There's several possibilities for why Cyprian didn't marry before he got to the Willow Court but by far the funniest option would be that he was too caught up in his work as the Alderking's guard to actively find a wife and every time someone showed interest in courting the Alderking turned them down cause none of them were good enough for his Rian
