I really hate how every time President Pullman says “Pilot! You armed?” I know EXACTLY what it’s supposed to be referring to.
#if you don't know randy quaid was supposed to be flying his cropduster in the final battle#with a missile strapped to the bottom#obviously that was stupid so they gave him a jet#thinking about it it might have been Even Better#but for the corny factor...not necessarily the Epic Movie factor#independence day#so obviously they just reshot a few Quaid moments gave him some shots in the main battle#and then left all the dialogue in#and you can see how it all works for ''some dude flew into this battle with a bomb on a biplane''
