For me, bow knights are absolutely cracked enough to kill a synthetic god, so I just threw Leon and Tobin out and hoped for the best. Nth loop dreadfighter Lukas did help though, but he wasn't maxed out in stats.

I know that society pushes people to be in (hetero, exclusive) romantic relationships but I still wouldn't do it even if the incentive was even greater than it is now. I genuinely couldn't be in a relationship, it would make me so violently miserable that it would take a whole lot to push me into one.

I think the best example of the way in which fandom “boundaries” for mcyts are kinda arbitrary bullshit is back when schlatt made some kind of joke on stream once about hating cosplays of his dsmp character and everyone on tiktok started harassing c!schlatt cosplayers en masse because cosplaying him is “against schlatt’s boundaries”, but as soon as schlatt got cancelled on twitter people suddenly stopped caring because “schlatt is a bad person so it doesn’t matter anymore”

On top of this I don’t think he ever explicitly said “do not cosplay my dsmp character”, just that he finds cosplayers cringe

Overall I think this is a good reason why we should not be harassing content creators to make detailed lists of things like triggers or what they’re uncomfortable with because the second someone feels they’re a “bad person” everything on that list is free game

One fanon thing that I almost never see get called out is about Jason.

Now, understand that I am an absolute sucker for this fanon thing. But even so...

Jason suffering from Lazarus Pit-induced madness when he was in his Super Villain Era (UTRH, the attack on Titan Tower, fighting Dick!Bats, Battle for the Cowl) is... entirely made up by the fandom, though I will give a shout out to the UTRH movie for sort of including it as well.

Jason was (in canon) suffering from a lot of trauma and rage... but he was also quite sane, as far as sane goes for Gotham vigilantes. His return to the side of the angels post-Flashpoint is never really explained, so fanon filled in some blanks- him turning it around with seemingly very little accountability for his previous actions makes sense if we say "well, actually, he was insane and under the influence of the bad bathwater back then."

But... it's just not canon. So if you go to the comics looking for it, it won't be there.

Anyway, write what you want. I love them pit-rage stories. I just don't want people to try and get into the comics and be disappointed with the Jason they find there when he doesn't measure up.

okay this is a little diff from my usual posts (just a little) but here we go

Whumpee who used to play Disney songs in order to get things done, would keep them on loop until they get the thing done

during their capture, Whumper just, out of nowhere, tells Whumpee to clean the room that they had been hurt in- they got clothes strewn everywhere, and quite a bit of blood.

“And because I know that you won’t be able to, I decided to have a bit of.. encouragement! Let’s see, which one was it again?”

and the song they used to listen to starts to play from speakers around the room as Whumper leaves. Whumpee is horrified- they never told anyone about this. But they eventually get started on cleaning, all while their favorite song played in the background. The longer they take, the more time it gets played for.

At first, it was a comfort- but as they continued, it got scarier and scarier because Whumpee realized how much time they were taking based on the amount of times the song played, and did Whumper say that they wanted it to be fast?

They eventually do get the room clean, but then it happens again. And again. Every single time they got hurt, Whumper would make them clean the room up, no matter their injuries.

After they get saved, Caretaker tries putting on the movie that they knew Whumpee loved before they got kidnapped-

But Whumpee can only hear their yells of pain as they get up and start to clean the tables, almost in a trance. When the song ends, they look up, confused. why didn’t the song repeat?

I’m just thinking about the absolute horror on peoples faces when I would tell them it takes 4 hours to spin enough yarn for a pair of mittens because that’s really not that long.

Binging 5 episodes of a show doesn’t really seem that long, but it’s still the same 4 hours.

The way we think about time and objects now is so strange.
