yaku can either be slit-blessed (no need to alter his bits for the silhoeutte)#or CURSED with massive external dick. which is funnier bc then it's IMPOSSIBLE to walk around in an outfit like that #it's like the grey sweatpants meme. ur just tryna exist but all these jezebels keep staring at your dick outline #(jezebels is eiden)#nu carnival edmond #nu carnival olivine #nu carnival yakumo

I'm tearing thru this sketchbook i did 19 pages this month

#unless i do another one before march ends #im jst scribbling in here i dont think anythinf is happening though #idk i dont like what im learning #drawing very stylized makes me feel unknowledgeable...or like im not depicting what i want to depict #bc extreme iconic stylization removes that organic human warmth i wanna convey #but then the alternative is drawing too realistic (which is more evident in my trad sketchbooks)#(i know my style in general is NOT realism)#and i dont want. to be too realistic. it makes it harder to get away with certain stylization bc then it looks more obviously ''wrong''#and out of place....aroo #AND ALSO MAKES MY WORK STIFFER!!!! i want to find a balance....#i hate that even when i learn and ''improve'' i get no where closer to drawing how I want! alas #talkys #also running into that super confusing mindset where i look at art i enjoy and think about how if *i* drew that i wouldnt like it #i wish i had someone elses eyes so bad i dont get it

#Who knows maybe they'll be amazing like how Tom Hardy is able to pull being an amazing Heathcliff #But I doubt it I've never been into any of their roles much idk #And also #Couldn't they just #Even if they were amazing #Couldn't they just cast amazing people that actually fit the air vibes and look of the characters?#And not just some actors that are popular at the moment of the process of filming?#Besides very popular actors playing very popular characters is always ALWAYS wrong #I don't understand at all #And in 2024 year of our lord or whatever how do you cast a white man as Heathcliff? With all the significance it has?#Have you read the book or only wikiquote?#I think Jacob Elordi is a better fit than some others before him. At least he has some charm and you could believe he could throw a punch #But. Couldn't they just. Cast a man that also has physical presence but that fits the description of the book #and is not the pretty boy of the moment? It's detrimental for such an iconic character that the actor is that well known #and Heathcliff being non white is key.
